Chapter 14 Battle in Liberio

Eren's POV:

I still remember the teachings from my mother about the Deceiving Titan, and because I have the blood of the Rin Family, I was able to use the deceiving power as well. Both Gloria and I are helping the Stamer and Vilij Nations retreat since I know that Marley is expecting our attack and they have set the bombs on the carriages' seats so they can blame the faults on us.

"To the enemy forces of Paradis... a declaration of war!" Willy yells.

And that's my cue, I appear on the stage and says, "Since you want to declare war on us, why not do it right here right now?"

Everyone gasps in shock as I transform right in front of the stage. I know it is regrettable, but they deserve it anyways. In my Titan form, I say, "My name is Eren Yeager. The current Founding Titan. I have the power to activate the Rumbling, but that doesn't mean I wish to do it. However, you all claim that we Eldians are the devils that slaughtered all of your people. History is meant for us to learn from it. But all of you decide to be just like the Eldian Empire as an act of revenge. Peace is all we wanted, but you never leave us alone, and now I'll unleash the judgment, and doom of your nations is what you're waiting for!"

Then I turn to the Marley Military and charge at them, trying to crush them into pieces. At the same time, I notice the War Hammer Titan is going to transform, I am not going to let her do it. I deliver the punch before she can completely transform, and then I continue to punch until a big spike pierces through my torso. I gasp in pain, but I manage to break the spike.

The War Hammer Titan's face is finally healed as she looked up at me, then she creates a giant hammer and tries to swing at me. It's a good thing that I now have the Armored Titan, so I quickly use the hardening to protect myself. But then I realize that the cannons are shooting at me, and this is not good... I have to cover my nape before they kill me.

I continue to take the hits from the War Hammer Titan, and eventually, I come out of my nape and glare at her. The War Hammer Titan asks, "Usurper, Eren Yeager. Do you have any last words?"

I close my eyes and then open them again, "Now or never, Mikasa."

And much to my delight, my Ackermann queen comes with the Thunder Spears and she saves me by using them on the War Hammer Titan.

"You guys actually came." I say to Mikasa, who frowns at me and says, "Eren... please... come home."

"I'm sorry to make you worry, Mikasa." I frown. Then Mikasa turns around and says, "Eren... do you have any idea what you've done? You killed civilians. You killed children too. You've done things that can't be undone."

"They are destined to die... I didn't want this as well, but what choice do we have?" I ask as I put on the ODM gear that Mikasa brought me, "Gloria and the others already saved as much as they could, but there were still those who were stubborn to listen..."

Just then, I noticed the War Hammer Titan getting up, and I say, "Mikasa, it's not over yet."

She gasps as she sees that the War Hammer starts to sit up. "Impossible! I blew up its nape!"

"And I crushed it with all my strength. Yet, it's not dead." I say. Then the War Hammer Titan creates the bow and arrow in her hands and she's trying to shoot us. I use my time manipulation powers while grabbing Mikasa to the top of the building. Then I also realize somehing.

"I see... The War Hammer Titan... It uses hardening to make whatever it needs. That must be why it won't die, no matter what we do, Mikasa."

Mikasa stares at me before I say, "Get its attention. If this works, I can eat the War Hammer Titan."

"But what about Gloria?" Mikasa asks.

"I will transfer the powers from my body to her. This shifter needs to die." I reply.

Since I'm not with my Titan, Mikasa and I fly around as we dodge the sword attacks from the Titan shifter. The War Hammer Titan eventually finds me and sends a heavy swing on me, but Mikasa moves in time and flies above the Titan, she throws a Thunder Spear on her leg and explodes it.

I decide to land back on the building while watching Mikasa fight the Titan. She sends a Thunder Spear toward the right eye and it explodes. The Titan stumbles and she prepares the weapon, but Mikasa flies the wall and starts running on it, she quickly flies off again when the Titan sends a punch into the wall.

Now I'm starting to get a little confused, but then I realize that the Titan actually transforms from the bottom instead from the nape. Now that I know where the body is, I decide to transform again, I notice the wire and pull it out, revealing the shifter in the same crystal as Annie. Ha, as if that's going to work. I quickly tear the wire, causing blood to come out and the Titan falls to the ground.

"You're not going to stay alive just like Reiner. The Tybur Family only needs Gloria to continue." Then I am going to bite the shifter until I feel a huge weight from my back. Damn it! It's the Jaw Titan! He came out of the trap already?

"I've been waiting for this moment! I'm retaking the Founding Titan!" Damn it... the Jaw Titan's Jaw can tear through even the Armored Titan... but suddenly, I notice Captain Levi comes with quick speed and slices the mouth of the Jaw Titan.

