Somewhere else in the camp, Reginald was being interrogated in for info on the clan and what happened to the airship. And he wasn't exactly in a joyous mood. "I already told you, it was that girl and Henry working together! That traitor tricked us and killed most of us, and for what?"

Charles, Henry and Galeforce walked in and up to the window which they could see Reginald and the soldier interrogating him through. "There he is." Galeforce announced. The soldier who was interrogating Reginald came out of the room and looked at the three. "From what we can gather, the girl identified as Ellie Rose came face to face with the late Right Hand Man and he made a deal with her. They were going to let her go as long as she captured Henry, allowing Copperbottom to take the leadership again, but he could not exactly explain the reason behind the explosion."

The general started thinking. "Hmm, Henry said that he had nothing to do with the explosion, right?" Henry confirmed with a nod. "So the only explanation here is Ellie planting some sort of bomb before getting to Henry."

Charles questioned. "But why would she do that?"

Inside the room, Reginald had noticed that Henry was standing outside with everyone else. Feeling enraged, he started yelling. "YOU!" Though it was muffled by the glass, it caught Henry's attention.

Reg composed himself and continued. "So, you finally decided to turn your back on the Toppat Clan? I hope you're happy with yourself. I hope it was worth it."

Henry frowned at the mustached man but said nothing. Maybe this was a blessing in disguise, he was the leader of a gang with a treacherous right hand man, and he got out of that situation alive, now he's back in the government's good graces.

Yeah. Maybe, it was better this way.

Then Henry turned back to the group and listened in.

"Apparently, a vehicle belonging to The Wall was found a distance away from where the airship crashed as well."

There was no doubt in Henry's mind that this was the vehicle Grigori was in, but he was surprised to hear his body wasn't found there. Did the warden have it taken or something?

General Galeforce hummed in thought. "Alright. I think there's no other explanation for the explosion. It must've been orders from the Wall to Ellie to take them out, as a secondary target. I'll have someone go and check the place Henry described where Ellie 'killed' him, and some other soldiers investigate the surrounding areas. Might be able to find something of use to us. In the meantime Henry, you can sit tight and I'll inform you as soon as we have something."

Henry thanked the general, then Charles turned to him. "Come, I'll keep you company in the meantime. We can even go on a helicopter ride, if you want." The two friends then left.

"Alright soldier, take the Toppat leader to his cell then gather our team and inform them of their mission."

"Yes sir, I'm on it."

...

Ellie started to notice the familiar perimeters of the Wall as the truck she was in slowly came to a stop. Dmitri stood up and gestured for her to do the same. "We're here. Let's go."

Ellie reluctantly followed the Russian warden out of the truck as he and everyone else led her back inside. Dmitri started speaking again. "Come to my office first, Ellie. I'd like to have a word with you."

"You just love acting all smug, don't you?" Ellie seethed back. "What could you possibly say there that you couldn't have said back in the truck?"

"I just love the comfort of my office, wouldn't you agree?"

"That place is less comfortable than any of your cells."

Dmitri hummed. "Well, that's just too bad."

The Wall's workers dispersed as Ellie walked with the warden to his office. Keeping up the tough demeanor is starting to drain her, but she can't afford to look pathetic under his thumb. Not letting that happen in a thousand years.

Dmitri opened the door to his office and walked in, taking a seat on his chair. "Come in and take a seat, Ellie".

The girl did as she was told and let out a sigh. "We're here now. Say what you will and let me go back to my cell."

"You won't be back to your own cell, girl. I really missed putting prisoners in maximum security." The warden allowed him to smile a little as he spoke the words, the satisfactory face he was making was very irritating.

"Fine. Maximum security, whatever. That doesn't scare me."

"Spunk, you have that, I'll admit. But what you don't have, Ellie..." Dmitri got up and turned to the window as he paused for dramatic effect. "...is the ability to think your plans through."

Ellie got defensive. "How on earth was I supposed to know you were in cahoots with some mysterious shadowy organization? That's the only reason you were even able to find me."

Silence...

"Do not underestimate the Wall, Ellie Rose. This complex has a 50 years streak with no incident under my command for a reason. But more importantly..." He turned back to her again with the most serious, scary look he had.

"I might have been impressed by your ability to carry out your mission, but you really signed your own death certificate when you killed my second-in-command."

"It's not my fault that he was in the way. I do what I have to do to survive." She stated firmly.

Dmitri stroked his beard. "That's almost an admirable attitude. Too bad I'm the one who won here."

Ellie raised an unconvinced eyebrow. "Why do you even care anyway? It seems to me like you can easily hire anyone to be in his position."

"You don't know everything about us, Ellie. He was more of a friend than you'll ever know, and the only one I saw fit for the job. Don't ever speak of us like that ever again." He warned with subtle anger.

Ellie looked off to the side, not sure what to think anymore.

"One last thing...Henry really is dead, right?"

The redheaded girl turned back to the warden, almost sounding offended. "Of course he is. What do you take me for?"

Dmitri raised his hands in protest. "No need to get snippy. Just making sure. Now, it's time for you to go. I really hope you regret your actions, Ellie, I really do. Goodbye."

...

Next thing Ellie knew, she was put in maximum security. It was dark with the light barely getting in from the bottom. The girl sunk into a fetal position and buried her head in her arms.

Darkness...I guess it's my home now.

A constant reminder of the actions that landed me here.

But it's not fair.

Why is he allowed to get away with tricking me and I'm not?

I messed with the wrong person.

Every decision that I made since landing here was bad.

Now...I'm all alone because of it...

And just in case someone happened to be passing by, Ellie tried suppressing the crying sounds coming from here.

But it wasn't easy.
