Amelia belongs to Jeabird, and I thank her for helping me with this story.

When Neemon told the gang they could hitch a ride back home on a trail they decided to stick it out in the Digital World. Things were going well – until they found the marks of the Ten Legendary Warriors that it. Lecture time from Bokomon was interrupted by the Candlemon fortunately but unfortunately the Candlemon weren't happy to see the gang. With the heat turned up on Agunimon and Sakanamon they were in trouble until Tommy Spirit Evolved into Kumamon and took on Wizardmon and the Candlemon tribe. Turns out it was all some test, this makes math look like a piece of cake.

As the Trailmon took the two very awkward eleven-year olds to an unknown location, Koji closed one eye, held his D-Tector up, and examined it.

"You must go to Forest Terminal."

"The Forest Terminal? Sure, why not?" Koji said, sarcastically.

"Yay, unknown dark forest in the middle of the night." Amelia muttered it as they entered some trees.

It didn't take long for the Trailmon to approach a station but Amelia had kept her eyes on the forest the whole way through. She thought she saw something in the forest once or twice but she kept her mouth shut and just waited. She just figured it was the residential animals. Soon enough the Trailmon stopped at a village as Koji and Amelia got off.

The red Trailmon yawned. "Just call me the naptime express."

Koji looked at the Trailmon, yawned and walked to a bench. "I better catch a snooze too. This looks like a good as place as any."

Koji stared at the stars. "Eh, this quiet really gives a guy time to think."

Koji glanced at Amelia, she climbed the tree and was laying on one of the branches above him. She wasn't saying a word but was humming giving away the fact that she was still awake.

"What are you even humming?" Koji's question was met with silence, Amelia had even stopped humming.

"Whatever." Koji leant back and closed his eyes, getting ready to sleep.

"A lullaby I used to sing to my sister." He opened one of his eyes when Amelia spoke, her voice sounded far away.

"The view just made me think about it that's all, sorry if I bothered you." Koji looked away before shifting again.

Silence consumed them, the only sound that really reached them was the occasional bug. While the silence did lend time to thinking it also made thoughts wonder back home.

"You didn't have to stop." Only after a while did Koji utter the words, he thought she was asleep before she suddenly started to hum yet he quickly slipped into sleep afterwards.

:Meredith:

The next morning, the gang was walking along the tracks again.

"So guys, are we there yet?" J.P. asked that one question that annoys nearly every person.

"Let's see, what's wrong with this picture? Desert looking wasteland, Forest Terminal? I'd say no!" Takuya snapped at J.P., annoyed.

DemiVeemon's stomach growled and he looked at Meredith who was holding him, she shook her head. DemiVeemon frowned and hung his head, starting to pout.

"Awww, I'm tired! Let's take a rest." Tommy groaned

Takuya pushed the young boy by his arm, "But there's a scenic lookout just ahead!" He urged, then turned to JP, "You know JP, if you hadn't fed chocolate to that Trailmon we'd be riding in air conditioned comfort right now."

Zoe then growled, "So he made mistake, what are you gonna do, take away his bowling shoes?"

Suddenly, a trail whistle blew, and the children turned, to a large, pink mole Trailmon, riding to a stop.

Takuya was excited and started to wave his hands, "Hey, hey! It's a Trailmon! Hey!"

"Well, finally!" cried Zoe.

"Hey, Trailmon, what's up? Can you take us to the Forest Terminal?" Takuya looked at the Trailmon nearly begging it.

"Oh, I over ate at my last stop….besides I'm a freight train. No riders, no exceptions!" The mention of food by the Trailmon only made DemiVeemon's stomach growl again.

Trying to help, Zoe ran up to the Trailmon, "Trailmon, I am as light as bubble wrap, I'm diamo!"

Takuya, Meredith Tommy, and Bokomon also climbed onto the train Digimon.

"Just think of us as cargo!" Takuya was hopeful but was only rewarding by odd train twitching and laughter.

