Chapter 17 Talks and Talks

Eren's POV:

"Is this the only choice we have? Aren't there any better choices? Why do you have to do this? Arresting Commander Pyxis, Commander Nile, and the other soldiers!"

I say in a cold tone, "They are the ones that actually corrupt the military, arresting Anti-Marleyan Volunteers means that they are going to cut down our only allies outside of the island. If that's what they wanted, why can't I just unleash the full Rumbling and do genocide of everyone instead?"

This causes those who don't know anything to gasp in horror, I say, "I have to assume that you're not joining. So Armin, I'm sorry, but you're going to have a house arrest."

"Eren..." Then Armin is taken away, Mikasa steps beside me and asks, "Are you sure this is the right choice? Arrestin Armin and the others."

"I really hate making choices. I made choices to trust everyone else, and in the end, all of them are either dead or either trying to save their asses." I sigh. "We finished what we're here for, we should inform Historia about everything."

Then he turns to Jean and Connie. "As for you two. Connie, why don't you head to Ragako and have a talk with your mother? She misses you and she wants to see you again."

Connie widens his eyes before leaving, and I turn to Aya, "Are the ambassadors of the three nations outside?"

"They are now at the Reiss farm, Queen Historia is chatting with them." Aya says.

Then we all head to the Reiss Farm, and we find Hideyoshi, Elizabeth, and Taka chatting with Historia. "Eren!" Historia greets me, and the other ambassadors also bow at me. I say, "Historia, the Military government is over. Both of us have the full rule on this island."

"That is wonderful news. However, I'm still pregnant, so you and Mikasa will need to be the ones leading the nation now." Historia says.

"Of course, however, we have four places that we need to go, and we're going there as soon as possible." I say. "Gloria, Aya, Clive, Mikasa, and I are going to find Zeke; Adler, Peter, Odom, Sasha, and Jean are going to Nicolo's Restaurant; and my Mom, Floch, Louise, and Katrina are going to find Commandant Shadis."

All of the soldiers nod as we all head to our locations as quick as possible.

Levi's POV:

"What do you mean that the whole Military was arrested?" I ask with horror after a Scout informs me.

"Premier Zachary was bombed, and all three military forces are arrested by the Yeager Faction, who called themselves the New Eldia Military." The scout informs me.

Now I feel conflicted, to think that Eren will do such a thing... Zeke is beside me as he's still reading a book, but he probably is hearing the conversation.

Suddenly, we hear footsteps and I turn around, I see Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackermann, and the other soldiers standing behind them.

Eren's POV:

"Captain. It has been a while." I say, not fazed at his glare.

"You really are troublesome, aren't you, Eren." Levi glares at me, "Arresting all the military and even bombing the Premier, are you losing your mind?"

"Everything I've done is for the people on this island, and also for my survival. I am not going to let myself be eaten now that I finally get rid of the 13-year curse and also have the true power of the Founding Titan." I say. "Being Kings of two nations open my eyes. And now, we're here for Zeke. He might not be a Titan anymore, but he's still my brother and also Royal Blood of two Titan families."

"And what if I refuse to give back Zeke to you?" Levi asks, "Killing him has been a promise from me to Erwin."

"Yes, it's true that he killed a lot of our people for Marley, but taking away his Titan is already a punishment enough for him." I say.

Zeke decides to stand up, and the other Survey Corps are trying to aim their rifles at him, and I say, "If you shoot him, our soldiers will shoot as well."

Levi glares at me again and Zeke walks to me, he also notices Gloria and says, "I remember you... aren't you Gloria Tybur?"

"Good afternoon, Mr. Zeke." Gloria says, "I was the one who bring Eren and Mikasa to the other nations and start our negotiations. As an Eldian, my goal is to free my people, something that my family never did when they all have the power of the War Hammer Titan."

"During these years, Gloria and Aya here have been providing us all with the new military training. All for protecting our people from the nations who have been allying themselves against us." I say. "And we also have the Stamer and Vilij's help with the weaponry, in return, we provided some Titan labor and protection from the Rumbling, as well as a quarter of the land once the Rumbling tramples the other 9 nations." I say.

"You're still going to do the full Rumblinge even though you already have the power of 13 in your hands?" Zeke asks me with a shocked face.

"Founder Ymir is waiting to be freed, and the only way to free her is the activation of Rumbling." I say.

Then I turn to Levi, "So what's your choice, Captain Levi. Joining the new Eldia, or joining your comrades in the dungeon?"

Levi turns around and says, "I would rather quit in the Military than serve you guys."

"I see. And what about you scouts? What's your choice?" I ask.

Some of them are willing to join us, while some of them refuse and are arrested. Zeke also comes with us as we decide to head back to the Reiss Farm.

