Itsuki heard the sounds of carts moving and birds chirping

he slowly opened his eyes to see a blonde man sitting in front of him and that he was in a snowy region.

"Hey you, you're finally awake"

"Huh?" Itsuki replied.

"You were trying to cross the border right?"

"Wha?"

"You walked right into that imperial ambush, same as us and that thief over there"

"What the fuck?" Itsuki replied as he finally felt something on his eyes and took it off to reveal a phone that was on top of his eyes.

And the owner of said phone laughing like a Hyena.

"Oh man" Alex said between chuckles and gasps for air. "You- you almost fucking started replying to him" Alex said before breaking in to a fit of laughter.

Ren was standing right next to Alex and was rubbing his forehead to clear the headache that was caused by the process or Alex, maybe both.

"he got you too?" Itsuki asked.

"Yep" Ren replied

"Oh man-" Alex said before quickly gasping for air then continuing "If only you had it on for the whole thing you might have actually tried to fight the dragon"

"Dragon!? what Dragon!?" Itsuki quickly jumped up his feet and aimed his bow.

"in the video Itsuki" Ren replied "There was a dragon in the video"

Itsuki stared at Ren, dumb-founded as to not knowing, then sheepishly rubbed his hair. "Oh... right"

After five minutes of Alex gasping for air, and trying to hold himself from laughing, He composed himself and proceeded to explain their new powers as evolved.

Ren and Itsuki Absorbed the information quite easily, what with their improved minds and all, and got up to walk back to their teams.

"Oh and one more thing" Alex said "Should one of you betray me, I'll turn you into a beast and have the knights kill you"

"You can't do that" Itsuki said "He can't right?"

"Fuck around and find out" Alex slowly replied and walked back into town.

The two heroes absorbed the threat and walked back to their own respective Inns. Alex ,on the other hand, Went to a library and stayed there all night studying the history of the land.

Well, he would have, had the library not closed.

he walked the streets of Melromarc and enjoying the scenery when he sensed the girls he infected in Motoyasu's party in a nearby inn

As Alex walked into the... Inn he spotted the spear hero and his 'harem' all sitting at a table, Of course, by harem he meant his two spies and the princess.

Motoyasu spotted Alex and glared at him, which actually meant that he quickly averted his gaze lest he invoke Alex's wrath.

Alex proceeded to toy more with Motoyasu.

'Act flustered when I sit next to you, let's make him a little jealous' Alex commanded his spies and approached the one in the green witch attire.

the girl proceeded to act all flustered and embarrassed once once Alex got close enough.

"Sup" Alex said. "Been a while Motoyasu" Motoyasu slightly shivered at hearing his voice and slowly turned to look at him.

"Y-yeah, how are- how you doin'?" Motoyasu's shakiness did not go unnoticed by his group members.

"Are you okay Motoyasu-sama?" Asked Myne, "Nothi-nothing to worry about" Motoyasu replied "Just a little tired from today's training."

"may I? m'am?" Alex asked the woman with the green witch outfit, who proceeded to blush wildly, and she scooted over "absolutely sir" she said, much to Motoyasu's annoyance. "you know Motoyasu" Alex said "this world is much better than I thought, such... interesting specimen to observe and study" he turned to Motoyasu "don't you agree?"

"I don-I don't really know about science so I can't exa-exactly say" Motoyasu's nervousness did not go unnoticed by the people at the table, especially Alex and Myne. "you don't look well Motoyasu-sama" asked Myne while side-eyeing Alex's grinning face.

'that damn shield hero! now I have to go help this useless excuse for a hero' "I'm sorry but I think Motoyasu-sama needs to rest his head we did a lot of monster killing today" Said Myne as she grabbed Motoyasu's hand and guided him to their room "ahem" Myne coughed for the other girls who were still sitting with Alex "coming" replied Lesty as she got up from her seat and motioned for the other girl before looking at Alex and blushing wildly which caused Motoyasu AND Myne's eyes to twitch.

"it was a pleasure being in your presence ladies" he kissed the witch girl's hand "I look forward to our next meeting" Lesty blushed wildly

"see you around Motoyasu" Alex said before exiting the inn.