"Oh your little fingers are tickling me something awful. It's too much!" Everyone was thrown off the Trailmon.

"I'd like to bend the rules but I'm just too ticklish! Sorry kids! Keep on this track, you'll get there." Trailmon said, leaving the group sitting on their butts.

"So much for….getting there soon." Takuya spoke without even caring to move so he wasn't practically sitting on his head.

Zoe stood up, crying out, "Come back here! Trailmon!"

"Cut it out, Zoe. I don't think he's coming back," said Meredith, sounding annoyed.

"Don't say that to Zoe!" J.P. was quick to take Zoe's side.

"W-well Meredith is right though that he isn't coming back." Tommy was hesitant to speak up as he stood up.

"Why don't you do something? Unlike you, we haven't been carried at all." Zoe's remark had Meredith turning away from them.

Things fell quiet and they started to walk, following the trails once more. Soon, they reached a fork in the tracks, one that lead further into the wasteland, and one that led to a forest.

Bokomon jumped onto the trail switch, "The track splits here, now which way to go? Left or right? Right or left or up or down, on or off, fast or slow? Time to make a decision." He jumped off, "Uh, I made myself sick..."

"Which way should we go?" Meredith tilted her head as she asked, DemiVeemon copying her for some reason.

"This way." Takuya points to the right.

"That way," Zoe, however, points to the left.

"You're wrong!" Takuya turned and looked at Zoe.

"Why, just because I disagree with you? Don't you think the Forest Terminal just might be surrounded by trees?" Zoe pointed at Takuya as she spoke.

"Trailmon said stay on this track and your way curves left!" Takuya reminded, "You think you know everything!"

"Well I'm right!" Zoe growled.

"So you wanna go right?" Takuya demanded.

"No! I'm going the way that makes sense! Later!" Zoe's words proceeded her turning and starting to walk off in the right direction.

"See ya!" Takuya went left, leaving the group with a choice of who they would follow.

"Wait up, Takuya!" Tommy took off after Takuya.

"Hey, we should stick together!" J.P. headed off with Zoe.

With Takuya and Tommy going one direction and J.P. and Zoe in the other direction Meredith stood still with Bokomon and Neemon. Not knowing which way to go she looked both of them. Takuya and Tommy both had Spirits so they could protect their selves but Zoe and J.P. didn't. Making a choice Meredith turns and starts to run after them.

"Hey, wait up! I'm coming you guys!" J.P. and Zoe looked back to Meredith, slightly caught of guard.

"Aren't you going with Takuya? You two are pretty chummy." Meredith shrugged.

"What if you two get into trouble? I want to be able to help you guys." Zoe looked like she was about to say something to Meredith but Neemon butted in.

"Humans." Neemon remarked, confusingly.

"You know Neemon, those two might be the next to Digivolve." Bokomon remarks, looking at Zoe and JP. "It's imperative that when they Spirit Evolve we are there. We wouldn't want to miss that, now would we?" Bokomon exclaimed.

"'It's imperative' what's that mean?" Neemon questioned.

Bokomon sighed, "It's a thirty cent word that means we have to be there. I can't wait to see that happen in person!"

"But, don't we have to be there for that?"

Bokomon snapped Neemon's waistband again. "Snap out of it, mon!"

Suddenly, JP told Zoe, in a sort of gloating way, "I can't believe that Takuya and Tommy went the other way, I mean it's pretty obvious that this is the right way, I hope." He then added, "He can be a real jerk sometimes."

"You got that right." Zoe said in agreement.

Meredith followed along behind J.P. and Zoe, biting her lip to keep quiet. They were going on about Takuya, bad mouthing him. Even if he was being a bit of jerk it didn't give them the right to bad mouth him behind his back. Zoe and J.P. didn't even know Takuya that well!

"Don't you agree Meredith? Takuya's just a jerk!" J.P.'s words were the last straw.

