Chapter 8: Re-Do (1)

Being hunted down in a place he was sure that he hadn't willing chosen to visit was not how Kujo Josefumi had thought of spending this lively night.

One moment he was plotting the theft of the Locacaca plant from the mysterious organization trying to harness its effects, then as he went to sleep to prepare for the big day, he wound up in some dark alley in this... 'Fuyuki'. Nowhere near Morioh and far bigger than his hometown.

Josefumi was not prepared for the situation, but that didn't mean he just stood there when, from some of the shadows emerged a dark wolf-like figure that suddenly gave him chase.

He didn't run at first, trying to clash with the monster through his Stand. ｢Soft & Wet｣ was no frontline fighter, but it should have been strong enough to fight off the bastard through its bubbles. The Humanoid Stand's trademark ability was nothing to scoff at and, despite the rising unease the more he looked at his unexpected opponent, Josefumi didn't back down from the challenge-

That was until he saw the bubbles meant to be used to mimic the effects of bricks to hurl at the beast suddenly went pure black and broke in more energy for the beast to absorb. It clicked in his mind that this may not be a good opponent for Stands and, without wasting any thought on it, tried to run away from it.

The monster was fast, hungry to get its claws on him, but the Morioh's denizen quickly used his Stand in a clever way to delay and slow down the creature of shadows. First, he used some more Bubbles to create metallic barrier. It barely worked in stopping the beast, giving him some more distance that the monstrous entity managed to recovery by being far faster than any average human like him would have been able to handle. The entire chase was less of a serious effort for the beast and more of a game.

It was 'toying' with Josefumi and that was grating into the young man's mind. He gritted his teeth, trying to think of something that could really do some damage but... that was more of a Yoshikage's business. His ｢Soft & Wet｣ couldn't exactly pack much of a fight and seeing how the monster was absorbing energy through his bubbles, Josefumi knew that a brawl would only see him as the only loser.

But right as he turned the corner, he was surprised to see someone rush from the nearby rooftop, diving down as it intercepted the monster with a well-paced rush of slaps and punches. Wearing a red sleeveless Chinese Dress, the long-haired brunette that come to his rescue hardly looked to be meant to be fighting but... appearances were indeed deceiving as the woman's attack did push back the monster.

Josefumi was about to step closer to help, but a hand reached for his shoulder right from behind and pulled him away just in time to dodge a tendril shooting from the wolf-like creature that tried to stab at him. The woman that was still busy fending off against the monster managed to snap it with a karate-chop, causing the monster to whine in pain but overall holding its own against the Chinese-dressed lady.

Josefumi's attention was however taken by the owner of the hand as he turned to see a somewhat familiar pair of blue eyes in a stoic expression of a man. Those eyes were like that woman, Yoshikage's mother... Holly Joestar-Kira.

He felt paralyzed for a moment, but a slap from the man pulled him out of his thoughts.

"Stop ogling, we have an enemy to deal with."

The harsh tone was met with a nod. It was quite similar to Yoshikage's no-nonsense kind of habit, plus the situation demanded utmost attention. The monster was getting pushed back, but the woman alone didn't seem enough to take care of that. The man that was allied with her mustered what looked to be a Stand. Bulky, muscular- even more than Yoshikage's ｢Killer Queen｣ as it was clearly specialized in high-paced fighting.

In fact, the powerful-looking Stand joined the woman and the two seemed to cooperate in fighting the beast. Josefumi felt a bit useless at the moment, but realized he could still do something to help. He saw how the monster could absorb his bubbles, but what if he managed to use ｢Soft & Wet｣'s Plunder ability before that happened.

Rushing three small-sized bubbles, Josefumi managed to push them through the clash and away from his potential allies' reach before using his Stand's ability on the shadow. Much to his surprise, the bubbles darkened again, but this time they did Plunder their target as some of the monster's mass left its body and allowed for the monster to be weakened.

Seeing how dangerously close to perishing it was, the beast roared before pushing his two opponents away and suddenly turned to run away. The Stand went back to its user, while the woman looked reluctant to just let go of this confrontation just yet.

"Master, permission to chase!" The woman requested earnestly, leaving Josefumi confused due to the 'title' used to address the name.

Still, the lady accepted the order, shoulders sagging as she looked utterly... sheepish.

"No. We are not going to rush to a potential trap, Caster."

...Caster? Josefumi was even more confused, but he knew better from trying to intimidate both as they were clearly stronger than he was. Still, his curiosity got the best out of him as he decided to see what was going on.

"W-Who are you two and... where am I?"

The woman looked surprised, but the man hardly showed any sign of shock while he addressed back at the younger male.

"This is Fuyuki Town. That's Caster, and my name is Kujo Jotaro. Who are you?"

The strength behind that proclamation was almost enough to stun him even more to the odd revelation behind the man's name. Despite that, Josefumi managed to muster the needed brain-power to reply to that.

"Josefumi. Kujo Josefumi, Jotaro-san."

Now, as he was done telling him this, he could tell he got a surprised look out of his potential relative... but how? Josefumi was quite sure that there weren't other Kujo beyond his parents and himself.

The plot thickens and Josefumi is here too... but he may have the chance to develop something to change his own future for the better. It's a matter of... Gacha.

Still yeah, this is another Fuyuki and one that is actually 'known' in terms of some relations. This is set in the world of Fate/Accel Zero Order from FGO, but with major twists as Chaldea is not involved in this Singularity.
