Leia was walking back to her quarters at the Jedi Temple when she saw Barriss Offee run outside. Leia followed her. Barriss lead her to her husband Jackar Bowmani in their apartment. Leia saw Barriss put something in his food and put it in front of her. Leia pushed the bowl away from him. "Don't eat that! She put something in it! "Leia shouted. "Leia! How did you find me? "Barriss asked "I followed you from the temple. What did you put in his food? "Leia asked. "Nanodroids to blow up the hanger at the Jedi Temple. They have lost their way and act like Sith. I planted evidence in Ahsoka's quarters so they would blame her. "Barriss explained. "Why Ahsoka?" Leia asked "I don't know. I was told by Count Dooku to do that. "Barriss answered. "Sidious! She is Anakin's padawan. He is trying to sever his attachments. "Leia groaned.
"Why do you care about Anakin slave girl?" Barriss asked. Leia force closed the door. "I am from a future in which the Sith rule the galaxy. Anakin became a Sith Lord named Darth Vader because Palpatine lured him somehow. Anakin is my father and I will not let him fall. "Leia warned. "Really? That is horrible. Are you saying Palpatine is a Sith Lord? "Barriss asked. "Yes, he is. Don't give in to the darkside. I can't believe you would kill your own husband to prove a point. "Leia groaned.
"The Jedi must be taught a lesson. "Bariss growled. "I can help you. I have been trying to get the council to change it's ways. "Leia said. "Please stop this it won't change anything. "Leia said. They headed to the Jedi Temple. The next day they spoke to the council. "I would have carried out the bombing because to me the Jedi have become more and more like the Sith. "Barriss explained. "Agreed I with you I am. Wrong the Jedi are fighting in a war. Wrong they are hurting innocent civilians. "Yoda said. "You save us a lot of trouble Master Leia. "Mace Windu said. "Thanks. I am just trying to keep us out of trouble. "Leia replied. Leia left the temple and went to visit Padme.
Padme met Leia in her apartment. "You are getting big. "Leia said. Padme shook a little. "The baby kicked I think it might be you. "Padme replied "And Luke as well. Which means we are running out of time. "Leia warned. "You don't mean Anakin is about to turn to the dark side? "Padme asked. "I am gonna stop it. He won't fall this time. "Leia said.
Leia was flying her Blue ETA-2 jedi starfighter. It made her feel like she was flying a tie fighter. She, Ob Wan, and Anakin were right in the middle of the battle for Coruscant. "Flying is for droids! "Obi Wan groaned. "Come on you know you like it Obi Wan. "Leia replied. A droid tri fighter came up behind the jedi. Leia watched several ARC-170s fighting and being destroyed by vulture droids and tri fighters. An ARC-170 took out the tri-fighter, but not before it released buzz droids. Some of the buzz droids landed on Obi Wan starfighter. "Great Buzz Droids! "Obi Wan groaned. Leia shot them off one by one. She blasted one away just as it was about to cut into R4. "Obi Wan I just saved your droid. "Leia said. "Thanks. We still need to save the chancellor. He is on that ship down there. "Obi Wan located the invisible hand the flagship of General Grievous. The three of them flew towards the ship as the hanger doors were closing. "It's going to be close. "Obi Wan warned. They cleared the hanger doors and crash landed inside. They met up and had the droids wait by a control panel for the elevator while R2D2 was given a comm to listen for orders to start the elevator. The Jedi grabbed a cable and were pulled up when Artoo started the motor. When the jedi reached the top they jumped off and followed a corridor only to be caught by Count Dooku and a ton of battle droids.
They were brought into a room at the top of the ship. Palpatine sat tied to a chair. General Grievous held their lightsabers. "Your lightsabers will make an interesting addition to my collection. "General Grievous said as he put their lightsabers on his cape. Leia noticed Grevious's mask. It looked similar to Darth Vader's. "Maybe his technology was used to build Darth Vader." Leia thought. There was an explosion and the ship rocked. The Jedi called their lightsabers to their hands. Anakin and Obi Wan went after Dooku and Leia went after Grievous. "I will not be beaten by a slave girl! "Grievous shouted. "I am not a slave girl! "Leia shouted as she struck at Grievous. Grievous started to run away, however Leia jumped in front of him. "Going somewhere coward! "Leia shouted. Leia swung at Grievous, and he blocked her. Leia damaged Grievous by cutting off his left arm. He split his right arm into two arms each holding a lightsaber. He started swinging them both. Leia swung and damaged Grievous chest exposing his organs. Grievous looked down at it and tried to protect his organs. Leia struck his exposed heart with her lightsaber and he fell down with sparks flying and flames coming out of him. Leia turned and saw Anakin holding his blue lightsaber and Dooku's red lightsaber in an x formation by his neck. Dooku looked scared and Palpatine looked on in interest.
