"I suppose fate can have the past, as long as the future is still in the making. If I have to sit in a deep dark prison cell for my next few years at least I have something to look forward to." Madara looked at Hashirama with a smirk, and he smirked back.

"Very well then, I suppose I have nothing more to offer. Farewell Hashirama Senju, as well as you, Madara Uchiha. Till we meet again in the afterlife." The sage of six paths disappeared into the air, a soul at rest. Izuna looked at his sister and the wooden idiot, he was expecting them to end that moon genjutsu thingy.

Hashirama looked up at the moon, "I guess it's time we stopped the infinite Tsukuyomi before it's too late."

She looked at the moon too, "Yes, I suppose we should." They locked hands and performed the correct hand seal needed to free everyone from their cocoons, the god tree dissipated in the distance after it could no longer feed on chakra.

The four returned to where their battle against Orochimaru took place and waited for people to awake and others to return back to life, Madara decided to split off and find Tayuya. Hikaku decided that he'd follow Izuna and reunite with Obito and hopefully tell her of her lineage. Izuna was sweating or at least he thought so, he was talking to his great-granddaughter without even knowing it and now he knew he had descendants.

Hashirama was a little nervous as he didn't see Naruto during the war but maybe if he did he could have protected him from having his tailed beast removed. He waited until he was approached from behind with a hand on his shoulder, he turned to see who he mistook for Tobirama. "So seeing as everyone's freed from their infinite dreams I'm going to take it that you beat Madara."

"Well yes, but she would prefer it have been a tie, for her pride and all." He said to his nephew.

Kakashi smiled or at least gave an impression of one with the mask and all, "Then I guess you figured it out, you saved the world and Madara. I'd say drinks are on me when we back to the village, maybe as Hokage you can even throw a victory festival."

Hashirama chuckled, "We'll discuss that when the moment arrives, but right now I think we should tend to those recovering from those endless dreams and the fallen returning back to the land of the living."

Jiraiya stood next to Kakashi, "I'm glad my faith wasn't misplaced, Lord first. You managed to do the impossible, you saved the world and with as minimal death as you could manage. You are the child of prophecy," Jiraiya said.

Hashirama replied, "I'm no child of prophecy, it was just pure luck. A chosen one wouldn't have failed as many times as I have, I mean look at me I'm a mess."

Jiraiya leaned up against a tree, "We all make mistakes, I mean history is full of them. Nobody is perfect, not even the best of us. But we all push forward to see our dreams come true, and from what I hear you're very close to achieving your dream."

Hashirama was a little embarrassed, "Well nothing is set in stone, but I'd like to say there's a chance that my dream could happen. Madara can be so unpredictable sometimes."

"All women are unpredictable, and I've learned that the hard way," Jiraiya said.

The three stood in silence as they watched Shinobi from each village gather and greeted their fellow comrades, Hashirama chuckled, "Well I guess there's something special about Madara, she brings people together."

Jiraiya saw the irony, "Yeah trying to end the world would do that, but it's better than the bickering and political landmines from before."

Hashirama was in deep thought now and Kakashi noticed his uncle's mind was elsewhere, "What's on your mind?" Hashirama wanted to answer but it was such a stupid question, "What do you think he's doing right now?"

Kakashi itched his neck, "Who are you talking about?"

"It's Tobirama, he was different than when we last met. He was a forgiving old man instead of the callous young man I knew, I'm not sure if my death was what made him into that though."

Jiraiya put his hand on his chin, "I didn't know Lord second well but he was my master's master so I got to interact with him a couple of times, he seemed like he was a harsh man with one too many skeletons in his closet. However once he took guardianship of Kakashi he had this burden he carried, I thought it was carrying the will of fire but I don't know."

Kakashi leaned against a tree or what was left of it, "When he took guardianship of me he seemed lonely and depressed, he talked about you and granny Mito a lot. I think he missed you desperately, it was sixty years since you'd seen each other."

"I wonder if he's watching over us right now," Hashirama said.

Kakashi looked up toward the sky, "Well I guess he might be happier now, knowing that we're in control of the future. But who's to say for sure, I mean how did death feel like for you?"

Hashirama wishes he could forget but dying is not something that can just fade from one's memory, "Cold, dark, and empty. There was nothing until I was reawakened by the reanimation jutsu, it was a weird feeling of being able to move and feel again but be unable to experience the pleasures of being alive, and when I say that I mean food and alcohol."

Kakashi looked into the crowd and saw a blonde teenage boy in a black and orange jumpsuit, he ran over to them and hugged Kakashi and Jiraiya. "Kakashi-sensei and pervy sage!" He then saw Hashirama, "What happened to you zombie-sensei? You look like you were thrown into a pit with a bunch of bears, and your arm was thrown into an oven."

Hashirama chuckled, "Oh that's right, you didn't know I was resurrected. Well, I'm alive now so I can't be your zombie sensei anymore, I think the proper name would be Hokage-sensei. And as for my severe burns that's thanks to Madara in our last battle, it'll heal when I regain my chakra."

Naruto looked sad, "So did you defeat her or what?"

