"This is very impressive," Hermione remarked as she arrived in Hogsmeade along with her son, Scorpius, and her husband, Draco Malfoy.

Hermione and Draco had gotten together at the party Draco had thrown at Malfoy Manor to celebrate their graduation. While he'd been showing her the house, including the large library which Hermione had instantly fallen in love with, they'd ended up sharing a kiss and by the end of the night, Hermione had agreed to go on a proper date with the blond Slytherin. All it took was one date for them to realise they could potentially have something special, and so it had proved as ten years later they were still together and still very happy.

"It is," Draco agreed as the Potters – Harry and Daphne – arrived right behind them and echoed Hermione's first impression of Hogsmeade, which had gone all out for the reunion.

"Where to start," Daphne mused.

"I don't suppose there's any rush," Harry said, slipping his arm through Daphne's. "We've got all day."

"And plenty of people to catch up with," Hermione said, waving to Padma Patil who was standing at a drink stall across the road.

"I still say the only people we'll really talk to are the people still in our lives," Draco remarked as he took hold of Scorpius's hand so that the four year old didn't get lost in the crowds.

"Maybe so, but it'll still be nice to catch up with other people," Hermione countered.

"By other people do you mean Weasley?" Draco asked with a frown. "I thought you said the twins hadn't heard anything from him. Surely if he was going to put in an appearance he would have reared his ugly head before now."

"There are other people besides Ron, I would like to talk to," Hermione said, giving her husband a stern glare as she pointedly turned and walked over to where Padma was still standing across the road.

"That's me told," Draco muttered, rolling his eyes as Harry and Daphne chuckled at him.

"Come on Draco, stop being such a spoil sport, there was more to Hogwarts than just us Slytherins," Daphne chuckled. "There's a whole host of other people for us to catch up with."

"But I barely know any of these other people," Draco protested. "The height of my socialising outside of Slytherin occurred in seventh year, and it was pretty much just Harry and Hermione."

"But you've branched out since then," Harry pointed out. "You know Neville and Luna."

"Sure, we have dinner with the Longbottoms at least once a month," Draco conceded. "But again, we'll talk to them because we know them, and they're still part of our lives."

"I have a feeling Hermione is going to make it a point to talk to everyone just to prove you wrong," Harry chuckled, watching as his best friend collared Terry Boot, who had been walking past, and made a big show of greeting him warmly and asking him about his life.

"I just bet she is," Draco muttered with a small shake of his head, however he couldn't help but smile at how friendly and outgoing his wife was.

Over the course of the morning, Hermione stopped to talk to all of their old classmates that they passed, and even Draco found himself enjoying conversing with people he hadn't had a lot to do with during his time at Hogwarts. And of course they saw plenty of people they still kept in touch with, including Pansy who urged them all to visit her newest shop, which they did and found that as with all her other shops, it boasted an array of beautiful unique jewellery pieces. After Harry had purchased a necklace for Daphne and Draco had bought a bracelet for Hermione and a brooch for his mother, the couples headed off to visit the newest branch of Weasleys Wizard Wheezes, where Scorpius ended up being spoilt not just by Draco, but by his doting godfather, Harry.

"This kid of ours is going to end up so spoiled," Hermione muttered to Draco as they left Weasleys Wizard Wheezes with a big bag of goodies for Scorpius.

"That's what children are for," Draco replied with an unconcerned shrug. "Besides, it never did me any harm."

"Seriously?" Daphne laughed. "You were a right brat as a kid."

"He wasn't exactly much better during our early years of Hogwarts," Harry added.

"But I turned out alright in the end," Draco muttered with a pout.

"That you did," Hermione assured her husband.

"One thing I know is that our child is not going to be spoiled," Daphne said, her hands automatically falling to her blossoming baby bump.

"You say that now but just wait until the baby is born," Hermione laughed. "You'll not be able to help yourself. Not to mention Harry. Do you think he's going to be able to control himself?"

Turning to look at Harry, who was grinning like an idiot, Daphne had to agree that Hermione was right. Her husband had been over the moon from the moment she'd told him she was pregnant, and more than likely he was going to spoil their first child rotten from the moment they were born.

"It looks like the baby's fate is sealed," Draco remarked. "The little Potter heir will be unbelievably spoiled."

"You said it," Harry laughed.

"Right now, it's not the baby that's going to be spoiled, but me," Daphne said. "I've got a craving for some sugar mice from Honeydukes."

"But it's nearly lunchtime," Harry pointed out. "I was going to suggest we head over to The Three Broomsticks to grab a seat before it gets too crowded."

"Why don't you go and do that, and I'll go and get my mice," Daphne suggested.

"Or Draco and Hermione could go and get the seats, and I could come with you," Harry countered.

"Harry, I'm pregnant not stupid, I can visit a sweetshop by myself," Daphne said, rolling her eyes at her husband.

"I know, but it's just really packed in the village today, and I don't want anything to happen to you," Harry countered.

"Nothing is going to happen to me, or the baby," Daphne assured her concerned husband.

"Why don't Scorp and I go with Daphne," Draco suggested. "Scorpius wanted to look in the quidditch shop, and it's just beside Honeydukes. We can visit there while Daph gets her sweets. Plus it means we don't have to drag Hermione there later."

"That gets my vote," Hermione said quickly, more than happy to avoid a trip to the quidditch shop.

"Sounds good to me," Daphne agreed with a nod. "You and Hermione go and grab us a table, and order my favourite for lunch," she said to her husband, giving him a quick peck.

