Storybrooke. The mansion at 108 Mifflin Street
The front door opened and Roland came in with Dr. Whale. Regina and Henry uncoupled their embrace.
— Where is the patient? — Dr. Whale asked.
Regina pointed to the sofa, and Dr. Whale, coming over, immediately began to inspect.
— He has hypothermia! — the doctor said some time later. — He needs to be rushed to the hospital. What a familiar face…
— This is my father, — Roland stepped into the room inaudibly, — Robin Hood.
— Roland,— Regina turned to him, — would really like it to be your father, but we both know that this is impossible.
— Did you hear me? He needs to go to the hospital urgently! — Dr. Whale reminded of himself.
— Yes, of course! — Regina waved her hand, and the doctor and the patient disappeared from the living room.
— I think I'd better leave too,— Roland turned to leave.
— Not so soon, my young friend,— Henry said. — We need to talk. About my daughter.
— Henry! — Regina protested in a loud whisper.
— It's okay, Aunt Regina. In his place, I would also behave like this,— the guy smiled and turned to her son. — Henry, sir. Look, she's like a sister to me. There is no romantic relationship between us. If it's any consolation, we haven't even kissed once. I walked her home a couple of times, and she kissed me on the cheek a couple of times. That's all. And while she's in love, let it be me, rather than someone who wants to take advantage of the situation. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to the hospital, I want to be with my father when he wakes up.
— Roland, — Regina looked at the guy, — what makes you think it's your father? Most likely it's Robin from the Desire World.
— No. That one has a different look. More daring and uncompromising. And then you can always check it out: it's enough to talk to the Evil Queen.
— He grew up to be a good man and not stupid,— Henry said after he left. — Despite the fact that he grew up without a father.
— You also grew up without a father,— Regina retorted, — and you also grew up to be a good person.
— I had two loving mothers,— Henry replied.
— Oh, fox! — Regina squinted and kissed her son on the forehead, as in childhood. — Come on, I will reconcile you with your daughter.
Storybrooke. Mr. Gold's antique shop.
At the door, Mr. Gold suddenly stopped and looked at Belle.
— Listen, I want to warn you: magic is a dangerous thing. It is very addictive, and at times you can no longer distinguish between evil and good. Bay once grabbed a dagger and... tasted the darkness. I don't want that to happen to you.
— Calm down, Rumpel. I'm not a little boy, and you're not Dark One anymore, — Belle replied, lightly touched the door and opened it.
Rumpel suddenly gasped and leaned against the wall to keep from falling. Belle rushed to him.
— Rumpel, what's with you? — she asked.
— I think that's what Zeus warned about. My leg is hurting, I need a cane,— Mr. Gold said.
— Let's go in and look there,— Belle replied.
She helped her husband in, and they went to the back room — a room behind a curtain. There Mr. Gold immediately sat down, rubbing his leg. Belle quickly found a cane and handed it to her husband. Mr. Gold took the cane and put both hands on it.
— Where do we start? — Belle looked around the room.
— From the conversation,— Mr. Gold smiled. — I see something is bothering you?
He patted the sofa, inviting his wife to sit down. Belle sat down next to him and rested her head on his shoulder.
— I keep thinking: how could the Evil Queen give birth? — Belle asked. — You told Regina you figured it out.
- Of course. I had a small supply of water from Lake Nostos. I brought some water from the River of Lost Souls, do you think it would have not occurred to me to stock up on water from the lake? I think she found it and drank it.
— Rumpel, you're like always, — Belle sighed and raised her head. — Wait! And what does the "thread" have to do with it? I didn't understand. And how does this relate to childbirth?
— It's simple,— Mr. Gold smiled again. — If the Evil Queen drank the "living water" and gave birth before she cut the "thread", then the power of the "water" affected both of them. Do you understand?
— I understand, — Henry appeared in the room.
— Henry! What are you doing here? — Mr. Gold was surprised.
— I was passing by and noticed the door was open,— Henry replied. — I came in, heard voices, decided to check. Have you thought about the holiday? Him will start soon.
— No, deary, I can't. I don't have time for this. At all. Say hi to your mother, and we still have a lot to do.
