I've updated Chapter 6 to give Serena one new Moemon. I suggest you go back to read it before reading this chapter to avoid confusion. It's not too far; just around the start.

Disclaimer: I do not own Pokemon or the concept of Moemon.

I stare at the Moemon Egg that I happened to find in my bag the next day.

Which is actually Togepi's Egg.

I did feel like I was forgetting something important as I left Grampa Canyon, but I failed to realize just how important it was.

"How did this Egg get in your bag?" Serena asked the big question.

I took notice of a small note taped onto the top of the incubator and read it.

"Mother Arceus asked me to make sure this one gets to you in case you forgot. - Celebi" was what it read.

"Apparently, a Celebi had a hand in this."

"Of course a Mythical Moemon is involved." Diantha sighed, shaking her head.

Before any other reply could be made, the Egg started to glow. I quickly and carefully took the Egg out of the incubator and held it, and Togepi hatched in my arms. She wears a white shirt and white shorts, with red and blue triangles all over them, and had blonde hair spiked up in a crown. She gave a cute yawn as she woke up and looked at me with her cute black eyes.

"Hello, little one." I say softly. "My name is Ash."

"A...Ash." She cutely repeats my name. My God, she is precious, and the girls share my sentiments, based on their squeals.

I give her a gentle smile. "I'll call you Chica."

That day was then spent with us all introducing Chica to our Moemon and welcoming her into the family. As the little Togepi got acquainted with everyone, I checked her data on the Moedex.

Togepi: The Spike Ball Moemon

Type: Fairy

Togepi is considered to be a symbol of good luck. She uses the feelings of compassion and pleasure exuded by people and Moemon as her energy.

Name: Chica

Ability: Serena Grace

Height: 4'

Weight: 86lbs

Cup Size: AA

Moves: Growl, Pound, Extrasensory

Serena Grace doubles the chance of additional effects happening, and thankfully, she already has a move to take advantage of that in Extrasensory, so she's not defenseless, at least.

Still, I worry about the day when she inevitably learns Metronome.

"You sure about this, Sarah?" I ask my Bulbasaur, paying attention to the glowing bulb on her neck, the telltale sign that she was ready to evolve. In the anime, Ash's Bulbasaur absolutely refused to evolve, and I thought Sarah would share those sentiments. So, you can imagine my surprise when she told me that she wanted to evolve.

"Yes." She nodded firmly. "You were willing to take in both me and Cara and treated us with a love that our old Trainer failed to give us. You even helped clear away Cara's lingering worries of abandonment. The least I could do is become strong enough to return the favor, and help you achieve your destiny."

Huh. So, it's because I further proved myself that she's willing to evolve? Actions really do effect future decision.

The girls were all sleeping that night. I was the only one awake, waiting for Sarah to return. I felt a stronger version of her Aura come this way. "Hope I didn't keep you waiting too long." I hear her say from behind me. With a smile, I turn to look at her. As an Ivysaur, she now wears a blue dress, and her hair now went down to her shoulders under her now pink hat, which was in the shape of a flower bud with leaves framing her hair. The only similarity to her old form was her red eyes, and they were all I needed to recognize her.

"Looking great, Sarah." I compliment her.

"Thanks." She smiled. "Though, my evolution was more interesting than the other Ivysaur. You'll know once you check my data."

Intrigued by this, I take out my Moedex and brought up her info.

Ivysaur: The Seed Moemon

Type: Grass/Poison

The bulb on her hat grows by drawing energy from the sunlight. The bulb hat gives off an aroma when it is ready to bloom.

Name: Sarah

Ability: Chlorophyll

Height: 5'03"

Weight: 102.1lbs

Cup Size: C

Moves: Seed Flare, Razor Leaf, Energy Ball, Vine Whip, Giga Drain, Solar Beam, Sludge Bomb, Tackle, Take Down, Weather Ball, Leech Seed, Poison Powder, Sleep Powder, Sweet Scent, Sunny Day, Growth, Synthesis

I blink, taking note of one particuar move. "Seed Flare?" Isn't that Shaymin's signature move?

"Yep. Turns out I was blessed by a Shaymin when I evolved." She explained. Huh, so she's officially stronger than other Ivysaur. She's gonna be a whole different beast when she fully evolves.

There was one day I dreaded the moment I remembered it. Princess Day, a woman's dream come true and man's nightmare.

