Announcement:
I know I left Chapter 11 as a minor cliffhanger, but most would be explained in this as it would be a few months later than the date as to when the "Tiger" Episode is.
Let's just say that I won't spoil too much, but whenever Camelia holds that talisman at some point… A surprise would be in store and other things to balance her out and leave it at that until you read the chapter itself.
And there are reasons why I added specific characters and a hint within the previous chapter itself is what might be coming in some development chapters to my other story: Beauty and the Witch Sister, for those that didn't figure it out.
And I have decided at least Jade would have a shared girl or two with her being Camelia's alpha soulmate, and if you recall that gemstone in the "Monkey" Chapter? It will have a specific meaning when Chapter 13 is out as well.
And if you are wondering if specific characters will have their soulmates, or pairings that are canon or interesting (due to ideas from people), then yes, that may occur.
I also don't want to spoil things, but keep in mind what the Tiger Talisman has as an ability, as I have plans for future chapters, with Camelia doing stuff to make it work better when she holds it, and no… Not going to spoil that tidbit of information as you will have to guess or estimate what my idea for that will be, but I can spoil this: When she is older, she can use the actual abilities of the talismans without issues and reuse specific ones, but some of them she has to train in and others, she would be able to already know how to use.
Anyways, enjoy the chapter as I had to keep repeating the episode (like the others) over and over until I got it right, and I am still in the debate about what houses she and Jade will end up in, but I know for a fact they are not going into "The House of Lions".
Saturday on February 3rd of 2000, at a fair somewhere in Texas, around noon in Texas time:
Camelia sighed with her recalling things as she, Jade, and Jackie prepared for the pie-eating contest in ten minutes, at this county fair within the heart of Texas itself.
Frank, Nails, and Lonette were able to get back to Cool World with Ophis agreeing, after learning that the female toon herself was her Hatchling's Aunt from her Blood-Surrogate father, James. Section 13 also agreed to maybe ally with Cool World and Earth, and with the toons themselves appointing select individuals to represent as not only ambassadors but also as agents-in-the-making for the 25 Sections.
New Year was a hit and blast, and with Ophis eventually being shown whom Camelia has been speaking too, to which said Demon Sorcerers hid the urge to sweat or be fearful of her presence, and made agreements to which she raised an eyebrow for at understanding they were keeping things from her Hatchling until it was time, and even meeting with the other person as well she brought back and forth to where she dwelled in her homely verse.
Speaking as such, both Jade and Camelia got gifts, to which the Potter Child knew her new friend was possibly enjoying herself until she got back, from the gift Ophis gave her, amongst other things.
Camelia's bodyguard, Seras, was currently at the Section 13 Base alongside her other two servants (Amelia and Mike), and the two Demon Sorcerers themselves.
They were looking further into things as to what may have occurred and transpired, alongside their secretive projects they refused to reveal to any agent or even Captain Black, and Camelia strangely always had either Clara with her and placing things to make the grimoire herself pleased with having wonderful holders, and also that odd gemstone that she had in her pocket from the time of finding the Monkey Talisman, and the one ruby she still used as a worry stone of sorts, with the gemstone within her now modified bag to resemble that of a carry-on travelers backpack in green and black accents and colors, and silvery zippers as each pocket are endless and can hold a thousand things, and automatically shrinking things as well to go into them.
Anyways besides her improved bag, Camelia has been very hungry as of late and consumes five or so meals between breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the food is mostly meat and little vegetables.
The child herself guessed it had to do with her inheritance from a more in-depth clarification by her mother as to what she might expect: More physical and empowering changes, and depending on her parents of both Blood-Surrogate, By Blood, and By Biological Blood. As in possible new looks and improvements, she might end up unlocking as, yes, she even met her "Beast" thanks to her mother as well, which she chose to name herself Relina, for unknown reasons.
And speaking of her Sanctuary, she was able to introduce Jade to Skuld one time, and the two oddly hit it off as instant friends, and soon learned from her that Jade was reincarnated thrice over, and like her, at eleven, she would recall all of them yet still be here, and even went into her Inner Sanctuary with seeing Jade's appeared in an easy distance of leaping.
They couldn't understand as to how they could do this yet Skuld held a knowing gleam to her eyes when they asked her, and she simply shrugged it off and stated it might have to do with Camelia's parents.
Speaking of that, Ophis did send a message to the one cursed and blessed man, and he was currently having his servants out and about, looking into what went over nearly all their heads of otherworldly realms, to find them, which one of Camelia's gifts was from the man by an unusual book to which was locked, and another detailing the creatures of other realms and their own.
