I know this is really dumb but I felt really bad for forgetting to put this at the beggining of last chapter. Hiro Mashima owns Fairy Tail the only thing I own is my OC's and my deppresion
Now with that out of the way, the thing about my posting schedule. I'll be posting every Tuesday and Sturday a new chapter. I want this story to go for at least 100,000 words and at the max 150,000. I would also like to apoligize for any future grammer issues I'm only one person and there is only so much one person can catch. I would love any constructive critisim and things that might not make sense in the story so I can fix it in the later chapters.

Chapter 2
"Wait, did you say Fairy Tail Wizards?" I exclaimed
"Yeah that is what I said" he spoke startled by my outburst
No way maybe it was just a coincidence there was no way I was in the world of my favorite manga, but I'll ask one more question to be sure.
"Is there a guild here called Fairy Tail?" I questioned
"Yeah there is" he said surprised by my question
I can't believe it I'm really in the world of Fairy Tail. It all makes so much sense why the town and name sounded familiar, their worlds currency, and the guild called Fairy Tail. Does this mean I have magic, but maybe not I just kind of woke up here maybe I have to be born with it.
"I know this might seem like a weird question" I started to say
"So far all you've asked have been weird questions" he said
I pretended I didn't hear him and continued on.
"But what is today's date?" I finished
"Uhhh, it is October 17th X784. Are you okay young man?" he said with concern
That confirms it I'm in the world of Fairy Tail.
"No I'm good thanks" I said making my way up to my room, and much as I want to sprint to Fairy Tail. I'm tired from walking all of midday and the guild is probably locked up, and if knowledge serves me right it's been two days since Lisanna had returned. I guess this means I can live my dream from when I was a child, it's settled tommorow morning I'm going to Fairy Tail and try to join the guild magic or not.
The next morning I woke to the sound of birds out my open window and the hustle and bustle of the town. I got up and went to the bathroom to start off my day .As I walked down the staris I handed my key to the elderly gentleman and thanked him again. After getting instructions to Fairy Tail from him I made my way. Also thankfully when you stay at this inn you get a free breakfeast.
I wonder if there is a way I can find out if I can use magic are not I thought, it would be so cool if I could. If I could I wonder what type of magic it is? As I was walking with my mind full of countless thoughts, I collided with something hard I then took a step back clutching my head.
"I'm so sorry I didn't excactly look where I was going"I apoligized lifting my head
As I took in the person I ran into, my mouth went dry I couldn't believe it, it was
"It's okay I was also partly to blame since I was doing the same thing" he spoke up
"Are you okay man it looks like you've seen a ghost...Wait are my clothes on" he exclaimed
"No your just in your boxers" I said with a stutter I couldn't believe it, the person was none other then Gray Fullbuster
"Damnit where did my clothes go" Gray said nervously looking for them
I then spoke up in, hindsight it was really weird but I didn't care I was talking with Gray the ice make mage
"I'll help you find them" I said
"Wait really, aren't you put off from seeing a random stranger in just their boxers?"he said questionly
"No really it's to be expected" I said knowing this was one of the quirks that made Gray, Gray
"You're a weird guy, but thanks I guess" he said
After a couple of minutes of retracing his steps Gray and I found all his clothes.
"Thanks again I appreciate it even though it was a weird request, now that I think about I never got your name I'm Gray Fullbuster" he said sticking out his hand
I then stuck out mine and firmly shaked it.
"I'm Chris Lockser" I said retracting my hand
"Wait did you just say Lockser? That's the same name as one of my guidmates, are you perhaps related to Juvia Lockser? Now that I think about it you guys have the same color hair" he said surprised
I mentally slapped my head, shoot I completly forgot I had the same last name as Juvia, it was some of the reasons why she was my favorite character. Well it's to late now so I should probably just play dumb until I can think of a good reason on why we have the same last name.
"Ummm I don't think so I was an only child" I said to him
"Oh gotcha now that I take a closer look you guy's have different colored eyes, well thanks again Chris I gotta get going to the guild hall" he said making his way there
"Gray wait up I'll walk with you I'm actually heading that way to" I said following along side him
"Oh sure thing, are you looking to joining Fairy Tail?" he asked me
"Yeah ever since I was a kid I dreamed of joinning Fairy Tail" I said
"Well when we get there I'll let the Master know, and I'll also put in a good word for ya" he said with a smile
"Thanks I really appreciate it" I said excitedly
"No problem it's the least I can do since you helped me out" he said
After a couple minuets of walking and idle chitchat with Gray the Fairy Tail guild hall came into veiw.