"He's not a jerk! You two don't even know him that well! Instead of being all judgmental why don't you two attempt to get to know people! The only reason you're attacking Takuya is because you want Zoe to like you so if anyone's a jerk it's you J.P.! Why didn't anyone ever think to ask Takuya why he thought it was the other way instead of just thinking that they have to right!?" Zoe and J.P. stared at Meredith.

"You two need to stop talking bad about people behind their backs when you don't even know them!" Meredith was glaring at them.

The two winced back at her outburst, "Jeez. Sorry we said something about your boyfriend." Zoe growled.

Meredith froze then blushed in anger. "Shut your big mouth!"

Zoe, instead of replying, stormed off towards the forest, "So much for your help!"

The goggle girl gave an annoyed sigh then continued on.

The three arrive to a giant tree with a tense atmosphere hanging around them.

"That is one humongous tree!" Zoe stared at the tree.

"So then this must be the Forest Terminal, right?" J.P. asked the question even though there was sign that said otherwise right in front of him, which they looked at when Bokomon pointed it out.

"This is Breezy Village." Bokomon said it even if they knew how to read.

"It's called the what now?" Before anything could be said someone cut in.

"Welcome, tourists." They turn to see that Koji sat on the bench on the platform on the other side of the tracks.

"Amelia." Meredith saying the name got the attention of the scarlet haired girl, she had been leaning on the bench that Koji had sat on, staring up at the sky.

"So this isn't it." Koji stands while Amelia smiled.

"You're right, it's not." Bokomon's words made Amelia roll her eyes.

"Told you it wasn't it Koji." Koji glared her but she wasn't fazed by his glare at all.

"Hey Koji, what's up?" Zoe's question was answered only by Koji jumping onto the tracks and starting to walk away.

"Where ya goin'?" Her question only succeeded in annoying him.

"Where I go is my own business, thanks for asking'." Amelia jumped down onto the tracks.

"Well it's my business to," Amelia looked at the others, "it should be kind of obvious that we're headed to the Forest Terminal."

"Oh, you're so antisocial!" Zoe's outburst got a small glare directed at her by Amelia but Amelia sighed and shrugged her shoulders.

"He reminds me of white chocolate, it may look good, but no taste." J.P.'s analogy made Amelia glance back, staring at J.P. slightly put off.

"Ok then." Amelia muttered it and shook her head yet she looked at Meredith.

Meredith had jumped off of the platform and was going straight for Koji. Amelia noticed that the goggle girl had a Digimon in her arms, a small blue dragon baby thing.

"Hey Koji!" Koji sighed and stopped, looking at Meredith.

"Why don't you be a bit kinder to people? You're so disrespectful!" Meredith shouted the words and Koji narrowed his eyes.

"You don't know jack about me so shut it." Meredith narrowed her eyes and Amelia got in between them.

"Alright you two, let's calm down please. None of us really know each other let alone people's backstories, people have reasons to be cold Meredith." Meredith shifted her glare to Amelia but she didn't flinch.

"This doesn't involve you so get out of the conversation!" Amelia bit her lip, giving a sickly sweet smile as she bit back words she wanted to say.

"At least she knows when to keep her mouth shut unlike you." Koji's words had Meredith's attention back on him.

"Why you! You're a jerk and so rude!" Meredith was gripping DemiVeemon tightly, he was squirming because her grip was getting to be too tight.

"Mama!" DemiVeemon cut off what would've been said and Meredith practically dropped DemiVeemon when she realized how tightly she had been holding him.

A second later she scrambled to catch him but Amelia had caught him before Meredith could. DemiVeemon's stomach was also starting to growl once more and he was crying.

"You can't even take care of that Digimon so don't act like you know everything!" Koji's words made Meredith pause.

"You should just go back home to your mom and dad!" Meredith stood still yet Amelia noticed it, Meredith's eyes were misting up.

"Koji, I think that was too far." Amelia looked to Koji.

"Why should I even go back there?" the crimson haired girl looked at Meredith when she spoke, she sounded so hurt.

