Alrighty you guys. Here we have chapter 12! Last time, I had combined "One Shall Rise parts 2 and 3" together into into one chapter, but this one turned out to be long enough to stand alone as a chapter. Just a forewarning, some of these scenes are just recap from the actual show, like verbatim, so thats a thing. I just didn't know quite how to do it any other way. Other than that, I hope that you enjoy it. Also, I have some footnotes at the end of that chapter that you might want to pay attention to. They are numbered throughout the chapter to make it easier to find them.
Please note: I do not own Transformers. I do, however, have my own OC's which I have inserted into the story. My OC's include Reese Shields and Chase Sanders. Electra belongs to my sister.
A Plan of Action
The events of this chapter correspond to the episode "One Shall Rise Part 2"
While Optimus was out investigating the epicenters of the tremors, Reese took advantage of the fact that Ratchet had a little free time. He wasn't doing much, other than bridging Optimus to and from the different locations, so now seemed as good a time as any to pick his processor about a topic that had puzzled Reese for a while.
"Hey Ratchet, can I unhook this IV now?"
"I suppose, seeing how you are doing better." Ratchet conceeded. "Do you need help with it?"
"Maybe..."
"Here I can take it out," June offered, walking over to the girl. Reese instinctively stiffened a little as the nurse gently removed the IV. She could help but feel a little bitter about the comment that June had made earlier, but seeing that June was actually being kind and helpful, Reese knew that she should at lease be polite.
"Thanks Nurse Darby," She said quietly, avoiding eye contact. June seemed a little uncomfortable as well and excused herself as soon as she was done removing the IV.
Now that Reese was free to move around, she made her way over to Ratchet. "So, um, can I ask you something?"
"I suppose," Ratchet replied, though he didn't actually look at Reese when he spoke.
"So, I was reading through some of these data pads on Cybertronian biology, but there was one section that it was not super informative on. How exactly do you get new Cybertronians?"
"This is awfully out of the blue, Reese. What prompted you to bring it up?"
"I guess I just wanted to know how new Cybertronians were made, so that I could better understand my own techno-organic nature. I mean, it doesn't seem likely that my grandparents made a semi-Cybertronian baby by conventional means…"
"This is true. I have been studying human anatomy and physiology in my spare moments. I don't want to ever feel as helpless as I did when Rafael was hurt. You are right, though, it is impossible for a human and a Cybertronian to create offspring via the human method of reproduction."
"So how are Cybertronian babies made?"
"Well, it is a much less intimate process than humans (1). On Cybertron, before the AllSpark was sent off world, when two Cybertronians wanted to have a sparkling, they would request a protoform. These protoforms were generic forms containing all the cybermatter needed to create a new Cybertronian. Of course, the cybermatter didn't come together to form all the components of a Cybertronian until it had been infused with a spark.
Once the parents had been screened and approved for a sparkling, they would receive the protoform, and would then take it to the well of AllSparks where it would be infused with a spark and become a living being," Ratchet explained.
"Fascinating! It makes me wonder, though, do you have twins on Cybertron?"
"We do, though they are extremely rare. In the case that a spark splits, the cybermatter that comprises the protoform will accommodate for two sparks, creating two smaller cybertronian sparklings, as opposed to one normal sized one."
"What about triplets?"
"The only case ever documented of a tri-split spark had unfavorable effects. There wasn't enough cybermatter in the protoform to accommodate three sparks, so all three sparks went into one form, creating a Cybertronian with three personalities that constantly competed for dominance (2)."
"Oh… that is unfortunate."
"Indeed, but thankfully, that was the only case of a tri-split spark that we have had. They are so rare that the chances of it happening are infinitesimal."
"So, this makes me wonder. Is it possible to create a Cybertronian without a spark? Like, what if the parents weren't able to get their protoform to the well before it was sent off world? Would those protoforms ever become Cybertronians?"
"I don't see how, unless the parents infused part of their own sparks with the protoform."
"Do you think that maybe my grandfather had a protoform? Could that be how he and my grandmother were able to have a baby that was half human half Cybertronian?"
"It would be a plausible explanation, but I am not sure how a protoform would have ended up on Earth in the first place. "
"I wish my dad was still alive so I could ask him… I wish he hadn't kept this a secret."
"Well, there is no changing the past, but perhaps, after we figure out how to save your planet from Unicron, I might can see about making contact with BlueStreak. It would take a lot of digging around in old data archives, but I might be able to find the frequency for his secure channel."