"Do it! "Palpatine shouted. Leia had to act fast. She force pushed Anakin away just as he started to close the lightsaber blades together. "Don't strike down an unarmed opponent or you will give in to the dark side. "Leia warned. Palpatine groaned to himself. "We need him alive Anakin to reveal who the other sith lord is. "Obi wan said. Anakin calmed down. Just then the ship was struck by blaster fire from a republic cruiser and started to fall. They freed Palpatine and raced through the ship. The ship tilted down towards the planet at a steep angle causing everyone to fall past the escape pods. They made it to the bridge. Anakin sat in the pilot's seat and started to steer the ship. Everyone else sat nearby and the droids stood on the bridge. The ship broke in half as it entered the atmosphere of Coruscant. "We will take you in. "A pilot from a fire fighting ship said. Anakin steered towards a landing strip. Anakin brought the crippled part of the ship down on the strip sliding to a stop. They left the ship and were met by a crowd. Anakin went off and found Padme behind a column. "Anakin something wonderful has happened. I'm pregnant. "Padme said. "Wow! I will have to leave the Jedi order and you will have to leave the senate. "Anakin replies. "Leia what do you think of this? "Anakin asked Leia. "I already knew because I talked to Padme before you returned. I fear this could be what leads you to the dark side. "Leia warned. "Palpatine wants to see both of us at the opera tonight. "Anakin alright. "Leia you might want to borrow one of my gowns for tonight. "Padme said. "No thanks I am fine. "Leia replied.
Anakin and Leia went to the opera and sat in Palpatine's box. Anakin was on the right side of Palpatine and Leia was on the left. "Hello Anakin, how are the Jedi treating you? "Palpatine asked. "They hold me back. "Anakin said. "They fear your power. "Palpatine replied. "Only because their arrogance blinds them." Leia added. "Have you ever heard of the tragedy of Darth Plagueis the wise?" Palpatine asked. "Darth Plagues was a Sith Lord. "Leia stated. "He was so powerful that he could even keep the ones he loved from dying yet he couldn't save himself. "Let my guess you killed him Darth Sidious. "Leia thought. "Can this power be learned? "Anakin asked. "Not from a Jedi. "Palpatine answered.
Leia couldn't believe it. Palpatine was playing Anakin like a fool with his lies. She followed Anakin to Padme's apartment. "Do you guys' mind if I stay with you tonight? "Leia asked. "Not at all. "Anakin answered. Leia went to sleep wearing one of Padme's nightgowns. She suddenly had visions of Padme screaming in pain and saw Anakin being turned into Darth Vader. Leia woke up and heard voices in the distance. She found Anakin and Padme on the Maranda. "I am not losing you. "Anakin shouted at Padme. "You are not going to lose her. "Leia replied. "I had visions last night of Padme dying and you being turned into Darth Vader. "Leia explained. "I saw Padme dying. "Anakin said. "I saw a lot more of it. "Leia said. "Leia what did you see? "Padme asked. "I saw you crying and saying you were sorry and forgave Anakin at the same time he was being put into the Darth Vader suit. You both died of a broken heart in a way. After Vader got up, he asked Palpatine where was Padme? Palpatine said Vader killed her and he screamed NOOOOOO! What I saw of Padme matches the memories I have of her. I now know it was because you became Darth Vader. "Leia explained. "Padme will die if I don't learn how to keep her from dying. I lost my mother, and I am not losing her. "Anakin sobbed. "Anakin calm down. Palpatine is trying to cause you to be consumed with fear. The same thing happened to Luke on Dagobah. "Leia explained. "What was Luke doing on Dagobah? "Anakin asked. "He was training with Master Yoda when he had visions of Han and I in trouble on cloud city. He rushed off to help us and fell into a trap set by Darth Vader. They fought and Vader cut Luke's right hand off. He told Luke he was his father. Luke escaped. Lando helped me and the droid's escape. We rescued Han from Jabba where I was his slave girl for a while. His and your visions came from the same person. Palpatine. He doesn't care about Padme. He may have been behind the assignation attempts on her life before the Clone Wars. Do you really think a person trying kill her would really want to save her? He is trying to sever your attachment to her. You have to sever your attachment to him or you will lose Padme. "Leia explained. "The Jedi must not know about this. "Anakin warned. "Oh they will know about the visions from me. "Leia replied. "They will expel me. "Anakin groaned. "They will not. I have a plan. Padme you need to leave here immediately and head for Naboo. "Leia explained. "Why?" Padme asked. "To get as far away from Palpatine as possible. If we fail and Anakin falls you may need to head to the outer rim. "Leia warned. "Anakin we will go see the Jedi Council. "Leia said. "I have to see Palpatine this morning before the council. "Anakin replied. "Maybe you shouldn't see him. "Leia answered. "He is expecting me. I have to go. "Anakin said. "Then I will come with you. "Leia said. Anakin went to get dressed.
"Nice nightgown I would swear it was a formal dress. "Leia said. "Thanks. Its Anakin's favorite outfit of mine. I can get you one. "Padme replied. "I won't need it until I get back to my own time. If Anakin falls, make sure to have Threepio's memory wiped. You know he can't keep a secret. "Leia warned. "I was already thinking about that. "Padme replied. "Hurry start packing and head to Naboo. The sooner the better. "Leia said. Padme went to pack and Leia went to get dressed.
