Chapter 19
On the way through the mines to get to the Questionable Area, we went over the battle plans with our minds alone and we then decided what we'd do. Our first attack would be to the Astralathe, where I'd use Gisu's USB cable to trap Giffany inside of so she wouldn't hurt anyone before I would then toss it into the water outside, so she was effectively killed. And when we found the Tunnel Monster, we'd have the others try to console it by saying that we can give it access to a large variety of tunnels so long as he didn't attack us. What set of tunnels did I have in question? The tunnels of Hallownest from Hollow Knight, which I felt he'd be quite happy to explore and 'capture' people at.
And while we did this, I'd use my Psychic strength combined with that of Sasha's and Compton's to find Siren Head's exact location before I would then trap it in a time bubble and then warp it to the place that I mentioned prior, the deepest pit of the dark world from Pokemon, specifically from Super Mystery Dungeon. Then, once those were done, we'd split into different teams. The aerial team of Gisu, Milla, Morris, Adam, Oleander, Kanna, Erma, and Sabrina would go after the Heart Scorpion and attempt to kill it. And in the meantime, the rest of us would handle taking care of Gaster and Shy Guy... as for how to deal with Gaster, I knew he'd probably try to use magic to attack our souls directly, quite possibly with Gaster Blasters, so I'd have to make sure that he was only centered on me.
And after going over the plan, everyone was in agreement as we then finally headed for the gulch and we proceeded across the river carefully until we reached the first house... where we saw someone there that looked confused. And she was next to...
"Uh... is that what I think it is?" Sasha asked when he saw what was sitting next to Nona, looking to already be placated.
"Oh? A lot of new friends? Are you friends with miss Nona?" the Tunnel Monster asked... but he didn't seem to look like he wanted to attack?
"Um... didn't 682 say that this guy was going to attack intruders?" Bill asked for all of us.
"I was told that... but then, when I get to this world... I suddenly became freed," he said, me looking at him in surprise.
"Free from what?" I asked.
"I became the Tunnel Monster because of a demonic force... but it suddenly vanished when I reached this world. I now remember everything I was beforehand. Just call me Joey. I may not be able to change my appearance or insides, but I want to use my powers to help from now on," he said, me being surprised, but knowing to look outside regardless. I sensed long and hard, hoping to find Siren Head... and then I felt a small bit of issue with a nearby tree. I then hit it with the Time Bubble and, immediately, it caused the monster's guise to lift as he became trapped in time!
"O-Oh my god!" Oleander gawked when he saw the sheer size of Siren Head, me smirking at that.
"That's... too big! Get him away, please!" Nona said with concern as Joey, AKA Tunnel Monster then did something surprising and teleported Siren Head away!... But where?
"Um... where is he at now?" I asked in concern.
"In a place I know he can't hurt anyone. The Void from where mister Gaster comes from. He won't hurt anyone there," Joey said, me being surprised at that.
"Okay... um... Miss Nona? Do you recognize this place at all?" Ford asked the old lady, her then looking around and nodding.
"Ah, yes... I think that I used to keep the cinnamon buns over here," she said, me facepalming at that.
"This isn't good. She's remembering who she used to be... we need to protect her while taking care of the other SCPs," Ford frowned.
"If you want to know, they're all guarding the important people ahead, minus GIFfany. She's guarding the big machine shortly ahead," Joey said, me nodding at that.
"Um... can you keep watch over these two, Ford?" I asked, him nodding.
"Yes, I can, you focus on the mission," he said, me nodding as we then left the house and went to the Astralathe, where we saw that, inside, we immediately heard a voice.
"AHA! I knew you'd come here eventually!" said the voice of GIFfany as she showed her visage on one of the computers in the place. "Now which of you did mister Naraku say would be my boyfriend?" she asked.
"None of us. Because none of us want to deal with a psychopath," Gisu frowned.
"Aw, so cute, thanks for the compliment. But don't worry, I promise that we'll be together... FOREVER!" she said as she then did something shocking and projected herself into the room! I immediately then zapped her with electrokinesis, which I could tell hurt her. "ACK! STOP! IT HURTS!" she shouted.
"So does love. But what you're doing is wrong! From one computer code to another, I command you to stop before you get killed!" Monika shouted from my phone, GIFfany gasping at that.
"Monika?! You captured my BFF?! I command you to release her!" GIFfany shouted through the pain.
"I wasn't captured, GIFfy. I was given a second chance when I realized that what I did was wrong," Monika said.
"They're controlling your mind! I will not let them hurt you anymore!" GIFfany shouted as she then tried to use an attack at me, but I blocked it with a shield, me then grabbing the USB cable and her gasping at it. "I-Is that..." she gulped.
"Last chance, GIFfany. Calm down and be cooperative, or we trap you in this and throw you in the river," I said, her gasping at that.
