Chapter 9
"To battle! Hoho, we will win zis fight yet!" said the voice of Napoleon from Fred's mouth, him then speaking after.
"W-We're not going to win anything, not unless I get back in control," Fred said after.
"Oh, you've lost years ago, Fred. I am the brainy one, you are the patient, so stand down," Crispin said, which is when we heard a commotion from the upper levels.
"YAGH! ESTUPIDO! TERRIBLE!" Edgar shouted in Spanish as he threw a painting out of the window, which is when Crispin groaned.
"Oh, look what you did. You just broke Edgar's concentration," Crispin said, me looking at the others and seeing that the younger members like Squeepie and Mirtala were scared and that the others looked concerned about the situation.
"How do we get to the upper levels from here?" Lili asked in annoyance.
"You can't, little lady, and I intend to keep you here," said Crispin, which made her gasp, as she was using her mind to talk. "Yes, I am partially psychic as well. But even my brain can't work in the barrier, so mental talking is all you can do. Such a shame, you'll never get past me. Only Doctor Loboto and Commander Skarlowey are allowed past," he said, me frowning at that and getting in front of the guy, him looking hard, but me smirking. "Hmm... I feel as though something is in front of me, but I can't see anything..." he said, me smirking at that.
"Well, poop," Raz frowned as I then spoke to them in their minds, while keeping our conversation safe from Crispin's brain.
"Okay, apparently Crispin can't see us half-visible projections, meaning he's got terrible eyesight. In order for us to get past him, we'll need to get a proper disguise for a normal person, as this asylum IS roughly 600 feet tall. We need to trick him into thinking one of us is Doctor Loboto in order to get past him," I said, which is when Raz spoke as he looked at the busted painting.
"It looks like the pictures are supposed to look like Doctor Loboto, but they have something wrong with them... how do we get a good painting?" Raz asked.
"Worry about that later. For now, we need to get ourselves a lab coat. We could probably use the straitjacket from this poor lanky fellow, but he looks to be suffering from severe PTSD and is squabbling with an alternate personality. We need to go in his mind next so we can get his mental state under control," I said.
"I don't think that'd be easy," Lili frowned.
"Well, tough, because you, Zeke, and dad are all going in there along with me. Everyone else will stay here and keep an eye out in case Creepy Crispin decides to call for backup," I said with my mouth, just because I wanted to piss the shorty off.
"Peh, I very well could, but they neglected to give me a means to call them. And they told me to guard the elevator, and that's what I'm doing," Crispin said, me smirking at how he just admitted we were free to do whatever.
"You do realize they plan on killing a literal toddler, right?" mom asked from Frazie's brain him frowning at her.
"I am aware, and I don't like it any more than you do," he frowned.
"Then WHY are you helping those grass holes?" Squeepie asked, me being surprised at how he was using censors at such a young age of 6.
"Because I have no choice," he frowned. "If they find out I let you up the elevator, they'd command Boyd to destroy the entire place, meaning that everyone would get killed," he said, me looking at the others and then back at him.
"You don't need to worry about that. We took care of Boyd already... oh, sorry, I mean the Milkman," I said, him gasping at that.
"Really? You really did? Hmm," he frowned as he then looked at my mind and I made sure it was protected from intrusion aside from what I showed him about what I dealt with in Boyd's mind and how he was like after the mind control bug was destroyed from within. "There is still one issue. A self-destruct switch, powered by the brain of another innocent person from another world, or whatever, up in Loboto's lab," he said, me then looking in his mind harder and seeing what he meant. The self-destruct switch in question was powered by two different brains. One of them was Sabrina from Pokemon Gen 1, and the other was... a person that I was surprised they stole from just how dangerous they were in their world.
"Kanna..." I gawked. Which Kanna? The one from Inuyasha who had a soul-stealing mirror and no emotion.
"Who?" Raz asked.
"There are two Psychic brains that are held captive by Loboto and hooked up to the self-destruct switch. The one is Sabrina, a powerful Psychic from a world of super-powered creatures called Pokemon... and the other is Kanna, who I'm shocked was even considered! She's a demon in the shape of a human girl, with no emotion, no sense of wrong or right, and can steal peoples' souls with a magical mirror!" I gawked.
"Yes, exactly. And that's why they were chosen. One for the positive energy, the other for the negative energy. Both combined will create an explosion strong enough to sink the island. And their brains are also what powers the forcefield around the island. If I were you, I'd only bring ONE person to the top while the others stay behind and go into the minds of the two idiots," Crispin said, me being surprised at how he was actually HELPING!
"I am not an idiot!" Fred said.
"Yes he is, do not listen to that idiot loser!" Napoleon said shortly after, me looking at Raz and him holding the Psycho Portal.
"Lili, I'm going to do something different. Raz and I will go up the tower on our own, but in the process, I'm going to ask you to use the Psycho Portal to help mister Bonaparte and the guy in the upper levels face their inner demons. Besides, you could use the promotions, too," I said, her nodding at me.
"And we'll stand guard, right?" Frazie asked.
"Yes. And when we do this, only myself and Raz will project ourselves from his body. So that means that Gloria and Jenna will stay hidden in the brain, okay?" I said, them frowning and nodding.