Discounts on everything a woman could want, the females were free to go on a shopping spree, and the males that were with them were doomed to carry all the bags of goodies they buy.

For anyone who was the only male in a travel group containing three or more women. This was hell.

Thankfully, Sabrina, Serena and Diantha didn't buy too much. In fact, they only bought what was absolutely necessary for each of them. My aura abilities also allowed me to carry all the bags quite effortlessly, so this wasn't as bad as I originally thought.

Then the announcement came for the tournament.

"I see no real need to participate." Sabrina said, deciding not to participate.

"I don't think I'll enter either." Diantha said after a bit of thought. "Perhaps you should, Serena? You could definitely use the experience."

She's got a point. Serena is a pretty powerful psychic, but as a Trainer, she's honestly the weakest in the group. Sabrina's a Gym Leader, Diantha's a future Grand Champion and I'm the Trainer of a bunch of Legendary Moemon.

"Sure." Serena said after a little thought. "I'll give it a go, but I'll try not to use Mimi as she's easily my strongest Moemon." That's understandable.

There's not really much else to say as the day pretty much plays out as it did in the anime, except with Serena instead of Misty. Serena wins the tournament, gets the Moemon Princess doll set, and then we're off.

I watch as my Moemon train with each other to prepare for the next gym. However, I was admittedly less focused on them and more on what I experienced last night.

A dream...no, a nightmare. One where an adult Mew and two baby Mew were suddenly attacked by Team Rocket. The adult Mew was greatly injured, and the baby Mew were taken away, with the dream abruptly ending right when the Rocket's Moemon fired a Dark Pulse.

That adult Mew... Was that Cherry? If so, were those two baby Mew her daughters? I really need to ask Cherry about this. And fortunately, I didn't have to wait long as I felt Cherry's long tail lightly push my head backwards. Not enough to make me fall over, but enough to gain my attention.

Looking at my Starter Moemon, I see her looking at me with a serious expression. "You were thinking about the dream from last night, weren't you?" She asks.

"Yes, I was." I answer.

Cherry sighs, and I could tell that this was a sensitive subject. "Okay, I'll explain."

When she finished explaining everything, I resolved to making sure Team Rocket is destroyed. Also, based on past knowledge, I have a good idea about what happened to her daughters.

Focusing back on the others, I see that Bianca actually evolved into Wartortle. Too bad I missed the moment, but I congratulate her, nonetheless.

Wartortle: The Turtle Moemon

Type: Water

Said to live for 10,000 years, their long, furry tails are a symbol of longevity, making them popular amongst elders.

Name: Bianca

Height: 5'02" (Average)

Weight: 100.9lbs (Average)

Cup Size: C (Average)

Moves: Water Gun, Aqua Tail, Headbutt, Bite, Aura Sphere, Withdraw, Iron Defense, Shell Smash, Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Dragon Pulse, Aqua Jet, Whirlpool

We met Todd Snap afterwards, who was very excited to see our collection of Moemon - more specifically, mine. He did receive a scolding from Cherry about his method of taking pictures, as it basically equates to him being a peeping tom, but he just laughs it off as he apparently enjoys the thrill that comes with the risk of being maimed by who are basically superpowered woman.

A brave soul, this Todd Snap.

Diantha and I both skipped the whole test thing before it even came up. Why waste your time on school stuff when you can learn much more by going out and seeing the world?

We then arrive at Cinnabar Island, where I'll win my seventh badge, and for Diantha, her final. There's also something I'm interested in that might be in Cinnabar, but that depends on if the place is still there.

...Well, I'll focus on the badge first.

"Unfortunately, due to the overwhelming amount of tourist visits, the Gym Leader decided to close his gym." Blaine said in his hippie disguise.

I was gonna call bullshit, but Sabrina did it for me. "Cut the bullshit, Blaine. You still take challengers, but you keep scaring them off locking yourself behind riddles."

"Can't you let me have my fun, Sabrina?" He grumbled. "Alright, who's challenging me?"

"Ash and Diantha." Sabrina told me. "Also, Ash has something to ask you."

Blaine looks at me. "Really? What would you want to ask me other than a gym battle?"

"I want to be allowed access into the abandoned mansion." I asked him.