Sasha's POV:

"How long have you been working with this new Eldia?" Jean asks me, and I sigh and say, "Maybe two years or more, Eren has the power to see the future, and that's also when I realize that I was going to get shot. I, like Eren and Historia, have the Royal Blood of the Beast Titan. Unlike Zeke, my Beast Titan is a wolf."

"I see..." Jean says, "But why didn't Eren tell us everything, and why only you, Mikasa, and even Floch instead of us?"

"About what you said a week ago, about you talking about how Eren changed, he knew the conversation four years ago. He started to lose trust in all of you." Peter says.

"All of us agree to attack Liberio, but we decide to leave the fight to you, while most of us are saving as many families as possible." Odom says.

"Families that support the Eldia Nation: The Anti-Marleyan volunteers, and those who are against Willy Tybur in the first place." Adler says. "I also manage to persuade my cousin Falco to join our side, but there is still Gabi..."

After we arrive at the restaurant, I find my boyfriend Nicolo opening the door for us. Nicolo is a Marleyan, but I really like his food. And it is because of it that we start dating and I also start to tell him everything and he does the same.

"Sasha?" Nicolo gasps.

"Nice to see you again, Nicolo. Is my family here?" I ask.

"Of course, we're cooking food for them. Why?" Nicolo asks.

"I'm also a part of the family, so it will be wrong if I didn't attend this." I say, giving him a smile.

"I see. But what about the other soldiers?" Nicolo asks.

Adler says, "We're here for lunch, that's all."

"Very well." Then he brings the soldiers to their seats, while I walk towards my family, and Eren is right, Gabi and Falco are there.

"Big sis!" Kaya comes and greets me, and I smile, "Kaya, long time no see."

Just then, I notice that Gabi and Falco tense up after seeing me, and I say, "Those two..."

"You mean Mia and Ben? We found them the other day and they told us that they ran away from home." My Dad says.

"I see." I turn to the kids and say, "Don't worry, I'm not going to harm you, despite you almost manage to kill me."

This causes my family to widen their eyes and both of them look alarmed. Kaya says, "Big sis, you say that they tried to kill you?"

"Running away from home is a lie that they come up with because they come from our enemy nation. A few weeks ago, we attacked their nation because they were trying to gang up on us and destroy everyone on the island. Our king refuses to let that happen and that's why we decide to strike back. While we've done our job to destroy the port and leave, those two sneak on the ship, and I was shot by this girl here." I reveal.

"But how did you heal your injury?" My Mom asks me, and I say, "Mom, Dad, I'm sorry to say this, but I'm the Beast Titan."

"Beast Titan? You mean the same one who killed the former Commander of the Survey Corps and the rest of the recruits in Shiganshina?" My father asks.

"The king transferred the Titan Powers to my body before I died. The Beast Titan always belonged to our family until Marley stole them from the Great Titan War. But we're also at fault for fighting against the other families." I say. "Falco, right? Your cousin is here and he'll bring you to your family."

"My-my family?" Falco asks.

"While we did attack your hometown, we also saved a lot of families and have them live in one of the four nations." I say. "Your family is staying on our island, except for your brother who is still spying in Marley."

"You mean Colt is also a traitor?" Gabi yells in horror and anger, "You devils!"

"Yes, we're devils, but that doesn't mean you are not a devil as well." I say to her, causing her to widen her eyes. "I assume you already know Kaya's story, right? Her family is killed by Marley, just like how we did to your hometown a few weeks ago. Now did you get how we feel during these years while you think we abandoned you? I wonder how many Marley lies you believe in?"

I turn to Falco and say, "Why don't you tell Gabi about what your uncle found in the "REAL" history books? There are no Marleyan officers to arrest you since you're in the so-called "Island of devils"."

Falco gulps and lowers his head, "It is true that Eldians used to use the power of Titans to conquer other nations, however, they didn't slaughter that many people. The only reason why Marley had been a victim was that they always attacked first. Fall of Lago, Devastation of Monte, Ravaging of Valle... all of them weren't because Eldians like to kill Marleyans, but rather because the Marleyans continued to fight for power. It was also thanks to the Titan powers that the nations are formed, we have fields to grow and also constructions to go..."

Gabi stares at him with shock, "No...you're lying... there is no way..."

"You still want to believe Marley even though all they ever did is lie to you?" I continue to ask. "What Falco says there is the whole truth. And now that all of the Titans have returned to the true royal families, the true history also comes to our memories, and we have no reason to lie to you."

Now Gabi doesn't know how to reply, but I say, "I'm sorry, Mom, Dad. Let's just forget about enemies and allies for now and do what we want to do in the first place."

They nod as we continue to have food.