"My mom lives far away and my dad works all day, I never even see him." Meredith stood there, shoulders shaking and a tear slipped down her face.

Meredith turned on her heels and ran towards Zoe and J.P., DemiVeemon jumped out of Amelia's arms and scrambled to his mama. Amelia watched her and fought the urge to go to her, to say something. She looked to Koji and narrowed her eyes slightly which didn't go unnoticed by Koji, he sighed.

"I know what you're going to say." He grumbled it.

"I just said we didn't know each other. Especially when it comes to parents people should be careful because you never know what a family composition is like for a person!" Koji stared at Amelia, it was first time she'd raised her voice to his knowing.

"Apologize to her now." Amelia pointed at Meredith but Koji narrowed his eyes.

"Why should I apologize? She started it." Amelia took a step towards Koji.

"Are you a child?" Koji growled hearing that.

"No I'm not." Amelia gave a hollow laugh at Koji's response.

"Your response sure sounded like something a kid would say, 'she started it'." Amelia pointed at Koji now.

"Apologize to her, at least for making her cry." Koji just stared at Amelia, he hadn't seen her so insistent let alone saying more than a couple of words here and there.

:Meredith:

Meredith ran away from Koji and Amelia, faintly hearing that Amelia was yelling about something. She didn't stop though until she was with Zoe and J.P., they were with some flower like Digimon. The flower Digimon looked concerned when they saw Meredith's state but didn't say anything, Zoe and J.P. didn't say anything either.

"How thoughtful of you to invite us for lunch." Zoe smiled at the flower Digimon, even though she glanced at Meredith who once against held DemiVeemon since he had jumped into her arms.

"Yeah thanks, mm, I wouldn't mind a bowl or ten." J.P. was practically drooling over the thought of food.

Once they had their bowls they all tried the food that the Digimon had prepared for them, glad that it looked like actual food.

"Molto buono! Yum!" Zoe exclaimed.

"Um, melted what?" J.P. was confused by what Zoe had exclaimed.

"Molto buono, it's Italian for delicious. This soup's great!" Once she praised the soup the flower Digimon cheered.

"I must know, what do you call this soup?" Zoe looked at the flower Digimon.

"Clam soup a la Floramon. It's all in the way it's prepared." One of the flower Digimon, Floramon, responded.

"Allow us to demonstrate how we do it." Another Floramon spoke and suddenly fruit appeared in their hands.

"To make it you use your head and a ripe clam fruit." That confused them.

"Oh?" Zoe tilted her head slightly trying to figure out what the Floramon meant.

"Uh, use your head?" J.P.'s question was answered by two petals opening on the Floramon's head and them placing the fruit inside their heads.

"Two, three, four." The Floramon started to dance.

"When you take a little clam fruit and you mix it in your stew, you make the most delicious soup, the flavor's never dull. We shake our heads both up and down and sing this song more tuneful, a little bit of us resides in every yummy spoonful!" The Floramon stopped dancing.

"And...it's ready, enjoy." After that one of the Floramon walks over and refills Zoe's bowl by pouring the soup from her head yet both Zoe and J.P. were disgusted.

"Uh!" J.P. and Zoe stared, not knowing what to say.

"There, it's fresh. Eat up." The Floramon smiled but Zoe waved her hands in the air and J.P. shook his head no.

"Thanks!" Neemon was more than happy to get a refill.

"Delicious!" Bokomon wasn't put off either.

"It's brain food." Floramon's joke fell kind of flat.

Meredith finished the food that she had not caring where it came from since it was really good. She looked at DemiVeemon, who was happily eating the soup, before looking at Zoe. She took a deep breath before letting it out.

"Zoe, do you mind watching DemiVeemon for me?" Zoe looked at her a bit surprised.

"Why? Meredith stood up.

"I just, want to be alone for a while." She left after saying that.

Meredith left the Floramon house after that and headed for the forest. No one followed after her which she was thankful for. She walked a good way into the forest before deciding to settle underneath of a tree.