The old quizmaster gave me a serious look. "That isn't someplace I can allow just anyone to enter kid." He said. "If you want me to give you the key in, you'll need to prove yourself in the gym battle."

I expected this. "Fine by me."

But it was decided first that we would enjoy the hot springs before challenging the gym, so we headed to Riddles Inn. For some reason, they only had mixed baths, so I opted to wait until the girls finished bathing, but they decided that I should bathe with them. So, here I am in the hot spring with my three human companions and starter. We were all wearing bathing towels as to cover our private parts. Cherry also cancelled her transformation since it's just us.

"Hey, Ash." Serena called for me. "Why do you want to go into the mansion?"

I look over to Cherry, who gives me a nod to say that it's okay to tell them. "This is actually more for Cherry's sake than mine." I tell the girls. "So, it's better to ask her."

The girls look to the Mew, who took a breath before answering. "I want to know what happened to my daughters."

As I expected, the girls looked shocked to hear this. "Your...daughters!?" Serena repeated.

"I didn't think it was possible for Legendary and Mythical Moemon to have children." Sabrina admitted. "How does it work? Is it different from other Moemon?" Admitttedly, I'm also curious about that. From what I know on Moemon pregnancies, it's more of a cycle. How does it work for Legendary and Mythical Moemon, who are said to be unique.

"Legendary and Mythical Moemon have more controlled pregnancies." Cherry explained. "We decide when we actually want to have offspring, and to ensure this, we keep our wombs infertile to prevent unwanted pregnancies."

"I see." Diantha said, absorbing the information.

"However, we Mew are more special in that we don't lay eggs." Cherry soon started explaining Mew pregnancies, catching all of our attention. "For a Mew to have offspring, things have to be very specific: our health, our mindset, time of year..." She moves a hand to rub her stomach. "When all those conditions are met, our children form in our wombs, and we carry them until their birth."

"Huh. That's like humans." Serena commented.

"Yes, it is." Cherry confirmed, and then the end of her tail suddenly stood up. "Oh, and most importantly, for any of this to happen, a very special flower must be blooming and release its pollen. She added. "It's a very rare flower that only blooms once every few centuries."

So, that flower is the trigger, huh? "That means if Mew do give birth, it's only every few hundred years." I say the second part aloud.

"That's correct." Cherry nods.

"Wow. You would have to be extremely lucky to witness a Mew giving birth." Diantha giggled. Looking over to Cherry, I see her looking down with a frown. Diantha also noticed this, and her smile dropped. "What's wrong?"

"Someone did watch me give birth. I'm sure of it." Cherry said, gritting her teeth. "Because only a few days after I had my daughters..."

"Team Rocket attacked you and took them both." I finish, hearing the girls' horrified gasps.

Cherry was visibly shaking, her mind probably replaying that horrible memory. "It was all so sudden that I couldn't react in time to save them. Their Dark-type Moemon left me very injured, and I could only watch in despair as my daughters were taken away. They were actually planning on killing me, but I barely managed to Teleport away."

"And then I found you in the forest near Oak's Lab."

Cherry looks at me with apology. "I'm sorry, Ash. I am grateful that you helped me, but I didn't want to tell you the full story, because at the time, you were far too young."

"It's fine. I understand." I wave it off. I could understand why. A child only six years old going against a large criminal organization was like asking to die early. "Let's just focus on winning against Blaine." Cherry nodded seriously, knowing the upcoming battle means a lot to her.

Diantha and I challenged Blaine the next day. Just like back with Erika, Diantha went first, and she won her final Kanto Badge using her two Fossil Moemon, Nu and Miku, who took on a Mega Charizard Y. Now, it was my turn.

"I hope you know what you're doing, kid." Blaine says seriously, as if warning me.

"I do." I say firmly. "And I'm ready to prove it."

"Then show me a heated battle! Vixen!" He sends out his first Moemon, and the sun shined brighter the moment she emerged. The Moemon wore a tan-yellow dress, with nine yellow fox tails and yellow hair down her back, and mischievous red eyes.

"A Ninetales with Drought." I identify as I decide who to use first.

...Well, I'll just get serious from the start.

"Crystal!" I send out Crystal.

"You have a Suicune!?" Blaine shouts with shock.

"Yep." I say. "You ready, Crystal?"

"Of course." Crystal nods.

