-Late Afternoon-

"And that's how I ended up leaving The White Fang." Blake concluded as she gauged the reactions of the listening team Jasmine. "I understand if you think- "

"So basically, you left the White Fang because you're a good person, right?" Mori concluded simply to Blake's surprise. "Am I wrong?" He said as he turned towards the shaking head of his partner.

"On the contrary, I think it makes you an even better person having left them when they started to get violent in their methods." Seraphina reasoned to the fellow faunus. "besides, you're actively trying to stop them from hurting more innocents so that's even better than just not supporting them." She continued.

"I agree" A new voice cut in, causing everyone at the table to turn to the figure standing on the balcony they were seated next to. The figure was a blonde monkey faunus, with tanned skin and golden fur on his tail to match his messy blonde hair. He was dressed very casually, with an opened white button-down shirt and a pair of blue jeans adorning his fit physique. His blue eyes and large smile painted an inviting picture that was only ruined by the fact that he essentially just eavesdropped on their conversation.

"It's you!" Blake said with a slightly shocked tone at being snuck up on ", you're that faunus from the docks earlier, the stowaway." She said.

"Hey! In my defense, their security was lax, and I really wanted to come check out Vale ahead of my team. And this stowaway has a name by the way! It's Sun Wukong and you best not forget it." The newly named Sun said with an indignant huff.

"Sun…Wukong…?" Mori repeated, the name giving him a slight case of Déjà vu.

"Yeah, if the name sounds familiar, I heard my parents named me after a fairy tale among my tribe. It was about some heavenly warlord who managed to cause quite a bit of mischief but still managed to be the hero everyone needed in the end. The name's quite fitting don't you think?" Sun said while flexing.

"Nah, that name sounds kinda dumb if you ask me." Mori said in a nonchalant manner that caused Sun to recoil in shock.

"Oh yeah? Well I bet your name isn't much better." He shot back

"Yeah, right! Jin Mori is way cooler than Sun Wukong!" Mori said, rising to his feet with his arms out to perpetuate his point. After glaring at each other for a few seconds, the two monkey faunus began to smile before bursting out into laughter. Calming down first, Mori began "So what brings you here? You don't look like the type to enjoy a refined cup of tea." Mori commented with a gesture to Sun's casual style.

"I was just following her because she looked the most interesting out of her little group, so I was hoping to find out more about her." Sun said with a finger pointed towards the still-bowless Blake.

"So, disregarding the fact that you eavesdropped to find out my past, I guess you accomplished your goal." Blake said, seemingly somewhat back to her usual tone. "So, knowing what you do, what will you do now?" She asked the blonde.

"Well given that I arrived here too early for the Vytal festival and I've got nothing better to do, I'll just stick with you guys because you seem like a good bunch." The casual faunus said.

"Well, we're gonna need as many hands as we can get for what we're trying to do." Seraphina finally chimed in after finishing her drink. "I'm Seraphina, by the way, the other half of this guy's" her finger pointed to Mori "team."

"Wait, 'other half'?" The surprised Sun quoted back to her, only for her to nod. "Anyways, what are we trying to do here? I wasn't listening when you mentioned that probably." He said with a gaze towards Blake, assuming she's the ringleader.

"What we're trying to do is get to the bottom of the excessive dust robberies prove that the White Fang aren't involved with them. That's what my team and I were trying to do but Weiss was intent on pinning it on the White Fang, resulting in a… disagreement." She said with a slightly downcast tone before shaking it off. "Anyways, we hit a snag looking for leads and our only info is that they target concentrations of dust but that doesn't narrow it down much…" She ended with a slightly defeated sigh.

"Concentrations of dust you say? Well I heard the crew on the ship I was riding talking about transporting a huge amount of dust." Sun provided

"How big of a transport are we talking here?" Blake asked, spirits rising.

"We're talking a cargo ship with crates lining the whole top of the ship and some more dust on the interior. A huge explosive hazard if you ask me." The blonde faunus remarked with a shrug.

"Well I guess we got our location, but how are we going to catch them in the act? Staking out the location?" Suggested Seraphina with a look towards Blake to which she received a nod in return. "If that's the case then we should try and get your team on board as well." She suggested to Blake, who's eyes avoided hers at the suggestion.

