Edit: fixed some details. added in a few scenes

So this got an update. Honestly this is mostly just to clear up some things and show some insights on what Luz did during her first few days. Hope you enjoy

When Luz wakes up she couldn't help but let out a sigh when she looked at the same ceiling that she saw when she went to sleep last night which meant... everything that happened yesterday was not a dream.

She was still stuck in the past...

Now that she got a night's rest and her bearings she was able to think more clearly.

She has read about scenarios like these all the time in her fanfics and novels but to actually be the one in the situation was an entirely different thing. One thing the stories she read usually don't cover is the feeling of being literal centuries away from everything and everyone she knows.

Plus the knowledge that if she even mess up the tiniest bit then there's a huge chance some things might not even happen not to mention certain people won't be born. Oh god what if Eda wasn't born? What if Amity wasn't born?!

Her best course of action would be to wait for her Aunt Lilith to come back for her. Surely she'll realized that she was left behind! So yeah all she got to do was sit back and wait...

It had been a week already and there was still no sign of her Aunt Lilith. Maybe the remaining titan's blood wasn't enough to make a new device to find a time pool?

Or maybe she's not coming back for you

Luz shook her head. She didn't want to think about that. Her hope for rescue was the only thing keeping her sane and from breaking down. That and she herself was trying to find a way back to her own time.

She had already went back to where the last time pools were but alas they were truly gone. If only she knew how the tracker works but even if she did she lacked titan's blood to do so.

She had hoped to run into that jerk Philip again only so that she could "force" him to give up everything he knows which hopefully included a way to find time pools but alas he was nowhere to be found and she couldn't really extend her search as she was trying to keep a low profile to avoid damaging the timeline.

Luckily the innkeeper(Whose name was Mare apparently) was kind enough to give her a simple job of helping around the establishment in exchange for room and food. Plus her realistic drawings ended up becoming a bit famous what with people always approaching her to have their portrait drawn which flattered her a lot. She even got to set up her own booth for her customers!

Several times she had been tempted to ask people for help but she stopped herself. She didn't want the bloody fly effect to get worse! What if one of those people was her friend's ancestor? So yeah that was out.

At the very least her money problems were solved. If only she could find a solution to her time problems.

She was pulled from her thoughts when another customer sat down on the chair in front of her little booth.

When she looked up she was surprised to see the Witch's face who had a rather similar appearance to her awesome girlfriend.

Amity?! Luz thought before realizing that it wasn't her. God she misses Amity so much. When she got a better look at the witch she saw that while they had a similar appearance there were a few differences. One being that their hair was green and was wild similar to Eda, they had a darker skin tone and a few other details.

She concludes that this girl was most likely just an ancestor...albeit a pretty one.

"C-Can I help you?" she couldn't help but stutter nervously. She was supposed to be avoiding key people and here she was with her girlfriend's ancestor! Oh god what if she says something that accidentally result in Amity not being born?!

The girl seemed to find her nervousness amusing as they let out a cute chuckle "Good evening. I was wondering if you could paint me a portrait. I heard there was an artist here who is quite talented at making realistic portraits" they let out a soft smile that once again reminded her of Amity, causing her to blush a little.

Luz wanted to book it. The risk of the bloody fly effect was too great here. But on the other hand she had been quite lonely. Mare was really nice but most of the time the older witch was always busy to actually be around especially since they recently started a delivery business leaving her in charge of the inn on her own most of the time

...surely it wouldn't hurt to just talk to someone's ancestor and maybe befriend them...right?

And it's definitely not because this girl looked so much like her awesome girlfriend that she wanted to get closer to them.

"Uh. Yes! That's me! Lu..." she paused realizing that she probably shouldn't give away her real name "...zura. Yep that's me! Luzura! The talented artist you've heard of! What's your name if you don't mind me asking?" she let out a sheepish laugh

"You're funny. I like you" the girl said bluntly, making Luz's cheeks heat up "My name is Amelia Blight. A pleasure to meet you" they offered her a handshake.

With a sheepish smile, Luz accepted.

Lilith found herself waking up in her room at the Clawthorne house.

She just had the weirdest dream.

She and her niece, went back in time but when they went back, Luz got left behind. What more when she got back she saw the future had been changed, not to mention her niece was now the empress and her sister was married and has a daughter now!

A strange dream indeed. Lilith thought as she got up from her bed and made her way to the bathroom.

On the mirror she saw a note that read

If you're reading this I hope you're feel better Lily! Dropped you off at your house. Left some medicine for you in the living room -Love Eda!

P.S. Harmony went and borrowed some of your books for her exam at school tomorrow! Hope you don't mind!

She was confuse. Who was Harmony?

Lilith then turned the note around and her eyes widened to the size of plates when she saw a photo of Eda, Raine and the little girl from her dream.

Was that Harmony?! Oh titan she really is Edalyn's kid. The girl looked so much like Eda in her younger years but instead had Raine's hair color.

She couldn't help but find it touching due to how happy everyone in the photo was before she realized one thing.

Her dream was real.

"Oh my titan, it was all real" She said out loud before she walked out of the bathroom and made her way downstairs.

However on her way she noticed that something was...different.

For the most part her house was the same but she has the feeling that there was an air of unfamiliarity to it but she can't tell what. It wasn't until she noticed a bunch of photos on the wall that she began to notice.

At first they weren't anything strange beyond the childhood photos of her and Eda. Photos of mom and dad.

It wasn't until she saw a photo of Eda and Raine literally wearing wedding attires that she did an immediate double take.

It truly sank in for her that the the timeline has been changed and all because her niece was left behind.

She immediately went through the photos taking a look at what else has been changed beyond her sister now being married to her childhood sweetheart and even having a daughter.

While she was worried of the consequences of messing with time she couldn't help but notice how happy Edalyn was in all the photos she saw.

A part of her hoped that she never cursed Edalyn in this timeline but seeing that her sister looked a lot younger that may be the case which relieved a part of her.

She then saw another picture this time of King with what looked like a white haired boy with facial coloring that invoked the appearance of a crescent moon and was wearing a beach outfit with a sun and moon design on it. The two were playing by the beach while Eda's daughter(which was still weird to think about)who she thinks is named Harmony built a sand castle in the background.

One thing for sure was that Lilith had never seen the boy before. Were they another product of the new timeline? Another child of Eda and Raine perhaps?

Lilith found herself pulled from her thoughts when she heard a loud knock from the front door.

She immediately went to answer it but when she opened it she was taken back by who was in front of her.

It was none other than the so called Empress Luzura.

"Hello Lilith"

A/N: You know one thing I've always wondered was where the heck was Evelyn during Philip's adventure after he had killed Caleb. There's no way the woman would just let her lover's killer go right?

I chalked it up to maybe she's avoiding him because she doesn't want her child getting hurt and probably kept a low profile. But still weird. Any of you readers have your own theories about that?

Anyways hope you enjoyed this update. Luz got too lonely that she just couldn't resist befriending her awesome girlfriend's possible ancestor. Hopefully it doesn't lead to something she regrets.

See you next time on whatever story I update next.