:Amelia:

The silence the reigned over the air was uneasy, while it wasn't awkward it was easy to feel the tension. Amelia walked with her arms crossed, not caring for any of the thoughts of monsters she had the night before. Koji followed behind her, watching her.

"For once, can we actually talk Amelia?" Koji felt uneasy in the silence.

"No." Amelia's voice was clipped.

'Why is he even following me? I thought he'd jump at the chance to be rid of me.' Amelia glanced over her shoulder at Koji yet he noticed her look.

"Amelia," She stopped when he said her name.

She was going to say something but instead pulls out her D Tector, it had beeped at her. Hoping for another message no matter how cryptic it may be was dashed, there was just some kind of reading.

"Maybe it's a Spirit?" Amelia glanced at Koji and sighed.

"Maybe." She pocketed her D-Tector.

They both looked around but Amelia noticed something, a shoe stuck out from behind a tree. Out of curiosity she walked over to the tree where the shoe was. She found that the shoe wasn't alone, it was attached to Meredith. Meredith was staring at the ground, she seemed to be thinking about something.

"Meredith?" Meredith jumped and looked at Amelia, clearly not having heard her approach.

Meredith opened her mouth to speak but she snapped her mouth closed when Koji appeared. Amelia yelped slightly, not having expected to get pulled by Koji yet it was only so Amelia was hidden by trees from something. Koji didn't spare a look at Meredith.

"Strangers in the village? That's trouble!" A voice came from the direction that Koji was looking in, Meredith and Amelia both looked out from behind a tree now.

"They're human children! They even have a baby with them!" Meredith's eyes went wide.

"The others." She breathed the words and Amelia reached towards a branch before pulling herself up into the tree.

"You think those whiney wallflowers called them into help?" Amelia was careful as she moved around the tree limbs, working her way towards the voices but remaining hidden.

"Amelia." Koji hissed her name as loud as he dared but she didn't go back.

"Who cares?! Nobody can stop the Mushroom Brothers!" Amelia caught sight of the 'Mushroom Brothers', just walking and talking purple toped mushrooms.

"We'll get!" Amelia watched them, the three talking mushroom Digimon started to head in the direction that she and Koji had been wondering towards.

"Humans, Meredith's group perhaps?" When the tree shook slightly Amelia grabbed the branch she was one.

"Amelia!" She looked over her shoulder, Koji had climbed the tree but unlike her he looked uneasy.

"What?" He narrowed his eyes.

"What would you have done had you got caught?! You don't even have a Spirit to fight with!" Amelia shifted her grip on the branch before flipping upside down and dropping to the ground.

"I could've managed somehow on my own I think." Amelia shifted on her feet while Meredith couldn't help but giggle when Koji fell out of the tree.

"Meredith, which direction is your friends?" Amelia looked at Meredith even if she stuck a hand out to Koji.

"Hate to think it but those talking mushrooms probably went to where your friends are." Amelia looked at Koji, slightly surprised that he actually grabbed her hand and let her pull him up.

"I need to warn them." Meredith stood and when she took off in the direction of where her group was Amelia watched her, wanting to go as well.

"Why did you put yourself in danger?" Amelia looked at Koji, there was an odd look in his eye.

:Meredith:

Meredith was running as fast as she could and by the time she reached the village once again all she saw was three talking mushrooms facing against the Floramon with a confused Zoe standing in the middle. The Floramon were all laughing even though the situation wasn't anything to laugh at.

"That is enough!" One of the Mushrooms jumped.

"Mushroom Mash!" What seemed like bombs were thrown, J.P. barely dodged one and it blew up the house that it had hit.

"They're toastin' this place like an English muffin!" J.P. exclaimed before looking at the mushrooms.

"It's over! We've had it with your flower power!" The mushroom on the right said.

"And we're gonna-" The one of the left didn't finish what he was saying but the last one to land did.