The two children also continued their spellwork, schooling, and training with not only Jackie but with Seras herself when Ophis ordered to train them as well before she left, stating she would also be bringing some to what she called, comrades, on her next visit by either willing or forcible means, and her younger sister that she brought beforehand as both her Hatchling and her, hit it off splendidly.
Speaking of allies, Ironmouse left with her mansion and servant Bubi, to somewhere closer to which was within the American aspect of things, within Puerto Rico at some place, and promised to visit with also offering a few others to as well, much to Captain Black's and a few others ire of knowing more changes would be coming, especially learning that she was called a "Vtuber" by the Mortal Community in different times in the future of sorts, but only on her times during her streams.
To terms, this also intrigued Camelia on that idea in the far future as currently, she wasn't mentally prepared for that, from what her mother started when Ironmouse offered her that chance and agreed to wait until she was a bit sounded in mind, and older.
Speaking of being prepared, they gave Ophis the tablet since she told her child or to her terms, her hatchling, she might know someone who could understand the language and when she came back with her comrades, would give her child the translation alongside the missing half of their tablet, and told them that the armor is more than it seemed.
That made Jackie and those that were adults, a bit worried as the Nothing Drake said housed not one, but three entities within it with one of them being the one she made a deal with.
Speaking of terms, Uncle was trusted enough to not be judgemental of how Camelia got the book, but she told him the demon that possessed Jade a long while ago, didn't give out the name to unsatisfied Uncle at that, but was rather glad at the book not being tainted or tainted dark, to her own words and allowed her to still keep it… Even though Clara ate the book to gain the knowledge it had from Jade upsetting the enchanted book one time within Camelia's reading presence.
Let's say that the two then had a prank war that Section 13 had to clean up, and leave it at that, and with everyone getting involved in the antics for at least a few days, and that Viper left to find another artifact within Africa after New Years.
So all in all, things were decently fine for Camelia and her friends, and as she thought of her interesting time with the Chans, gently rubbing the ruby gemstone within her pocket, Deathwing calmed her down from the child's sense that at some point, something unexpected or bad was going to happen in a day.
She was brought out of her thoughts with her looking to Jade, which she was sheepish at accidentally scaring Camelia, as she told her and hid her amusement by hearing Camelia's stomach rumble gently, "The contest is going to happen soon. Ready to go?"
"Yes…" Camelia states with her gently smiling at Jade, as lately, she was able to speak a bit better without having to rasp things out and knew at some point, she could have one of her dreams revealed to the world: Able to speak like everyone else, among other things.
Hearing Camelia's stomach rumble again made Jade briefly frown before sighing out as it was Camelia's turn to be sheepish and rubbing the back of her head at her friend's words, "You forgot to eat before we left, didn't you?"
"Yes… Was not… Intentional… Jade." Camelia told her with her drinking some enriched water she brought in her small endless-flowing thermos that was laced with some minerals and a few other things specially made by Faolan, for her needs in terms for her body to not only have a healthy nutritional value (with random flavors) but also to heal her at times if she overdoes it, as the one of many drinks she placed into her mother's gifted thermos.
"Alright, if you say so," Jade tells Camelia unsurely still believing her as the two were soon next to Jackie at the long pie-eating-contest table that was out in the open, and with Camelia being disguised as a normal-looking version of herself as well while they were in Texas, alongside Jade having her own tail as a furry belt.
Of course, it didn't help that Jackie was using a fork before the contest to start at his spot to try and find the last talisman: The Tiger, and with both girls, near him, as he told them, "The Tiger Talisman is hidden inside one of these pies."
"Psh," Jade began with an amused smirk, "Piece of cake…" She scrunched up her face to make Camelia amused look as she tried to correct herself with Jackie listening to his niece as he still stabbed the pies, to which from the smell itself, was blueberry cream, "Umm, pie." She then held the contestant numbers two to four as he glanced at the two girls, "Can we just try and do the contest, since Amy forgot to eat, and Mr. Greenjeans is our only competition."
Camelia looked away while silently whistling by Jackie's look to her by Jade's words, and merely shook his head, along seeing an old man placing his dentures into his mouth and looking excited to compete in this contest, and yet before he could say anything, they all glanced to see that Tohru showed and sat awkwardly down in his chair and grabbing another to fully sit while wearing the number five contestant logo on his white shirt, and gave them looks as Jade sat next to Jackie, and Camelia awkwardly sat on the other side of the large sumo man.
"Maybe Tohru didn't leave room for dessert?" Jade warily tells Jackie as he fully placed himself within his seat while the trio got their logos on their clothing too.