"That would be great! Then, maybe, I could get some answers!"
"I said maybe, there is no guarantee that I will even be able to make contact with him. But, I will try."
"That's all I can ask for, is that you try. Thank you," Reese beamed at the thought that she might get to see her grandfather again. Though, it had been so many years… Would he still recognize and remember her?
Optimus ran his servo along the rock wall of the canyon he had been investigating, noting that it was rich in ore deposits, same as the other locations he had visited. Finding that this was one of the common denominators of all the epicenters, he decided it would be good to call and update Ratchet.
"Ratchet, this epicenter is the same as the others, it is rich in ore. I think it would be safe to assume that these ore deposits are at least partially comprised of dark energon, and that is how Unicron is able to affect the earth around them."
"That would make sense."
Optimus opened his mouth to say something in return, but his attention was drawn to some of the rocks vibrating. Could it be another tremor?
The vibrating rocks began to move in the direction of one of the canyon walls, and in the wall, a face appeared from the rock.
"Do you know me, follower of Primus?" The face asked menacingly.
"You are Unicron, the Chaos Bringer," Optimus answered, falling into a battle stance.
"Good," the face smiled evilly, and then, much to the Prime's surprise, the rock wall gave way as a stone form emerged from it, a form in the shape of Unicron!
Optimus instinctively stepped back as the form towered above him and bellowed, "Now know me as Unicron your Destroyer!".
With that, Unicron's stone manifestation ran towards Optimus and swung his large, spiked, bludgeon-like servo. Optimus activated his swords, raising them above his helm defensively, as he blocked the coming blow from Unicron.
Unicron continued to throw blow after blow, knocking Optimus back each time he swung his mighty weapons. He raised his stone bludgeon again but held back for a moment as the Prime deactivated his swords and held his servos up placatingly.
"I humbly request your ear, Lord Unicron."
"And what would a Prime, like yourself, be so compelled to say to me?"
"I make this appeal, not for myself, but for this planet, within which you reside. There are living beings on this planet. Humankind relies upon this planet, and thus, in a sense, they rely upon you. You are what gives their planet's core structure. These beings rely upon your very greatness for their survival, and thus, would die if you were to fully be resurrected." Optimus looked up into Unicron's purple eyes with sincerity. He hoped that perhaps, if he made Unicron feel like he was in control of the planet, then maybe he would allow it to continue on in peace. Sure, it was a long shot, but it was worth a try.
"Parasites! These humans, as you call them, have taken up residence on this world, which I have been unfortunate as to find myself trapped inside. I will destroy them, just as I will destroy this earthen prison! They will feel my wrathful hand, as soon as I am finished with you!" Unicron then lunged towards Optimus, once more. He transformed his bludgeon and spiked weapons into actual servos, servos which conducted dark energon infused electricity, which he channeled directly at Optimus.
Optimus was flung backwards, trembling as the dark electricity coursed through his frame and back to the ground.
"The line of Primes has grown weak in my absence, and thus you shall fall!"
"That outcome is inevitable, but not on this day!" Optimus pulled himself to his feet and transformed his servos into blasters. He peppered the stone manifestation with blaster fire, watching as it crumbled back into a mound of rocks.
The fight was far from over, however, as more stone manifestations began climbing out of the canyon walls around Optimus. In a matter of seconds, the Prime found himself completely surrounded.
"Optimus, have you found anymore evidence of Unicron's reawakening?" Ratchet queried over the comm link.
"On this very day, you shall fall," the golems (3) that surrounded Optimus said in unison, "for Unicron may be one, but we are all Unicron. Unicron is power incarnate, and you, the last of the Primes, shall perish!" The golem's voices came through, clear as day, over the open channel.
"I take that as a yes. We are on our way!" Ratchet assured his leader, preparing to reopen the ground bridge so the others could go through.
"Negative," Optimus' voice came over the comm, stopping all the bots in their tracks. "Unicron cannot be defeated through sheer force alone. He is after me, Ratchet, and thus, I must be the one to destroy him. This is my fight, and my fight alone."
"Optimus! Don't talk like that! Even you can't survive against a hoard of Unicron manifestations! Besides, didn't you say that he is located in the core of the earth? Will destroying these golems even do anything against him?" Reese leaned over the railing of the metal platform, where she stood. She couldn't just let Optimus waltz right into his own destruction! She had begun to see him like more than just a leader, but a father. Not just to her, but to everyone on the team. She had already lost her biological father, she couldn't bear the idea of losing Optimus, too.
