OR RATHER, THEY HAD…black and kept to himself.

"Wow, hey, the guardians have got to stop wearing black and stop being anti-social and stop seeing Strigoi because that means they're going to turn Strigoi themselves." Christian snarled, sarcasm dripping from every word he said.

Everybody shifted at that because he had a point. He wasn't Strigoi so he had no right to be treated like that.

Strigoi or not, I didn't…table with no legs in the corner."

"Fun." Adrian said

"Whatever." She rolled her…What does it take to be left alone?"

"If you're in Saint Vladimir, then if you want to be alone then you have to go to your room because nowhere else is private." Christian shrugged.

"That's just sad." Viktoria pointed out

"Oh. So that's why…For a pity party."

"Seriously?" Karolina looked at Christian who glared at her.

"This isn't a joke…trumping her earlier distress.

"Her distress is probably one of the reasons that she's angry. Distress can cause anger and anger can cause distress." Abe said simply. He got a few stares for that but he didn't give an explanation.

He shrugged and leaned…it might not be so long."

"Did you really have to be a jerk to her then?" Karolina said, shaking her head

"You didn't know how it was before." Christian told her.

"Let me leave,"…here thinks they know who I am."

"That's the worst thing ever. People think they know you but they really don't and nobody actually knows you." Adrian said.

"What is wrong with you?" Ivan said incredulously. Adrian smiled wryly.

"What is wrong with everybody, cousin?"

"Yeah. It's kind of hard to outlive…treated him like he didn't exist.

"That's not completely correct now." Christian said "They know that I exist but they treat me like I shouldn't." he said to the questioning looks.

Olena sighed. The boy shouldn't have had to go through so much and pretend like he was fine.

Like he was a ghost…He laughed, almost approvingly.

Christian laughed this time as well, completely approvingly.

"You and Rose are going to be bad influences on poor Lissa. Let her remain innocent." Eddie chuckled.

"I think she's less innocent than she shows." Christian said with his typical smirk.

"This room has been my pity…For the good of your soul?"

"Yes?" Dimitri said with a raised eyebrow. Christian shrugged.

"You and Rose are too alike." Alberta shook her head with wry amusement.

"I hope that's not a compliment." Christian said dryly.

"Whatever," said Lissa…"You can't tell anyone," she blurted out.

"Firstly, I don't have anybody to tell to and secondly, I would never. You do what you need to survive." Christian said

This was all we needed…Moroi drink blood during sex.

The Belikovas shook their head, not fond of memories flashing in their heads.

Lissa and I hadn't had sex…He didn't look Strigoi.

"Every Strigoi is dangerous but not every dangerous person is Strigoi." Abe stated

"Exactly." Christian nodded with a smirk.

"I don't know if I have said this before and I don't know how many more times I'm going to say this but we cannot allow the world to get introduced to Christian, Rose and Abe." Alberta shook her head.

"Nah, that's gonna happen." Eddie told her "Don't get your hopes up." He added.

Gingerly, she sat back down…I snapped out of the vision.

"I'd say that was a nice date." Viktoria smiled

"Rose? Rose?"…there was turning to the dark side

Christian snorted.

But the feelings humming…looking for his own good.

The Belikovas burst out laughing. Janine did not look happy. Mason glared at Dimitri who was just shaking his head. Ivan patted his back in a show of comfort but was laughing his head off.

After all, he was an antisocial…maybe he should let me off this time.

"That's not going to work." Ivan smiled

"And it shouldn't." Alberta added with raised eyebrows.

"It won't." Dimitri assured her.

He laughed, and I was pretty…"What kind of logic is that?" I retorted.

"One that makes sense?" Christian raised an eyebrow.

But I didn't argue anymore…Some god.

"Same old Dimka." Karolina chuckled.

When I finished, he stood…talk about himself very often.

"He does not." Ivan shook his head "You need to talk more about yourself." He said to Dimitri.

"No. I attended…only place worse than Montana."

The ones who knew what Siberia was like shook their heads but looked highly amused.

A glint of something…his face grew dark.

Ivan and Dimitri's smiles dropped as well.

"They sent me here because…I was away."

"You know its not your fault right?" Ivan asked Dimitri worriedly.

"I shouldn't have been away." His friend answered

"You have to take breaks!" Ivan told him

"I have to but I can't."

Ivan frowned and tried calming his anger at how guardians were treated that they believed it was their fault when their charge died even when they couldn't do anything about it.

He fell silent, his mind…if something happened to Lissa.