"I won't stop! Not until I can get you to be my girlfriend!" she shouted as she then tried to rush at me, but I proceeded to try and send her body into the USB cable... but for some reason, I couldn't! And she then managed to tackle me to the ground before then trying to kiss me, me feeling my power suppressed by her electrical powers and kisses! I then saw that the others started to get in on the action via a bunch of Psychic limbs grabbing onto her and pulling her away from me, which, when I recovered, I saw were caused by Sasha, Milla, Kanna, Morris, and Adam! It took five people to get her off of me!
"Why didn't you trap her in the cable?" Gisu asked.
"I couldn't! I don't know how, but she's become able to be touched and I don't know how!" I gawked.
"Same reason that Bill is 3D instead of 2D. Because this world made me stronger! NOW LET ME GO!" she shouted before then getting whacked in the face by Sabrina's Psychic fist technique that I'd taught her, which made her angrier. "OW! You bitch!" she shouted, me frowning at her as I then simply looked at Sasha with seriousness.
"Sasha, do we have any kind of restraints that can drain her Psychic powers?" I asked, him nodding as he placed a pair of cuffs on her, which she then tried to escape from by rushing into the Astralathe... only to smack into the machine and then annoy the bees, which attacked her and managed to sting her three times before she escaped.
"OW OW OW! It hurts! IT REALLY HURTS!" she shouted as I then saw something bad happening. Her body started to puff up, even her head and throat.
"SHIT! She's having an allergic reaction!" I shouted as I then did something daring and teleported a full EpiPen to me from my world and then slammed it into her bloodstream while also removing the stingers from her body. And when I'd finished, she breathed in and out and looked at me in shock.
"Y-You... You saved me... why?" she asked, me smiling at her.
"That's your first lesson. No matter what, show mercy to your opponent. Because mercy shows you care," I said, her then getting up and then giving me a hug.
"Thank you... I promise to follow you to the end of time! Whatever you say, I will do," she said, me looking at the others and them simply either smiling, giggling, or looking concerned, such as Raz looking concerned or Erma, Norma, and Lizzie giggling.
"Okay... awkward times twenty..." Bill said.
"My sentiments exactly," Olie said as I then ended the hug gently and smiled at her.
"For now, you're going to assist us in taking out the remaining beasts in Heart Scorpion, Shy Guy, and Gaster. Okay?" I said, her nodding at me.
"Okay, mistress," she said as we then finally split into our two teams, with me going to the menagerie, where I immediately heard the telltale sounds of glitches and a very messed-up tune. Entry 17, specifically. The one that sounded like a computer was dying.
"Okay, WD, we know you're here, so show yourself," I said, the creature then appearing via a bunch of tv static before showing his visage, it being in the same pixel art where he came from. And I could tell that his appearance was creeping my teammates out.
"Ah, you know who I am then," he said... followed by the wingding version appearing via a textbox.
"Of course. The man who speaks in hands, who created the CORE of the Underground before then falling into it like a dummy," I said, him then giving me a frown.
"You of all humans should know that I am not dumb. I have had centuries of time to practice my craft in the void. And I could very easily kill you and your friends with a single Gaster Blaster... that is, if I had them available," he said with a frown, me looking at him in confusion.
"Then... why would you be summoned by Naraku without your main weapons?" Gloria asked as she appeared next, as she was the resident Undertale/Deltarune expert.
"Simple. He thought I'd want to help. I stayed silent, however, and took care of another SCP that was supposed to attack you that would defeat you effortlessly," he said, that intriguing me. "And that would be the one that guarded the librarian beekeeper, 096. Because, if you would've looked at him with your mind, it would've counted as looking at his face," And when he said that bit, I was shocked.
"You... defeated 096? How?!" Pinoko asked.
"I am a being of the Void from another world. Even if anyone wanted to, I cannot be damaged through conventional means... and I can control my body to absorb anything I touch and send them to the void as well. And I did just that when 096 tried to attack me, as it doesn't discriminate. I did that roughly 4 days ago, otherwise, I risked the innocent elder to die," he said, me nodding at that.
"So... does that mean that you're not a danger?" Norma asked.
"I am not a danger to anyone unless they have killed remorselessly. I hate ruthless murderers, so that is why I wish to assist you in defeating Maligula, and why I'd never join in Naraku's goals of reincarnating himself from her," he said, me gasping. Did... did he just say that?! "Yes, I can tell from your surprise you were not told by anyone else, but the reason Naraku is trying to stop your quest is because he wants to revive himself in Maligula's body. He's already sent a part of his influence into the old woman and is trying to eat away at her from inside, to make her remember the darker parts of her past... and I need to know that you can be strong enough to defeat him and keep Maligula from breaking out," Gaster said, me nodding.
"Okay, we will do just that," I said.