Hashirama smiled, "It was a draw, but she told me she loves me so I'll take it as a win."

Hashirama then saw the man who helped him earlier again, he saw Naruto, Kakashi, and Jiraiya and gave his son and student a hug. "I thought I'd lost you both, I guess I owe everything to Lord First yet again."

"What do you mean Fourth?" Hashirama asked.

"Thanks to you not only is the world saved but you resurrected my son, I can never repay the debt I owe."

Hashirama raised his hand, "There's no need, it wasn't me who resurrected him, it was Madara and that weird snake man."

"Wait Madara revived him?"

Jiraiya answered, "Madara put Orochimaru in a genjutsu and ordered him to revive everyone who died during the war and before, I think she felt guilty about everything and it was her way of redemption."

Minato nodded, "Everyone deserves a second chance, even those who didn't want one. Is it alright if I asked about Obito?"

Kakashi tensed up and both uncle and teacher noticed something about his posture, "Yeah, what happened between the two of you?" Hashirama asked.

Kakashi tried his best to not be uncomfortable, "Well I guess we settled our differences and we uh kissed."

Hashirama had a smile and then laughed, "You actually did it, you sly dog."

Minato and Naruto also had a smile, "Kakashi-sensei has a girlfriend now? That's awesome." Naruto said.

"I can't believe the two of you finally got together, I never thought you'd open up to her because of how much of a shut-in you are," Minato said.

"Say wasn't she the one who gave you my first book based on my research?" Jiraiya asked slyly.

Kakashi was now extra embarrassed but hoped he'd pay them no mind, "It was a mutual thing that happened, we talked about it like adults and concluded that there was a feeling of attraction between the both of us."

"Well hopefully I'll be able to see that wedding of yours one day," Hashirama said. Kakashi bit back, "Yeah and hopefully I'll be able to see your face a little less bruised."

Everyone began laughing as Hashirama began feeling his face, "Is it really that bad?" When everyone continued to laugh Hashirama just slumped into his state of depression, "Fighting Madara was a lot nicer than this."

Madara arrived with Izuna and Hikaku at a different part of the battlefield to less than happy faces, Shinobi from all the villages just stared at her with their piercing gaze. She ignored them the best she could until she saw a woman yelling at a younger man, "If we weren't the last of the Uchiha I would kill you for what you've done."

He replied, "And I would find that attractive if we weren't related or significant enemies."

"You're a degenerate Itachi, you know that?"

"Only when it comes to you, witch."

"Why you!"

Madara stepped in to prevent the woman from strangling the man, "That is quite enough you two." She stood in between the two and looked at the younger man, "We have not formally met, I am Madara, and you are?"

The man was confused but bowed, "Itachi Uchiha of the hidden leaf."

Obito scoffed, "We playing kiss ass now, I'm not sure I could win when you're my opponent."

Itachi was curious about Hikaku," I thought there were only the three of us Uchihas left, or am I mistaken?"

Hikaku stepped forward and extended his hand for a handshake, "Hikaku Uchiha, I've been stuck in a different world for the past seven years of my life. I'm told it's been longer for everyone else, but while I'm still here I'll do whatever I can for my village and clan."

Izuna jabbed him in the side, "Or he can join me in the undead experience, it's got a lot of perks that come with it."

Madara facepalmed while Obito snickered, "At least he can't knock any other women up, I could not bare raising Izuna's children." Madara said.

Izuna laughed nervously, "So um speaking of that, this girl right here is my great-granddaughter." He pointed to Obito, both Madara and Obito were shocked beyond belief. Everyone was speechless, Obito now understood why she was above so many people in terms of raw talent and ability, but she was also upset that her grand-aunt was the same woman that made her life a living hell.

"And how did you come to this conclusion?" Madara asked hoping they'd made a mistake.

Hikaku spoke up, "I talked to Tobirama and he told me that he followed Izuna's daughter and then to her son and then to Obito, he didn't know that they were Izuna's descendants at the time because I hid them under my name so you wouldn't ruin their lives like you did your own. Though it seemed that it didn't matter regardless of my actions."

Madara was hurt, maybe if she knew about Izuna's daughter then she might not have committed to the infinite Tsukuyomi. But that was an if, it wasn't guaranteed. But Madara wished she could've raised her niece, cause it would've been Izuna's legacy. "I am ashamed for what I put you through now, I am sorry for everything, Obito," Madara said with sincerity in her voice.

"No apology can erase everything you've done to me, but I can forgive it because we're family. Just don't expect me to call you the good Aunt, after all, you've missed quite a few birthdays and holidays." Obito joked.

"Well, I suppose I will have to make up for lost time, along with your grandfather too." Madara looked to Izuna, "That is if Izuna stays, at least for a while. He cannot stay in the land of the living forever, there will come a time when he must return to our father, mother, and brothers."

Izuna semi chuckled, "I thought you would never want me to leave, but I guess Onee-chans have to grow up someday. " He then began to smile very deeply, "Especially when that Onee-chan loves a hollow head." Madara's face turned red, "I don't know what you're talking about." She folded her arms and turned around.