"By the way Chris what type of magic do you use?" Gray asked me
"You may find this weird but I actually don't know if I have magic are can even use it, honestly I was just thinking of helping out in the guilds bar since I know my way around one" I said downcast
"You're right that is weird you haven't ever used a magic reader orb before?" he said
"No I actually never heard of one until now"I answerd honestly
"You are defiently a weird guy Chris" he said
"Whats that supposed to mean?" I asked him
"I don't mean any offense I just never heard of some one who has never used a magic orb before, most people are able to do magic at around five years old and if they can't the would use a magic orb reader to see if they can even use magic" Gray told me
"Well let's just say my up bringing wasn't that of a normal one" I said sadly
"Gotcha ya" he said clearly reading my body language and dropping the subject
As we reached the doors Gray opened a door and we stepped in. I couldn't believe it, it was everything just like the manga down to the smallest details. Before I could take in even more of my surrondings, I felt something keen to a boulder pushing me away and I fell to the ground.
"Gray darling oh how Juvia missed you" a female voice spoke
"I literally just saw you yesterday" Gray said to the woman annoyed
"Oh but Gray darling, just being away from you for just a second is like being away from you for eternity" she said
After picking myself off the floor I saw Gray putting his hand on a woman's shoulder to keep her from hugging him. She wore a blue russian coat and hat with long blue hair curled at the bottom. I knew right away just from the way she spoke that it was Juvia. Alright time to come up for a good reason for why we both have the same last name. I'll just say that it was probably just a coincidence or just say that Gray got it mixed up with my actual last name which was Lobster that is to weird oh I know Lannister like from GOT yeah that will work.
"Can you please stop trying to hug me Juvia I have business with the Master" Gray said slightly pissed
"Really what type of buisness?" Juvia asked giving up on hugging him
"We have a newcomer and he wants to join Fairy Tail" Gray said pointing at me
Juvia then turned to look at me and I waved hello and she did also with a smile. I then walked up to them and went to introduce myself, but Gray spoke first
"By the way Juvia does he look familiar to you?" Gray asked
"No not really why should he?" Juvia asked
"Well his last name is actually Lockser" Gray said
"Nice to meet you I'm Chris Lan-" before I could finish I found myself in a bone crushing hug
"Juvia had no idea she had a family member around Juvia's age" She said looking at me with such happiness in her eyes. I froze, thanks Gray I was gonna lie and say a different last name but looking at Juvia I remembered she grew up an only child and didn't have any other family members alive.
"So who were your parents" Juvia asked me
Shoot I don't have a good explanation, come on brain think..think you've read Fairy Tail countless times come on. It then hit me that Juvia's father had a younger brother that Juvia barley new about other then his name. Okay I can work with this.
"My fathers name was Trion and my mother's was Elizabeth" I said slightly gasping for air
"That means your Juvia's cousin" she shrieked and gave me an even tighter hug which I didn't think was possible considering her frame. Luckily Gray came to the rescue
"Hey Juvia your crushing him" Gray said with concern. Juvia then loosened her grip and took a step back
"Juvia is so sorry, Juvia was just really excited that's all" she said
"Well I'm gonna go grab the guild Master I'll be right back guys" Gray said making his way to the Master's office
Juvia then turned back to look at me after Gray was out of sight.
"Juvia is so excited to meet cousin Chris, come over and let's catch up while we wait for Gray and Master" she said walking towards a table
"So am I" I said following her
As we waited we talked, I told her how my mother passed away right after my birth and that on my tenth birthday my father got really sick so I left to try to find a cure for him. Five years later I said I got a note from home that my father had passed away. I felt really bad for lying but it worked out, Trion actually passed away five years ago from some sickness but he actually never got married let alone have a child. Juvia offered her condulences but didn't shed any tears like I did. It was actually pretty easy to shed a couple of my own tears cause all I had to do was think of the crappy life I had in my own world. Juvia then told me about how she went down the wrong path after her parent's passing and how that Gray and Fairy Tail set her on the right path. She also told me how she meet Gajeel and how he bacame a surrogate older brother to her. She said that at the end of the day all of Fairy Tail was family to her she was just glad that someone that had the same blood running through their veins like she did. After hearing that I felt bad for lying, but I just couldn't just say that I was actually not related to her after lying this whole time. Plus I always saw Juvia as someone I could relate too considering we had somewhat similiar circumstances.
"Oh you should meet Gajeel, here follow Juvia" she said excitedly
But before Juvia could get up we both heard heavy footsteps, I then turned around to be face to chest with a mountain of a man. I new right away this was Master Markov, but his stature and pressence scared me. All of a sudden he started shrinking and then a cloud of smoke came out of nowhere, and out of the smoke popped out a small man.