As he walked the streets of Melromarc he felt something calling him, looking around, he saw a crawler in an alley calling him and approached it.

he let the small arachnid-like creature to climb unto his hand merge with his skin, a message from on of his spies at the castle played out.

"Master Alex" the message began "we have completely taken over the castle staff and await your orders" Alex smiled and sent out another crawler from his arm. The crawler, well, crawled to a hole it had dug under a nearby barrel which connected to an underground tunnel system that led to the castle.

At the castle

The head maid, Katia, sat over the tub filled with soap and water washing the dishes after dinner, she felt the signal of her crawler appear and saw it move out from under a small bush nearby, she moved her hand to rest it on the tub's handle and checked to make sure the coast was clear before letting the small messenger climb her hand and it crawled into her ear.

'good, infect as many nobles as possible and make sure that the royal family has no more allies inside Melromarc that don't work for us. ' the message began 'meet me outside the castle tomorrow, no followers.' Katia received the message and got up from her location in the garden and put the dishes and the tub in the kitchen and would move on to the laundry.

it was unfortunate that she could only now send the message and not earlier when the nobles were all staying the night, the king was visited quite frequently by the nobles in Melromarc, they would have to do.

time 04:00 AM location: Melromarc eastern gate

yawn* a guard yawned as he sat in the watchtower of the main gate of the city. "this is stupid" he complained "who the hell would be dumb enough to attack the main gate?" he said to his asleep partner who got startled by his complaining and yawned himself "you should be thankful for that" the other guard replied "means we get paid to do nothing" he said and he thought he would hear his friend make some annoying comment but heard no one.

"you've gotten awfully quiet" he said "hmm?" he looked to his right and saw that his friend was nowhere to be seen " hey!" he shouted to find him "where are you, you little shi-" he was cut off by a bladed appendage thrusting itself through his chest "just had to open my fucking mouth didn't I?" he said as his world went black and silent.

"yeah" Alex replied "you sure did" Alex extended his arm which ripped themselves apart to make a fleshy tunnel out of them, he shot two pustules of biomass which slowly took the shape of the recently consumed guards. Alex went around disguised as a guard converting all of the other guards into his minions, effectively taking over the city's defenses.

he looked proudly at his work. there were 5,000 guards in the city. 900 of them were on the city's walls guarding the gates or on watchtowers. he converted a 100 of the guards to be his minions and made them create more mind crawlers to infect the other 800. the other 4,100 guards would have to wait, he needed to do meet Motoyasu at the inn to toy with him one last time,

morning, at the Inn he met Motoyasu's party at

Alex sat at the bar of the inn and the bartender came up to him, she was a young woman with brown hair and similar brown eyes, "a glass of water if you will" he said and bartender nodded and went off to get the other customers drinks, as she got him his water, Motoyasu and his party came down and all of them noticed Mercer sitting at the bar, Motoyasu had the most effective stimulant of his life, also known as a heart attack, when his eyes landed on Alex. 'this is just ridiculous at this point!' he thought 'is he some demon that crawls out of nowhere to torture me with his presence?'

Alex sensed Motoyasu and gave the order to the two girls ,the one who's dressed like a dancer and the other who looked like a witch, and they blushed madly at him before following Motoyasu as he exited the inn as quietly as possible, of course, Motoyasu noticed their blushing and he silently fumed at that 'now he's stealing my harem!' he shouted in his mind ' first he makes a total joke out of me by making fun of me in front of everyone and now he steals my girls? at least Myne-chan is still loyal to me' he thought and walked out furiously.

Alex drank his water and payed before walking out to meet the head maiden.

later, west of the Melromarc castle.

west of the castle a wide and spacious forest made specifically for the royal family and their filolials, well it was actually made for the current queen and the crown princess, but that is a story for another time.

Alex stood between the trees and leaned on one of them,he observed the filolials that sat in the clearing, they all seemed to be looking at him warily and as if they sensed he was dangerous, they were right, animals could always sense how dangerous he and his evolved were seems it was the same case in this world.