"I don't think they'll want to help me. Not after they found out about my past and definitely not after I ran from them." Blake glumly replied.

"I don't think they'd think that." chimed in Mori "Afterall we already decided that you're in the right here and were in the right back then. Your team aren't bad people either so they would never hold it over your head." He explained rather simply.

"But-"

"No butts! You gotta go make up with them as fast as possible so they can help us bust these guys." Mori said with a hand held out to shush Blake's protests.

After taking a deep breath to gather herself "Fine," Blake began ", I'll go talk to them and see if they'll be willing to help us."

"Yes! I knew you had it in you!" cheered a supportive Mori, seeing a small smile on Blake's face gave him a small indication that his encouragement worked.

"We should head back immediately then, because we'll need as much time as we can to plan out our next move" Suggested Seraphina while standing. Everyone else stood and began making their way out of the café. As they exited and started on their way back to Beacon, Sun came to a sudden realization.

"Hey, wait where am I gonna stay if it doesn't go down tonight?" The monkey faunus asked the Beacon students

This caused everyone to turn to him with a blank look on their faces with Blake being the one to speak the group's mind. "You stowed away so you get to figure out your own living arrangements." She said with Team Jasmine nodding with her sentiment. The group promptly turned and began walking again as the blonde monkey faunus simply cried anime tears as he followed.

Beacon Academy

-Evening-

Standing outside of her team's door, Blake took a deep breathe as her mind raced at the encounter that was about to happen. Having taken about an hour after splitting with Team Jasmine and Sun to collect her thoughts, she became frustrated and decided to just dive in. The sun had set in the meantime, so she was confident her team was inside, and this only made her more nervous. Thinking about what they would say, what they might think, would they attack her?

Lightly slapping her cheeks to dismiss these thoughts, Blake shook her head as she raised her scroll to unlock the door. Right as her scroll touched the pad, the door swung open allowing a red blur to tackle into her. Ignoring the slight pain from hitting the ground, Blake looked down at the slightly disoriented figure of her petite leader.

"Blake? Is that really you?" She questioned, still unsure if she actually just ran into the object of her search. At the sound of their missing teammate's name, the rest of team RWBY peeked their heads out. Upon locking eyes with Weiss, both Blake and Weiss held the gaze for a few seconds as the tension built.

"We should talk this out inside, because there's a lot that I have to explain to you guys." Blake finally said.

Finding their way into the dorm, team RWY allowed Blake to sit on her bed while the rest of them found themselves sitting shoulder to shoulder across from her. "So where should I begin?" Asked Blake, letting her team decide the discussion topic.

"First," began Yang ", I'd like to know why you hid the fact that you were a faunus from us. It doesn't really matter too much in the grand scheme of things, but I'd still like to know your reasoning." Elaborated Yang, with an uncharacteristically neutral tone.

"Well, at first it was because I just felt as if the best way to ensure I got treated equally was to be seen as a human. This changed after we all began to trust each other, however." Continued Blake. "I went from wanting equal treatment to being afraid of what you would think of me once you found out I had kept it from you. This fear persisted until the moment I accidentally revealed myself to you all and cultivated in me panicking." She explained with her eyes becoming downcast at the end of it.

Reaching forward to put a supportive hand on her partner's shoulder, Yang was interrupted by Weiss "So you were a part of the White Fang?" She blurted out bluntly, causing Blake to flinch. Weiss earned an elbow from each of the Rose/Xiao-Long siblings for her consideration. Rubbing both of her sides, she began again "Sorry, what I meant to ask was why did you join the White Fang and what caused you to leave?" Rephrased Weiss in an attempt to understand her teammate.

"That's a long story but I suppose we didn't sit down here for a brief discussion." Blake sardonically joked. "Alright, I'll tell you the whole story. So, it started when I was born and began to realize the inequality faced by the Faunus around me." Blake began

-One long explanation later-

"And that's the point in which I had decided the Fang had gone too far, so I cut the train connector and went my separate way from them." Blake concluded with a tone of finality. Looking up for the first time since she began her tale, she immediately noticed the teary eyes of Ruby and Yang. Before she could say anything, they both jumped on her, tacking her into the bed as they hugged her and cried.