Camelia jumped as the county fair judge blew his whistle as they began to eat their pies, seeing Tohru easily devouring all but the metal pan lids each pie had, and with Camelia impressing both Jackie, Jade, and the ongoing crowd of also devouring hers by placing them wholly into her mouth and having licked-clean pie pans placed into piles.
After what felt like Camelia's 67th pie, they all turned when the old man brought forth his dentures to reveal the Tiger Talisman itself lodged into the jaws.
Camelia and Jade moved out of the way with no one seeing Camelia's tongue cartoonishly lengthened and snatched up all the remaining pies and easily devoured them, as Jackie raced quickly on top of the table and made an apology to the old man while taking the talisman from his dentures with Tohru in hot pursuit, and the two kids behind the sumo after, with Jade dragging her friend with her.
It was then a pie-throwing action thanks to Jade that everyone played in with her throwing the pie at the sumo man himself, and him throwing it right at the judge's face, to which he grabbed a pie and threw it at a random woman, and chaos then issued after.
The trio then fled into the hayfield while the sumo man blinked at seeing he won the game, thanked them quickly, and took off after them after getting at least one picture taken of eating eighty-eight pies, but lost them.
Later on, Camelia looked sheepish as her stomach rumbled more to make Jackie groan yet thankful his fund for her, was from Augustus Black himself from the Section 13 funds, which was limitless by the way, at getting her and Jade food from a McDonald's beforehand and was eating it on the plane that was flying back to California.
Though, Camelia's was closer to at least or close to thirty, one-dollar-based menu double burgers without onions, of course.
I still don't know where she places that much food, Jackie thought with him shaking his head, as he did purchase the toys based on the movie: Tarzan, by Disney as such for them, and held the Tiger Talisman out of Camelia's reach to which, she didn't want to touch it, from fearing she might end up as a monster or worse.
Jackie and Jade agreed to at least wait and see if she would want to hold it once they get back, as, from a confession, they found out recently of the fears she has from a week ago.
Large bodily water to which she doesn't know how to swim, enclosed or tight spaces, not being able to at least hear her voice (which was recent), fear of not being accepted by those she calls kin or family, and a few others as most were due to her abuse.
They were blinking in growing amusement as once Camelia ate her last burger, she immediately passed out in constant purrs of content to which Jackie gave a quick look to Jade as she had a black marker in hand, and made her groan at not being able to pull another prank, "Jade. The last time you tried that, it was worse for everyone and thankfully, the ink was washable."
"I know, but this is a perfect opportunity to do it again." Jade complained to her uncle to which he shook his head, no, and told her firmly to make her casually toss the pen aside, "No means no, Jade."
"Well, at least we got the Tiger before the Big Guy could," Jade admits to Jackie to get him to nod, "As well as most of the other twelve… Well, ten out of twelve talismans from the Dark Hand."
"True, Jade. True." Jackie agreed as he pocketed the talisman with them being startled by the unexpected softly and slightly quiet screech-like chittering from Camelia as her eyes were rapidly moving while she slept, but relaxed after to get him to think, And another thing I am not still used to.
A few nights ago, Jade was freaked out by Camelia's new sleeping habit that from what Uncle and even Faolan told her and those wanting to know, that it was normal, as Jade proved it to her friend as she recorded her, with Camelia's permission, and paid Jade five bucks after learning of that habit, and her purring too.
Meanwhile at the Darkhand Headquarters, a few hours later, Shendu was berating Valmont at this point, "After nine centuries… All twelve talismans have been recovered, and I only possess only two…" they jumped by the exclaimed end words to the Darkhand, "While Jackie Chan possesses ten! You have failed me, Valmont!"
"Now, Shendu," Valmont began to state in a calm manner and posture while also trying to reason with the Demon Sorcerer in stone, "Just because Chan has them locked away in Section 13, doesn't mean that we won't find-" Shendu stopped him right there as his rage was growing by what the platinum-blonde mortal man was telling him, "The Chinese New Year approaches! I must have all twelve talismans before then. If you wish to lay your hands on the treasure, you need to improve."
"Tohru!" Valmont decreed in order as the large man came forth, and firmly declared while gripping his sword-cane, "Bring me, Jackie Chan!" As the sumo man left, Valmont firmly stated to himself then with Shendu, if he could, would have rolled his demonic eyes, "He will reveal the location of Section 13."
Back at Uncle's Shop, Jade was being sneaky with Camelia right behind her as she reached her hand into the treats basket that was on the counter-table as she declared to herself, as Jackie was in Uncle's study with the old man himself, "Chinese New Year rocks! Especially the sweets!"