"I wish to test you first, Raz and Rose. A test of battle, should you face Naraku in the old woman's mind, he will not go down as easily to the holy water deluge when in someone's old mind. I want to see if you can attack with enough strength to defeat him," he said as he then did something that shocked our group. The area went completely dark around us and he sent a beam of light at Raz's chest that grabbed all four of the souls inside of me before then splitting them into their own essences!
"Fudgesickles..." Jenna gulped as we then had to endure one of the hardest attacks in Undertale, that being a barrage of bullets from a Gaster version of Photoshop Flowey, complete with bones, bones, and more bones! And after about ten seconds of the attack, we were shocked at how we dodged all of them before we then proceeded to attack Gaster with our mind, sending a firestorm at him from Gloria, a Psi Blast barrage from Raz, a Cryogenic maelstrom from Jenna, and a thunderbolt trio from me! And when we finished, Gaster smirked at how we'd destroyed his lower half, only for it to reform slowly, like a puddle.
"I do believe you have the strength required to best Naraku, young ones," he said before then ending the fight and sending our souls back into Raz, me sighing at that... and then I got a mental call from the aerial team.
"This is Gisu from Aerial Team. The Heart Scorpion is reduced to ashes! What's the status of you guys?" the rollerskater asked with amusement.
"Well, 096 was handled by Gaster and now Gaster wishes to join the efforts in defeating Maligula... because if she does come back, she's going to be the next vessel for Naraku!" I said, which immediately made Milla teleport the others to my exact location.
"We cannot let Naraku come back! How did he even survive?!" Milla asked in anger, which was rare for her, the mental minx.
"He sent a small portion of his essence into miss Nona before he was killed, as only Maligula could bring him back to life. And that's why we've had such a small time limit to work with," Gaster said, his appearance making Milla gasp and look at him in fear while Erma looked at him in wonder, probably because she liked the spooky look he had, and the spooky voice boxes of Wingdings that came whenever he spoke. "Come sunrise, we only have three days, but the next two minds of Bob Zanotto and Cassie O'Pia are hard to bypass due to their mind demons of Giygas and Dimentio. And they won't strike until one of you goes in their minds, at which point you'll most likely be stuck in their brains for a prolonged amount of time," Gaster said.
"Oh my... I never knew that Cassie had been put in so much danger because of a literal monster! I should never have put myself in isolation! We need to find them, right away!" Compton said with seriousness.
"Spoken perfectly, gramps," Sam smiled as I then saw a squirrel arrive and look angrily at me.
"I've been looking for you, you bitch! Now I command you to get me out of this body right now!" the voice of Mal said from the squirrel, me smirking at him.
"Or what?" Pinoko asked for me. And the squirrel then thought before then growling.
"You shut up, you little brat! If I had any thumbs right now, I'd strangle you!" And when he said that, it was enough for GIFfany to waltz over and zap him with what looked like roughly 30 thousand volts, making Mal lay on the ground completely paralyzed!
"You won't hurt my mistress or her friends, Malware," she said, me smirking at that.
"I don't know whether that was supposed to be a joke about you being computer code, or if you were just calling him a dumb name," I admitted.
"I think it might be both," Bill said with a snicker.
"Well, though I would say we should go back and get our promotions, we cannot rest until we can use the Astralathe to go inside of Lucrecia's mind. And we'll need the help of Bob and Cassie to bypass the vines and bees respectively," Oleander said with seriousness.
"Right! So, which do we go for first?" Adam asked.
"I think that, since your mind says that Giygas is a much bigger threat, to the point where he could rule over his entire world without being stopped because of his sheer power, we go for Bob first... and uh, don't try to be rash to him, since he's uh... kind of off his nut?" Morris said, me nodding at him as we then proceeded towards the giant vine tower and we saw Bob inside and drinking some alcohol.
"Um... excuse us... Mister Bob?" I asked, him then grumbling angrily.
"Whaddayou want? I'm busy!" he said, me then speaking my words carefully.
"I don't mean to intrude... but me and my friends got rid of a nasty pest that was eating the vine tower... it left a few damaged parts, so we wanted to let you know that it needed repairs," I said, him frowning and only then turning around and getting a nasty glare at the different agents and the number of interns.
"Git outta 'ere right now! I don't want nuthin' to do with you traitors ever again!" he shouted before then slamming the door on us with his giant vine, which made the others shocked.
"Wow... I heard that Bob was out of sorts from the bees... but I didn't know he was this bad," Compton gulped... and then the door opened up again from the smaller vine, it then motioning us forward and pointing at Bob's head.
"It's saying that Bob needs help... and that it wants you and Raz to go inside the mind," Erma said, me smiling at her.
"Thanks, and yes, we'll do that," I said quietly to the vine, me then getting my Psycho Portal and sending it to the back of Bob's head before Raz and my group in his mind then went into Bob's, which I had a feeling would be very worse off when we encountered the nightmare fuel that was Giygas.
