Previously on Naruto….
"Secret Jutsu: Crystal Ice Mirrors!"

"S-Sasuke!" she gasped catching him before he hit the ground. His eyes were closed and he was barely breathing; it was a horrible sight. Naruto lost complete control as a powerful red chakra emerged from deep inside of him, destroying the crystal ice cage that trapped them.
….
"My name is Sasuke Uchiha." he mumbled, still blushing.
Peri blinked before laughing. "I'm Peri Senju. Nice to meet you, Sasuke."
…
"So it's over huh?"
"Yeah, it's all over."
"This sucks. Why did Gramps give such a lame mission?" Naruto sulked.
"Look, a mission is a mission, just deal with it." Peri sighed, placing another book on the shelf. Naruto grumbled something under his breath but it was unheard.
Ever since their mission in the Land of Waves they have been given plenty of D-rank missions much to their displeasure. The team was at the library organizing the books since some of the workers couldn't make it today. "Look, all I'm just saying is that a high ranking ninja like us shouldn't have to do something lame like this!"
"Hey! No yelling in the library, young man!" the librarian snapped
"I'm not yelling, miss!" Naruto defended.
Neuro wasn't really yelling. He just had a really loud voice
"Yes you are now shhh!" the librarian hushed hitting his hand with a fly swapper
"OW!"
(Idiot.) Sasuke, Peri, and Kakashi sweatdropped
Sasuke and Peri went to help the injured blonde up as he designed him out of the library while Kakashi read his book. Kakashi left to report back to the hokage while the rest went out to get something to eat at a barbecue restaurant. When they got there they ran into Kiba, Sakura, Choji, Shikamaru, and Hinata.
"Sasuke! It's so great to see you again, I missed you so much. Did you miss me?" Sakura asked.
"Not even close. Get off me." Sasuke growled, pushing the girl away from him. Sakura gasps quietly cowering slightly from Sasuke's glare.
"Don't worry about Sasuke, I missed you Sakura!" Naruto blushed trying to get a hug, but Sakura pushed him away.
"S-So how was your mission?" Hinata asked softly.
"I heard you saved the Land of Waves and they built a bridge named after you! You're soooo amazing Sasuke!" Sakura gushed with big pink hearts in her eyes.
Peri rolled her eyes at the fangirl taking a bite of her dango.
Peri jumped slightly, feeling a shoulder brushed against her. Turning in that direction to see Sasuke next to her. "What are you doing?" she asked
"Hn."
"Seriously stop grunting at me!"
"Hn."
"Will ya stop grunting!" the Senju sighed
"Don't yell at Sasuke!" Sakura snapped at her.
Peering over Uchiha's shoulder, the pink-haired girl was trying to cuddle with the boy and Sasuke was trying to get away from her.
Knowing his silent plea for help decided to switch spots with him. Sakura just looked infuriated while Naruto's face was bright red moving closer to the Haruno girl. The girl smacked the blonde haired boy yelling at him.
Sasuke gave her a relief look. (Thanks.)
Peri let out an irritated sigh feeling headache coming. (You owe me big time Duckbutt)
Hopefully, the rest of the day will get better.
…
"Let's see..onions, milk, paper towels. All I need is some art supplies, it's a good thing the general store have some." Peri read the list out loud.
"Peri?" a voice asked.
Coming her way was Sasuke pushing a grocery cart to he asked, grabbing a bag of tomatoes.
"Hey, Sasuke what's up?" she said.
"Just picking up some stuff sine they're having a discount. What about you?"
"Picking up some more paint. I finished an illustration for the academy and I'm working on a painting."
Sasuke nodded as the two walked together getting any other stuff they needed. "You like illustrations right? Why don't you sell them at the village's art center, that way you can make more money." Sasuke asked
"I would like to, but that's just too nerve wracking." the Senju said sheepishly.
Sasuke wasn't the only one who told her that. Before she became a ninja to help pay the bills Peri would make paintings and illustrations for the academy from time to time. Iruka would tell her the same thing, but she was just too nervous to actually do it.
Going around the store they got their groceries Sasuke noticed a group of fangirls eyeing the brunette evilly. Why did they have to go everywhere he went? Then he saw Nebki on her shoulder greedily eyeing the sausage hanging from the shelf.
"Maybe I'll buy some food for Naruto." Peri spoke up.
"Why that loser?" Sasuke barked and felt a flash of annoyance in his chest. And he had no idea why.
The Senju huffed with hands on her hips. "I'm getting Naruto food because he only eats ramen. I mean, like ramen too, but that's the only thing he eats and it's not healthy." Peri sigh
"He can buy his own food if he really wants to." Sasuke said, watching Nebki reach up and ate the sausage. How Peri didn't notice he'll never know.
"I know, I'm trying to be friendly." Peri smiles cheekily making her way to the counter. A small smile made its way to his face, as he followed her to the cashier.
She hasn't changed a bit.
They made it to the cash register where a red-haired girl was their cashier and a former classmate of theirs.
"Stay away from Sasuke!" the cashier snapped.
"I'm too tired for all of this." the light brown-haired Senju groaned.
"Me too, Those fangirls are worthless. " he muttered, taking the bags and walking her out. A soft blush crept over the Senju's cheeks whispering a quiet thanks as they walked out of the store.
Perhaps the day wasn't that back after all.
