This is only a fanfiction that I was inspired to write by the original work. Please support the official release of "The Vampire Diaries" and "The Originals". Most of the media - such as the art and illustrations, gifs, video's, etc. used in this fanfiction - are from the web. Thus, most of them aren't mine (because I really, really can't draw) unless mentioned. To fit the story, images are also edited by various apps and websites. So they aren't mine, just edited.

Summary: When Caroline was kidnapped by hybrid's Tyler tried to command the pack to listen to him. But we all know, he wasn't the alpha male. Lucky for Caroline and Elena, the real alpha male is willing to save his mate. On that note, we all know an alpha male, needs an alpha female. ;)

Today's Special

Alpha females don't run in packs.

She is often alone.

Keeps her circle small.

Caroline's hands are tied up in shackles. Kimberley presses down on the chains covered in vervain causing Caroline to shout out in pain. "Arghh. Why are you doing this?" She asks.

"To show Tyler who's in charge." The baby hybrid answers.

Kimberley cracks Caroline's wrists and Caroline again screams in pain. Tyler and Elena rush into the barn and towards them.

"Stop! Stop it, Kim." He shouts. "Caroline's with us. All right? We're all on the same team."

"She's on your team, not mine." Kimberley tells him.

Behind Tyler and Elena, the other hybrids enter the barn. The hybrids restrain Elena and Tyler while Kimberley continues to torture a screaming Caroline. Tyler attempts to free himself from the grasp of the two hybrids holding him back.

"Stop it! Stop!" Tyler screams.

Adrian flinches at the sound of the innocent baby vampire's cries of pain. "Ease up, Kim. Klaus won't like this." The hybrid had no idea how true he was.

Kimberley nods, "That's a very good point. Do you think he'll like this?" She picks up a stake and shows it to Tyler and the rest of the hybrids.

"Kim! Don't do it. I swear to God!" Tyler begs. Kimberley lowers the stakes towards Caroline's heart.

"No, wait, wait, wait, wait. If you really want to hit Klaus where it hurts, then torture me instead. He's fixated on keeping me alive. You want real revenge or not?" Elena says frantically.

Klaus comes in. "Well what do we have here?" He asks, his gaze darkening with anger when he sees Caroline's state. His eyes follow the stake pointed at her hand to Kimberly.

Before anyone knows what's happening Klaus has Kimberly pinned to the wall, with the stake she was once holding dropped to the ground. Klaus' hand plunged into her chest, his fingers dipping into her heart.

Kimberley takes a gasp of pain, "I'm...I'm sorry."

Klaus smiled sweetly at her, but his eyes gave away the pain that was about to come as he gave her heart a squeeze. One not mean to kill her, only cause her pain. "Sorry isn't going to cut it. No after what you've done."

"Please. We're your hybrid. If you kill us, you'll be alone forever." Kimberly says, desperately grasping at straws.

Klaus lets out a laugh, "That's hilarious. Do you really think you're my real pack? God no! You're the hybrid's I'd made with the leftovers I had of Elena's blood after I was done helping my true pack transition. They're currently safe at our pack house in Chicago. Getting accustomed to being hybrids and enjoying the benefits come with the transition."

The original then turns to Elena, "Well? What are you standing around for? Untie Caroline." He orders her. Elena jumps a bit at his look. She's snapped out of her daze by his growl and rushes to Caroline's side as fast as she can and unties the blond who begins rubbing her sore and injured wrists.

Klaus catches Caroline's gaze. She knows she should ask Klaus to let Kimberly go. It's the right thing to do. But they didn't do this for their freedom. They were using her to prove a point. She was once again collateral damage, and she was sick of it!

She wanted them to pay.

So instead, Caroline shook her head, "Just don't kill them." she tells Klaus. He gives her a small smile, before turning back to the woman gasping for breath and panicking.

Klaus lets go of Kimberly, and throws her towards the rest of his hybrids. The woman lands next to Tyler with a pained cry. He lets his gaze travel over all of his hybrids, letting them know he was addressing all of them.

"Now this is what's going to happen. You've broken your sire bond. But that doesn't mean you're completely useless to me. So if a minion is still usable, I don't see the point in killing them off. Especially when Elena can only give so much blood. Most of you will get the option of going on the run forever. Where any pack you join, will be slaughtered by me. You will live without your werewolf side ever feeling the bond of a pack again."

Caroline could see the clear look of fear in their faces. Klaus knew exactly what he was doing. He knew what punishment would be the worst for the hybrids.

