The Castle of the Queen of the United Worlds. Regina's bedchamber.
Regina stood by the closet and critically sorted through the clothes. She took off the hangers, examined them and hung them back.
— Not that, all not that,— she muttered, hanging back another hanger with a dress.
— Hello. What are you doing? — A familiar voice sounded very close by.
Regina peeked out from behind the closet door and saw Snow White, who was smiling habitually.
— Snow? — Regina was surprised and walked up to her. — I didn't expect to see you, but I'm glad you're here.
— Are you all right? — Snow White asked. — Decided to update your wardrobe?
— Well... — Regina turned to the closet. — Not really.
— Let's sit down first, — Snow White took her friend's hand in hers, — and you'll tell me everything.
They sat down on the sofa. Regina, thought for a while, and then decided to start the conversation with the main thing. She turned to Snow White.
— I do not know how it happened, but imy/i Robin has returned.
— Are you sure? — Snow White asked.
— Of course I'm sure. We almost kissed, that's for sure Robin. Do you remember our conversation when I first brought his doppelganger to Storybrooke? From the Desire World? And on your advice, I kissed him. Then I realized that he was... another. And this one is definitely mine. Only without memory. — Regina waved her hand at the closet. — I wanted to find that blue dress in which I went to his first date, and can't. I thought maybe he would remember at least that.
— Or maybe just kiss him again? Only really. David woke me up like that. Well, you remember, — Snow White smiled slyly.
— Snow — Regina smiled sadly, — he's not under a spell. He died and was reborn. These are different things. And something is slowing him down, but I can't figure out what. It was as if he wanted to kiss me, but then suddenly changed his mind.
— You need to talk with him, — Snow White said firmly.
— How? He lives in the forest again. Search the whole forest? — Regina asked with a little desperation. — If I had that feather from his arrow, but Zelena lost it.
— I don't know yet, but we'll figure something out, — Snow White replied.
— Oh, Snow, don't start,— Regina half - jokingly waved away.
— Listen, what about his children? — Snow White suddenly realized. — Roland and Robin? They should know.
— Roland himself tried to convince me that it his father, and Robin... I called Hook, he's bringing her.
— Okay, — Snow White smiled and leaned back on the sofa.
— Is that why you came running?— Regina nodded understandingly. — Did you think I'd turn evil? Again? Haven't you learned to trust me after all these years? Is it because Mr. Gold is back?
— No, no! — Snow White assured Regina fervently. — Henry just caused a little panic and... I decided to check on you. Hold on... What does "Mr. Gold is back" mean?
— Don't you know yet? I thought the city already knew everything,— Regina chuckled. — Then listen. A couple of days ago, before the holiday...
Somewhere in the Enchanted Forest.
Robin was sitting on an old blanket he found and looking at the fire. He remembered over and over again how Regina had held out her hands in despair when he left. It was as if he had already seen it: how she held out her hands to him and tears stood in her eyes. And there's so much pain in them. But he felt calm in his soul, as if he had done something right, and then that was it. It was as if his eyes were abruptly closed. It was such a strange feeling, like a memory. It hurt Robin to look at Regina today, and he didn't want to leave, but he forced himself. Because that guy, he loves her, it's obvious. And he also remembered a teenage girl. So cute. She's probably Regina's daughter. How he would like to have a daughter. And again he was overtaken by a strange feeling — he even clearly imagined how he was holding a little girl in his arms, very tiny, like a pea.
Robin shook his head — lately strange visions have been coming to him more and more: either dreams, or memories. And he decided to talk about them with Regina, he himself could not answer the question why with her. Maybe he just wanted to see once again, maybe talk. But something very unexpected he experienced then in the forest, when he almost kissed her.
Robin walked along the forest path and came out to the road. And he remembered how Ruby had led him to the road, and they had followed it to the mansion.
We're going to her mansion. It's the biggest in the city, - she said then. So he went the same way, towards the mansion.
Robin didn't know where to start talking, but it was necessary to talk. He knew that for sure. He almost reached the mansion, but stopped on the other side of the road and stared at the building.