"I never expected to fight the Legendary Beast of Water." Vixen admits, looking serious. "I can't afford to hold back. Solar Beam!" She fires a beam of sunlight.

"Extreme Speed!" I command. With blinding speed, Crystal dodges the powerful Grass move, moving behind her opponent and kicking her to the side. "Now Rain Dance!" With a howl, Crystal summons rain clouds that block the sun, and it starts to rain.

"Vixen, Energy Ball!" Blaine commands.

"Freeze it with Ice Beam, then use Hydro Pump!" I command in return. Crystal freezes the Energy Ball with Ice Beam, and then uses Hydro Pump to shoot the frozen attack back at Vixen. Getting hit by both attacks, the Ninetales was easily knocked out.

"Impressive." Blaine compliments us as he returns Vixen. "But we've just begun! Turn up the heat, Mara!" He sends out his next Moemon, which I could easily recognize as his Magmar. She wore a red shirt with long red sleeves and yellow pants, with red hair down to her neck tied into two ponytails with yellow tips and red eyes.

"Come back, Crystal." I return Crystal. "Bianca!" I send out Bianca next.

"Thunderbolt!" Blaine commands.

"Iron Defense combined with Rapid Spin!" I quickly command. Bianca solidifies herself with Iron Defense and spins around, looking like a beyblade as she deflected the electricity. "Keep spinning and use Whirlpool!" Continuing to spin, she glows blue and a whirlpool of water swirls around her in a tornado as she charges at Mara. The Magmar tried to dodge, but Bianca turned in a way that allowed her combo attack to still hit and send her flying into the air.

The rain stopped as Mara crashed onto the ground. She quickly gets up and fires charges forward to use Thunder Punch. "Iron Defense! You can tank it!" I command with encouragement. Bianca solidifies herself once again and takes the super effective physical attack like a champ. "Now, Hydro Pump!" She fires a point-blank Hydro Pump at Mara, knocking her unconscious.

"You played that well." Blaine compliments again as he returns Mara. "Those tricks with Rapid Spin were quite clever. Now, face the flames of Kerbera!" He sends out his final Moemon. She wore an orange and black form-fitting leotard with silver claws reaching up to her breasts, with long silky black hair and red eyes. She had black gloves with claws on the ends, and large silver horns on the sides of her head.

"A Houndoom..." I hear Cherry say next to me. Looking at the disguised Moemon, her eyes were wide, as if seeing her triggered something in her mind.

...Actually, thinking back to the dream, the Rocket leading the kidnapping looked like Archer, and he uses a Houndoom.

"Cherry." I call to her as she clenches her fist.

"Ash, let me take this one." She says.

"...Very well. Come back, Bianca." I return Bianca, allowing Cherry to enter the battle.

"So, I'm battling a little mousey?" Kerbera asked with a toothy smirk.

"Not a mouse." Cherry said, deciding to reveal her true self.

Looking forward, I could see Blaine's jaw dropping, his eyes wide as he stared at Cherry. "That's... the Mythical Mew!"

"That's right." I nod. "She's my Starter."

"Well, this is better than I thought." Kerbera comments. "Although, you probably should've stayed as a Pikachu. You put yourself at a type disadvantage, becoming a Psychic-type."

Cherry narrows her eyes. "My last loss against a Dark Moemon was because I was caught off guard." She says calmly. "That won't happen again."

"We'll see." Kerbera charges up dark energy, preparing a Dark Pulse.

"Cherry, Moonblast!" I command. Cherry charged up moon energy into a pink sphere and fired it at the Dark Pulse, causing an explosion.

"Kerbera!" Blaine calls, tossing a necklace that I knew was a Houndoominite, especially as he reveals the Key Stone on his tie. "Mega Evolve!"

As the light of Mega Evolution flashes, Kerbera becomes a Mega Houndoom. She wore a black and orange leotard with a skirt of bones, as well as black gloves with white spikes shooting out over the wrists. She had a forked devil tail sticking out of her butt, twitching excitedly. She wore a spiked bone plate over her chest, resembling a suit of armor, and her hair was longer and spiked. Over her head was a black helmet, with large white horns of bone jutting out, and she had glowing red eyes.

"Still fancy your chances?" Kerbera asks, her toothy smirk more intimidating.

"I'll show you." Cherry replies. "Aura Sphere!" She fires an azure sphere of Aura, but Kerbera stops it with Flamethrower.