It seemed that her words had fallen on deaf audial receptors, however, as no response came from the Prime, other than blaster fire and the sound of oncoming Unicron manifestations.
"Are we just going to let him take this fight alone?" She stared at the others in bewilderment.
"No, we aren't," Ratchet ran toward the ground bridge controls and plugged in Optimus' current position. "Autobots, prepare to roll out!"
On the other side, Optimus shot down golem after golem, but with each one he destroyed, two more came to take its place. It was like trying to fight a hydra (4).
Pretty soon, He found himself pinned against a wall, surrounded by golems that held him down. One of the golems then walked up to him and raised its bludgeon to finish him off, but at the last moment was blasted into a pile of debris.
Optimus looked up to see an open ground bridge, and his team racing to his aid. They valiantly battled the manifestations until all the ones in the immediate vicinity had been reduced to rubble.
"Did Ratchet not relay my commands? Return to base!"
"Optimus, you're the one they are after, if anyone should be returning to base, it should be you," Arcee countered.
"These manifestations of Unicron can find me wherever I may go on this planet. Even the shielding at our base would only be able to cloak my position for so long. I will not put others at risk."
"If you refuse to return to base, then fall back and let us take the lead," Bulkhead pleaded with Optimus. "Just this once."
"Please Optimus, listen to reason. If you don't survive, then neither will this planet," Ratchet provided support to Bulkhead's plea.
Optimus seemed to consider Ratchet's words, and finally, he conceded. "Very well," He vented as he fell back, behind his soldiers.
The team rushed forward, taking out any and all golems that got in their way. They weren't sure where they were going, but forward seemed to be their best and only option.
They fought their way forward until they found an exit out of the canyon. They all transformed, racing towards the exit. The sooner they got out into an open area, the better. That way, they couldn't be ambushed from above, and they would have more room to fight.
As they raced into the open canyon area, a massive Unicron emerged from one of the nearby canyon plateaus. This one dwarfed all the other manifestations. If one of the autobots found themselves underfoot, they would be crushed immediately.
"is that him? The real Unicron?" Bumblebee whirred anxiously, marveling at its sheer size.
"No, it is merely another one of his manifestations," Optimus explained.
"Well, if we can't defeat Unicron, and we can't outrun him, then what are we supposed to do?" Bulkhead looked at his leader defeatedly.
"All we can do. We must neutralize his vessels as they appear, until we find a way to destroy him without destroying the very earth upon which we walk."
The team readied themselves, prepared to take on the massive golem that stood before them. They dodged and weaved between its massive legs, peppering it with blaster fire when they got the chance, but their blasters had little effect on it.
One by one the team found themselves smacked aside and left in the dust. Optimus, now separated from the rest of his team, became and easy target. The golem used its massive stone bludgeon to fling mounds of boulders at Optimus, trapping him beneath their sheer magnitude and number.
It was at this time that the golem spoke, declaring words of victory. "I am this world's past and its future, and as of this moment, all primes are simply past."
Optimus watched helplessly from beneath the rubble as the golem's massive ped slowly came down, ready to crush him into oblivion, but before it could, mysterious blaster fire came out of nowhere, destroying the head of the golem and causing it to crumble back into the unanimated rock from which it was formed, leaving behind a cloud of dust.
Once the dust settled, the team looked around, wondering where the mysterious blaster fire had come from. Much to their surprise, they found Megatron standing atop the pile of rubble that had once been Unicron's golem.
"Megatron!?" the autobots exclaimed in unison.
"Megatron has aligned himself with Unicron, what would he be doing there?" Ratchet spat through the comm link.
"I wouldn't be so sure about that. Megatron just saved Optimus' tailpipe," Arcee informed the medic.
The team watched warily, targeting their blasters on the warlord, as he walked over and helped Optimus out of the pile of rubble.
"This is all very ironic, given our last encounter. If my memory serves me correctly, the last time we met, you were desperately trying to extinguish my spark."
"That option remains very much in play," Optimus walked up to the Warlord, glaring deeply into his purple optics.
"I would expect nothing less, however, I have a proposal to make. One that would benefit both of us. Join me in defeating our shared enemy, Unicron."
Everyone looked at the warlord with skepticism, and a loud scoff from Ratchet came through over the comm link.