"Y-you went through all that and thought we would hate you for it?" questioned a bawling Ruby as she wiped her tears on Blake's clothes. "There's no way we'd ever look down on you for that, you're more like a hero fighting to help her people." Ruby childishly compared. The comparison brought a smile to Blake's face as she felt tears begin to sting her own eyes.

"You're a real idiot, you know?" Started Weiss as she stood from the bed her teammates leapt from. Looking at Weiss's face, Blake expected to see a visage of anger, but this was not the case.

Weiss was crying as well, a healthy blush marring her porcelain features as a sniffle escaped her. "You should have just explained your situation from the get-go instead of running away. I associated you with those violent ruffians who've dedicated themselves to a life of causing suffering when all the while you were just the opposite." She explained as she let her tears fall, joining her teammates in the group hug.

Team RWBY would bond over their tears as Blake's previously dark thoughts were overpowered by a feeling of elation only achievable by the complete acceptance of her closest friends. At this moment Blake was truly happy.

The mood in the room of Team Jasmine was much different than that of their fellow first years. Inside, Seraphina can be seen with headphones in, reading a book while laying on her bed. Why does she have headphones, you might ask? Because Mori and Sun were sitting on Mori's bed opposite each other playing the newest edition of the popular 'Destruction Siblings'* series of games on their scrolls.

"Agh! How are you so good at this?" questioned a slightly pissed Mori after his 4th consecutive loss to his fellow monkey faunus.

"I'm just that good...And I happen to get in a lot of practice during any of my lectures because otherwise I'd die from boredom." Explained Sun with a shiver at the thought of being forced to survive a lecture unamused.

"Well let's fight again then because there's no way I'm gonna lose 5 times in a row!" Challenged Mori as he and Sun reselected their characters. Just as they were about to confirm their match, a message buzzed Mori's scroll. The very same message buzzed Seraphina's scroll, causing her to take a break from reading and examine it.

"Looks like we've got the whole Team RWBY on our side in this investigation!" Mori exclaimed in happiness upon reading the message from Blake. "She says they wanna meet up and discuss the specifics of the plans tonight since it'll be pretty quick, so we should just head over to their dorm right now." He paraphrased from Blake's more formal text.

With Seraphina having read the same message and Sun having heard form Mori, all that was needed was a nod of affirmative between the three before they set off to Team RWBY's dorm.

The Next Day

-Evening-

After Team Jasmine plus Sun found their way to Team RWBY's dorm, the group spent the next hour or so discussing their plan of action. Comparing notes, the two groups found that the docks seemed like the most likely target and narrowed the timing down to between dusk and dawn. They used Sun's info to narrow down the place and concluded that the perpetrators would use the cover of night to mask such a large-scale theft. The question came up as to why they shouldn't be watching the docks that night and the consensus they came to is that the authority's presence would be the strongest the day the ship docked so the subsequent days were much more likely to experience a theft.

After deciding the time and the place, the group then decided the how. This leads to why Sun and Blake found themselves staking out the docks on this Sunday evening. The group decided that in order to stakeout the docks, pairs would be the most effective. The pairs were decided based on overall chemistry as the wrong two people (Yang and Mori) would be incapable of making rational decisions (NOT fighting a large group of enemies) if the situation evolved that way. This led to the slightly impulsive monkey faunus and the quiet, stealth-oriented cat faunus to form a team as they balanced each other out.

It was decided that in case anything were to happen at the docks, that everyone else was to be in the city on stand-by. The weekend provided the perfect cover for this as breaking curfew was allowed at Beacon, so long as the student made it in time for their classes the next morning and didn't get caught on their way in or out.

"Wow this is actually really boring now that I'm actually doing it." Remarked Sun as he and Blake sat perched on a rooftop. Blake had a pair of binoculars to her eyes that remained unmoving as they focused on the warehouse where the dust was stored. Taking her silence as a que to keep talking, Sun decided to actually observe the docks again. "They have a lot of faunus working here, huh? I didn't think they'd have so many, but this place is full of surprises so far." Sun remarked offhandedly.

"Yeah, there are usually a lot of faunus doing the grunt work but having no humans around is kind of unusual." She said as she scanned the entire dockyard, actually taking note of the features of each person. "Wait, there's actually no humans working right now." Blake said with a suspicious tone.