"If you go somewhere, you have a clear goal, and I don't even know where to start a conversation. I'm acting like an idiot! «Excuse me, will you talk with me about my dreams?»,- the man said to himself mentally, - she will send me to a psychiatrist right away. What if «sorry for running away from the hospital»? No. This is stupid! What if it's just «sorry»? And then I'll figure it out... Oh, no. Let's rob her, and then apologize. It's like I didn't know it was her house. No, this is some kind of stupidity! So, pull yourself together, knock on the door and talk! Be a man!"
The World of Desires. Robin and Alice's house.
Killian Jones knocked sharply on the door with an iron hook. The door opened a crack, and Alice's head squeezed through the gap. Her eyebrows shot up in surprise.
— Dad? You're at a bad time, — she said.
— Hello, "starfish," — the pirate smiled. — I really need to talk to Robin. Is she at home?
— Dad! — Alice hissed. — Come back later. What's so urgent?
— Let me in, I need to talk to Robin, — Captain Hook insisted.
The door opened wider, and Alice's head moved with it, as if it was glued to it. In this small doorway stood Robin in a bathrobe and with wet hair.
— Oh, hi, 'Daddy,'— Robin said, and turning to her head, she said, — Go get dressed.
Alice immediately disappeared, and Robin opened the door even wider, letting her father-in-law in.
— Sorry, she's... us... it doesn't matter,— she waved her hand. — Do you want some tea?
— There is no time for pleasantries, — the pirate shook his head, — Regina needs you urgently.
— Aunt Regina? What for?
— I don't know,— Killian slapped the air with his hand, — but she said, the sooner the better.
— Why are you listening to him? — Alice came up to them, dressed in homemade. — He started drinking again, he smells like a kilometer away. Rum again, eh, Dad?
— "Starfish", — sighed Killian, — well, I drank a little. Regina's waiting for Robin anyway. She called me.
— All right, — Alice nodded, — then tell me why.
— How do I know? — The pirate shrugged his shoulders.
— I'm telling you he's lying! — Alice frowned resentfully.
— But we need to check. If Aunt Regina calls, it's better to find out what's going on right away. I just need to change.
—Yes, I'll wait,— the pirate replied. — Just this, Robin, can I ask your mother? To make it faster? It's a long way to Storybrooke.
— Don't worry, I have magic bean.
She came down a few minutes later, dressed in street clothes and with dry hair. Alice frowned and crossed her arms over her chest in protest. Robin walked over to her.
— Don't sulk, "recluse", I'll be quick.
She kissed her beloved, and the pirate tactfully turned away.
They left the house, but Killian was a little behind. Robin turned around and looked at him in surprise.
— You know, — said the pirate, — you'd better go alone. Regina, of course, has changed, has become kind, but I don't want to take any chances. Moreover, she asked you to come. I don't think I'm needed there.
— As you wish, — Robin shrugged and took out a magic bean.
Storybrooke. The mansion at 108 Mifflin Street.
Robin knocked on the door, determined. The door was opened by a woman, but not the one he expected to see. And his determination was slightly weakened.
— Hello, — he said, — I need the owner of this mansion.
— It's me, — the woman replied, — this mansion is mine.
— No, it can't be,— said Robin, — I couldn't have been mistaken. This is definitely the house.
— Who did you expect to see?
— Regina. Regina Mills,— Loxley replied.
— She doesn't live here anymore,— the woman smiled. — You need to go to her castle.
— To the castle?— Robin said doubtfully and suddenly clutched his head with his hand. — Oh.
— My task is to extinguish the fire, yours is stay out of my way.
— What's with you? — The woman started up and shouted somewhere into the house. — Henry, come here!
Robin grabbed his head with both hands — the pain seemed to be throbbing and it seemed that his head was about to burst.
— Stay out of my way.
— God forbid!
— What is it, Ella? — The same guy came to the door and noticed the guest. — Robin! What's with you?
— Ow, it hurts! Heck! — Robin fell to his knees, holding his head.
— Ella,— Henry turned to his wife, — what did he want?
— I was looking for your mom. He said he needed Regina, Regina Mills.
— I'm asking you out.
— Ha. In the forest ? What would I... voluntarily?... You're crazy!
