Chapter 10 Floch and Sasha

Eren's POV:

During a ceremony, Floch is one of the people who are guarding Yelena, and thus because of it, Yelena manages to secretly meet me in Shiganshina. Besides me, Peter and Odom are by my side. Yelena asks me, "They are?"

"Don't worry, they are the soldiers working for me and the queen." I reply. "We aren't trusting the military that much, so we have our own soldiers to keep us safe."

"I see. I'm here to inform you about Zeke's secret plan." Yelena says. I already know about the plan and I also inform our soldiers and my Mom about it. To be honest, they are very angry at the messed up plan, but I ask them to keep this a secret. While we're talking, I also notice Floch standing by the doorway, he seems curious about what I will do about the situation.

"Eren, the only way we can save both Eldia and the world is to follow the Euthanasia plan. We'll blend Zeke's spinal fluid together with the wine and we'll send it to the higher-ups who will oppose us." Yelena says. "Zeke believes in you, and I do too."

I stay emotionless as I watch Yelena leave, I also ask Floch to come in and we have a private talk with Peter and Odom by my side. I ask, "How much of our conversation did you've overheard?"

"Almost everything, to think this is what they are planning this whole time..." Floch says with slight anger. "But what's with you not trusting the military and having another set of soldiers? What are you going to achieve if you do this?"

I sigh and say, "I think it's time to tell you the truth."

Floch stares at me with confusion, and I say, "As you can see, all of the residents here in Shiganshina are relatives of the soldiers that both I and the queen are training with. In other words, they don't believe in either Garrison, Scouts, or Military Police. And as you can see, I have full control of the Founding Titan, and I'm not going to die from the 13-year curse as well. We actually don't need Zeke's Titan to activate the Rumbling."

"If that's the case, why don't you just activate it right now?" Floch asks with a curious tone.

I say. "The timing isn't right, we will need to know who's on our side and who's not. There are 13 nations out there, and right now Hizuru is our ally and Marley is our enemy. If the other 10 are joining Marley, then I'll unleash all the Titans in the walls to destroy all nations except for Hizuru."

This causes Floch to widen his eyes in horror, then he asks, "Are you trying to get me hanged, Eren? Going to war is one thing, but destroying the entire world outside of Paradis and Hizuru? That's only something a devil can do. You expect me to believe you when you couldn't even sacrifice Armin for Erwin?"

"You're right. You don't have to believe me. But even you understand there's too much at stake. One of my abilities of the Attack Titan is that it can see the future. One year later, all the nations besides the ones I mentioned are going to declare war on our island, which means all of us are going to be killed because of it."

"Then why haven't you told the others about this?" Floch asks.

"Because they won't be able to do what's necessary. All they care about is trying to negotiate and hope that the world will listen to us." I say, "And even though they say that they want to negotiate, all they do is stay on the island while doing nothing."

"Honestly, I'm not sure someone as sentimental as you is up to the task. But we can't just hope for a miracle either. No matter how you look at it, us, or them. Either way, you're talking about mass slaughter. Once it starts, there is no turning back. Eren, can you truly commit such an unforgivable sin?"

"I will do anything even if it means the safety of Eldia. If being a devil is the only way to make a change, then I'll gladly become one. So what do you say, Floch? Are you going to stay at the side of the military who won't be doing anything but save their asses, or will you join us and the queen, creating a better future for those we care about?"

Floch stares at me before reaching out his hand, and he asks, "So what should I do?"

"We've already had our people hiding in the Anti-Marley Volunteers, they will continue to persuade the other volunteers to join our cause instead of Yelena's. While we're doing the Rumbling outside the world, we will also need to deal with the military. Historia is our rightful queen, but even now she still doesn't have power and people still treat her as a puppet queen. I'm not going to sacrifice her no matter what."

Floch can only stare at me with shock, and I say, "And Floch. To make sure that Marley doesn't retaliate once the Rumbling happens, I will also try to gather the power of Titans stolen from them. We have candidates for the other Titans, and I want you to be the new Armored Titan."

"Me? Armored Titan?" Floch asks, "Why me?"

"Because of your blood. The Armored Titan originally belonged to your family until Marley took them away for their slaughter of Eldians like us." I say. "The reason why Eldia is in ruins is because of the conflict between the nine families, which means all of our families. However, we're not going to make the same mistakes as in the past."