"So what?" Sun replied, "They decided that they didn't want to lose as much money today so they probably wanted as cheap of labor as they could find." Reasoned the monkey faunus.

"No, Sun. The odds of there being mostly faunus is very high but there would still be a human to hold them in line. The chances of there being all faunus is almost impossible to something is definitely off here." Blake countered.

"You're reasoning is solid, but- wait where did everyone go?" Sun said as he looked back down at the docks, now only illuminated by the stray lights scattered around. The employees that had been filing about their business all seemingly vanishing during his and Blake's discussion. Putting the binoculars back to her eyes and using her natural faunus night vision, Blake scanned the docks for any signs of life. Seeing a stray movement into a distant warehouse, Blake knew that she had the right place.

"I think I saw something over there at Warehouse 4." Blake said as she pointed out the warehouse to Sun. "Let's check it out, but first we should send a text message to everyone to tell them to head over because I have a bad feeling about this." Blake explained before pulling out her scroll.

A quick message later and Blake found herself running towards the entrance to Warehouse 4. Cracking open the door, she peaked in and saw a large gathering of Faunus in casual clothes but bearing White Fang masks. Hearing Sun land behind her, she backed up and allowed him to get a look inside.

"That looks pretty bad, what should we do?" He asked as he backed up from the door. To which Blake put her hand on her chin as she began to think.

"Here's what we do." She began as she took off her bow, letting her cat ears be revealed to the world once again as she moved them for good measure.

Blake and Sun had successfully snuck into the crowd of mask-wearing faunus. Blending in was extremely easy since the only uniform the mob was wearing were the Fang masks, which they turned out to be handing out. Standing next to each other in 'uniform', Sun and Blake silently waited for whatever everyone else was gathered here for. A light buzz of conversation filled the room as the mob continued to converse with one another, revealing the group to be less of a disciplined unit and more of a civilian mob.

Soon enough, the lights in the majority of the warehouse dimmed until a sole light on a pseudo-stage remained at full power. This caused the mob to quickly go silent as they waited in quiet anticipation of what was to come. Pretty soon, footsteps could be heard, and a black dress shoe connected to black dress pants entered the spotlight. The figure this was connected to wasted no time in revealing himself before the crowd revealing none other than Roman Torchwick.

"Roman Torchwick?" Questioned a stunned Sun. "Why is he here and leading a group of White Fang no less?" He continued. Turning to gauge Blake's reaction, he turned only to find the cat faunus missing. Quickly looking around, it only took him a second to notice the new body that was on stage.

On the stage, Blake had one of the blades of her weapon, Gambol Shroud, held against Roman's neck as she held him from behind. Mildly regretting taking such a rash course of action, Blake had no choice but to live with her decision as she discarded her mask and addressed the crowd.

"My fellow Faunus of the White Fang, why are you helping this criminal with endeavors that are only going to end up harming innocents?" She questioned out into the crowd. Her question seemed to disarm some of the crowd, while others began to vocally express their reasoning. This combined into a cruel cacophony of noise that weakened Blake's resolve for a moment.

"You don't seem to understand, little girl." Roman finally chimed in with cocky tone. "Me and the Fang are currently in a joint business venture." He revealed with a smirk as Blake moved her blade closer to his neck.

"What kind of venture?" She questioned, beginning to get a sinking feeling in her stomach.

"One that's much bigger than you could ever imagine." He hinted as he pulled the trigger on his staff, which happened to have its end pointed at the ground beneath them. The result was an explosion that sent Blake flying back and Roman flying forward into the rapidly dispersing crowd. Laughing at his ingenious escape, Roman began to quickly make his way out of the building before being intercepted by a golden staff blocking his way.

"You're not going anywhere" said Sun as he threw off his mask, revealing his steely glare at the still-smirking Torchwick.

"Hoho, you really have no idea who you're messing with." Roman chuckled out as he got into position to fight the monkey faunus.

-GoR-

Having received the text from Blake telling them that something odd was going on, Mori and Seraphina began to leisurely make their way towards the docks to avoid drawing undue attention.