Henry looked at Belle for support, but she shook her head.
— Henry, he's right. We didn't come for a holiday. We really don't have time for this.
Storybrooke. A holiday for Valentine's Day.
Alex wrapped the scarf around the lower part of her face again and went outside. In some places there were passers-by with balloons in the form of hearts. Here the couple overtook Alex, and the young girl heard part of their conversation.
...do you think the Queen will be there? — the girl asked her boyfriend. — Will we see her?
— Of course it will, — the guy answered her, — she opens the holiday. If we hurry, we'll see…
Alex first stood rooted to the spot, realizing what she had heard, and then hurried after the couple. Because Sidney was saying something about either the mayor or the queen. So, moving at a short distance, but not losing sight of the couple, Alex came to the local square. There really were a lot of tents with food and various attractions around. It was as if Alex had fallen into some strange world: here modern force meters were combined with ancient targets. People dressed in a modern way with people in knight's armor. In the center there was a small platform with a podium, a man in a crown climbed on it and said:
— Ladies and gentlemen! Residents of the city of Storybrooke and guests from other kingdoms. Today we have gathered to have a fun holiday: Valentine's Day. The honor of opening it is given to our Queen, the Queen of the United Worlds — Regina Mills!
Alex stood and looked at the podium. Her heart was racing.
"I'm see her now! Really?" Thoughts scattered and confused in her head. "My God! Mom..."
An attractive, statuesque woman rose to the podium, in her beautifully styled hair there was a glint of gray in some places. The woman smiled radiantly.
— Thank you, David,— she said. — My beloved subjects, hello!
The crowd in the square greeted the woman with a roar of approval. A woman from the podium was saying something, people in the crowd were shouting something. Alex listened, but she didn't hear anything except her loud pounding heart. She was staring with all her eyes at the woman standing on the podium, and suddenly the light went out.
Regina finished her speech and noticed some movement in the crowd. The woman turned to David.
— Something happened there, I'll go find out.
She went downstairs and walked over to where people were crowding. A girl was lying on the ground, the lower part of her face was wrapped in a scarf.
— What happened here? — Regina asked.
The people standing around just shrugged their shoulders and discussed in a low voice what could have happened to the young girl.
— She stood and listened, then suddenly fell.
— Maybe she's frozen.
— Or maybe fainting.
— So! I think she needs medical help,— Regina said and turned to the people standing next to her. — Please celebrate. It's just a little misunderstanding. Now, excuse us.
David was already rushing to help, but he only heard her words and saw Regina crouch down next to the young girl. Taking the lying young girl by the hands, Regina disappeared with her in a puff of lilac smoke.
Storybrooke. The hotel "Granny's".
Ruby and Dorothy left the room and went to the exit. Suddenly Ruby stopped at the number with the number eight and sniffed.
— What? — Dorothy asked.
— Such a familiar smell. How do I know him? — Ruby muttered.
— What happened? — Dorothy asked again.
— No, nothing, — Ruby shook her head slightly, pushing away the smell. — It just seemed.
Passing by the fourth room, she again heard a familiar smell and stopped.
— Yeah,— Ruby said. — Rumplestiltskin. And what does he have to do with it?
Dorothy walked around Ruby and stood in front of her.
— Honey, you're scaring me. What's the matter? — she said.
— I have to talk to him! — Ruby answered, looking exactly into her wife's eyes.
— With whom? — asked Dorothy.
— With a Dark One! — Ruby replied.
— He's kind of dead, isn't he?— Dorothy said, puzzled.
— Not really,— Ruby smiled.
She took another deep breath near the fourth room and went where the smell led her.
— You promised me a surprise! — Dorothy called after her.
Ruby didn't hear her, she just felt smell Mr. Gold and followed this smell. Soon she came to the antique shop.
Storybrooke. Mr. Gold's antique shop.
Mr. Gold looked at the map and looked at his wife. The powder burned a dot on the map — exactly under the dot was written Storybrooke.
— Are you sure you read the spell correctly? Magic is not easy.
— I'm sure! — Belle frowned. — I don't understand anything…
— Hey! Is there anyone here? — they heard.
Mr. Gold came out of the back room, leaning on a cane, followed by Belle.