"Flatten Breezy Village!" Meredith curled her hands into fists.

'I have to do something!' she reached for her D Tector.

"You know Neemon, I'm not a genius, but I think those Mushroomon Brothers have had their attitudes adjusted for the worse by Cherubimon's evil magic." Bokomon's words barely registered to Meredith, she was freaking slightly because she couldn't find her D Tector.

"Cherubimon? Who is that?" Neemon's question was face palm worthy and Bokomon stepped on his foot and snapped his waistband.

"Here's a snap, don't forget to write!" Bokomon glared at Neemon.

"Sorry I asked!" Neemon pouted.

"Fool! How can someone like Cherubimon ever slip your mind? He's the source of all that's evil in the Digital World!" Neemon pointed instead of responding to Bokomon right away.

"She's starting a parade." Zoe was walking towards the Mushroomon angry, Meredith was left to stare since she couldn't find her D-Tector.

"Hold it!" Zoe was the center of attention suddenly.

"You just stand aside, girly!" Zoe got angry and actually slapped the Mushroomon.

"Hey now! That's my brother, why'd you slap 'em!?" Meredith stared surprised that Zoe had actually slapped one of the Mushroomon.

"You need to learn to get along! Just because you feel like you're getting the short end of the stick doesn't give you the right to just go around destroying things! Try solving things peacefully!" Meredith grinned slightly at Zoe's words while J.P. walked up beside Zoe.

"Yeah now listen up! You toadstool heads can't just go barging in here with your purple mushroom caps 'cause they're plain ugly! Right?" Another face palm worthy moment brought to you by J.P. this time.

"You insulted them, that's totally wrong." J.P.'s shoulders dropped when Zoe rebuked him and the Mushroomon were ticked off.

"You shouldn't have said that! Get him!" J.P. turned to run and as bombs were flung at him he raised his D-Tector hoping for something but he managed to trip.

"J.P.!" When Zoe yelled a pink light came out of the tree and J.P. got up but the light past him and went to Zoe.

"Execute: Spirit Evolution!" Zoe was surrounded by air.

The armor began to appear around her before it fused with her body. After fusing, she dropped down to her platform, spun five times, kicked once and flipped one of her bangs, completing her evolution.

"Kazemon!" She floated in the air and everyone was staring at her.

"She bounded with the Ancient Spirit of Wind, Kazemon!" The Mushroomon didn't care what Bokomon said though and jumped up.

"Bye-bye butterfly!" They threw mushrooms at her but Kazemon only flicked the finger tornadoes that had appeared at them.

"Hurricane Wave!" The attack knocked them back and made them just hit the ground and explode.

"You pesky insect!" The Mushroomon threw more but Kazemon only did a handstand and spun.

"Tempest Twist!" Again the mushrooms were knocked away and exploded after hitting the ground but she also then hit all three of the Mushroomon Brothers.

"She actually fights pretty good." Meredith smiled but then remembered.

"Mama!" Meredith looked at DemiVeemon who had made his way over to her, in his arms he held her D-Tector.

"Where did you get that?" She bent down to take the D Tector from him.

"You dropped it when you left." She gulped, she had wondered off by herself with no means to protect herself – smooth move Meredith.

When there was crashing sounds Meredith looked back only to find that the Mushroomon Brothers were gone and in their place was a walking tree kind of.

"That's Woodmon, a plant Digimon whose Branch Smash attack is one of tremendous strength and his bark is like armor." As Kazemon ran towards him Meredith raised her D-Tector.

"How about a little Love Tap?" Kazemon bumped Woodmon with her hip which caused hearts to appear.

Kazemon then kicked him rapidly but wasn't do anything and he swung at her, sending Kazemon away.

"Execute!" Meredith raised her data covered hand.

"Spirit Evolution!" As Meredith was Spirit Evolving, Kazemon was hit with Woodmon's Branch Bash attack.

"Sakanamon!" Sakanamon raised her hands as J.P. rushed to a once again human Zoe.