"Hey, are you sure you're good to fight?" Seraphina asked her partner. "I didn't see the specifics because of confidentiality but you looked pretty messed up both times I brought you to the infirmary." She expressed with a look towards him.

"Yeah, I'm 100% fine. Honestly, I actually feel better than ever recently." The monkey faunus said as he clenched a fist in front him as if you perpetuate his point. "Thanks for being concerned with me though, it's nice to know that you care despite being so robotic sometimes." He joked as he began to laugh at the unamused expression that crossed her face.

"Speaking of being robotic, you used to dress the exact same way with not a hair out of place every day, but recently you started doing your hair differently. Is there a reason for that?" Mori asked in genuine curiosity.

"Oh this?" She said, running a hand through her free-flowing locks. "I decided to try doing what I want from now on and while the freedom feels good, I think I'm gonna cut it short because it seems bad for combat." She said, imagining the various ways enemies and grimm could take advantage of the length.

"Makes sense, I'm not one to judge but I'm happy as long as it's what you wanna do." Mori said, locking his hands behind his head as he continued walking.

A loud series of explosions interrupted their chat, causing them to turn to each other and wordlessly agree to start sprinting at full speed. Those explosions didn't sound good and what's worse is that they were coming from the direction of the dock.

-GoR-

When he stuck his staff in front of Roman Torchwick, Sun imagined engaging him in a short but rewarding engagement that ended with him on top. Was that still the plan? Yep. Was it going how he envisioned with his complete victory? Work in progress. He mentally checked off as he dodged a high swing from Roman's staff, only to catch a left hook for his trouble.

The left hook held more power than expected as it carried Sun a couple feet back before he could regain his balance. Upon regaining his balance, the blonde monkey faunus only had an instant to react as he found the business end of Roman's staff pointed at him.

"Is that all you got, banana bread?" Roman taunted as he pulled the trigger. Quickly jumping to his right, Sun narrowly avoided what looked like a flare that created a smoking crater upon reaching the ground.

'Don't get hit by that!' Sun mentally shouted to himself as he began a sick game of dodgeball where the balls were flare-like explosives. His natural agility lent itself well to this sort of activity and he leveraged it to it's limit as he gradually drew closer to the stationary Roman. Finally dodge-rolling towards Roman, Sun flowed into a drop kick that connected with Roman's jaw. The results were immediate as Torchwick found himself on his back, dazed from the impact of the rapid attack. Regaining his bearings, Roman had to roll to dodge Sun's staff slamming down where he was a moment before.

Sun's position didn't allow him to react fast enough however as Roman fired a shot at the completion of his roll. This shot exploded directly on Sun's chest, sending the monkey faunus flying with a yell of pain.

Laughing in triumph as he stood up, Roman heard his name called out from the direction he just blasted Sun into only to see two more kids, one of them holding the faunus. Seraphina and Mori had arrived and the blank expression on Mori's face did little to hide the anger he was about to unleash on Roman.

"As much as I would love to play with you kids, I have things to do, people to meet, you get it." He said in a tone dripping with sarcasm as he pressed a button pulled from one of his jacket pockets.

At first, nothing happened but about thirty seconds later, a distant sound of whirring could be heard. A minute later, three bullheads could be seen approaching. Given another minute, a small army of White Fang, each equipped with basic weaponry, emerged from the bullheads behind Roman.

"You kids be sure to have fun and make sure to be home before the street lights come on!" Torchwick said as he retreated into the mob of Fang members.

Taking the time Roman spent prepping to get the incapacitated Sun into a safe place, Seraphina returned to Mori's side to face down the unit before them.

"Mori! Seraphina!" They heard from behind, causing both to turn and acknowledge their slightly scratched, but otherwise fine feline friend.

"Blake! What happened to you?" Seraphina asked as Mori turned back to stare at the group, his gaze making them wary of attacking.

"I almost ended up on the wrong end of Torchwick's weapon but a good jump and use of my semblance saved me from too much damage." She explained "What happened to Sun? I saw him engage Torchwick right before I got mobbed by the more violent attendees." She asked with a little concern for the blonde.

"He's safe, but he's hurt so we should deal with this first so we can get him some help." She said, gesturing to the slowly encroaching mob.