— Hi, Ruby, — Mr. Gold said. — You're at a bad time, Belle and I are a little busy.
Ruby stared at the cane and tilted her head slightly to one side.
— Ha, — she said, — a cane.
— My cane, I have several of them. Why does that surprise you?
— I saw one. Quite recently, and her was very similar to this one,— Ruby poked her finger at Mr. Gold's cane.
— Where? — asked Mr. Gold.
— At the hotel, at one of the newcomers, — Ruby pointed behind her. — She recently arrived… Why are you looking at me like that?
Mr. Gold and Belle exchanged glances. Rumple walked up to Ruby and grabbed her hand tightly.
— What room does she live in? — he asked menacingly.
— In the eighth. Oh,— the young woman grimaced, — you're hurting me!
— I'm sorry! — He released her hand. — I'm sorry. I need to talk to her. Where is she now?
— I don't know, I invited her to a holiday. Maybe she's there?
Mr. Gold and Belle exchanged glances again.
Storybrooke. Hospital.
— Mom, what happened? — Henry stopped near the ward. — Grandfather told me you're in the hospital.
— I'm fine,— Regina smiled. — One young girl got sick. I'm waiting for Dr. Whale to let me talk to her. How are yours? How's Ella?
— It's fine. Lucy's with her, — Henry paused.— Have you been ... Robin's?
— Yes, Roland is sitting there, but Robin hasn't woken up yet. He was covered with thermal blankets. Doctors are waiting for it to warm up.
— That is, how he got here is still unknown? — Henry summed up.
— Unknown,— Regina confirmed.
— What do you think? — Henry asked.
Regina didn't have time to answer because Dr. Whale came out. He frowned a little, and then nodded to Regina to come in, and walked away at a brisk pace.
The woman entered the ward and stared at the young girl. She was lying with her eyes closed.
— Mom, she looks a lot like you,— whispered a surprised Henry, who stepped after her.
Regina sat down on the bed and took the young girl's hand, she immediately opened her eyes. The young girl's eyes suddenly reflected fright mixed with curiosity.
—Don't be afraid,— Regina smiled and noted to herself that her eyes were also brown. — What's your name?
— Mmm ... — said the young girl and breathed quickly. — Ma...
— Maria? — Regina suggested and patted her on the head. — Don't worry, you're in the hospital, safe. Speak.
— Can we talk in private?— The young girl shot a glance in Henry's direction.
— Of course. Henry, come out,— she called over her shoulder.
— I just ...— Henry began.
— I. Say. Come. Out,— Regina said, mincing every word.
Henry sighed and left. He didn't want to go to the holiday — he wasn't in the mood, and him beloved was at home, with a slight indisposition.
Storybrooke. The mansion at 108 Mifflin Street.
Henry entered and noticed his daughter sitting on the sofa, the girl was holding a book in her hands. His book, with which it all started one day. That's what it said on it: "Once upon a time".
— Luce,— Henry smiled and sat down next to his daughter. — Where did you get it? Let me see. I thought she'd been missing for a long time.
— I was sorting things in the closet and found her, — the girl shrugged her shoulders.
— Come on? — Henry was surprised. — Just like then…
— When did Snow White find her? For you? — Lucy asked.
— Yes, — Henry thoughtfully leafed through the book and suddenly caught his eye on the picture. — Exactly! How could I not have guessed right away. She appears exactly when you need it! Luce, I need to go to Grandma. To Snow White.
He jumped up from the sofa and even took a couple of steps towards the hallway, but lilac smoke swirled there. After it dissipated, the Evil Queen was left standing in the hallway.
— Hi, son. Are you going far? — she said.
— Grandma Regina? — Lucy asked.
— No, it's her 'other half,' — Henry replied, the Evil Queen. Mom calls her Gina.
— Oh,— Lucy said. — And how do you distinguish them?
— That's rude! — Gina said. — I'm here! This is the first. Second, where is your mother? I need to talk to her!
— She's in the hospital, — Henry said.— Is something happened?
— Yes, happened! — Gina exclaimed. — I told Robin everything and he... he left! I have no idea where he went.
Henry and Lucy exchanged glances.