Izuna laughed, "He's right, you do shorten your words when you're embarrassed."

Obito being taller than Madara leaned on her left shoulder, "Now this I have to hear."

Madara replied whilst trying to shrug her off, "There's-there is nothing more to discuss."

"Well I mean you're still alive and so is the first Hokage so there's definitely more to discuss, especially after you tried killing the Kage once again." Obito said, "Oh, and by the way your genjutsus are sick, a world where everyone only talks in song is awful."

Madara was irritated, she shouldn't have been so off-guarded by Hashirama as to not notice Izuna's chakra. "If you must know we ended our battle as equals, nothing more. And once I have been freed from prison I will help Hashirama with the flaws in the village systems."

"I suspect I'll be thrown in a cell right next to you, but they might cut me some slack for being your pawn."

Itachi laughed at that, "I felt like you were the ringleader and less of a pawn, but I'm not the one to judge if a pawn should look like a clown."

Itachi irked Obito to no end, she wanted to strangle him so badly but Madara and Hikaku just held her at bay. Izuna just laughed, "She's got some of Madara's temper in her, but she has some of Miyasaki's innocence."

Obito gave up with her strangling endeavors and everyone was relieved, Madara noticed the redheaded girl she was looking for. "Tayuya!" Madara pushed Hikaku out of her way and ran to Tayuya. She embraced Tayuya in a hug, there was silence for a moment before Tayuya spoke, "Why do you look so beat up?"

Madara laughed, "I had a fight with a worthy warrior and I was damaged a little more than I had intended, my armor was destroyed as such."

Tayuya wondered, "It was that first Hokage guy wasn't it?"

Madara smirked, "He is a worthy warrior, but why do you think so?"

Tayuya looked at Madara with a knowing look, "Because he's a very handsome guy, and you're clearly in love with him."

Madara began blushing, "It's not true, why does everyone think that?"

Everyone laughed, "It's like your worst kept secret, Onee-chan." Izuna said.

Madara composed herself, "We have and always will be just friends. I will die before anything changes between us."

"Yeah, die of embarrassment maybe," Obito remarked.

Madara closed her eyes in irritation, "If you think song and dance is the worst thing I can create then you do not know what I am capable of." She attempted to activate her Sharingan but was deactivated immediately due to low chakra, she narrowed her eyes at Obito. "You would be wise to hold your tongue, Mei."

Obito stepped toward Madara, "In your current state you couldn't even use a fireball jutsu, let alone fight me."

Madara was furious due to Obito's boldness, "You may have grown a spine but that does not mean you will keep it for long if you persist on testing my temper."

"We'll see, Ōoba." Obito said with her Sharingan active again, "But today is not the day, I think we've both had enough fighting for one day. I'd rather spend one day celebrating than fighting before I get locked up, I want to experience the things I missed out on during my teenage years."

Madara stared at Obito a ghast at her maturity, "It seems you have grown up from the frail teenage girl I saved, hmm." Madara had a slight smile across her face.

Everyone was relieved that the two Uchiha women didn't start a fight, well except for Itachi who was interested in the outcome.

Tayuya looked at the other Uchiha and the reanimated Izuna, "Who are you guys?"

Izuna answered, "Well this guy right here is my friend Hikaku, and I am Izuna, Madara's younger brother."

She looked at him with a smug expression, "I expected someone with your reputation to be a little older, especially with how Madara-hime spoke of you."

Izuna laughed, "I mean we were just young adults when I died, so I never had the chance to grow old. But I haven't heard anyone call my sister Hime in a long time, does she know?"

"She gets embarrassed so I usually call her sama or sensei but Hime is just funnier," Tayuya said.

Izuna and Hikaku laughed, "Agreed, young flautist." Izuna said.

There soon was a blue-haired woman who walked up to them, "So it seems that your way was unsuccessful, Madara."

Madara barely recognized her without her cloak, "The flower, my my you've seen better days."

"And so have you, but as I see things now peace has been restored temporarily. I trust your boyfriend will make good on his promise and secure it forevermore, until then I shall return to the village hidden in the rain. Goodbye, Tayuya, and to you as well Itachi." Konan looked at Obito with a semblance of hatred, "And you." She disappeared into paper flowing through the wind.

Madara stared at the sky for a moment, "I suppose it is time to finally return to the village."

"Are you sure Miss Madara?" Itachi asked.

"Yes, the time for running has passed and now I must face the consequences of my actions. But first, we should reunite with Hashirama, I am sure he is getting along well with his allies."

Hashirama was contemplating his future, it would've been easy if Tobirama was still around to help with the political scene. But at least he had Madara now, well whenever she would be released from prison but now was not the time.

Jiraiya and Minato began catching up on all the things Minato had missed and even talked about Naruto's childhood, Jiraiya regretted not adopting Naruto but that was in the past now. Kakashi looked like he was half asleep laying against his tree, Naruto tried removing his sensei's mask but was stopped as a clone of him appeared behind Naruto. "Do you remember what jutsu I used last time?" He asked with both index fingers held together.

Naruto nodded, "The umm a thousand years of death?"