"Yo" Markov said
After regaing my composer I spoke
"Wizard Saint Markov it is a pleasure to meet you aquantice" I said with a bow
"No need for the formalities young man just call me Master" Markov said with a friendly simle.
It took me a while to process what he said and I spoke back awestruck
"Wait does this mean I can join Fairy Tail."
I knew Gray was gonna put in a good word for me but I didn't think it was gonna be that easy.
Noticing my face Markov said "Well of course my boy you can join it would be foolish of me not to considering you helped out Gray and are related to Juvia" he said with a respectful nod.
"There is just a couple things we need to take care of first, Gray orb if you'd please" he said as Gray handed him a small glass orb
"Now this is a magic reader orb all I want you to do is to rest your palm on it and it will tell us what type of magic you have or if you don't have any" Markov continued
I nodded my head and went to put my hand on the orb with countless thoughts running through my head. What if my magic is dumb, maybe I'll have some type of secret magic that no one has ever heard of before, but maybe I don't have any moment my hand touched the orb nothing happened, of course I don't have any magic. I then went to remove my hand and all of a sudden the orb glowed a bright forest green and after the light started to fade I saw a small dandelion bloom inside.
"Does this mean what I think it means" I said with excitement in my voice
"Yep you have magic and not any type of magic but something to do with plants we won't know untill you perfect it" Markov said looking at the orb
I couldn't believe it I can do magic and not just any magic, plant magic I didn't care what it actually entails. With excitement flowing though me I stuck out my hand and I tried focusing on making a flower but nothing happened. I then lowered my head in disappointment.
"I figured that would happen since it's your first time trying magic, well nothing a little training won't help" Markov said looking at me
Gray then put a hand on my shoulder and said
"Don't worry man I'll help you train and before you know it you'll be doing it as easilly as I take off my clothes"
That got a small chuckle out of me.
"Don't forget Juvia, Juvia will help as well considering we are family. Plus Juvia will take any excuse to be closer to Gray" Juvia said with a smile on her face
"Thank you so much, I promise to try my hardest during our sessions" I said
"Now one last thing it's time for you to get your stamp" Markov said walking towards the bar, with me following behind him.
As we reached the bar a beautiful lady was cleaning glasses she then turned around. I couldn't believe who it was
"Kaitlyn" I said softly
"Close this is Kinana one of the bar maidens here, and she'll be giving you your stamp" Markov said
How stupid of me for a second I thought the same thing that happened to me happened to Kaitlyn, it is actually crazy how similiar they look the only difference was Kinana had short hair while Kaitlyn had longer hair
"Kinana we have a new guidmate can you grab the stamp" Markov said
"Of course Master" Kinana said smiling going underneath the counter and coming back up with the Fairy Tail symbol stamp in hand she then looked at me
"What color and where would you like it?" she said smiling at me
I continued to stare at her
"Ummm left bicep and in dark green" I said still awestruck by her resamblance to my friend
"There all done...Um is there something on my face" she said embarassingly removing the stamp.
"No not at all, I'm so sorry for staring it's just you look-" I tried to apoligize before getting interupted by Markov
"Beautiful right" Markov said with a cheeky grin
"Yeah" I said still lost in my thoughts and wondering what Kaitlyn was doing now back home
Kinana then blushed and then turned around to get back to work.I then heard laughter coming from my left and I looked at Master who was making the noise.
"You sure are a ballsy one Chris hitting on the first beautiful girl you see" he said though his laughter.
"Wait..What did I say" I asked Master finally getting my head out of the clouds
"Don't worry about it Chris you'll be seeing plenty of Kinana since you'll be working the bar till your able to use your magic, and then you can go on jobs and even form a team or join one if you want. Now one last thing to take care of" Markov said while he started to expand in size.
For the next part I wish I could've covered my ears for what was about to happen next
"LISTEN HERE YOU BUNCH OF HOOLIGANS,WE HAVE A NEW GUILD MEMBER SO LET'S PARTY!" Markov yelled
And with that the whole guild hollared and started dancing and drinking. I then looked over at Master and he smiled at me
"Welcome to Fairy Tail Chris I hope you like it" he said with a smile
I smiled back, I think I'm going to.
Whew that felt like a longer chapter probably since I made a lot of changes from what I orginally wrote. And yes I know Juvia's father doesn't have a younger brother. I just wanted the OC to have a sibling relationship with someone, since in his past life his cousins were really young, and I figured who better then Juvia. Just trust me on this it will pay off at the end of this fanfic. I also realized that when I'm typing this that the chapter won't probably be realeased untill tommorow since the website takes like four hours to put it up, I had a really long day at work and my younger sister decided to come over and surprise me.