"At least let me out after you get rid of that Loboto freak so that we can punch a face that deserves it," Jenna said, me nodding at that.
"Yes, and then we can save Pinoko, the duo of Psychics, and hopefully enlist their help to take down Mitsy," I said, them nodding at me.
"Make sure they don't see you and that you protect your minds at all costs. Otherwise, we're all dead... only talk to Sheegor for help," he said, me nodding as we then went on the elevator just in time to see Fred's mind get invaded by Lili, dad, and Zeke. And once the elevator stopped, I then had us turn invisible and proceeded to jump and platform the whole way up the tower, making sure to get the cards and psi challenge markers in the process, all while noticing that the rats weren't attacking because they couldn't see us. And once we got to the top on another elevator, we disembarked and went to the room where Sheegor was at, that being the one that held the three captives. And Sheegor was in there and panicking.
"I WANT YOU TO LET ME GO RIGHT NOW!" shouted a cute, yet loud voice that was sitting in a literal highchair with restraints. I looked at her and smirked widely. Pinoko Blackjack without a doubt. But the strangest thing was that she, Kanna, and Sabrina didn't look like the Psychnauts graphics. They looked like their original 2-dimensional anime graphics!
"Oh, I'm sorry, I can't I can't I can't! Not when he's holding Mister Pokeylope!" Sheegor said in her very shrill voice, me holding my ears as I then told Raz to talk to her.
"We're here to help," Raz said, Sheegor gasping and turning around, him then shushing her. "Quiet, otherwise the doctor will know what's up and blow all of us up," Raz said, Sheegor staying quiet and nodding. "Now, where is Mister Pokeylope at?"
"M-Mister Pokeylope is being held captive in his cage, placed on Loboto's grill... please save him. He can get us out of this mess," she said, me nodding as I then went with Raz to that room... and knew that I had to go into overdrive with the mind protection, mainly because Mitsy was in the same room at this time! And I also made sure Raz was still invisible as Mitsy strutted to Loboto with a smug smirk.
"Well, well, doctor Loboto, how goes the tests on those two brains I stole for you?" Mitsy asked in a seductive voice.
"Oh, very well, mistress Mitsy! I have never seen such dangerous, raw power from any brain before! It almost seems a waste to hook them up to the self-destruct! Why not use them for the think tanks?" Loboto asked as I then focused on Mister Pokeylope with telekinesis while their backs were turned and sent him out of the cage and into Raz's hands.
"Because I made a promise to that stupid bitch who ruined my life in high school. If she doesn't get here by sunrise, which will be in 5 hours, then she's going to bear witness to the little brat's brain being stolen, me burning the body its kept in, and using her, Kanna, and Sabrina's brains to effortlessly rule the world! Three Uber Think Tanks against the world and no one would stop it," Mitsy smirked widely as Raz and I then took Mister Pokeylope to Sheegor, but not before I made a fake stay in the place of the old one, forged from a figment of my own imagination and colored exactly the same.
We then brought the smart turtle to Sheegor, her then squealing in delight at seeing her beloved turtle but knowing to stay absolutely quiet. "Oh, Mister Pokeylope, I'm so glad you're okay! Do you have an idea, a smart idea, to stop the bad guys?" Sheegor asked him, the turtle then whispering to her ear and her then nodding. "Uh huh... uh huh... oh my... o-okay... we don't have any other ideas..." Sheegor said as she then went to the table and proceeded to use her own psychic powers to remove Pokeylope's brain and enlarge it, her then going to the area where Mitsy and Loboto were at, me waiting patiently with Raz and the other girls and for Raz to talk to the little Pinoko.
"So uh... we're here to save you, miss Pinoko," Raz said, her pout very visible, but I could sense she was grateful.
"I wanna go back home. I don't like this place," Pinoko frowned.
"I don't like it either, and that's why we need to team up to defeat Mitsy. She did the same thing to me that she did to you, Kanna, and Sabrina," I said with my brain to hers, Pinoko frowning at me and nodding, her face turning to be serious.
"Just get rid of Loboto after Mitsy is gone," she said, me nodding as Sheegor then came in and proceeded to hold her hands in front of her eyes as we then noticed that Mitsy proceeded to leave the upper levels via levitation, the flippin' cheater! Of course, it wouldn't affect her!
I simply went to the room with Raz while invisible and used telekinesis to throw Pokeylope's brain into the tank, him then focusing the blast and shooting the beam at Loboto, which shocked him so much that he became completely limp! I then grabbed his arms and legs and proceeded to tie him up like a Christmas ham, meaning he couldn't move any appendage!
"ACK! No fair! Let me go right now, you bitch!" he shouted at me, but Mitsy was too far away to hear him.
"Sorry, no. I'd rather do this," I said as I then proceeded to grab him and drag him to the edge, before then tossing him off the roof and him falling from the topmost part of the tower all the way to the bottom! And I could see he was still alive at the bottom, but very injured.