"Correct, now just remember that whenever you try to look at my face again," Kakashi said with a smile.

Hashirama wasn't paying attention to them but when he saw Madara arrive with the rest of the Uchiha and her student he ran for her and lifted her up into the air with a hug, the latter was not pleased with this action. "Put me down, you Buffon!" She yelled, she was embarrassed at all the attention they were now receiving.

Hashirama did as he was told and tried to laugh away her embarrassment, "Sorry, that's how we greeted friends in the Senju clan." Hashirama lied to the crowd that was now watching them.

The crowd bought Hashirama's poor excuse of a lie and Madara and Hashirama were now not the center of attention, at least for a second. "Madara Uchiha!" A man yelled, they turned to see the fourth Raikage, unruly Ay along with the third Tsuchikage Ohnoki, the fourth Kazekage Raza, the fifth Mizukage Zabuza Momoichi, and Lady Tsunade Senju. "You've got a lot to answer for."

Madara huffed a deep breath, "That I do, could this perhaps wait until somewhere more private."

The Raikage replied, "You lost that right when you killed my brother and enslaved the world into your dream realm, your punishment should be paid in full, now!"

Hashirama interjected, "Mr. Raikage, Madara helped me stop the infinite whatever ma jig and revived everyone who had died during the war. Naruto Uzumaki was killed during the war and now he's alive and well, her punishment should be left up to the leaf village as that is her home village."

"Oh and what of you First Hokage? I thought you were supposed to kill Madara, but now you're defending her?!"

"Problems arose and were overcome, I couldn't defeat Orochimaru and Kaguya alone. Just like how each village couldn't fight this war alone, no one village or person can bare all the weight alone, we all need somebody to lean on. If you worry about Madara just know she will pay for her crimes there is no doubt, but not now. Everyone should be celebrating for our victory, we should use this moment to pursue peace between villages."

The Mizukage spoke up, "He's right, we all came together to fight a common enemy that no one village could handle. I've fought my whole life for peace, glory, and honor, these were hollow reasons. Peace cannot be achieved alone, there's a reason teams are made up into four." Zabuza looked to Kakashi and Naruto, "I was once a disgraced Shinobi living the life of a mercenary. I was assigned by a crime boss to prevent a bridge from being built in the land of waves. The only thing stopping me from killing a simple bridge builder was Kakashi Hatake and his squad of genin, I subdued Kakashi and was ready to end the fight when his genin managed to free their Sensei. If he didn't have a squad with him I would have accomplished my contract and probably died attempting another coup d'etat, but because I was stopped by Kakashi, the crime boss tried betraying me and I killed him for it. It's a silly thing to think that my whole fate hinged on a group of kids." He stood by Hashirama and Madara.

The Raikage was getting irritated, "And what does that have to do with Madara!?"

Raza stepped forward, "I too have made terrible mistakes in the past for my village, I made a pact with Orochimaru to crush Konoha, I regret my actions severely but I thank the leaf for forgiving me. The third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi was a good man and a great humanitarian. Everyone deserves to repent for their sins no matter how severe, we all must persevere through the brightest days and the blackest nights. Our villages have always been at odds with each other but we pushed aside our differences for the greater good, if Madara helped the first Hokage in stopping this war then she has every right to the celebrations as any of us. The village hidden in the sand stands with the leaf and mist for the quest for peace." He walked next to Madara and Hashirama.

"What?!" The Raikage yelled, "This isn't a matter of peace or not, all I care for is that Madara's head be on a plaque."

Hashirama held his temper but before he could say anything Madara stepped in front of him, "If you wish me dead fine, but just be truthful to your word and secure peace with the other villages."

"Madara..." Hashirama breathed out.

Madara gave him a weak smile, "I started this whole war for peace, so if my death can create peace then I am content."

Ohnoki stumbled out in front of the Raikage and all eyes were on him, he stared up at Madara like the day she visited the stone village. "I last saw both the first Hokage and Lady Uchiha back when I was a lad, I wasn't knowledgeable of being a scholar or a politician so I didn't quite understand why accepting foreigners into our borders would bring about peace. But now that I am older and wiser I understand, I also understand sadness and happiness when I see it." Ohnoki looked at Madara with empathy, "I could tell then that Lady Uchiha was unhappy and disgruntled, but seeing her now I see she has finally come to terms with herself. Lady... Madara deserves a second chance like us all, one doesn't get brought back from the dead very often so I say she deserves it. And if you can't agree with that fourth Raikage then you'll have to go through the stone village before you lay a finger on her." He turned around and stared at the Raikage.

Madara was shocked at Ohnoki finally growing a backbone, and then Raza spoke, "And the sand village as well."

"And the mist," Zabuza said with his fiance standing next to him. Minato decided to speak up as well, "I may not be the current Hokage and honestly I don't even know who's acting Hokage at this point but I'm sure that every member of the leaf would agree with me when I say that we will never sacrifice one of our own without a reason, so I stand by Madara's redemption."

There then became a crowd standing behind Madara, Shinobi from mist, stone, sand, cloud, and leaf stood together. Madara was touched that so many would just stand up for her life after all she'd done, she was happy.