"Tempest Whirlpool!" The water surrounded Woodmon, trapping him in the vortex of water.

Sakanamon didn't get a chance to react because Woodmon burst out of the water, seemingly unharmed. Woodmon jumped at Sakanamon and she grabbed DemiVeemon before jumping away.

"That was a refreshing drink!" Sakanamon landed but when Woodmon spun she got hit.

Sakanamon hit the ground and she held tight to DemiVeemon, Woodmon was pounding on her. Sakanamon was in a bind and if she didn't have to protect DemiVeemon there might've been something she could've done. As she felt her losing her evolution she heard something.

"Cut it out!" Woodmon stopped but if Kazemon hadn't hurt Woodmon the rock that had been thrown at it definitely didn't hurt it.

"Amelia!" Sakanamon shouted her name since Woodmon was charging right at her.

"Execute: Spirit Evolution!" Koji who had come out of the forest began his transformation.

"Lobomon!" He kicked Woodmon, sending him crashing to the ground.

"Stop trying to do things you know you can't do Amelia!" Sakanamon was confused while J.P. and Zoe both were surprised because they had noticed it, Lobomon had protected Amelia.

"Lobo Kendo!" Lobomon rushed Woodmon who had gotten up, hit him and actually caused a crack in the bark that was Woodmon.

"Was that a love tap?!" Woodmon was laughing but Lobomon raised his arm, grabbing it.

"Howling Laser!" Woodmon stopped laughing quickly and when the bullet passed through the hole that Lobo Kendo had created cracks spread and he started to break apart.

"Fractal Code: Digitize!" Lobomon scanned the data and once he did that the Mushroomon Brother's appeared, dazed and confused.

"What happened to us?" One of the three asked.

They kept asking questions, trying to orientate their selves while Lobomon stood in front of them, staring at them. Lobomon jumped back away from them, reverting back to Koji during the jump.

"Koji." Zoe sounded surprised to a degree.

"Is that all there is to it? That's it?" J.P. sounded annoyed almost for some reason.

Koji landed on the ground but he dropped to his knees, breathing heavily. Sakanamon also reverts back to human. Meredith stared at Koji for a couple of moments.

"Are you ok?" Meredith's question gets ignored but the screen of Koji's D Tector flashes.

"Huh?" Koji looked at his D-Tector, not knowing what to expect but he pushed a button and suddenly Fractal Code engulfed the ground.

"Fractal Code rendered." The D-Tector spoke and the code spreads across the land making everything lush and green once again which serves to amaze Zoe.

"Breezy Village's fractal code is returning." As Bokomon spoke the Fractal Code made the large tree's leaves and color return.

The Mushroomon Brothers and Floramon were under the leaves of the tree talking, as if nothing had ever happened and all was forgive already.

"We have come up with a juice drink that's great with our mushroom moose." The Mushroomon that was most likely actually the leader of the spoke.

"Sounds delicious." The Floramon responded.

"You can taste test it for us." The Mushroomon made the proposition and the Floramon seemed to be in agreement.

Their conversation was being watched by Koji and as they were talking Zoe walked up to Koji.

"They're all pretty happy thanks to you." Zoe offered Koji a hand as she spoke but he stared at her for a couple of seconds before getting up and starting to walk away.

"You know Koji, you could try being friendly." Zoe gave an annoyed look at Koji and he just kept walking.

"I don't get him, why do I try to like a guy that acts like that?" Despite Zoe's word Meredith made up her mind about saying something.

"Koji, you did a good job!" Meredith called the words out and he did stop.

They didn't know what to expect considering what had transpired between Koji and Meredith earlier on. Koji looked back and muttered something but Zoe couldn't make it out but seemed to surprise Meredith who did hear it.

"Tch, are you coming or not Amelia?" Koji looked away yet for a second there seemed to be a twinge of pink on his cheeks.

"I guess, since you asked so nicely." Amelia caught up and off they went.

