A broken wail leaves bloodstained lips as a body is easily slid up a wall like a ragdoll. Ichigo almost slams his head back against the wall at the harsh thrust, numb hands scrabbling against a silk covered back. The pain from the hit and from his hole connects across his spine, making him arch into the body holding him up.

"K-K-Kis–" Ichigo wails again when the cock inside of him pulls out before roughly slamming back in. Something warm drips down his thighs loosely hugging Kisuke's torso as tears fall out of his eyes like a broken dam.

Ichigo's fingers claw through the shirt, tearing it for any kind of purchase when an even rougher thrust makes him almost fall. Stars burst in his vision as his sight, touch, hearing, everything whites out.

Nothing comes out of his dick, climaxing dry. His hole clenches and flutters around Kisuke's cock as if trying to keep it inside.

"Ichigo...!" Kisuke groans against Ichigo's horribly bruised neck before he presses his teeth against it. He bites down against Ichigo's wild pulse, groaning as it picks up even faster from the pressure. His fingernails start to pierce through Ichigo's thin waist as he pulls Ichigo off of his cock, leaving only the tip in.

Ichigo whines loudly, delirious, hysterical, drunk off of the high and tries to roll his hips. He was empty. So empty. It hurt it hurt ithurtithurt.

"Please please please pleasepleasepleaseplease!" Ichigo sobs loudly, heaving for breath. More more more more moremormoremoremoremore. He needs more. He wants more.

A scream is torn and ripped out of his throat, finally breaking it when Kisuke slams into him with enough force for something to tear. Ichigo claws his nails at Kisuke's back, leaving bloody trails, and his thighs clenched tightly around Kisuke's torso.

"Beautiful–beautiful. Can you sing for me some–fuck–some more? Sing for me some more," Kisuke moans into Ichigo's ear, piercing through the deafening heartbeat. Ichigo wails again when Kisuke thrusts in. His body drags up against the wall, his only support being the one causing all of his.

He loves it. He loves it so much! He loves it loves itlovesitlovesitlovesitlovesitlovesitlovesitlovesitlovesit!

"K–"

"–arakura Honchō station, passengers that will disembark at the station please wait until the train has fully stopped to approach the doors." Ichigo startles out of his sleep at the sudden announcement and almost knocks his hood off. He snaps his head up with wide eyes, glancing around the train car.

He scowls at how crowded it was compared to when he fell asleep. At least only Rukia and Renji sat next to him.

Ichigo glances back out of the window and sees the old Karakura Honchō station approaching rapidly. He closes his eyes for a moment and takes a deep breath to calm his jumping heartbeat.

"Why now of all places?!" Ichigo bemoans the immensely pleasurable wet dream, partially upset that it never got finished. He adjusts his baggie hoodie to hide his dying hard-on.

"Ichigo? You okay?" Rukia asks quietly as the train slows to a stop.

Ichigo grunts with a small nod, standing up with his friends. He reaches down and quickly grabs Tatsuki's gift before they all walk over to the opening train doors. He's the first to leave and the first to quickly walk outside before he's caught in the mob of busybodies and business lackeys.

Ichigo glances around with a heavy scowl, hating all the bright decorations and busy streets that he comes upon. "Fucking fantastic... it's going to be one of those festivals..."

"Ichigo, you bastard! You walk way too fast!" Rukia exclaims as she rushes out of the train station with an equally exasperated and unsurprised Renji.

"...it's crowded..." Ichigo mutters quietly, glancing around the streets. Karakura Town must have planned something big for this festival.

"Oi, you bastard, get your introverted ass going. Didn't you wanna surprise your sisters?" Renji states, lightly nudging Ichigo's shoulder with his own.

Ichigo gives him a withering glare before rolling his eyes. He starts walking, his best friends following after him, and ignores their smug smirks.

"You're just happy you don't gotta spend money on a hotel room," Ichigo gives them a side glare, "and if I see any phones recording any reactions, someone's gonna pay."

Rukia hums noncommittally, answering Ichigo's statement without any words. Ichigo huffs with an eye roll. He's not even surprised.

His smile disappears as the silence stretches on. "Goat Face couldn't start anything last time. He'll start something in the three days we'll be staying."

"Like we'll let him. This is a time for relaxing," Renji states with a grin and an arm reaching over Ichigo's shoulders.

Ichigo feels the corner of his lips quirk up before he shakes his head. Idiots.

"Guess who?" Ichigo calls out as he opens the front door.