With no more to be said, both groups charged at each other, and when they clashed, the result was almost immediate from the start. Despite being quantitatively outmatched, the small group of students quickly began to overwhelm the Fang. Splitting off into three separate bunches, the students began to engage the Fang in 1 vs 20 engagements instead of 3 vs 60.

With Mori, each punch and kick carried enough power to not only deplete their aura in one hit, but also send the recipient of such a hit flying. By the end of his group, the enemy was reluctantly approaching him only to meet the same fate as the rest. The most intimidating part was Mori's unchanging blank expression as he did so, burning anger not depleting in the least. Having finished first, Mori directed his attention to his allies and noticed they were going through their groups with just as much ease.

With Seraphina, her combat style was better suited to one-on-one engagements, but this didn't mean her group fighting abilities were any less stellar. Through careful use of her semblance, she avoided taking any hits by timing her time-stops to right before an attack landed and striking her opponents to similar results as her partner. Mixing this with the use of her dagger, primed with lightning dust, either ended with her opponents sent flying or left in a numb mess of static on the ground. She noticed something off about these people, however…

With Blake, opting to end this as quickly as possible, she decided to use her semblance. Slightly retreating so her enemies would line up, Blake began to charge them. Instead of attacking, however, Blake user her superior agility to dodge past each of them, leaving a shadow in her path. Reaching the last enemy, Blake pulled out a small crystal of explosive dust and threw it at the feet of the last enemy. The results were instantaneous as the explosion chained to the shadows she left behind, due to her infusing her semblance with explosive dust, leading to the dangerously efficient defeat of her group. The ease with which she dispatched them left her uneasy however as she approached a knocked-out acolyte. Lifting his mask to confirm her suspicions, she gasped at what she saw.

Instead of seeing the battle-hardened face of a veteran warrior like she wanted to expect, she was met with the innocent face of someone who looked like this was their first battle.

This caused her anger with the villainous Torchwick to grow as he continued to weaponize her own people against her. A loud crash behind her caused her to turn around in time to see a giant mech emerge from behind a set of crates. The mech had a pod in the middle of it, with two large legs that bent backwards to support it. The arms were on both sides of the pod and were equipped with a machine gun and grenade launcher, respectively. Upon closer inspection, the person sitting in the cockpit was none other than Roman Torchwick.

"Hey kids! I decided to make a triumphant return with my handy friend from Atlas!" He said, using the mech to emote his actions to outwardly comedic effect.

Before Torchwick could get a response from his opponents, three more figures entered the field. The figures of Weiss, Yang and Ruby entered the fray, weapons out and ready to battle.

"Whoa! That's a little bigger than I expected Torchwick to be in person." Yang quipped at the sight of the towering mech.

"We're gonna need some kind of plan to take that down…" Ruby remarked as Roman seemed to be trying to figure out the controls to the mech.

"I have a plan." Mori spoke for the first time in a while, yellow cross-haired eyes glued to the figure of Roman. "Ruby and Blake, you two will run decoy and draw his fire since you're the fastest. Weiss and Seraphina, you two have the best use of Dust and Semblances that can immobilize it so do that while he's distracted. Yang, you take advantage of the distractions and immobility to tear off as many of those limbs as you can. I'll handle Roman." The monkey faunus said, tone even and eyes focused the entire time.

They all began to move upon seeing Mori retreat to the backline, every one of them thinking one thing: Mori Jin is fearsome when made angry.

Seeing the monkey faunus retreating, Roman decided to try and goad him. "Hey, where do you think you're going? I got a bunch of bananas for you right here!" He said as he raised his machine gun to shoot at the retreating figure. Blake suddenly entered his vision, held to his cockpit by a well-placed stab by Gambol Shroud, blocking his vision from the retreating faunus.

"Where do you think you're looking?" She asked playfully as she suddenly vanished, leaving behind a shadow that had a glowing core. "Ruby!" She called out as her leader took the hint and let loose a sniper round right into the shadow, causing it to explode, knocking the mech onto its backside.