It was later on as J.P., Zoe, and Meredith were standing at the edge of the forest when Koji once again invaded her mind.

"I don't care what that Koji thinks, we were a great team." Zoe declared the words and crossed her arms.

"Yeah, we did." Meredith added, agreeing with Zoe.

"We have returned!" Takuya's voice made them turn around, he and Tommy were running towards them.

"You blew it, where were you two?" Zoe looked at them annoyed.

"Uh, that's quite a story, after a while we thought you might need us so we decided to check back in." Takuya smiled and scratched the back of his head as he spoke.

"No, you took a wrong turn and missed a once in a lifetime show." Zoe had her hands on her hips and sounded smug.

"Yeah right, don't try to psyche us out, Zoe. You know we didn't miss a thing." Takuya was confident about that while poor Tommy was still trying to catch his breath.

"Well you didn't get to see me Spirit Evolve." Zoe was proud to say it while that surprised Tommy and Takuya.

"Huh?" Tommy now stared at Zoe instead of being bent over trying to catch his breath.

"Wait, you did what?" Takuya asked, thinking he heard wrong.

"You Spirit Evolved?" Tommy sounded almost awestruck.

"Mm hm." Zoe nodded while Takuya and Tommy looked at each other before laughing.

"Yeah right." Takuya put his arms behind his head once again.

"Like you could!" Tommy was still laughing slightly as he spoke.

"You really thought we'd believe that." Takuya's words were followed by him and Tommy continuing to laugh and Meredith looking angry.

"I've had it with you guys! You run off and then you don't think that a girl like me could spirit evolve, I'll evolve your heads!" Zoe yelled and put them both into headlocks.

"Hey, hey! Okay! Uncle, uncle!" Takuya was suddenly singing a different tune.

"I did it! I spirit evolved!" Zoe stressed it while J.P. stood off to the side and just pouted slightly.

"Takuya... I can spirit evolve, and I'm a girl..." When Takuya looked to Meredith he saw that she looked kinda scary.

That went on for a while but once it calmed down Takuya and Meredith ended up going off alone together.

"So how was your 'adventure'?" Meredith giggled.

"Well if what Zoe says is true..." Takuya sighed. "Then it was a pain in the neck, well a pain in my feet really." Takuya chuckled. "My feet are killing me!"

"See, you are not always right." Meredith pointed out. "You went the wrong way!"

"Ouch, my pride." Takuya fake gasped as he started to sit down on the hill they were on. The hill was green with fresh digital grass that smelt like dew. It overlooked the treehouse that the flower and mushroom Digimon were laughing and giggling in.

"Your pride better hurt." Meredith said punching Takuya slightly as she joined him sitting down on the beautiful hill top.

As Takuya and Meredith sat on the hill staring at the sky the sun started to set.

"How long has it been since we watched the sun set?" Meredith asked, looking for the first star that would appear.

"I don't know." Takuya glanced at the redhead but she was still staring at the sky.

"Takuya look!" Meredith pointed towards the sky once she saw the first star of the night.

"Huh?" Takuya looked to the sky, the sight was actually breathtaking really.

The sky seemed to have opened up. The clouds that had previously blocked the sky had gone away. The stars were quickly dotting the sky forming constellations that were far from familiar to them. They stared, watching as stars formed a story that they didn't know, certainly there were myths behind the star constellations there like there were back at home.

"Is it just me, or are there three moons?" Takuya asked it when he finally noticed the three moons that hung in the sky.

"No, there are three moons." Meredith smiled, staring at the sky while Takuya glanced at her.

Meredith had leaned back, using her hands to keep her up since she leaned back to stare up at the sky better.

"It's breathtaking, even unfamiliar it's familiar. Watching this sight with you though, it makes me feel like I'm at home." Takuya looked away at those words from Meredith, his cheeks tinted pink.

I see those two are getting along. But poor JP and Amelia. It's tough being the last ones picked, but I bet they won't have long to wait on Digimon: Digital Monsters!