"HA, absurd! Unicron is evil incarnate. If Megatron was to take any side, why would he choose ours?"
"Because Megatron's pride would not allow anyone, other than himself, to rule this planet," Optimus answered, seeing right through Megatron's motives.
"You know me all to well, Optimus."
"You lead an army of Cons. Why come to us?" Bulkhead still couldn't understand why Megatron would want to work with them.
"Because this particular endeavor requires something beyond the realm of my command. The power of a Prime."
"Then I guess we don't need you," Bulkhead snarked.
"On the contrary, Optimus may be the only one who can defeat Unicron, but I still remain the only one who can guide you to him. Unicron's life blood flows through me. Only I can hear his thoughts, anticipate his movements. Optimus, our past alliances, autobot and decepticon, they no longer matter. Not as long as Unicron lives."
Optimus stood face to face with his enemy. "A truce between autobot and decepticon? How long do you expect us to believe that will last?"
"Only as long as is mutually beneficial."
"And when our proposed shared mission is complete?"
"When it is over, I shall conquer this planet my way."
"Aligning with the lesser of two evils is still siding with evil! Optimus, you can't be seriously considering working alongside Megatron, can you?" Ratchet sounded irate on the other end of the link.
"Do you think you have witnessed the full power of Unicron? Those foot soldiers were nothing more than a taste. Unicron has yet to even fully awaken. With every passing moment, the bringer of chaos evolves, mutating Earth from the inside out. What we have witnessed until now is just a prelude of the utter devastation that he will wreak upon this world. Don't be foolish, Optimus. Work with me, and together, we can destroy Unicron once and for all."
"This sounds just like how your quest for dominance destroyed Cybertron," Arcee spat angrily.
"Make no mistake, this time there will be a planet left for me to rule!"
"Even if we did agree, Unicron is all the way at the center of the Earth. How would we even get there? Drive?" Bulkhead threw his servos up in frustration.
"There is only one way."
"ABSOLUTLEY NOT!" Ratchet knew what Optimus was hinting at. "Ground bridging into space, or onto moving trains, is difficult enough, but plotting a blind jump inside of a sentient being? It would be suicide! Besides, direct contact with that much dark energon would debilitate you! You haven't built up an immunity like Megatron has."
"Yet another strong argument for soliciting my guidance," Megatron sneered, knowing full well that the plan was hopeless unless the autobots worked with him. "If you transport us to this planet's core, I can lead you directly to Unicron's spark. The very heart of his darkness."
Reese couldn't believe what she was hearing. Surely Optimus couldn't side with Megatron. After it was all said and done, the Warlord specifically said he would conquer Earth, and yet, despite this knowledge, Optimus still seemed to be considering the offer!
"Optimus, even if we could get directly into Unicron's spark chamber, how would we destroy it?" Arcee questioned from the other side of the link.
"With the matrix of leadership."
"What is that?" Fowler looked up at Ratchet quizzically.
"It is a vessel of pure energy. The collective wisdom of the Primes."
"Where are we even supposed to find this matrix?" Jack looked concerned. "It's not like we have time to go on a scavenger hunt."
"We do not need to find it. Optimus carries it within him. That is how he holds the power of the Primes."
Megatron began speaking once more, causing everyone to turn back to listening to the comm frequency. "It was the combined power of the primes that defeated Unicron so long ago. This is the very reason he seeks so desperately to destroy you, Optimus."
"It would follow that releasing the power of the matrix directly into Unicron's spark would return him to stasis."
"hold up, so if everything goes as planned, Unicron is just going to stay down there?"
"Miko, remember how we explained that due to Unicron being trapped within the Earth's core, if we were to remove him, the core would collapse, or at least become extremely unstable." Reese pinched the bridge of her nose.
"Reese is right, if we were to tamper with your planet's core, it could completely alter magnetic fields. It would likely trigger the cataclysmic prophecy that we are working so hard to prevent. As disconcerting as it is, Unicron must remain in your core in order for your planet to remain as it is." Ratchet vented.
"Uh oh, we got another one!" Bulkhead yelled over the link. It seemed like Unicron was getting ready for another strike.
"Ratchet, send a ground bridge," Optimus ordered.
"Consider my offer, Optimus. I shall keep it busy," The others could hear Megatron say from the other side.
The team fell back, returning through the ground bridge portal. All of the humans looked up at Optimus expectantly. What would he decide?
"Optimus, I know that desperate times call for desperate measures, but bringing Megatron here? You can't be seriously considering this!"