Jade handed Camelia a bag as she had, but hers was blue and was about to open hers until Jackie told them, mainly Jade from seeing she was influencing Camelia, "Jade. Two more days until New Year." They saw he was sitting in Uncle's movable wheeling seat for his desk and gazing at them in a mix of being firm and amused, as Jade groaned a bit loudly as she placed her and Camelia's sweets back seeing her friend briefly frown for a moment or two at this, as this was her first time participating in their holiday, but still was learning about it too and figured what would be wrong at eating at least one sweet.
"Ha-Cha!" Uncle declared to get Jackie's focus to him with Hade and Camelia soon eavesdropping from his declaration of finally translating the Tiger Talisman, "Jackie! The Tiger Talisman possesses the power of balance." Jackie was rather perplexed by that before a speedy blur took it from Uncle's hands, and worried Camelia as she came into the room, from watching Jade easily parkour onto the highest stack and begin standing on one leg on them, "Cool! So whoever has it can't lose their balance!"
She tripped and luckily Jackie caught her, to Camelia's relief as he corrected her then, "The kind of balance your parents in Hong Kong sent you here to learn." Jade gave him an irked look at that, to which Uncle agreed as he explained further as Camelia glanced at the talisman warily, with the old man raising a finger to prove a fact, "Within every one of us, lies conflicting forces. Yin and Yang." As Jade held it and saw his fingers point to parts of the duo of tigers on the item, "Light and Darkness. Good and Evil."
Jade though didn't believe that as she stated, which Camelia had an unexpected bad feeling of her words, "Like Jackie has a dark side." Jackie then kneeled next to Jade, "I do have a dark side," Jackie began to state humorously to his niece as he snatched the talisman from her hand, "Her name is Jade." Jade soon made a minor drum-solo sound before starting to state, "Balance? That isn't even a real power."
"Good! Then I will enjoy taking this powerless talisman to Section 13, so we can put this quest to rest" Jackie told them all with Camelia having the sudden urge to nab it from Jackie's hands, but kept it at bay due to her fear of what might happen if she touched the item itself.
Uncle had his hands behind his back as Jackie left the study, by telling Jade with Camelia following Jackie as well, with a smile and making Jade inwardly groan to herself, "While Jade will enjoy making tea for dear old Uncle."
As those two were distracted, Jackie went, huh, when he noticed the Tiger Talisman gave off a mischievous glint of sorts to which caught Camelia's eyes, as it cracked as uncle explained for Yin and Yang, "Cracked… How did-" it was then he recalled the old man and shook his head, yet before he could, he went, hey, before stilling at seeing Camelia's eyes were glowing green once again as she nabbed it and… Nothing happened with her eyes going back to normal and ignored the female hissing laughter within her head, or Deathwing berating her Beast at her antics of wanting to get things done already as he gently grabbed the Tiger Talisman from her hold.
Though unseen by both of them, her arm was finally finished with the last talisman she touched and siphoned into her.
Without warning as he did so, with her witnessing things, the split Tiger Talisman split further as both halves glowed, and Jackie was covered in a white-like aura, which made her silently gasp at seeing two Jackie's were made.
This is not going to end well at all… Camelia thought with feeling her Beast and Deathwing, especially sensing Skuld was watching things at this moment, felt they all agreed at once, as both Good and Bad Jackie held opposite heads like a mirror, near the one archway Uncle, was researching into to which there wasn't one present in the room.
They both exclaimed, whoa, before copying movements to then make Camelia sweatdrop to herself at how stubborn her Sensei was, and stated to themselves, at the same time, "Eh, Mirror." It was then they both noticed and said at the same time once again, and made Camelia nearly falter in her steps to head over yet stayed as it seems both Good and Bad Jackie temporarily forgot she was even in the room, "Where's the other half?"
They both then got up and moved away from each other, making things difficult as to whom to follow more, for the Potter Child.
While Good Jackie was wondering around in worry, Camelia made her choice as she saw Bad Jackie headed over to the sweets and with a smirk and a tongue lick around his lips, was about to take Jade's Candy Bag before getting three-clawed-finger slapped by her to get a glare from Bad Jackie yet was repulsed by an unexpected shield that showed when he tried to do it back to her.
Meanwhile, as Bad Jackie shrugged the Potter Child off for helping him up, Good Jackie eventually glanced down after hearing something break under his foot and saw he stepped on a cockroach, and headed into the study with Camelia overhearing things from her ears yet still followed Bad Jackie with her, reluctantly, stunning him yet he didn't say thanks at all by giving him her sweet bag instead of Jade's, as he headed into the kitchen.
In odd coincidences, Jade was back with more oolong tea with her sighing out loudly so the old man could hear him, alongside some fresh orange slices as well, "Tea is ready dear Uncle." Jade dropped the tea and oranges on the tray she was carrying to be shocked as Bad Jackie was eating Camelia's candy right in front of her, alongside a few other sweets that were a mix of hers and Jade's.