Satisfied that Draco would at least be close by if Daphne needed him, Harry was more than happy to head to The Three Broomsticks with Hermione. As he'd predicted the place was already fairly busy, but luckily they managed to grab a table beside one of the windows. While Hermione made sure they didn't lose the table, Harry headed to the bar to get the drinks and place the food order. As he was returning to the table he spotted Neville and Luna entering the pub with their twins and he invited them to join them as their table was large enough to accommodate a few more people.

"Wow, look at those cool scarves," Hermione said to the girls as Luna eased herself into a chair beside her. "I see you're both Hufflepuffs."

"Yellow is my best colour," Emerald replied seriously.

"It's happy," Sapphire added with a grin. "I like happy colours."

"So do I," Hermione replied. "And I think the pair of you look great with your scarves."

"Even though it's far too hot for them," Luna muttered under her breath. "They've both been complaining for the last half hour that they're hot, but they refuse to take them off."

"The joys of kids," Harry laughed.

"You'll know all about it soon enough," Luna replied. "Speaking of which, where's Daphne? And where is little Scorpius?"

"Daphne went for sweets, and Draco has taken Scorpius to visit the quidditch shop," Harry answered. "They'll be here in a minute or two."

"Who'll be here?" Neville asked as he arrived at the table with the drinks for his family. "Are you talking about Ron and Ginny?"

"Why would we be talking about Ron and Ginny?" Harry questioned with a frown.

"So you haven't seen them?" Luna asked.

"No," Hermione replied with a shake of her head. "We weren't even sure Ron would be here."

"Not only is he here, but Ginny is with him," Neville said. "And a little boy."

"That'll be Ginny's son," Harry said.

"That's what we thought, but Ron said the boy was his," Neville informed his friends.

"Yeah, he said his girlfriend was visiting her sick mother but insisted that he still came to the reunion," Luna added.

"And Ginny said she was just here to visit the village again and give Ron some support and help with his son," Neville said.

"I would have sworn Ron didn't have a son," Hermione muttered as she and Harry exchanged baffled looks. "We were only talking to George yesterday, and he didn't mention a son."

"Nope, he just mentioned Ginny's son, Milo," Harry agreed.

"Milo," Luna said with a nod. "That's what Ron said the boy was called."

"Are you saying that Ron is claiming father-ship of Ginny's baby?" Harry asked in bewilderment.

"Eew," Daphne's voice cried from behind her husband.

"What on earth have we walked in on?" Draco asked as he let go of Scorpius' hand, allowing his son to wiggle himself in-between the Longbottom twins, who instantly began making a fuss of their younger friend. "I know Weasley was bonkers enough to take his sister to a party instead of his girlfriend back in school, but surely he isn't that sick."

"No-one is saying he's Milo's father," Harry said with a snort. "But that seems to be what he's going around telling people."

"And people know Ginny is his mother?" Daphne asked as she and Draco squeezed into the two remaining seats at the table.

"No, he's telling people he has a girlfriend who is visiting her sick mother," Neville said.

"He just seems to be claiming Ginny's son as his," Harry said with a shake of his head.

"So what, his own life is so pathetic he's pretending to be a father to his nephew?" Daphne questioned. "That's just crazy."

"Did you call him out on his lies?" Draco asked Neville.

"I wasn't entirely sure if he was lying," Neville admitted. "I was pretty sure it was Ginny who had the son, not him, but I wasn't sure and I didn't want to accuse him of lying if he wasn't."

"Well if he is lying, it'll all come out sooner or later," Hermione predicted. "You can't go around telling huge lies like that and not have it backfire in your face."

"Well, if I see him and I hear him claiming the kid as his, I'll not be able to keep quiet," Draco remarked. "I'll let everyone know that the boy he's claiming to be his son is really his nephew."

"Who knows if we'll even see them," Harry said with a shrug. "I haven't seen any sign of them so far today."

"Knowing those two, they'll turn up," Draco snorted. "Bad pennies always turn up."

"We can deal with that if it happens," Daphne said decisively. "I don't know about anyone else, but I don't want them to ruin my day. I'm having a great time."

"Me too," Luna agreed. "I think it's a lovely way to spend the day, and the girls are enjoying themselves."

"So is Scorpius," Harry laughed as attention turned to the three children who were happily chattering to each other, Scorpius quite content in the middle of the twins. "Look at him, he's in his element with two girls hanging on his every word."

"He is a Malfoy," Draco said with a proud grin.

"I blame Blaise," Hermione said. "Scorpius idolises him, and we all know Blaise isn't opposed to having two women on his arm at one time."

"Speaking of Blaise, is he here today?" Harry asked. "I haven't seen him today."

"He was in Honeydukes, chatting up the new shop girl," Daphne said. "I told him where we would be, so he's bound to turn up sooner or later."

"Is Uncle Blaise coming?" Scorpius asked eagerly, his ears picking up at the mention of his idol.

"Maybe if you're good," Draco answered. "Look, here comes the food. Eat all your vegetable and you can see Uncle Blaise. I might even let him take you over to the swings."

"I can eat my vegetables," Scorpius said with a determined nod as the waitress placed a child's portion of chicken dinner in front of him.

"Vegetables are yummy," Emerald said, reaching out and snagging a slice of carrot from Scorpius's plate.

"Emmie, leave Scorpius's lunch alone, yours will be here shortly," Neville said to his daughter.

Luckily the Longbottoms food arrived seconds after the Potters and Malfoys, so everyone was able to eat together. However, what none of them realised was that while they were enjoying their lunch, trouble was heading their way and before they left The Three Broomsticks there were going to be fireworks courtesy of a couple of redheads.
