Irritation and regret.
Two feelings that the spirit known as Kira Yoshikage had learned to appreciate within his aimless life as a ghost.

The first one, was maybe one thing that he had no choice to adapt to, while the latter was one of a lack of commitment to outlast said irritation and turning it into something positive. Said irritation being the one girl known as Tohsaka Rin and her foolish idea of subverting the rules of the spiritual world with her plans.
When he first met the girl, he thought she would have given him purpose. As a dead man with no recollection of his past and quite an awful grasp of reality, the child sounded like his best bet and, for a few years, that was the case. Then something started to happen with Rin, a revelation of cruel nature that somewhat irked Yoshikage beyond relief. The girl was... plotting something big, something nefarious.
Had it been something that didn't endanger his job and his chances to find the truth of his existence, the spirit would have let her be- but she outright took steps to fragment reality with her recent actions and he knew he had failed to stop her while breaking free of his containment chamber when he found his essence suddenly pulled out of the current existence and into a different one.
A moment he was struggling against the magical binding that Rin had cleverly put him against to prevent his efforts to stop her plans and... the next one he was floating over the empty spot of a small boat, the other passenger being a seemingly normal young sailor with dark hair and blue eyes- the only issue in that description was the name of individual.
Kira-Joestar Yoshikage.

That was like his name, yet the alteration was more of a quick-decision out of the notion they both shared the same name and... perhaps more. The ghost was no expert in social situation, but he could feel with ease when he was being mirrored in appearance, personality and mannerism to an intense extent. It was shocking, but not enough to draw fear out of him-
In fact, this circumstance only made him even more curious.
"So, this girl you said was called Rin is behind all of this, right?" The sailor inquired, trying to deduce on why he just 'suddenly woke up in a boat with a ghost'. "And we are not in Morioh Town but... Fuyuki City?"
"From what I was able to deduce, Rin managed to crack reality within the city in a way that connected all potential versions of the city and forced all characters with spiritual connections to met their counterparts," Kira remarked. "I didn't expect this to extend to dead men."
"Hm? How did you even die?" The sailor pressed on, clearly intrigued by this topic too. "Don't tell me you don't even know that?"
"I am afraid it is the case," The Ghost confessed without hesitation. "Yet, out of all questions I have of my past, how I died is... not something I wish to discern."
"Why so?" The younger Kira had started to get the boat moving, the mist around growing denser as they approached what looked to be land on the horizon. "Perhaps something lingers in your mind?"
"Feelings- yes, I would say that's one way to put it. I know that it was violent, enough that my mind is blank on most of it."
"...Do you think you deserved it?"
That question came out of the blue considering the calm interrogation, but the ghost looked away to ponder about it.
"I would say that I am not exactly a... good person. I tend to get violent very fast."
"So do I," The sailor agreed with a nod. "Many told me that I can be quite the... troublesome pest. But I have my reasons to despite idiots for being so whiny of simple pains."
"It sounds to me like you have... reasons. Something to keep on the right path as many would call it."
"Family. Nothing I am willing to share with you just yet."
Ghost Kira nodded slowly but didn't push it any further as he could discern the reasons for this silence on his own by thinking on why 'he' wouldn't do it. Had the dead man been put in that spot, perhaps he would have gotten defensive himself- all because the concept of revealing the full truth to someone like him felt like a dangerous step in the wrong direction.
And, truth be told, he hadn't been honest himself.
Sure, he didn't know his full past, but he could agree with the statement that he was born evil. Pucci had played the devil by promising what he craved but gave him close to nothing- in fact, the discovery of his own malicious nature felt less of a good revelation and more of a stab in the chest.
Kira Yoshikage was... a bad man. He had killed people and the priestess he had relied to from time to time had been right- he was a monster ready to come out from retirement the moment the truth went to him and... it terrified him somehow.
After all, if his plan was to seek a peaceful life and the way he lived now, without involving himself in the lingering need to exert violence was the closest thing to that. Would he lose peace by retaining his true self? What made him die to the point of hating reverting to his past colors?
The existence of Kira Yoshikage was, after all, one of Irritation and Regret after all.
His musing ceased as soon as he perceived the boat stopping in its quiet lulling, noticing that they arrived to the docks and... that the world all around was quiet.
Dead- no, it was worse. This was a desolate silence that made no sense to Yoshikage as he and his counterpart ventured into this odd version of Fuyuki. As his senses spread beyond the docks, Yoshikage could tell that his early suspicions were correct.
"It's a dead city."
AN
Another Fuyuki, another group of characters tagging along to solve this mess and face Rin.
This version of Fuyuki is a 'What If' scenario of what could have gone wrong in the Fourth Holy Grail War. And it will become clearer on what it is all about by the next main story chapter.