"master Alex" he heard Katia from behind him and turned around to look at her, she stepped forward in her maid outfit with her fingers interlocked with each other and arms extending down " good you've arrived" he said "hands behind your back" she obeyed and put her hands behind her back as if they were tied as he turned his hands into tendril launchers (or the tendril hands from prototype 2) and shot his tendrils at her to make a biomass rope around her feet and hands. "leave the body" he ordered and the mind crawler came out of her ear.

Katia, seemingly having control of her body back, immediately tried to run away but found her hands and feet tied " stay away from me!" she shouted as Alex walked closer and closer "no! NO!" she continued shouting "please no!" she begged as Alex lifted her off the ground and pinned her against a tree by the neck "now, misses Katia" Alex began " this won't hurt... much" he said as he held his hand over her mouth and stabbed his claw into her stomach.

the head maid's eyes widened and she closed them due to the excruciating pain she was in, her bones broke and then repaired themselves, her skin was ripped apart and replaced with biomass, her organs were crushed and consumed by the virus and only then, after what felt like an eternity of pain, did she finally fall unconscious.

after an unknown amount of time, Katia had found herself still in the forest and asleep on a tree. "what happened?" she groggily asked herself as she willed her sore body to stand up and use the tree as support "you became something more than human" she heard Alex say from behind her and stiffened.

She slowly turned her head around to see the shield hero leaning on the tree she was using as a support, her body temperature spiked extremely high and she found herself unable to move.

Alex smirked before walking towards her and standing in-front of her "I made you into something that no human could ever hope to achieve" bluish-silver eyes stared into black as the head maid found herself feeling almost weak opposed to him. he was towering over her in terms of stature, the prototype stood at about 6'10 feet while she was 5'7 ( for us who don't live in the land of school shooters that is about 2.08 meters for Alex and 1.70 meters for Katia).

"the tree " he ordered and she found herself subconsciously obeying his order and standing against the tree. "you of course should know that there is a catch to what I'm doing with this"

"And that is?" she pushed through her nervousness, this man was a threat to the royal family if he wanted to get to her and she made an oath to serve them till her dying breath and-

her though process was quickly cut as he put his hand on her cheek and looked deep into her eyes, what oath was she talking about again?

"you are to spy on the royal family and obey any order I give you no matter what, understood" he said as he pinned her against the tree even more.

To make sure she didn't run away of course.

"NO! I will not spy on-on" she quickly tried to retort but found herself going through a sudden case of euphoria, her eyes went unfocused and her breath became shallower, the heat radiating from Alex's body had become soothing for her and she could barely think anymore. " I said" he said again " you will spy on the royal family for me and obey my every order matter what" he grabbed her neck and tightened his hold "understood?" he said as his hand threatened to snap her neck.

"Y-yes, yes! yes! master Alex!" she finally relented, the mixture of euphoria along with Alex's virus cells in her body made her submit to his order. "good" he said as he released his grip on Katia's neck and walked backwards letting her fall to her knees, " you do as you're told and you will be handsomely rewarded" he said.

"why did you release me?" she asked between short breaths "hmm?" he retorted "you had that parasite crawl in my ear and take hold of me" she continued "you could have just kept it controlling me"

"convenience mostly" he replied "the crawler has to send messages through other crawlers which may waste precious time, you can now send me information at anytime through our link"

"and the other part?" she asked as she found herself able to stand up again "well, you can now think for yourself and I don't need to tell you exactly what to do anytime something happens you'll act more naturally and won't look like an emotionless corpse walking around"

"I feel... powerful" she said as she moved her arm around "well of course" Alex started again "black light fixed every imperfection in your body, not that there was many to fix in the first place and healed every health issue you have" he said as he grabbed her glasses and took them off "wait! I need those to_" she stopped herself mid phrase to realize she could see properly without them.

"blacklight can cure any sickness or disease no matter how deadly" he finished his statement and handed her glasses back to her.

She lingered on that last bit 'any disease?' she mulled over her options and looked into Mercer's eyes "I'll do it" she said "but" she continued.

Alex smirked, oh this was just the beginning Melromarc.

FINALLY you don't know how long this chapter was being written my inspiration is at an all time low and I had to force through this entire chapter to just finish it. so apologize when this turns out to be rushed