"Jackie! That's our candy!" She exclaimed to which he looked like he didn't care at all and headed into the kitchen, and with Bad Jackie declaring opening while rubbing her head with a smirk, "Not anymore. Got milk?" He then went past her and headed into the kitchen.
Before Jade could ask Camelia as she saw something was up, Uncle came at this precise timing and backed away from his study, for once being freaked out a bit by declaring to them, "Jackie's a crybaby." Jade though told the old man with her crossing her arms in an irked pout, "He's such a jerk."
Uncle raised an eyebrow as he had his hands on his hips by Jade's words, and with Camelia seeing Bad Jackie ate some, shrugged and at least took a few Twix Bars from the basket by watching both Uncle and Jade, "He's in the library crying all over my research." Jade disagreed yet was puzzled with mixed emotions by telling him, pointing, "No. He's in the kitchen, raiding the fridge."
The two pondered a moment before calling Jackie by his name, and both Good and Bad Jackie came out from where they went to stun the two, freaking them out as Bad Jackie did have some milk and burped rudely, making Good Jackie notice, looked at each other, and freaked out equally with Bad Jackie dropping the milk carton.
Jade glanced back and forth and seeing Camelia raise an eyebrow as if she knew all the time, made her have a payback-based look for later as Uncle began to think with a hand to his chin.
Moments later, they were all in his study with Uncle looking back into the translation book and muttering to himself so they could hear him at least, in trying to explain to himself and the two girls, "The talisman broke. Jackie's Yin was separated from his Yang."
"Well… Jackie Light and Jackie Dark," Jade hesitated to state then and there, recalling the minor lesson with them turning to Good Jackie as he began to start bawling a bit with Bad Jackie looking irritated while crossing his arms, "I am the Dark Side! I murdered a bug!" Jade though went up to Bad Jackie and accused him then with a finger, "You're the side that ate my and Amy's candy?" His only response was a wordless, smug-based look.
"You're evil! Evil!" Jade still accused Bad Jackie to which he just kept his smug look at her as if, that wasn't anything, before Camelia stopped her friend to see the look on her friend's face, and sighed with a look of later, and his look of challenge, to mainly her.
"Not evil," Uncle corrected as he stood next to the two girls, holding Jade's shoulders at sensing her anger, "Just lacking solid judgment. Without his Good Half, he has no light side to guide him." He had his hand on Good Jackie before informing the two, "So, each of you has the other half of the talisman." Out of reluctance from Bad Jackie, he did show his half while Good Jackie showed his to please Uncle at the easy solution, "Good… You must join them together, to reunite into one Jackie."
"Me and wimpy?" Bad Jackie began with a way he didn't like this idea at all, and Good Jackie pleaded with Uncle then, "No, please! He burps out loud without saying excuse me!"
"You must restore balance!" Uncle decreed firmly and loudly to get both Jade and Camelia to wince equally as they hadn't seen Uncle this frustrated at all before, as he used both of his hands to give both Jackie's a double-two-finger slap to their foreheads, and with them stating an equal 'Ow' to each other.
Bad Jackie though had other ideas with both Jade and Camelia thinking this was karma to Uncle, as he got a finger-slap in return from him, and then it was back and forth between the two, and not only Good Jackie didn't know what to do, but also both Jade and Camelia as they watch the ongoing finger-slap-fest going on.
Camelia stilled as she heard a car screech outside and glanced at the window to see a familiar white car, and tried to get their attention to no avail, yet got Jade's as she for once was dragged by Camelia to the window to see it was the Enforcers.
"Uh, Jackie's?!" Jade tried to remain calm yet her tone was in growing worry, as it wasn't just them this time but a whole group of hired thugs as well, and making both Jackie's of both Good and Bad to say, uh oh, to each other, before stating in mixed messages then, at the same time, "The Darkhand!"
"Hide the talisman!" Uncle stated to both Jackie's as they did pocket them, and Jade spoke what Camelia was thinking to sign out to them, "What are we going to do?"
Next thing Camelia knew as Good Jackie dragged both her and Jade, fighting was issued within Uncle's Shop and Home, and were dragged into an alleyway yet shoved back inside from seeing the other half of the Enforcers and thugs were coming.
Jade saw Good Jackie soon was being chased by the thugs and Ratso, as she commented to herself while thinking, "Jackie Light is still packing Jackie's moves… Maybe I can guide him as he might need some Jade Dark to balance him out."
She saw Camelia looking fidgety as her gut-like feeling returned with her being the one to sense that they were being watched, but couldn't place where before Jade grabbed her and both girls took off after Good Jackie.