"Now. The second option, in my opinion. Is far too kind for you. But I know she," He said, nodding towards Caroline, "will find the first to be cruel. Which is the only reason I'm giving you the second. The second option is that you will spend the rest of your lives, however short or long they may be. Serving me and my pack. Caroline as well, without question. Any commands we give you, you will carry out, and without any protest. Of course, to make sure this happens. You will all be under compulsion." Klaus told them.

"Most?" Kimberly asked with a quiver, having a genuine idea of what her fate may be.

Klaus smiled darkly at her. "How smart of you to catch that. Now only if you'd have used your head ten minutes ago before laying a hand on Caroline."

Kimberly turned her fearful gaze towards Caroline, begging silently with her eyes. But the baby vampire just looked the other way. Her injuries had just started to heal.

"You," Klaus said, walking towards Kimberly, "Won't get an option. You will spend the rest of your life protecting Caroline. Even if it means laying down your own life to protect her, you will. You will also treat any of her wishes as commands you must do everything in your power to fulfill. Understood?" Klaus said, compelling her.

Kimberly shuddered. She'd have to spend her life serving a baby vampire! She wanted to be alpha! Not someone's slave. She felt anger and humiliation course through her. Would he still feel the same about the little blond when she reveals that, "Yeah, well she helped unsire us."

"Oh I know." Klaus answered without missing a beat. "I've been around for a millennia. Did you honestly believe I wouldn't know a distraction when I saw one. I just choose to ignore it. Plus, her motives came from her misplaced loyalty to your pathetic lot. Something that we'll hopefully get around to correcting. Well yours were fueled solely by your desire for revenge and green." He finished, his gaze on Tyler.

Klaus then turns his gaze toward Tyler. "Tyler, my first hybrid. You used to be grateful, what happened to that? You went off to search for a way to break the sire bond. So you could be with Caroline. And yet, for some reason, you continue to smell like that werewolf. Hayley I believe." Klaus taunted, looking at Caroline from the corner of his eyes.

He honestly hated the flinch the blond gave, or how a look of hurt flashed through her face. But this wasn't just about Tyler. He needed to open her eyes as well. Klaus had to admit, he was proud of how quickly she covered her hurt and instead glared at Tyler. Causing the cheating hybrid to flinch in turn.

"You should consider yourself lucky that a part of Caroline still cares for you. And that's the only reason I'm letting you live. But I don't want you anywhere near me, and I sure as hell don't want you anywhere near her. So this is what you're going to do." Klaus said, glaring down at the boy. "You're going to run. You will take that sow, Hayley, with you as well. You will continue to run, never staying at a place longer than three days. You will live with the fact that despite how I ruined your life, you will continue to remain nothing more than an insect to me. Unable to do anything, so much as touch me. Understood."

"I understand." Tyler was forced to answer, lowering his head.

Just then, one of the hybrid's shot forward from the group and grabbed Elena. He held a broken piece of wood, with a shard edge up. "L-let us go. Or the doppelganger is dead." He demanded.

Klaus just looked at the man boredly. "What part of, I already have my pack, did you not understand? Even if you do kill her, what do you think will happen next?"

The hybrid looked around, panicked, "I'm not joking!"

Caroline had officially had enough today. She'd been kidnapped, tortured, found out her boyfriend was cheating on her! And now she had to deal with this! "Let Elena go. Now." the baby vampire growled.

The hybrid looked startled, and found his wolf's tail tucked between his legs. He was forced by his inner wolf to drop Elena and lowered and lowered his head.

Kimberly looked up, amazed, as jealousy ran through her veins as she realised that Jake's wolf had recognized the blond as his Alpha female.

Caroline looked on, surprised as she watched the wolf kneel down in front of her, barring his neck in submission. "What just happened."

Klaus smiles at her, "I always knew you were a queen. I guess I shouldn't be surprised to learn that you're an Alpha female as well."

"But I'm a vampire." Caroline says, confused.

"So?" Klaus asks, raising an eyebrow. "That doesn't change anything. Least of all the fact a true Alpha female, will always be an Alpha female."

Come on, let's be honest. I can't be the only one who wanted Klaus to come in at that moment. I originally wasn't going to give Caroline her whole Alpha female moment. But then as I was writing the summary, I realised I have a habit of painting her as kind of weak unintentionally. Which is just wrong, because we all know she's a total boss. So of course, she deserved her boss bitch moment. And that's how that little bit in the end was formed.

Also, a song that fits the ship pretty well, is 10 000 hours by Justin Bieer and Dan + Shay. Remember the whole "I wanna talk about you , your hopes, your dreams" scene. I felt like this song fit it great.