"Onīchan?!" Yuzu stands up from the dining table, stars practically shining around her. She vaults over the dining table, making Karin shout as she falls backwards with her chair and Isshin blink rapidly.

"Onīchan!" Yuzu squeals in delight and jumps into Ichigo's arms. Ichigo laughs quietly, barely stumbling backwards. He instinctively grabs his little sister's thighs to keep her from falling.

"Hey, Yuzu. Missed me? I haven't been gone that long," Ichigo speaks brightly. Yuzu leans back with shining eyes and a wide grin.

"That doesn't matter! You're here and you surprised us! Why're you here?"

Rukia and Renji take their turn to enter the house, sunglasses covering their eyes that definitely weren't there before. Dramatic assholes.

"Ho ho ho, here's Badass Renji and Rukia!" Renji greets loudly with a grin of his own.

Rukia rests her sunglasses on top of her head with a cool smirk. "And we brought presents."

"Renji! Rukia!" Karin stumbles to her feet and rushes forward. Rukia's smirk breaks into a grin before she opens her arms for the black haired teenager to run into.

"It's good to see you, Karin!" Rukia exclaims with a laugh, hugging the taller female.

The tall genes ran through all three of the Kurosaki Siblings. Ichigo stood as the tallest at 5'11". Karin was next at 5'9" and Yuzu was quickly catching up at a height of 5'7". Rukia was jealous, being the shortest at 4'9", especially when compared to Renji's height of 6'2". Renji loved to make fun of the difference.

"What're you all doing here?" Karin asks as she quickly hugs Renji before attaching herself to her big brother.

"We're only gonna stay for three days. This is the only time everyone including Tats is free, so we're celebrating her birthday early." Ichigo carefully releases one of his arms from holding Yuzu up to hug Karin back. Karin beams up at him, a rare smile adorning her face.

"You're gonna go to the festival? Go with us!" The twins exclaim at the same time. Ichigo smiles at them both and laughs softly.

"Now, now, Karin, Yuzu!" All of the joy is quickly sucked out of the room when Isshin speaks. "Stop bothering your brother! It's good that you're back home, Ichigo!"

Ichigo bristles at the name for this damn house. This house was never home. This hellhole will never be home. Not anymore. Never again.

"...Isshin. You're well, I see," Ichigo stiffly greets his father. He doesn't even look at him. He doesn't want to.

"Masaki~! Our dear son isn't calling me Daddy or even Oyaji! He doesn't love me anymore!" Isshin cries loudly, kneeling in front of the gaudy, fake poster of Masaki. Of Isshin's Masaki.

"I never loved you!" Ichigo hisses under his breath.

Liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar liar! LIAR!

I'm not your son! Never again!

Monster! I'll fucking kill you!

He takes a deep breath and buries the fury deep into his heart. Getting in a fight within the first five minutes of being in this house was not a good idea.

"Yuzu, I need to get out the extra bed from the attic. Rukia and Renji are staying here," The young man speaks quietly, ignoring the crying of his father. Yuzu stares at him worriedly before she bites the inside of her cheek.

"Onīchan..." Yuzu forces a smile on her face and jumps off of Ichigo. "I'll go get some blankets and sheets! Renji-kun, Rukia-chan, go and sit down! I made enough dinner for everyone!"

"Oh! Thank you, Yuzu," Rukia says with genuine gratitude.

"Yuzu! That means there won't be any leftovers! I'll go hungry tomorrow morning!" Isshin cries loudly. Yuzu turns around with a cold look in her eyes, walking towards the hallway.

"Missing one meal won't kill you. If you're that hungry, then make your own breakfast!" Yuzu sneers, a rare cold fury in her tone.

He doesn't have the right to try and deny food to any guest. Not while Yuzu's forced to live in this house. Isshin left them to starve and fend for themselves.

Ichigo glares at Isshin before he starts walking towards the stairs. Rukia gently grabs his hand and squeezes it, making him look over his shoulder. Rukia stared at him with concern, but had a small smile on her face.

"I'm fine..." Ichigo smiles back, squeezing Rukia's hand back.

Rukia nods her head before focusing on Karin. "So, I heard that some college recruiters have been scouting you out during your soccer games. Given them any thought?"

"Well, I still have two years of high school! But... well... maybe... I–I haven't decided yet!" Karin stutters out, her face burning bright red. Rukia and Renji smile knowingly as Ichigo leaves them to watch after his sisters.

His girls are growing up... he couldn't be prouder.