The Raikage was furious as members of his own village sided against him, but he sighed, "If members of my own village are against me then I have no other choice than to agree with them. Fine, Madara Uchiha can be free for today but just know that I'll be waiting for the day she slips up. Cause I will have revenge for my brother."

"Your brother should be alive again," Madara said. "At least that is what the art of Rinne rebirth is supposed to do, but I guess I would not know because it was never used on me." She said sarcastically.

The Raikage was just defeated, his whole argument hinged on Madara starting the war and Bee being dead due to Madara. "The hidden cloud will agree to any and all terms to secure peace between the villages." He stated.

The mood changed to be less tense and Hashirama felt relief, the only thing he was thinking of at this moment was a nice long rest. He closed his eyes and thought of a nice warm bed but his thoughts were interrupted by a voice, "Getting tired are we, Hashirama?" He opened his eyes to see Madara smirking.

"Well I haven't had the chance to take a break from fighting, plus I haven't had a real chance to sleep. Well, there was one chance but I was too drunk to remember it."

"I have to agree, but I think a celebration once we return to the hidden leaf village would not be so bad."

"That's still a couple of days away, I think it'd be best if we had a huge campsite and then began celebrating."

"You can do that, Hashirama. I will return to the hidden leaf, I want to make sure preparations are ready by the time everyone else returns."

Hashirama began scratching his head, "But umm how will you get there in a timely fashion, you're out of chakra?"

She smiled, "You leave that to me, just enjoy yourself a little bit. I do not want to regret what I said earlier." She began to look uncomfortable and then stood up on her tippy toes and pressed her lips to Hashirama's right cheek, she began to walk away into the now erupting crowd. Hashirama felt like he couldn't breathe from such an act, he almost fell backward if it weren't for Izuna standing right behind him.

Madara shuddered after leaving Hashirama's sight, "How could you do something like that Madara?! Especially with how many people were around, do you know what someone seeing us do that kind of thing do to our pride and public image?!" A higher pitched and angry version of Madara's voice said in her head.

"Now hold on, Madara already confessed that she loved that dopey idiot. What does it matter if someone saw us kiss him on the cheek? We have been wanting to do that again for so long, now was the chance to do it." A lower and happier voice said.

Madara must've been hallucinating cause she then saw an angel version of herself and a devil version on top of a wooden log, "What sort of trickery is this?" She asked.

"We are a part of your moral conscience, I am all of your positive thoughts." The angel said.

"And I am your negative thoughts, but there is more to us than just positive and negative." The devil said.

"I do not need counseling from figments of my imagination, I already faced my trials and tribulations without fear," Madara said.

The angel and the devil started laughing, "Oh Madara, you do not understand what we mean." The devil said.

"You have only just started your trials, now you must face the trial of a villager and possibly a lover." The angel said.

"I am a warrior and a prideful one at that, I will not become just a lowly villager that stays at home all day."

The devil laughed, "So what, you think that they will just."

The angel quirked her lips, "You should trust Hashirama, he only has our best interest in mind. We are not alone anymore, there are people whom we can rely on now."

"Do not listen to this pathetic excuse of ourself, there is only one person we can trust and that is ourself." The devil said.

"Why are you just appearing? I could have used a conscience long ago."

"Well usually we do not appear for someone like you, however, someone wanted to see you and we needed a new vessel to do our job." The angel said.

Madara wasn't one for being stumped or confused but this was something else, "So you are not a part of my conscienceness?"

The devil just facepalmed, "It is a lot more complicated than what you may think, we are a part of a spiritual organization that is supposed to help people make difficult decisions for a short period of their life, but our policy is to help those who have not killed anyone. However we have not gotten to have a vessel in over a hundred years, usually, you'd have to be consenting but because of a deal with a soul down under he gets to see you once in return for us having a vessel. It was a deal we could not refuse." The devil said.

"And who was this soul that used me in a deal without my consent?"

Madara noticed that a fog enveloped the surrounding area and she could see nothing, it was like she was swallowed by the fog. She wanted to ask her shoulder consciences but they were nowhere to be seen, Madara started walking through the fog until she reached a shoji door. It had the Uchiha crest on it, she opened the shoji and was presented with a tatami-matted floor and a small table in the middle with three cushions around it. It was vaguely familiar but then again rooms like these are a dime a dozen, she carried on to a side room that looked to be an office with hundreds of scrolls on the wall.

She noticed two scrolls that were laid on the desk already, and she began to read the one on the left. "To my dearest rival Butsuma Senju; We have known each other on the battlefield since the day we could carry a sword, I know that this war between our clans has gone on long enough and I know that you feel the same. What we do affects all of those in our clans and at this moment all anyone knows is war and death, I want it to end for the sake of my children and their children. The only way I know is a tradition as old as our clans, an arranged marriage. My daughter Madara has recently turned sixteen and your eldest son Hashirama has turned seventeen, they are perfect for such a treaty. We both know of their affairs to the Naka river not so long ago, they have the history and they have both surpassed us in strength. I will be honest that Madara killed her last suitor, a Hyuga prince. I promised her I would not use her in another arranged marriage but I am at my wit's end when it comes to war. I hope this finds you well, old friend. Please reply to me with a date and place to speak of this more, signed Tajima Uchiha, leader of the Uchiha clan."