Floch says, "Very well, I'll inherit the Armored Titan."

Then I decide to show Floch other things, the 13 Titans and also the Hizuru and Warrior Style training. I'm glad that Floch trusts me enough to help me with the recruiting. And I am relieved that nobody suspects a thing.

"Now the only one left is the Beast Titan." Aya says to me while we finish our Hizuru style of fighting. "Didn't you have a friend Sasha who is from the Braus Family?"

"Yeah. I'm going to talk to her, but I don't know if she's willing to help us out, considering she, like me, is too close with the others who won't be able to do a thing."

"I see. But you can try to use the Founding Titan's powers to manipulate her if you want to, right?" Gloria asks.

"I would never do that to my friends." I say with a stern tone. "But if things are going out of hand, then I might be going to do it."

"Eren..." Mikasa gasps with surprise, but she decides to say nothing. After we have Sasha at the Reiss Farm, Sasha is confused as to why she was summoned. "What do you want to talk about? And who is she?"

"This is Aya Neumann, the general of the Air Self-Defense Force." Mikasa introduces. "She's one of the people who help us get back to Hizuru since we're the King and the Queen there."

"Okay..." Sasha nods. I say, "You see, the reason we're here is that we need to talk to you about something, I also want you to keep a secret about it."

This causes Sasha to be scared a little, and she asks, "What do you want?"

Historia says, "There is a trait of Eren's Attacking Titan that nobody knows. That is the ability to see the future. A year later, Eren witnessed your death. You were shot by the enemy forces in Marley."

This causes Sasha to widen her eyes in horror, she says, "No way... is that true? Am I going to die? I mean... I don't want to die..."

"You are not going to die, I will make sure of that." I say. "The reason we're fighting the enemies is that they are going to declare war on us. Everyone aside from Hizuru refuses our negotiations and they want to kill all of us. The only way to stop them is to unleash all of the Colossal Titans in the walls and let them trample the outside world."

"But that will mean all of the people out there are going to be killed. There is no way we can let that happen!" Sasha says.

Aya says, "Of course, this has to be our last resort. The warning of Rumbling for the other nations started 100 years ago, so they probably have something to prepare for the Rumbling to ensure their survival. There are also other nations out there, and we need to try to negotiate with them first. If they refuse to help us, then the choice will be the Rumbling."

"Okay...But why are you telling me this?" Sasha asks.

"The reason why we tell you this is that you're a royal family of the Beast Titan." Gloria says.

"Me? Royal Family of the Beast Titan? But isn't the Beast Titan going to be fed to Historia?" Sasha asks.

"And I am not going to let that happen. That's why we might need to do a second revolution." I say with a stern tone. "And we will need your help. Think about your parents, think about Kaya, Nicolo, and those you care about. Do you want them to die? Or do you want them to live happy lives?"

While Mikasa, Historia, and I are still trying to persuade Sasha, I also use the Founding Titan's powers to let Sasha see the memories of the future, I don't know what she saw, but after finishing using my powers, she seems to become more determined.

"Eren... I still think what you will do is not right, but if I don't help you, the memories you gave me will happen, right?" Sasha asks.

"Yes, and we're not going to be ignorant and waiting for our own deaths." I say. "All of us have a burden because of our blood, that's why we'll be working together from now on."

"Eren..." Sasha says with a quiet tone. "So what do you want me to do?"

"When you are alone, I want you to help us with our own soldiers in the Shiganshina." Historia says. "The Anti-Marleyan Volunteers have put Zeke's spinal fluid inside the wines to serve them to those who opposed them."

"What? I didn't drink the wine, have I?" Sasha asks.

"Nobody has drunk it yet because the plan hasn't started yet." I say. "Even if Zeke manages to scream and turn them into pure Titans, I still have full access to the Founding Titan and I will be the one who controls them. Of course, I can also return them back to normal as well."

"Thank goodness..." Sasha sighs. "And about my death scene... how are you going to prevent it?"

"I'm going to make sure that the bullet won't be able to hit you." I say. Aya says, "The 13 families are now united..."

"Yes, all that's left is the power of the 5 Titans in Marley's hands." Mikasa says.

Here is a new chapter, and in this chapter, Eren manages to persuade Floch and Sasha to join his side. I hope you like this chapter and the next chapter will be about the wedding and the first negotiations with the other nations.