"How can you even think about letting that Monster around these children after what he did to Raf!" June spat, glaring daggers at Optimus.
Reese quirked a brow at June's selective comment. Sure, Rafael had received the brunt of the attack, but had the nurse forgotten everything Reese had been through too? How She had risked her own life to save Raf? She had half a mind to be angry at the nurse, but, given the current situation, it wouldn't have helped. Besides, she knew that she was just being petty.
She did have to agree with the Nurse, though. After everything that had happened, why would Optimus put everybody at risk by bringing Megatron to the base? Just the thought of it sent chills down Reese's spine.
""While the situation is less than ideal, it still seems to be our best and only option. Megatron will be closely monitored, and only allowed to linger long enough to send us on our journey. Not one moment more. Furthermore, because we will be ground bridging him here, he will not be able to get a fix on our location. I will be taking every precaution possible to keep everyone here safe." Optimus tried to put the minds of his team and his allies at ease.
"Okay, but Optimus, what's going to happen to you once all of this matrix energy is released?" Jack asked. This question got Reese's attention. She too wanted to know how this venture would affect Optimus.
"The power within the matrix has not been previously utilized in this manner. It is uncertain what effects could result from using it in this way," Optimus vented, though it seemed he knew more than he was letting on.
"But you have an idea, don't you?"
"Please, Optimus, just tell us if you will be okay," Reese asked, alongside Jack.
Optimus didn't answer Jack or Reese's questions. Instead, with a serious, and almost sad, tone of voice, he said, "Autobots, if humankind is to be saved, I have no choice but to proceed, but you do."
"Well, I don't know about humankind, but I'm willing to do it for Miko," Bulkhead looked over at his charge.
"Me too, for Jack," Arcee did the same.
"I too and not afraid of this fight. I will do whatever I must in order to save Rafael… and Reese too," Bumblebee whirred as his optics jumped back and forth between his two close friends.
"Then it is decided. Ratchet, open the ground bridge. In the meantime, I think it would be best if you and the rest of the humans went deeper within the base, for your own safety," Optimus turned towards Agent Fowler.
"Understood, Optimus," Fowler saluted the Prime and began ushering the others towards one of the many corridors that led deeper into the base.
"No fair! I have never seen him! Why do we have to hide?" Miko stomped her foot angrily.
"Well I have seen him. Trust me, it's not worth your safety. If Optimus told you to hide, then you will hide," Reese snapped at Miko. That girl was a glutton for danger.
"Reese, you should go and hide as well. Considering how your last encounter with Megatron went… I don't want you to be put in harm's way again," Optimus looked down at Reese with gentle optics, and held out his servo.
Reese climbed into it, allowing the Prime to gently lower her to the ground.
Once the humans and Reese were safely out of the main room, the ground bridge was opened and Megatron, in all his evil glory, came walking in.
"So, this is where the magic happens? Quaint."
Rafael, who was peeking from around the corner, had a sudden burst of rage when he saw the Decepticon Warlord. Without thinking, he ran out of his hiding place, right towards Megatron!
"Rafael, no!" Reese tried to grab his arm to stop him, but he was already out of reach. As much as she didn't want to face Megatron again, her fear for Rafael's safety superseded her fear of Megatron, so she too came out of hiding, chasing after the young boy.
She ran up to Raf and grabbed him gently by the shoulder, painfully aware of Megatron's icy gaze.
"Don't worry about him, Raf. He doesn't deserve a moment of your time or energy," She tried to calm Raf, though she found that she too was shaking, both in anger, and in fear.
"You are both looking much better than you did the last time I saw you, especially you, little one," the warlord said, referring to Rafael. "Who knew that humans were so resilient?" Megatron's grin was unsettling. "And you," Megatron's attention shifted to Reese. "If I didn't know better, I wouldn't even guess you to be fully human," Megatron's comment caused Reese's spark to jump into her throat. Suddenly, she couldn't even heed the advice she had just given to Raf. "Indeed, you do appear to be more robot than human. How curious."
Reese felt beads of sweat forming on her forehead. She felt extremely warm, as if someone had cranked the thermostat to max. Why was he singling her out again? She wanted to run, but she couldn't quite get her legs to cooperate. She jumped slightly when Agent Fowler put his hand on her shoulder.
"Come on kid, lets get you and Raf back to the corridor," he spoke calmly, gently taking Reese by the elbow and leading her and Raf back out of Megatron's gaze.