Madara was baffled at what she had just read, her father wrote a letter to Butsuma Senju, Tajima could barely hold his anger for the man how could he have written a letter to him? Madara also couldn't believe that her father tried arranging a marriage to Hashirama, but what was wrong must've been in the second scroll.

The second scroll read, "To my long-time enemy and old friend; I agree that the war between our clans has gone on long enough, however, there are some in my clan who disagree with these views but if a treaty through marriage were to happen then no one could challenge it. I recommend that we keep this treaty between only our trusted allies and friends, we don't want those who despise this idea to kill it before it's even come to fruition. I don't worry about my children's future as it is not my place to do so, their future is their own now and I have played the role of the guardian long enough. I find the Hyuga prince funny because he was everything Hashirama isn't, and I doubt she could kill Hashirama so easily. For our location we should meet in disguises in the Akimichi encampment, they are neutral between our clans and don't benefit from either of us being killed. I will have sent a word to Chozen Akimichi of arrival by the time you read this, so he'll be expecting you first if I'm a little late. As for the date, how about we meet on Friday the thirteenth, it's a very superstitious day and I'll plan a festival to make sure no one is the wiser of our plans. I'm happy that after all this time we could finally end our squabble, oh and I should ask if your leg is doing better but I can wait till our meeting. From Butsuma Senju, overseer of the Senju." There was a side note on the bottom, "Does overseer sound right? I mean leader sounds a little outdated and I thought of commander, general, and head Senju but they lack that oomph you know? Feedback would be nice."

Madara was surprised that Hashirama's father was willing to let them marry, "Were they really that desperate to end the fighting, if so what happened?"

Madara's vision then became nothing but white and then she saw what she assumed was the Akimichi encampment, she saw her father enter the encampment wearing a grey cloak and a straw hat. He entered a small building and closed the shoji door, another man wearing a brown poncho entered and Madara followed through the door. She saw her father sitting at a table next to who she assumed was the leader of the Akimichi clan, he was a big burly man with brown hair. "Ah, there he is," He got up and shook Butsuma's hand, "It's been quite some time since either of your clans have reached out, may I ask what this is about?"

Butsuma and the Akimichi leader, Chozen sat down at the table, "Well it's about a treaty between our clans." Butsuma said.

"So that's why the both of you are here, makes sense. What type of treaty is it?"

Tajima spoke up, "An arranged marriage between his eldest son and my daughter."

"Hmmm, it's a sound idea but how about your children, have they been informed?" Chozen asked.

Tajima and Butsuma looked at each other, "We think it better that they do not know until the wedding." Tajima said.

"I see, then I am to help make sure this treaty happens through a third party?" Chozen asked.

"Yes, we need a witness for it and so we can plan out the details," Butsuma said.

"Alright, then let us begin," Chozen said.

They began writing on a large scroll, first, they wrote down each others wants and demands, second they signed their names, thirdly they signed it with their seals, and fourthly they set up all the arrangements for the wedding, and then they shook hands when they stood up.

"I suppose this will be our last time meeting each other as opposing clan overseers," Butsuma said.

Tajima chuckled, "Overseer sounds incorrect, if you had chosen anything else it would sound right."

The scroll stayed with Chozen until the day of the wedding and the two leaders left the village, Tajima wanted to make sure no one was around on his way back to the Uchiha encampment, he felt an eerie chakra near Butsuma and he hurried to assist him but was too late as he saw a member of the Uchiha clan slit his throat with a dagger. The Uchiha turned to Tajima to show that it was also Tajima. It transformed into a weird black creature that Madara knew as Black Zetsu, "Well well well, it seems that I won't have to go far for you now." Zetsu said.

"What the hell are you?!" Tajima asked.

"Something that can't have you creating peace, I need your war with the Senju to go a little while longer until Madara is ripe for my plans."

Madara was angered by this memory, Zetsu killed Hashirama's father and was talking about her like she was an object. Tajima himself was angered by Zetsu talking about Madara, "You will not ever go near my daughter!" Tajima was prepared for a fight with the black goo monster, but then he reasoned that making it back to the Uchiha compound would be a safer option so he could warn Madara of this creature. He began to run through the trees with the Black Zetsu following him, it started laughing, "Yes, continue running. It will only make getting your body back to the Uchiha easier, and it'll awaken Madara's Mangekyou as a bonus."

Tajima slipped on his bad leg moments away from the compound, Black Zetsu used its dagger to start stabbing into Tajima's back while he was on the ground. Tajima flipped over with his mouth full of fire energy but his mouth was kept shut by black Zetsu, Tajima used an earth-style jutsu to knock Black Zetsu off of him. Zetsu threw its dagger into Tajima's chest, it barely missed his heart. He screamed in agony and Black Zetsu was going to continue attacking him but it stopped, it sensed someone coming closer and disappeared into the shadows itself.