"But you can't blame yourself if its not your fault…" Ivan said, shaking his head

"Hey," I said, suddenly wanting…Brute force and all that."

"That's sweet of her." Olena smiled.

"Yeah, Rose never really compliments a lot of people especially not ones she just meets." Mason informed.

He arched an eyebrow…wished I could do that.

Everybody chuckled at that.

"You're complimenting me…With the pack of psi-hounds."

"You sent psi-hounds after them?" Ivan looked at Alberta, open mouthed

"No, we didn't." Alberta said

Well then, Ivan was just hoping that the girls happened to run into them.

"This was the first time…allowing for more light.

"Watching the sunrise is a vibe though." Eddie sighed. Viktoria nodded in agreement. Dimitri and Olena raised an eyebrow at that. It was clear where Dimitri got that from.

"Especially when you're at a party and dru-" Mason said with a grin but then noticed Alberta looking at him with raised eyebrows and cleared his throat. "Especially when you're at a party and drunk on joy and water, of course." He said with a voice crack.

"You changed that at the right time." Karolina chuckled at him.

"And you'd think that you'd get used to it." Eddie snickered.

"Shut up." Mason pouted.

I had my own room because…a year before the accident.

"Rose was close to Lissa's family?" Ivan asked

"Yeah, they were like her family. Lissa's family accepted Rose as their own actually." Mason informed

I set them on my desk…What you did was inexcusable.

"That's nice." Christian said with a raised eyebrow at Janine who glared at him and Christian just shrugged.

"Love you too, Mom,"…endure some more of it this morning.

"That's right." Dimitri nodded.

My soreness made it all that…"For that long?"

"Priorities." Adrian chuckled.

"I didn't do it on purpose,"… "No. Of course not.

"She definitely is." Viktoria laughed.

"Mike and Eleven except in this case Christian is Eleven." Eddie said and smirked at Christian who rolled his eyes at him.

"Good. Because if you're…who doesn't shop at Gap Kids."

"Damn!" The kids yelled in the room and laughed.

"Gonna need some ice for that burn." Adrian grinned

"Well damn." Abe nodded with a smirk.

Dimitri shook his head fondly.

"Rose, you've got to stop…tongues down each other's throats."

"If she would have done a bit more then it would be 'friends with benefits'." Adrian said

Christian scowled.

She rolled her eyes…while the guy tried to catch them.

"That's horrible." Karolina shook her head

"That's royals." Adrian shrugged

"You're royal." Karolina told him with a raised eyebrow.

"There are a few exceptions even in the royals but most of them are like that." Adrian said

My instincts urged me to…smack one of the air users.

"Should have." Mason, Eddie and Christian said in unison

"She shouldn't especially if Lissa needs to stay off their radar." Dimitri shook his head

But I couldn't pick a…needed to stay off their radar.

Dimitri hid a smile at that.

So I could only give them…so they went at it."

Everybody snorted at that.

"That's a mental image I never thought I'd have." Adrian said amusedly.

Paul, a guy sitting nearby…I was good at them.

Abe hid a smirk.

But I fell that time…instructors would be disappointed."

"I think they'd be more disappointed that you were sneaking out." Alberta shook her head

"Nah. I get to bully her about this now." Mason grinned

"Not going to help with the amount of blackmail material she has on you." Eddie told him. Mason scoffed.

"She has nothing on me." He said

"Are you sure though?" Eddie said with a raised eyebrow

"You absolute son of-" Mason said but was grinning and wasn't succeeding at being angry. Eddie matched his grin.

Peering through the tangle…but never anything like that.

Adrian looked excited at the thought of Ms. Karp being a spirit user but then he remembered something unpleasant he'd heard about somebody with a similar name but he wasn't sure.

"Where's she now?" he asked, suddenly expecting the worst

"She's Strigoi." Alberta said quietly. Adrian sighed and just lit a cigarette. He got up from the couch and stood slightly far from the people so he could smoke in peace.

"What what did you do?"…Mark got some weed."

"Alcohol's fine but why weed?" Abe shook his head

"Even alcohol's not fine! She's not even 18." Janine told him.

I sighed wistfully…I'm with my Russian jailer."

Everybody looked amused at that especially Dimitri and Ivan.

"Should I be flattered?" Dimitri muttered

"Maybe." Ivan snickered.

He let go of my arm…"If I was ever good."

"I don't like that implication." Abe said darkly but with a raised eyebrow.

"Chapter's done." Alberta said

"Lets take a break." Olena smiled and everybody nodded.
