Chapter 2. Bilbo and the Time Travellers
The next thing that the seven Hobbits noticed was they were now outside. While Rumür walked to the edge of The Hill (for they were all now on top of Bag End), the Four turned to his two cousins.
"Nothing changed." Merry pointed out "This is still Bag End."
Rumür came back to the others.
"This is Bag End," he informed them "however, we have travelled back in time. That's what that object which Pippin had did. I was about to tell you (Bagöl and Estar already knew) when it activated itself."
"When are we?" inquired Pippin.
"By SR (Shire Reckoning, for those who don't know), the year is 1331 (TA (Third Age) 2931." Estar spoke up.
"Who are you?" asked a new voice. All seven turned to the speaker.
"That is the question." piped up Bagöl "Introductions need to begin anew."
He, Rumür, Frodo, Pippin, Estar, Merry and Sam introduced themselves (only their first names, mind you with Estar explaining 'Hobbit transgender' again). The extra Hobbit was revealed to be a much younger Bilbo Baggins.
"I could hear you from inside." he said.
"Were we that loud?" asked Bagöl with a bit of unstifled mirth "I didn't notice."
"Is he alright?" Bilbo asked the other six.
"I'll pinch him to make sure." said Estar as she proceeded to, causing Bagöl to wince in pain.
"It wasn't that painful." she reprimanded him.
"Where did you come from? Where are your families?" Bilbo had to ask. The seven younger Hobbits were all silent.
"If you don't have any, come live with me." Bilbo offered.
"On behalf of all of us, we accept your offer." Pippin piped. Rumür put his head in his hands.
"Is he alright?" Bilbo inquired, seeing this.
"He will be." Bagöl said simply.