Madara was saddened by what happened next, it was a sixteen-year-old Madara running with a lantern until she saw her father, "Father!" The young Madara ran to Tajima's side, "Do not worry, I will take you to someone who can help, just hold on!" She said, trying to cradle her father into her arms. Madara ran with Tajima on her back until she was stopped by him, "Madara please stop, I am already on borrowed time so please give me the courtesy of saying goodbye." She sat him down and held his hand and gripped it tightly, "You have grown into a beautiful young woman and a fine warrior, I am so proud of you. Please do good by your brother, cause you are the leader of the Uchiha now. I was hoping you would not have to be a leader so young but I guess I have no choice, protect the clan, your brother, and find happiness for yourself. Tell Izuna that he is the man of the house now and that I love you both."

He began coughing up blood and Madara screamed, "Father! I..." Tears began running down both the young and present Madara's faces.

"Please do not shed a tear for me, I hate to see you wallow in grief my Mada-chan... Be careful with who you trust, some people might want to use you, do not let them..."

"I will not let them, father." Young Madara said.

Tajima coughed up some more blood and his breathing was slowing, "I shall say hello to your mother and brothers, I am sorry for being a terrible father..." Tajima's life faded in his daughter's arms, "Father? Father?!" Young Madara began wailing in agony with her eyes closed and tears trailing down her face, when she reopened her eyes they were that of red of the Sharingan but with a different pattern, it was that of her base Mangekyou.

The memory began to fade into whiteness, when her vision returned she saw the Naka river, and then she heard an older man's voice, "I wanted to show you that before I talked to you, it was important that you saw the circumstances of my death." Tajima materialized in a cloud of smoke, "I was told by this weird albino man that meeting in the dreamscape was an option, I wish I knew his name so I could thank him for this opportunity. I struck a deal with those weird spirits to get here."

"Father? Is that you?!" Madara asked. "Why, why show me all that? I have endured more than you could know, what difference does any of that make?"

Tajima scrunched his face and itched his neck, "I do not know of what you have experienced, but you can do with it as you want. I just wanted to see my Mada-chan while she's all grown up."

Madara loosened up her posture to show her father that she was no longer agitated, "If you wished to do that then you should have done this sixty-seven years ago before I threw my life away."

Tajima was never the heartfelt parent, nor was he the comforting type, but now he wanted to make right by his children for once. "You are right, but I only just found out about those small spirits and they agreed to let me see you for fifteen minutes. So there is not enough time for you to explain what happened but I can ask this simple question, are you happy my dear?"

"I..." Madara was questioning it herself, happiness is not an emotion she is familiar with. Earlier today she would have said no but now she talked to Hashirama about that dreadful word, love. A shiver went down her spine as she thought of it, "My how far I have fallen, to think so long ago I would have never thought about what I had wanted."

Madara steadied herself, "I suppose I might be, for once in my lifetime."

Tajima smirked, "I am glad, for whatever it is worth. May I ask to what would make my little warrior happy, Hashirama Senju I presume?" Madara began to blush, "Father!"

Tajima chuckled to himself, "So it is, are you already married, are you to be wed soon, or have you any children?"

"No, none of the sorts. I may look young still but I am eighty-nine mentally, it is better to not ask."

"I suppose not, in any case, that would be weird but a man was able to literally leave the realm of the spirits by shifting through space so."

"That must have been Hashirama's brother, Tobirama Senju. I felt his chakra inside his great grandson and... Izuna's great granddaughter after he was reduced to ashes."

Tajima looked at his daughter once more but with a tear, "I wished I could have been the good father you wanted but I could not, I hope you and Izuna will be better than me at parenting."

Madara saw the area around her start to crumble, "You have to go now I assume?"

"It seems that way. I wish I could have seen Izuna too, but from what the spirits told me, he is not in the land of the spirits or alive in the land of the living."

Madara cleared her throat, "Izuna has been dead for a long time, however, he was brought back as a reanimation. He would like to stay for a little while longer, but when he returns you can talk to him as much as you want."

Tajima began fading, "Stay true to yourself, Mada-chan. And know that no matter what you do, I will always love you." He gave her a hug and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

Madara opened her eyes to see where she was before she was pulled into her father's memory, she composed herself and started walking forward.

"So how was meeting your father?" The angel said. Madara cringed at the voice, "Oh, you are still here."

"Of course we are, he made a deal, and you were his bargaining chip." The devil said.

Madara tried looking on the bright side, "At least I will have something to talk to on the journey, but I wish it were someone less annoying."

The angel perked up from around her mane, "Oh come on, Madara. We are good companions, but you will just have to see."

Madara sighed, "I cannot wait." She continued on her way to the hidden leaf village.

Hashirama sat on a log as the sun was setting, he watched as some temporary tents were set up. He watched as Kakashi was setting up a tent with Obito and Minato, and Naruto was helping everywhere with over a hundred clones setting up tents. Hashirama would have done the same but he was still resting from his battle with Madara, some members of the sand, mist, stone, cloud, and leaf were dancing and drinking around a bonfire.