Arisawa Tatsuki is many, many things. Tomboyish, brash, hotheaded, independent. Stupid and ignorant were not anything close to what she is despite many assumptions.

Which is why she knows Ichigo is different from everyone else. Even at four years old, she knew Ichigo was different. Ever since they first met, she knew he was different. Always wide-eyed and curious, smiling a bit too wide, not really understanding kids around him or his actions. Sensitive... in a way.

His mother always told him it was okay to be emotional. If he got hurt during one of his fights with Tatsuki, he cried. It grated on Tatsuki's nerves, especially when all of his tears would disappear the moment his mother came to pick him up. Tatsuki grew up being taught that boys shouldn't cry. It quickly became a disbelief of hers as she and Ichigo became friends.

Very early in their friendship, Tatsuki started noticing more... things about Ichigo. Strange things. She didn't say anything, even as it ramped up the closer they got as friends.

Boys who used to bully her and mess with her for being a girl in a boy's sport took every possible opportunity to avoid her now. Some even cried when Ichigo was with her. Some of the girls still messed with her... at least until Ihara Wakako "ran" into traffic and got hit by a car. They didn't mess with her after that. No one messed with her and Ichigo stayed by her side.

When one of the new dojo instructors started to... touch her after three years of their friendship, she was scared. She was seven years old and didn't know what sex or consent or anything else like that was. Not yet. She was too young to know.

None of the adults really believed her–Tatsuki later realized it was because she could never explain what that awful man wanted to do to her in words that made sense to adults and even then they should have known something was up. It was scary and felt weird when he grabbed her hand or hugged her and wrapped his arm around her waist. He kept standing really close to her and seemed to always try and train her alone. It was weird. It was scary.

She told Ichigo. It was causing her nightmares–making her lose sleep. This would be the first time she ever cried and it was in front of her best friend. If Tatsuki was a normal kid who didn't have Ichigo as a friend, she would have realized this would be a horrible decision.

The next day, all dojo practice was cancelled for the week and the police were called. One of the really heavy decorations that lined one of the stairwells of the dojo had fallen as the awful man walked past. The force and surprise made him tumble down the stairs, landing on his neck with the heavy decoration falling onto his lower back. No one witnessed it and only heard the loud sound.

Ichigo kept grinning, as if satisfied by something. He pulled Tatsuki aside before she could follow the rest of the group of kids to search for what caused the commotion.

"They still won't believe you, but he won't hurt you anymore. You're mine, okay? Mama always said to protect what's mine!" Ichigo had spoken as if it was a perfectly normal fact. Tatsuki accepted it with a smile and a punch to Ichigo's shoulder.

She couldn't say her thanks out loud, so she thanked him by getting him a gift. He once mentioned how he loved jasmine and yellow iris flowers and Tatsuki had quietly observed his love and obsession with art. So, she got him different shades of pens and a flower coloring book meant for adults.

The smile she received from him was one of her happiest memories in her childhood. It should have been unnerving, with how wide it stretched across his face, but the stars in his eyes, the love he had for Tatsuki made it appear so wonderful.

They became inseparable as the years passed. Masaki's brutal death brought them even closer. It was unbearable to see her best friend like that.

A shell of what he once was. Emotionless, grieving, scared, angry. He kept Tatsuki and his sisters close to his heart, clawing and ripping anyone apart if they even thought about harming them. Even Isshin, though he deserved it with how he treated his own son, his own children.

Tatsuki was there when Isshin had hit Yuzu for the first–and only–time. She watched 12 year old Ichigo take the steak knife and stab his own father in the abdomen, in one of the kidneys. She turned her eyes away and focused on calming down the hysterical Kurosaki twins.

Ichigo didn't care about himself. A problem Tatsuki has been trying, even now, to fix. But, he cares deeply for his sisters. He would kill for them–he has killed for them. Isshin could punch him, kick him, beat him 'til he's half dead, Ichigo didn't mind. But, when the twins are involved... the only thing that stopped him from killing his father in the same brutal way as his mother had died was the fact that he refused to even take a chance with being separated from his sisters in foster care.

It was that same night, as Tatsuki helped put the twins to bed, that she was a witness and subject to one of Ichigo's episodes for the first time. She wasn't scared, but she probably should have known better than to try and leave his room. She should have known better than to think he would rather be alone when it was him who had taken her to his room to protect her in case Isshin came out of the clinic.