"Gah! You stupid pussy cat, just wait your turn!" complained the villain as he attempted to make the mech stand up. He found himself unable to and as the smoke from the explosion cleared, he found the reason why. Seraphina had her weapon stabbed deep into the joint of his left leg, pulling the trigger on her dagger, and causing electricity to flow into the exposed joint. The other leg was held in place by a large crystal of ice that rendered him unable to move it. The cause appeared to be the Weiss, standing a short distance away, rapier stabbed into the ground with a large glyph slowly disappearing from below the effected limb.

"Yang! Now!" Called out Weiss as the tank of Team RWBY revealed herself to be barreling towards the immobilized legs. A quick one-two combo accompanied by shotgun blasts courtesy of Ember Celica made quick work of the right leg of the mech, sending a cacophony of warning alarms into Roman's ears. Those alarms only increased in frequency when Yang repeated the process with the electrified left leg.

"You foolish children have no idea who you're messing with!" Roman called out, attempting to stand himself up on his still-functioning arms. He succeeded in standing himself up and slightly raised his grenade launcher arm before a staff came flying straight at him. The staff came flying with such velocity that it nailed Roman in the stomach and sent him flying through the back of the armored mech and into the unforgiving concrete, creating a small crater on impact.

The sudden attack caught all of the students off guard as they turned to see the source, only to see Mori standing stop a warehouse about a hundred feet back. The oddest part was that he was standing in a position that indicated he had just thrown a kick; the indication was clear to everyone present as they turned to the incapacitated Torchwick.

Mori finally let out a breath of relief as sirens could be heard rapidly approaching the scene, the battle was finally over.

-GoR-

Roman was angry.

He was so close to having his hands on an absolutely massive supply of Schnee Dust Company dust and for some reason, a group of students decided to intercept him. Not only did they intercept him, they stopped him AND destroyed his prototype Atlas Paladin.

As he sat in his jail cell pondering how he ended up here, he failed to notice that the guard the regularly marched a path in front of his room marched no more. He only realized something was off when a sizzling noise made its way to his ears and his cell door fell open.

"Oh, how nice of you to come for me." Roman said, tone dripping in sarcasm as the diminutive figure before him smirked as the orange light from her eyes died down.

To Be Continued in Volume 2!

*Destruction Siblings = Smash Bros
A.N: First of all, I wanna apologize for being a week and one day late with this chapter. I thought that I'd have a lot more time to write but between calc 2, Friends, League of Legends, and improper sleep it has been a movie.

Moving on to the chapter, I honestly had fun writing this chapter although it took a bit to think about. I wanted to deviate a bit from canon since I personally hated how Blake and her team handled the situation. I can understand her thinking that her team would be distrustful of her, but I think they're all mature enough to see that Blake only had good intentions.

Moving onto Mori and Seraphina, I'm not intending on making Mori use Kinto'un too much in the story, but I'll definitely have him use it for more utility that just lightning strikes. As for his memories, they play a very large role in the course of the story so I'm not intending on having them show up again for a long time yet. The peach and the heat issue were just to give him an excuse to have access to a little of his power and by extension, Yeoui/Ruyi Jingu without just him being like 'oh yeah! No recoil anymore!'. Seraphina is a character I'm wary of handling but I'm excited to do more with. Her character development from being under her mother's thumb to her own person is a gradual change and I hope I'm doing it well. I'm trying to think of more creative ways to have her use her (in my opinion) overpowered ability. I try to balance it by giving it a high aura cost, forcing her to get creative with it's use but I'll definitely figure something out to make her Vytal festival fights interesting.

On the pacing, I'm happy to be done with Volume 1 because Volume 2 is really where characters were allowed to grow and a lot more stuff happens, I think. I feel like I dashed through Volume 1 but at the same time, there isn't too much that actually happens due to the shortness of the episodes for really only 3 story arcs. I'd love to hear feedback from you guys on this though because I can try and flesh out more characters if you want me to.

Damn this is getting long so I'll end it after this but what do you guys think of pairings? Personally, I like pairings, but I would rather keep this story focused on the themes of friendship and trust that are at the core of both GoH and RWBY.

Anyways I'll call it here. Thank you for reading this far into GoR and please review if you can. I like to hear feedback on what you guys wanna see and personally, it makes me more motivated to write. No pressure, though. With that, I'll see you guys in 2 weeks or less with the next chapter!

P.S: Would you guys like actual Page Breaks or do you still want the -GoR- as a scene separation?