They soon managed to track and find Good Jackie near some fireworks in the city's festival celebrating Chinese New Year, and Jade and Camelia glanced at the fireworks before smirking at each other in equality at figuring out what they both had in mind, from seeing Good Jackie was cornered.
While they gathered fireworks, Camelia stilled and glanced sharply behind her to perplex Jade as they saw that white car coming to pick up Good Jackie, "What's wrong Amy?" Unseen by them and hidden, was another green-like fiery eyeball behind some chimney stacks close to them on the rooftops, and Camelia wordlessly shrugged as they then by their stealth training from both Viper and Seras, began to follow the thugs, Ratso, and Good Jackie.
Without warning, Good Jackie was puzzled by hearing sounds of gunshots as he got out of the car to investigate, with the thugs and Ratso thinking it was Section 13 shooting guns, before seeing Jade looking at him in a 'Come here' motion wordlessly to get him to nod, and was about to say something about the firecrackers lit on the ground before both Jade and Camelia dragged him by force into the alleyway.
Once they got to a decent distance, Jackie pulled the two girls back as he stated to them, "Girls! This is terrible!"
"I know, I know. I shouldn't be playing with fireworks," Jade hastily began with Good Jackie agreeing sternly at Jade, knowing she might have coaxed Camelia to her idea, "That's very true. But even worse, those bad men captured my other half!"
This made the two girls gasp while worryingly looking at each other before gazing back at Good Jackie as Camelia signed out to him, "We can't just sit here and do nothing… We need my cousin to help us!"
As they were running to where the entrance to Section 13 was, they didn't see a cloaked figure holding the flaming green eyeball before it dispersed back into the person, and vanished using a cloaked spell.
Once they arrived, Jade reminded Good Jackie about needing Section 13's aid to get Bad Jackie, which he wholeheartedly agreed with not seeing Camelia grab her head as it pounded for a few moments unexpectedly to confuse her before Jade went into the phone booth as it retracted and sped away into the base, and Good Jackie saw Camelia rub her head once again as that pounding sensation happened for another few moments yet before he could ask her if she was ok, Bad Jackie soon came out with holding a metallic box of sorts, and he hugged the Bad Jackie in glee, "Oh! You ok!"
It was then Good Jackie noticed the metallic box was a fishing lure box, and asked his darker half then, to which he only smirked, "You going fishing?" Bad Jackie's smug response to startling Good Jackie in realizing things, "Talisman Fishing."
"Oh! You're a bad boy!" Good Jackie tells him before he was roughly grabbed by Bad Jackie, as he growled out to his lighter half, "You're ugly!" He slammed Good Jackie a bit on the phone booth, and with Camelia feeling her headache was slowly going away, "Now, where is the other half of the tiger?"
Bad Jackie began to hastily search him before scowling at his lighter half and sent him right into the booth as it began to automatically send him into the base, and Camelia gulped at seeing his now smug face as he roughly grabbed her right arm, and told her then to make her slightly pale by his words to her, "Valmont is also going to pay me big time by bringing you in."
Eventually, after arriving at an alleyway Bad Jackie knew would be the meeting spot, and ignored Camelia's whimpering from feeling the headaches getting stronger, the sensation faded once again as Jade came around the corner to stop him, knowing something was up when she saw Camelia was also with him, "Wait! You can't do this! If the Darkhand gets all the talismans, then… Something bad is going to happen!" Bad Jackie was phased as he told her then, letting Camelia go to rub her wrist, "So?"
"But you're not evil? Remember? Uncle said that everyone has Yin and Yang," Jade began to try and reason with her split darker half of an uncle, with Camelia feeling like they were being watched once again, "You can't be all Yang-" He shoved her away by repeated the 'Yang' word to her three times, and in another verse as said canine sneezed, stated, doo-bee-doo-bee-doo.
Jade looked at her friend as she honestly didn't know what to do, and neither did Camelia, her trying to force herself to be alright as she felt another headache and this time, backache alongside some other parts of her body.
"Jackie…" Jade states to herself before she looked determined as she didn't want to do it, but she got Bad Jackie's attention as she truly high-jump kicked his face, and looked wary as it seemed she broke the sunglasses he stole from the one Enforcer.
Camelia soon grabbed her head and was leaning down with Jade not paying attention, as she ran from Bad Jackie with him looking ready to return the favor with a harsher jump kick until Good Jackie intervened as the duo began to fight against each other.
Camelia was seeing nothing but blurs as she did manage to feel Jade grab her with holding a metallic box of sorts, and hearing her say something yet the world was fading away from her vision until several minutes later, she felt Deathwing finally soothe her head to which she strangely felt it was temporary as she saw Jade had the talismans in plain sight, and before she could alert Jade, they were both grabbed alongside the talisman fishing box, and Jade cried out, catching both Jackie's attention, his name.