Once out of the main room, Reese's lungs resumed their ability to breathe.
"What happened back there?" Fowler asked the trembling girl.
"I… I don't know. There is something about Megatron. I don't know how to explain it. He just, its like he can see right through me, read my thoughts. I panicked… I'm sorry."
"It's okay, you have been through a lot the past couple of days. Are you okay?"
"Yea, just a little shaken up. That is the second time he has singled me out… It's unnerving."
"Well, let's just hope that's the last time he ever gets close to any of you," Fowler clasped Reese's shoulder with a firm grip, as if he were trying to directly transfer confidence from himself into her.
"Thanks Agent Fowler."
The group turned to head further into the base, but Optimus stopped them, or rather, stopped Reese and Jack.
"The rest of you, go on ahead, I would like to speak to Reese and Jack alone for a minute."
"Okay, Optimus," Fowler looked slightly skeptical, but ushered the others away, nonetheless, giving Optimus, Reese, and Jack a little privacy.
"Hey Optimus, what is it?" Jack looked up at the Prime curiously.
Optimus knelt down in front of the two. "Jack, Reese, there is something I would like for you two to keep for me, until I return."
"Something you want us to keep?"
"It is the key, or rather, the keys to the ground bridge power supply (5). They must be used together. One won't work without the other. They are very important, and I want you two to hold onto them." Optimus held out two huge keys, though as they came closer to the two teens, the keys shrank in size until they could easily fit in a human sized hand.
"Okay but, don't you think this is something you should be giving to Ratchet?" Jack looked up at Optimus with surprise.
"Perhaps, but I have been impressed by how much both of you have grown and matured since we first met. You have proven yourselves to be selfless and levelheaded, and thus, I feel as if you two have earned the responsibility of safeguarding these important keys until I return.
"Optimus…" Reese held the key thoughtfully. She wanted to beg him not to go. She knew that something was wrong, that Optimus wasn't telling them everything, but crying and begging would do no good. "Are you sure I am worthy of such an honor? I mean, I haven't been among you for very long. Perhaps you should give this key to someone else…"
"No, I believe that I have made the right decision in choosing you. Your time among us has been short, but you have already proven yourself. You have constantly placed the safety and care of others before your own, as can be seen in your recent care for Rafael. Ratchet informed me of what you did to save him. It was truly a selfless act, an act that shows great courage and responsibility."
"Thank you, Optimus. This is a huge honor." Reese fought back tears as they pricked the corners of her eyes. She refused to cry in front of anyone, Optimus most of all. "Please, promise to come back."
Optimus looked down sadly for a moment, but then looked back at the two humans with a sad smile. "I will."
With that, he stood up and made his way back over to the rest of the team as they prepared to make the jump.
Reese, Jack, and the others, watched as the ground bridge opened, and one after another, their friends, friends who had become like family, embarked on a mission from which they may never return.
(1) This is NOT canon. I took some of the lore from the Transformers: Animated series and paired it with my own fan theory.
(2) This is a nod to Blitzwing, a triple changer with three personalites.
(3) In Jewish folklore, a golem is an animated anthropomorphic being that is created entirely from inanimate matter, typically clay. It can also be used to refer to an automation or a robot, though. I thought it would be a fitting term to refer to Unicron's manifestations, considering that the word manifestation was getting overused a lot throughout the chapter.
(4) In Greek mythology, this is a giant, nine-headed water-snake monster. When one of it's heads were cut off, two more would grow to take its place.
(5) Yea, I that in the show, there was only one key and it was given only to Jack, but I really wanted Reese to go to Cybertron, so I made it so that there were two keys that had to be used together in order to open vector sigma. It was kind of a cheap move, I guess, but it was necessary for my story, so I put it in there.
Alright you guys, I hope that you enjoyed the chapter. I put a lot of time and effort into these chapters, so please leave a comment and let me know what you think of the story. I like knowing that my hard work is appreciated. Also, if you have any questions about what you read, please feel free to PM me and I will reply as quickly as I can with an answer.
On another note, the fall semester has just started up and so I am going to be very busy with college classes. This will likely slow down how frequently I can work on and update this story. I will try to stay on it pretty regularly, but since this is my senior year, I am likely going to be pretty busy. Just bear with me and be patient, knowing that I am working as quickly as I can. I love all of you, and I hope that you all have a lovely rest of your days! - Lucy