A group of Shinobi were even playing instruments, one played a guitar, another played the trumpet, one played the drums, one played the saxophone, and two others sung. Hashirama was intrigued by the song as it was an upbeat song with harsh lyrics.

"Creeping from the depths of silence.

The pillars that reside within the night come out to claim you.

Bring your courage through the violence, painted with crimson blood tonight, you know just what to do.

And though the road may be long, your love will take you by the hand.

So smile through the dark and you'll understand.

Breathe in and dominate the night.

Avoid the dangers left and right.

Your blade will find your enemy, so let it be your guide.

Soon enough you'll see the story's end, so hear it out forever.

Like a bloody storm, you'll burn up like a bloody stone.

Your bloodline's string of destiny is one you've always known. Maybe then, you'll see the bonds you've made so happily.

Your destinies sewn tightly together.

Bear the mark of someone you love.

The power that they bring will win the fight so try and take care.

Dancing above pain you know of.

You live for the moments you recall and feelings that you share.

The dawn will break through the night, all of your dreams will light the way.

Your fate will glow in the sun in a grand array.

Roll through the brightly burning heights.

Across the light within the skies.

The path you weave will show the conflict between you and I.

We cannot escape this dreary end, no matter what we both do.

Like a bloody soul, we'll burn up like a bloody star.

Our blades will swipe through violent winds as flames rush through our hearts.

No one else can try and break through their fears deep inside.

And join the fight! Passion flows deep in you...

May your soul resonate. With the ripple of Fate and start. Guiding your heart.

Breathe in and dominate the night. Avoid the danger left and right.

Your blade will find your enemy, so let it be your guide.

Soon enough you'll see the story's end, so bear it out forever.

Like a bloody storm, you'll burn up like a bloody stone.

Your bloodline's string of destiny one you've always known.

Maybe then you'll see, the bonds you've made so happily.

Your destinies sewn tightly together."

Hashirama enjoyed the song a lot but he noticed someone else enjoy the song more than himself, Madara's pupil, Tayuya. She was bobbing her head and hands throughout the entire song, and Hashirama decided to go talk to her, "Hello There, I'm afraid we never properly met, I'm Hashirama Senju. And you are?"

She looked at him with an unamused look and returned to her flute she was now playing, Hashirama felt insulted by the teenage girl's behavior but he was still new to talking to teenagers. "Listen I'm not someone to be scared of, I just wanna talk."

She let out an exasperated sigh, "I am not scared of anyone, least of all a lost puppy like you, but I'll humor you like Madara-sensei. My name is Tayuya of the Akatsuki, but Madara-sensei wants to call me Tayuya of the demon flute."

Hashirama smiled, "It is nice to meet you, Tayuya of the demon flute. How'd you become Madara's apprentice? She's not the type to entrust a legacy to others."

"I don't know, she offered me a chance to train under her and I said yes. She was a harsh sensei, but she was nicer than lord Orochimaru." Tayuya said.

"Her methods can be extreme, but she has a big heart," Hashirama said.

"I suppose that's true, especially when we met someone named Touka. She freaked out because she said that Madara loved you, honestly, I don't see it."

"Wait did you say Touka?! So she's still alive, where is she?"

"I don't know, she was a fortune teller for some traveling carnival. Maybe you should ask Madara-hime for that," Tayuya said.

Hashirama laughed, "Hime huh? Well, I haven't heard someone call her that in a long time, that reminds me of..." Hashirama was stopped by his apprentice. "Hokage-sensei, I'm almost done helping with the tents."

Hashirama chuckled, "Good job, Naruto. But I'd like for you to meet someone, this is Madara's apprentice, Tayuya of the demon flute."

The two teenagers looked at each other, Tayuya was unsure how to feel about this blonde boy. Naruto spoke first, "Hi, I'm Naruto Uzumaki. It's nice to meet you." He gave her a toothy grin and reached his hand out for a handshake. Tayuya looked at him and sighed, "Hi, I guess." She shook his hand while maintaining as little eye contact as possible. After a second of silence Tayuya said, "As our sensei's know each other well, I suppose we'll meet again, blondie." She left before he could say goodbye back.

Watching the two caused Hashirama to have some Deja Vu, he chuckled to himself. Naruto snapped to his sensei, "What's so funny and why'd she call me Blondie?"

"Well to answer both questions, I think she likes you."

Naruto was befuddled, "But we just met, how could you guess that?"

Hashirama shrugged, "Well my knowledge of women is lacking, but I know Madara, and Tayuya being her student leads me to guess that there are some traces of Madara in her personality."

Naruto started pacing, "Well what should I do, ask her if she likes me but that'd be weird after just meeting."

Hashirama just touched his shoulder, "Relax, you just met so don't worry too much. Just get to know her and then decide if you like her, you don't have to rush anything if you don't want to hurt her feelings, or yours. Good things are awarded to those that wait."

Naruto narrowed his eyes, "Didn't you wait almost a hundred years?"

Hashirama sulked his shoulders, "I'm not that old..." It took his brain a couple of seconds to do the math, "Technically..."