As both Jade and Camelia were kidnapped.
It was close to twenty or so minutes later that both Jade and Camelia were tied near some crates that looked like they were recently brought up, watching helplessly at Valmont placing all the talismans into Shendu, and counting as he did so.
It was then Valmont looked flustered when he placed one of the tiger talisman pieces into the final slot, he declared to them both, "Where is the other half of the Tiger Talisman?!" It was then Jade stilled with her not recognizing the voice from Shendu, thankfully, he muttered aloud to himself with a few hints of glowing red eyes, "I feel my powers returning, despite this."
"The statue can talk? You guys are working for a statue?!" Jade gasped out in being stunned with Camelia looking away from her friend before hearing Deathwing within her, stating, as she knew something was wrong, "Youngling! Your Beast is gone and was absorbed into your Inner Heart! Something is wrong and I am trying my best, but not for how long I can do so!" Tohru was up Jade's face at this point as he told her firmly, "Quiet!" He glanced upwards at Valmont at his expecting hand, and started to make the man facepalm to himself in irritation, "What?"
"Where is the other half?!" They both declared out to him to which Camelia while having pain all over her body, saw and heard Jade whistling and glanced at her feet to know she hid it within one of her shoes.
It was a few or so minutes later, Camelia did feel Shendu's eyes were on her for a few moments before they looked hazed as if he was looking into things, and told Valmont then, "Both Chan's are here and they do not possess the other half of the Tiger."
"Well, it must be-" Valmont began before he stilled, chuckled to himself, and glanced at both girls to make them wary, "Somewhere." As Valmont approached with his weapon drawn to try his methods, Jade exclaimed loudly to which both Good and Bad Jackie heard her calling them both by a single name in fear, they smashed the doors wide open, and Valmont while grabbing one of Jade's shoes, was kicked to at least a few feet or so away from them as both Jackie's untied the two girls, and his cane stopped glowing with electrical power as it was somehow broken by the unexpected kicks.
Valmont was enraged yet stilled before smirking at soon holding the other half of the Tiger Talisman within his left hand, and tossing Jade's shoe away.
"Stop him! He has all twelve!" Jade exclaimed as she tended to Camelia who was shivering and trembling in place from being in pain once again, as both Jackie's began to thwart Valmont, he would have succeeded at coming over to Shendu, if it wasn't for a high jump kick to his chest and sending him to a wall and leaning on it as the other half flew into the air, and by fated luck or coincidence, was in Camelia's clenching and open palm.
"Amy, you ok?" Jade asked worriedly as she saw her friend grit her teeth as a shadowy aura was around her friend's frame, and soon made Jade back-up as outside, the sky unexpectedly began to darken and soundless thunder shooting green lightning began to occur to perplex all but a select few within the entire city.
"Amy!" Jade cried out with both Good and Bad Jackie sharing an equally dreadful feeling as she raspily cried out with her hand flinging the talisman in sheer and perfectly timed aim, right into the missing slot of the Tiger Talisman on Shendu's stone body.
Valmont winced as he chuckled darkly as both Jackie's instantly merged as one, and headed over to catch Camelia as she passed out from being in pain, and was the one to notice her belly looked a slightly bit bloated as he decreed to them, an energy-based wind soon coming forth from where the statue was, "Game over, Chan… Way over!"
The statue then began glowing with bits of light coming from the stone itself as it soon became flesh, and the talismans being absorbed into it and reconfigured himself into his true and mighty form.
He, Shendu, was a humanoid mix of Chinese and European dragon demon, standing over twenty feet tall. He has greenish skin and red eyes and wore purplish Chinese shorts of sorts with burgundy accents around the hems.
Shendu then declared after taking a long-awaited breath of air, into the entire room with his arms wide open in glee, "I live!" He gazed at himself then, "At long last… My powers are restored. Speed, invisibility, astral projection…" as the Demon Sorcerer of Fire rambled onto himself at sensing his abilities in check, Jade warily told her uncle as he was worried as well while holding onto Camelia, "That thing is why Valmont wanted the talismans?!"
"And my personal favorite," Shendu's clawed hands began to glow as Jackie shoved with adrenaline running through his veins by tossing both Jade and Camelia away from him, as a fiery ball was heading to the man, "Combustion!"
Jackie soon fell from the new outside hole to where the windows were, with Jade calling out her uncle's name in fear and worry before the floor cracked and she too, began to fall. Jackie soon saw a rope as he fell, gripped it, and ignored the burning sensation as he was then on a window thing (don't know what they're called) and laned into it.
