Emiya Shirou and Emiya Shirou.

Never once they thought this very odd circumstance would have happened, but it was clear both were the same person and yet not. In fact, after a bit of a heated exchange and questioning with things only the 'real' Shirou would know, they knew that it was real and it was... confusing. As their lives had taken drastic deviations from one another.

One was an orphan a lone Kiritsugu took care of until he died of an unknown sickness, the other was still living with his adoptive parents and had an older sister. One was quite the loner, the other was someone that was 'never left alone'. They still reputed themselves as guys 'trying to do the good thing', but where the 'Solo Shirou' was driven by the dream of becoming a hero, the other Shirou was driven by the dream of being a good person and doing his best to make the world a better place.

One believed that the world could be saved with his strengths alone, one was approached by the harsh reality that it wasn't going to change by him, but that eventually someone was going to do it after others had made their part and made that change possible.

To the 'Solo Shirou', this was absurd. To Saber, however, it was only convenient out of the fast the rice-making process could now be doubled. Jokes aside, Artoria was a bit surprised of this event too, but she quickly recognized this was someone that shared her Master's energy- heck, upon closer inspection, she was almost tempted to say Shirou 'projected' himself and created a clone.

But the truth was a bit more complicated than just that- or rather, no one knew what happened.

After a few hours of handling this new Shirou, then it became clear that other 'clones' existed of other individuals the 'original' Shirou to this world was familiar with. Shinji and Sakura for a thing, but also the Master of Beserker who he had met before the beginning of the Holy Grail War.

They all rallied, and the contrast between the 'originals' and the 'outworlders' was evident. Starting with Shinji, this 'Joji Joestar' was as much of a shocking development from what he was accustomed to the prideful Matou as more pleasant since the 'blond' was open and social about his interactions. To the 'second' Shirou, this was a normality with his 'cousin'.

Next up was Illyasvel von Einzbern, someone that was Kiritsugu's first daughter and, thus, his 'older' sister. When both Shirous were presented with the 'greatly reduced' but 'extremely embittered' Illya, they were confused on why she was so 'small'. Illya-nee was quick to elaborate on this topic.

"The body little Illya has is one that can't age as it has been turned into the final homunculus version of the Justeaze Model. In simple terms, its more of a shell than a proper body," The young woman explained, then smiling widely. "But I will personally fix that for her by hiring someone that helped up with Mama when she needed a proper body!"

That didn't sound pleasant, but it wasn't something that really upsetted Shirou as much as little Illya being more interested in staring at... his Kohai. Two Sakuras- none of which looked anywhere similar to one another. Both Shirou could make a case that this was true for Shinji and Joji, but some core traits still existed to connect both guys- the same just couldn't be said about Sakura Matou and Sakura Kujo.

One was the sweet and soft-spoken Kohai, the other was the tomboyish and stern-looking... 'senpai'. Because, while both were younger than the two Shirous, the Kujo one was far more 'experienced and... beautiful'. To 'original Shirou' the reason why he found this other Sakura slightly more attractive was because she combined two things that would always intrigue him: Sakura's lovely face with Rin's blue eyes and black-hair.

The combination stirred in him a sense of interest he never felt before towards a girl. The reasoning behind this particular change was something tied to Sakura having been 'blood-adopted' to the Matou and thus not originally having purple hair and violet eyes, combined with the fact that Kujo Sakura did something in the past to 'become the daughter of her current father'.

The name Kujo Jotaro raised no awareness to Shirou, but the others mentioned how they couldn't just find him. Same for Kiritsugu and Irisviel, Illya's mother, Jolyne Kujo and Shizuka Joestar. All in all, it was like they just weren't there for some reason.

Still, that wasn't what really troubled the 'future Hero of Justice'. Perhaps he was looking too deep into him, but his other version was clearly 'smitten' to this other Sakura. Not only him, but also the older-looking Illya. And from this comparison to how little Illya was staring at his Kohai, Shirou had good enough reasons to be vigilant over his 'big sister' and the actions she was willing to go through towards his plum-haired friend. He had a duty to protect her after all... even though the girl was the Master of Rider.

Likewise, little Illya was the Master of Berserker, which made any circumstance of holding his ground against her with Saber very... troubled. In that regard, the original Shirou waited for the one individual he knew she could rely with and... Rin did arrive, but not in a good shape. Archer was the one carrying her, the white-haired tan-skinned man was far from in prime shape too, his arms burned up, his hair disheveled in a way that reminded him of... him?

Right as they reached the living room so that Rin could be treated, the Servant spared a look to the room, then at the two Shirous and then... collapsed. Maybe the stress got to him after being treated to a real issue- but the issue itself was something that had hunted them down to this very house as they all could feel something intense waited outside the front door. Their Servants were quite stunned by this feeling, but that didn't stop them from going and checking there.

They all stepped outside while Illya's maids took care of the unconscious Rin, but they found nothing and nobody outside- all but one found out that it wasn't the case.

"Rin?" The dark-haired Sakura mumbled, glancing up at the lamp post where the source of her recognition was currently perched at.

Rin Tohsaka, another one, but this version of her felt dangerous at a quick glance. The original Shirou was not unfamiliar with the girl's own wrath, but this time he felt there was no aggressive lashout within reach- but outright deadliness as this version of Rin cared not for those she was currently looked at.

"I didn't expect to find you here too," The cold-faced Tohsaka replied. "Sakura."

A blink and then a loud screech ruptured in the air as something powerful slammed within proximity and saw Sakura and Rin both sent flying quite far from them as some humanoid beings manifested in front of them before exchanging punches.

What?!

The First of many clashes between Rin and Sakura begins! The World(?) vs. One Vision: Absolute!

Also, using this chance to drop in a bit of an important news, I have started an original story called The Kobold Emperor. It's available on Royal Road and Questionable Questing, and it involve a High Fantasy setting, an Insert (not SI tho), some debauchery, lots of lore such as maps, history of countries and even an outright timeline I am currently building- all of which is quite original despite people assuming I am copying from Re:Monster and similar franchise with similar topics.