The scar on her leg, which sometimes aches during nights of rain or snow, will remind her not to ignore Ichigo during his episodes. Ichigo was overcome with so much guilt after he realized what he had done, he didn't eat for days, even when he was already struggling to keep food on the table.

She made sure he knew that she was at fault. Ichigo is different and Tatsuki knows this. She knew it from the beginning. Just because they were getting older and changing wouldn't change the fact that Ichigo will always be different. It was her fault for forgetting that.

They were best friends since they were four years old–each other's only friend for a long time. Too long to be considered normal–and Ichigo's little quirks weren't going to make her scared. Truth be told, she'd be less comfortable around a societally normal Ichigo than Ichigo as himself.

She was his best friend when she found new friends of her own. She was his best friend when his little quirk about pretty things got himself his own group. She was his best friend when he trusted his friends enough to show them his true self. She was his best friend when his friends, and her friends, ran away, terrified to be associated with someone different than they are.

Tatsuki is still his best friend when he gained two new ones, both different types of different when compared to Ichigo, who stayed, just like her. Tatsuki is still his best friend, even now, as she eyes his distracted demeanor and clenched fists that drew blood from his own palms.

Which means, she knows when a new pretty thing has become the center of Ichigo's obsession. And knows that the pretty thing is actually a pretty person.

"Whoever it is, they must be incredibly beautiful for you to be this way," Tatsuki speaks up, her voice not too quiet to seem suspicious, but not too loud for the usually nosy citizens of Karakura Town to overhear. Ichigo snaps his head towards her direction with wide eyes and his mouth partially open.

"...sorry?" Ichigo blinks out of his stupor and furrows his eyebrows. Tatsuki just raises her eyebrow before glancing over at the incredibly smug Renji and Rukia.

"You know who it is? The person that caught Ichigo's eye?" Tatsuki asks them instead, Ichigo's best friends that were her own after so long knowing each other.

"Urahara Kisuke. He sometimes works with Nīsama and his associates. Nīsama hates him almost as much as Yoruichi-san," Rukia answers brightly, ignoring the small hiss from Ichigo to try and keep her quiet.

"That's not even the best part!" Renji grins widely, matching Ichigo's withering glare. "They're dating!"

Tatsuki's eyebrows raise further as the Kurosaki twins gasp loudly at the reveal. She turns her attention towards Renji and watches him record the current reactions.

"You found someone?! And you didn't tell me?! It's barely been a month! Did you lie?! What's his favorite food? Does he have any allergies?! When will you bring him around?" Yuzu speaks faster and faster, eyes filled with stares.

"Is he treating you right? What does he do? Does he like art? He hasn't made fun of your drawings, right?" Karin asks her own questions. Her eyes were narrowed in suspicion, but that didn't stop the bright grin growing on her face.

Tatsuki finally smiles with a disbelieving laugh and leans back. "This is the best birthday gift I could ask for. Ichigo finally finding his own happiness!"

Ichigo's face slowly got increasingly more red at each question and statement. His face was practically steaming in embarrassment as he kept his eyes rooted to the table.

"Teasing aside, I'm happy for you–we all are, Ichi," Tatsuki says softly with an even softer smile on her face. Ichigo glances up with a bright smile, the seemingly permanent exhaustion on his face momentarily disappearing.

"I... I really am... it's–I haven't felt this amazing in so long..." Tawny eyes glaze over as he thinks about his partner, his smile almost sickeningly wide in a lovestruck obsession.

No one sitting in the booth was even the slightest bit scared by the insanity clearly seen in that smile. All of them smile back, in their own forms of happiness for their friend and brother.

"With everything that you've done for us... you deserve to be happy. You deserve it all." Tatsuki sighs softly as her eyes glance over the rest of the booth. Chocolate brown eyes pause when they catch sight of umber brown eyes.

Renji grins, waving his phone in the air with a wink. Tatsuki grins back before she focuses back on Ichigo. Gaining blackmail material is almost as good a gift as Ichigo finding his own happiness! Lovely! This is turning out to be a wonderful early birthday celebration.

Hey! Hope you all like the new chapter! A small bit of a filler and backstory. I didn't want to leave you all with just that, so I hope you like that little treat at the beginning of the chapter!

I have an idea for the next chapter... but I don't know how to go about it. Well, I do, but I have many branches I can write out. We'll see which one I choose.

Christmas just passed for me, so Happy Christmas for those who celebrate it! Happy Holidays for those who don't!

I hope you all are enjoying the story so far! Bye.