Robin had already gone on the floor, stunned by the pain, and Ella's words were the last he heard before he passed out.
— Mom... — He muttered. — She's his mom.
— Robin! Robin! — Henry shook the man, but he was already unconscious. — Ella, call the hospital, and I'll call my mom.
The Castle of the Queen of the United Worlds. Regina's bedchamber.
Snow White sat with her mouth slightly open, thinking about what she had heard.
— It's crazy... — She said at last.
— Yeah,— Regina said.
Suddenly a portal appeared in the wall—it glowed at the edges—and Robin stepped into the room.
— Aunt Regina! — Robin said and rushed to her with a hug. — I'm so glad to see you. You asked me to come as soon as possible, and I'm here. Something happened?
— And I glad t see you, my dear,— Regina replied. — Yes, something happened. Snow, won't you leave us?
— Of course, of course. — Snow White got up. — I'm going home, David and Neal are probably already at home.
After Snow White left, Regina sat her niece down next to her.
— Robin... I know it sounds strange, but your father is alive,— Regina chuckled. — Some kind of deja vu.
— What kind of deja vu? What are you talking about? — Robin adjusted her glasses. — Wait, what did you say about my father?
— He's alive, I saw him, and... talked to him.
— What?! — Robin jumped up from the couch. — What do you mean, "alive"?
— He's in Storybrooke now. Do you want to meet him?
— I... I am... — Robin sat back down. — All my life I've been living with the idea that he died when I was just a baby. And.. What now?
— Listen, it was a shock for me too. I didn't even believe it when I saw him for the first time.
— For the first time? — The young girl raised her eyebrows. — So he's been here a long time?
— A couple of days. He... he doesn't remember anything,— Regina sighed.
— Does Roland know?— Robin asked. — And Mom? Does she know?
— Roland found him,— Regina nodded, — and I haven't talked to your mother.
— Nice! Everyone knew everything, only my mom and I were on the sidelines!
— I realized only now that it was him! Are you listening to me? It was news to me too! And your mother doesn't need it. She only dated him to annoy me. She used him.
— Aren't you using me now? Do you want him to find his memory and come back to you?
— Robin! What are you talking about?
Regina looked at her niece and did not recognize, she saw her so angry for the first time.
— Why did you tell me? — Robin looked at her aunt. — Erase my memory, I don't want to know anything about my father.
— Robin... — Regina said, shocked. She was waiting for any reaction, but definitely not like this. — Why?
— I've lived in his shadow all my life, trying to prove that I'm not worse. And what will begin now? What will happen to me?
Regina's phone rang and she answered the call.
— Henry. Where?! — Regina jumped up from the couch. — I'll be right there!
She hung up the phone and looked at her niece.
— Your father is in the hospital. Will you come with me? — Regina held out her hand to the young girl. — At least look at him.
Storybrooke. Hospital.
Regina, through the window of the ward, looked at the man lying with his eyes closed.
— Some kind of deja vu,— she muttered again.
— Is that him? — A young girl came to the window. — My father?
— Mom,— Regina heard and turned around, Henry and Roland were hurrying towards them.
— How is he? — Roland asked and nodded to his sister. — Hello.
— I don't know,— Regina replied, — he's unconscious. I'm going to find Dr. Whale.
She left, and the others stayed near the ward.
— Is this really our father?— The young girl asked.
— Yes, that's him. He hasn't changed much since I remember him,— Roland replied. — I was five when we last saw each other.
Regina returned from the doctor's puzzled.
— Well, Aunt Regina? — Roland asked.
— Dr. Whale said he didn't know what was wrong with him. All his indicators are normal and what remains is to wait for him to wake up, — Regina replied. — Henry, tell me from the beginning — why he here again?
Henry nodded and told her everything that happened. Regina looked out the window again. Her heart was bleeding - she really wanted to help him, but she didn't know how.
— Robin, you can come home if you want,— Regina finally said, — and I'll stay with him.
— Maybe I'll stay? — Roland asked.
— No, — Regina shook her head, — he was looking for me. I want to be the first person he sees when he wakes up.
She opened the door of the ward and went inside.