"Wow, I was sure he'd be dead after that," I smirked as Sheegor then came back to us, got Pokeylope's brain, and proceeded to shrink it back down and put it back in the turtle. We then got the brains of Kanna and Sabrina, thereby leaving the forcefield and self-destruct completely useless! I then went back to the room the trio were kept at and gave the brains back to their respective owners, which made the duo gasp awake and look around in confusion, before looking at me.
"I... did you just save us?" Kanna asked with a montone voice, me nodding at her. "...Why?... I can sense you know who I am... and how many I've hurt... so why save me?" she asked, me smiling at that.
"Because, contrary to what your creator said, you do have a heart," I said, her then gasping and touching her chest... and I smirked widely at what she was feeling.
"I... I do have one... I feel... warmth... it's so strange..." she said, me nodding at her.
"And now we need to ask you for help in defeating the woman who did this to all of us," Jenna said from my mind, the trio nodding.
"Only if you can get me out of this stupid chair! I hate being in baby chairs! I am an adult, not a toddler!" Pinoko said in anger, me then doing so with mind powers and her then getting out on her own and landing on her two feet. "Whew, thanks for the help!" Pinoko smiled, me then giving the message to the teachers/agents at the mainland campgrounds.
"I have deactivated the forcefield and rescued even more people! Come over for the fight of your life, because I sense a very angry Mitsy closing in fast!" I shouted, me then being joined by all four of the teachers as Mitsy arrived, me seeing that she looked absolutely furious at us.
"YOU!" she shouted at me as I smirked.
"I could say the same thing, Queen Bitch," I frowned, her seething in rage.
"YOU RUINED MY LIFE! YOU GOT ME AND MY BESTIES EXPELLED, YOU TURNED ME INTO THE BIGGEST BITCH IN TENNESSEE, AND YOU SENT ME TO THIS WORLD TO SUFFER!" she shouted, me being surprised at the last bit.
"I didn't do that last thing! In fact, YOU did that to ME! Not just me, but my family, the only nice one in your group, AND three psychic girls from other worlds!" I shouted, her growling at me and seeing Jenna from the mind.
"Maybe I did, maybe I didn't, BUT YOU DID! THE VOICE TOLD ME THAT YOU SENT ME HERE! And now, you're going to pay!" she shouted.
"Take shelter, children, Mitsy is one of the elite Psychonauts, even outranking some of us! We can't risk you getting hurt," Sasha said, me frowning and stepping froward and floating in the air.
"If I could beat this bitch at her own game and sneak around this entire time without her ever even knowing, I can take her out with ease," I said, her then immediately getting into her mental battle state as I did the same, followed by Raz, Jenna, and Gloria! And once the rest of the allies got into position, we proceeded to get into a fight with the bitch by attacking with Psi Blasts, Pyrokinesis, telekinesis, and even Psi Lasers that I deflected back at her with my shield, her getting steadily more frustrated at how we were matching her strength! But I could tell she was getting weaker.
"Oh, that TEARS IT!" she shouted as she then focused all of her Psychic power and she turned herself into a giant tank with a face! "I'LL FLATTEN EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU!" she shouted in fury, me then doing the same and turning into a Ginormica once again and holding her back, which I could tell made her mad. "STOP GETTING IN MY WAY!" she shouted at me.
"Don't hurt my friend..." I heard Kanna say as she then flew up to us and proceeded to use something that I was immediately concerned by. Her mirror. And when she started to steal her life force, I then shouted.
"KANNA, DON'T!" I shouted, her then stopping after and looking at me in surprise.
"Why not? She needs to pay for her crimes... right?" Kanna asked, me continuing to hold her back, but seeing that Kanna stealing some of the life force did manage to weaken the queen bitch considerably.
"There's a difference between right and wrong, yes. But killing someone by stealing their soul is VERY wrong! If you did that to her, then I won't be able to see her again!" I said, her looking at me in confusion and then simply flying to the top of my head and sitting there, me putting Mitsy in a headlock as we went into the water.
"Let me go, you pipsqueak!" she shouted at me as I then punched her in the side.
"I AM NOT THE PIPSQUEAK ANYMORE!" I shouted as I then forced my hypnosis into her mind, managing to make her fall asleep and turn back to normal size, me then placing her at the top of the towers again, me then returning to normal size with the others and looking at the teachers, who looked in her mind for a bit.
"Something isn't right. Her mind seems to be hurt drastically, almost as if it's fractured," Ford said, me seeing that he had a hunk of Psitanium on his back.
"It's because of the Psitanium, most likely," I said, me then seeing that Ford had a Psycho Portal and he placed it on her head.
"Okay, this may be tough, but the only way to stop her is to combat her fractured Psyche. Allow me to do so," Sasha said, but Milla held him off.
"No, darling. I think that Raz, Rose, and their group should do it instead," Milla said.
"A-Are you serious? They're not even fully completed in their Psyonic training!" Sabrina said, finally speaking and me being surprised at how she sounded like her anime counterpart, aka, the one that shrunk people and turned them into dolls. "I heard that, and I hate that I did that, so don't remind me," she said, me then saying sorry with my mind.
"If this is them when they aren't fully completed in their powers, they'll be more than capable of handling Mitsy's mind," Oleander said, me smirking as I then went inside of Mitsy's mind. I just had to wonder what I'd encounter...