He then told the man to grab his legs, as he caught his niece by her left hand, and hoisted her up into the window thing as well.
Jackie then gave Jade his flip phone and told her to call Captain Black, as he then began to climb the rope holding the window thing with ease, "Once I reach the top, you head to the bottom." Jade pouted at this yet blinked, stilled, and recalled Camelia being up there and hiding the urge to grab her heart to make her worry for her friend once again.
Meanwhile, within the place where Shendu was, he eyed Camelia for a few moments with Valmont looking smug and prideful as the rest of the five Enforcers soon came to the area as well, and were holding back the urge to be stunned by Shendu's true form.
"Whoa... Shen-Dude!" Finn decided to exclaim to make Shendu himself smirk at them as Ratso warily greeted the Demon Sorcerer then, "Uh… Welcome to Earth?" The one with sunglasses then said something as well, but it went unheard of from Shendu briefly looking at Camelia as her eyes were doing things once again and the whimpers of being in pain still, were presently shown and smelled from his nostrils, and noticed the midsection looking a bit bloated to make him inwardly panic over that.
Shendu, however, turned sharply to Valmont as the man declared to get his point across, "Well, the office is in shambles, but the lost treasure should be more than enough to cover the cleaning deposit."
It was then Valmont was rather confused with growing anger and the Enforcers being wary by the male demon's words then in a way, he didn't care and yet was rather amused by the timing, "Regrettably, Valmont, you did not provide me with the talismans. Jackie chan did bring them, but was finished by the girl lying amongst us." In the end, his eyes were glowing with glinting amusement by seeing the fancy man's anger toward him.
"A technicality-" Valmont began after he soothed himself to calm down, before stilling as Shendu's head told him firmly next to his left ear within moments, "Read my lips: No treasure for you."
Valmont backed up with Shendu growling out in annoyance as he called forth Tohru to fight him, and with the sumo man being slightly fearful yet placing a brave front to do as he was ordered, Jackie was up to see this in time as he was soon levitated by Shendu, and was then reminding them by his words, "Need I remind you that I possess the power of levitation and super strength," at the end of the word, strength, he casually flicked Tohru as the large man hastily was flung from this building through a few doors, and landing into another with knocking him out, and some business people calling an ambulance.
Seeing the outcome, Valmont relented due to fearing for his life, and stated to the soon hissing laughter demon, "Fine, the treasure's yours."
It was at this moment that Jackie saw a downed electrical cable, and with his expertise in the martial arts, easily flung it right at Shendu's back to make him roar in surprising pain of being electrocuted by this, and the four Darkhand members covering their eyes from how bright it was.
As soon Jackie got into the area, Shendu soon shrugged it off and declared firmly in irritation and more to him, "You…" and from witnessing that, the four Darkhand members left as Shendu approached Jackie, as Jackie himself saw how in-pain Camelia was with seeing glimpses of her aura mixed with some type of bluish and shadowy one combined before it faded, as Jackie demanded warily to the demon, "Who- What are you!?"
"I am the keeper of the talismans," Shendu began to enlighten Jackie knowing he would end him soon, "I am the apocalypse of which legends speak, and I for once and for all," here his body began glowing a familiar energy Jackie began to run and dodge from, "You executioner!"
Jackie ran until he tripped and nearly got scorched by the combined powers of the Dragon and Pig Talisman to empower the dragon demon's flames from his maw, and landed on top of the rising elevator which held both Jade and Captain Black as Shendu huffed before walk-trudging over and easily picking up Camelia within his gentle grasp, and knew what was wrong as he senses she managed to completely touch all twelve of his talismans.
Meanwhile, in the elevator, Jade winced yet ignored the phantom pains from her heart as she led Augustas to the very room Shendu was in, "This way!"
Captain Black soon saw the demon as he was, with seeing he held his charge within his demonis hands with Jade as well, and stilled in shock as he was talking to himself from gently caressing Camelia's hair before deciding to take off with wingless flight out of the building, "Life has been hard for you, Youngling… My Niece. It would seem my judgment of this world will be swift to first locate your defilers, and then go on with my plans with you by my side."
Jade was the one who shouted after her friend in worry, despite learning the demon titled her as such, with tears falling down her face in haste, her true name, "Camelia!"
Captain Black only comforted her as she held onto him, and Jackie did manage to hear this and stated once again his famous words from seeing Shendu was long gone and with a close friend taken, "Bad day."
I am working on the last chapter for Season One of the show, so be patient, and then I am going to post what I have for Morgana after this repost, for many chapters possibly in either July to September of this year of 2022, and also specific other chapters of my other stories too.