"Was that him?! Is that... Ackerman?!" I quickly shake him off while he's distracted, then I start to pull his hair. He tries to escape by jumping to the roof, but Captain Levi's Thunder Spear causes him to fall to the ground again.

But at the same time, the Cart Titan appears and she manages to shoot some of our soldiers before they can do anything to the Jaw. And just then, Lara Tybur's eyes glow and a giant hardened tree appears and goes through my torso, damn it... I just got rid of the spike...

"Are you forgetting who you're facing? I have full control of the Founding Titan. I can just take your power away." I say with a growl while raising the crystal into the air, I use all of my might to crush the crystal, now the Titan shifter is dead, and I gain the power of the War Hammer Titan.

"The War Hammer Titan was eaten!" "You bastard!"

The Cart Titan is trying to shoot me with the rifles, but I quickly get out of my Titan body and uses the ODM gear and the Attack Titan's power to accelerate.

"Eren!" Mikasa is looking at me with worry. "I'm fine, let's hide for now. There are three left."

Now I also notice that my brother in the Beast Titan form appears on the field, I see that Captain Levi is going to charge at the Titan.

Adler's POV:

After talking to Falco, I have him bring Reiner's body back to the Scouts, since the king told me that Falco will eventually board the airship because of the girl Gabi, who is Reiner's cousin.

After leaving him to deal with the higher-ups, I decide to stay low and hide, watching the three Titans that Eren is going to steal.

"Be careful! I'm not sure where Ackermann is! He's hiding somewhere!"

"The same goes with Eren Yeager, where had he gone?" Pieck asks.

"But if we get him, the Founder.."

"What are you afraid of, Pock? There's no need for us to rush. We're the ones controlling the battlefield. They're being driven into a corner. They came here in ODM gear, so their weapons and fuel are limited. In other words, they're stranded in enemy territory without support. The Marley army has surrounded the zone by now, so there's no escape. For starters, Paradis can't compete against Marley in a real war anyway."

"But if we take out the Founder right here and now, they can't do the rumbling! Their trump card is right in front of us!"

"All the more reason to move cautiously! Right now, just focus on protecting the war chief from Ackermann."

"That's Pieck for you! Precisely!" Damn it, the Beast Titan is throwing rocks, I heard from Floch that a lot of people die because of that attack and he is the sole survivor of that attack. "Eren Yeager... is not my enemy."

"Adler!" Eren and Mikasa find me and I ask, "What's the situation, your highness?"

"The War Hammer is now with me, where is Gloria?" Eren asks.

"Here I am." At the same time, Gloria appears, and I quickly say, "Gloria, how're the Hizuru airships?"

"They are leaving with the families that we're saving. Stamer and Vilij are helping us as well." Gloria says.

Eren quickly shakes her hand, as he transfers the War Hammer Titan powers to her. She says, "Thanks. So should I transform?"

"Not yet. You try to assist Yelena and the others. I still have a lot of moves to play." Eren says.

"Someone else comes first. Show yourself, Levi. You're running out of time." I hear the Beast Titan talking, and after some time, we notice a giant explosion, and the Colossal Titan is in the distance.

"Looks like Armin did his part..." Eren says.

Mikasa frowns, "He would never forgive himself for killing that many people."

"Nobody would." Eren says. "But we've already evacuated innocent people. Those people were our enemies."

"The Colossal Titan! The Titan they stole from Bertolt!"

"Those shits! Guess they didn't barge in here without a plan after all!"

Eren then turns to me and says, "Adler, wait for a chance and transform as well. We need your help to protect the upcoming escape airship."

"Okay." I say.

"It's your fault for underestimating us." Eren appears in front of them, and Porco yells, "How about this, you damn devils?! If you lose the Founder your plans mean Jack shit!"

Mikasa decides to assist Eren with battling the Jaw Titan, while Gloria leaves to help the Marleyan families. I also notice that the Panzer Unit of Marley is being shot by Sasha. Nice work.

"You'll pay for that!" The Cart Titan is going to attack Sasha, but I quickly bite my hand and transform, now everyone has my attention, and I fly into the air.

"What the... A Titan that can fly into the sky?" Pieck gasps in shock.

At the same time, both the Survey Corps and the Marley army look at me with surprise, since my Titan is based on an eagle, I use my wings to create large gusts of wind, forcing her to stay on the spot.

"The Sky Titan is helping us!" Sasha yells. "Jean! What are you doing?"

Jean realizes what Sasha says as the scouts start to destroy what remains of the Panzer Unit. Before Jean can land the final blow, Falco has to ruin it by appearing in front of him, causing him to miss the target.

"Now where is the airship..." I mutter while flying higher into the air.