"Sunny Day!" The Mega Houndoom calls, and the sun became harsh once again. "Now, Dark Pulse!" With Solar Power now active, the incoming Dark Pulse was much stronger, forcing cherry to dodge with Shadow Force. Solar Power does make special moves stronger in sunlight, but it also drains health for each move used.

"Earth Power!" I command. Cherry punches the ground and causes and eruption of earth energy under Kerbera, knocking her into the air. "Now Brick Break!" Teleporting above the Mega Houndoom, the Mew then hit her with a powerful chop to send her crashing back to the ground.

"Oh, you're in for it now, kitty." Kerbera snarled, a powerful aura surging around her as I feel her power rising. She used Nasty Plot.

"Cherry, use Psych Up!" I quickly command to copy the Special Attack boost. She does so, then quickly avoids a much stronger Dark Pulse. That move is a point where if it hits Cherry, she's done for. Time to change that. "Topsy-Turvy!" Cherry spins around in mid-air a few times before stopping upside-down, reversing the stat change.

"Shit!" Kerbera curses as she feels herself becoming much weaker, forcing her to use Nasty Plot again and leave herself open.

"Secret Sword!" With my final command, Cherry creates a sword of golden energy and slashes through Kerbera, knocking her unconscious as she reverts back.

"Well, my candle's burned to nothing." Blaine says as he returns Kerbera. "You've won, kid. Though if I may, how did you catch the rarest Moemon herself?"

"Cherry and I met nine years ago, when I found her injured int the forest." I answer.

Blaine seemed to tense up at this. "When was the date of this meeting?"

I raise an eyebrow at that question but answer regardless. "February 9th."

I see Blaine's eyes widen for a good moment, before he sighs. "I see." He hands me two item, the Volcano Badge and a key. "Here's your Volcano Badge, as well as the key to the Mansion."

"Thank you, Blaine." I thank him and take the items. Blaine's reactions were suspicious, but I remember that in the games, he was one of the researchers who helped create Mewtwo. Is the same true in this world?

I look at the key I was given. Only one way to find out.

Using the key from Blaine, we were able to enter the abandoned mansion. Funny enough, this place was at least inhabited by wild Moemon in the games, but in this world, it's completely abandoned.

"Are you sure we'll be able to find clues on Cherry's daughters?" Diantha asked, looking around the dusty place.

"This is the best lead I've got." I tell her. "But I'm sure we'll find something correlating to their whereabouts. And with luck, it can also be evidence to put Team Rocket's leader behind bars."

"That would be most welcome." Sabrina's siding with me there.

And so, our search through the mansion begins. After checking the main floor and finding nothing of interest, we decided to check upstairs. That's when we started to find something of interest.

"Hey, guys?" Serena called from another room. "I found this book with a strange message."

"What does it say?" I ask as Serena walks to us with the book.

"'February 6th. Mew gave birth. We named each newborn, Mewtwo.'" Serena reads. That's the same message from the game, but with a slight change.

"February 6th..." Cherry gasps. "That's the date I had the twins!"

"And Cherry and I met on February 9th, the day after." I reveal, looking at my Starter and remembering the day I found Cherry. "I guess that proves someone was indeed watching you."

"But why did they call the babies 'Mewtwo'?" Diantha asks. "I could understand that it's extremely rare for a Legendary or Mythical to give birth to another of their kind, but if they did, wouldn't the children have the same species name as their mother?"

"That is a good question." Sabrina admits.

"Well, we haven't fully checked the place yet." I point out. "We may find something that will help shed light on this message."

We decide to go down to the basement to see if we could find anything. However, the entrance to the basement was blocked off. "There's definitely something behind here." I speak. I look to see a scanner and take out my Moedex. "Laby, can you hack this door open?" I ask my Porygon2, who comes out the Moedex.

"Shouldn't be too difficult." Laby says with confidence. Holding a hand in front of the scanner, she starts releasing electrical signals into it. After only a few seconds, the scanner flashes green, and the door opens.

We walk down into the basement, and what we saw looked like a destroyed lab. "What happened to this place?" Serena asks, looking around at the destroyed equipment.

"Looks like some sort of experiment happened here." Diantha comments.

I look around the lab, and my eyes happened on a single computer that somehow wasn't destroyed. Walking up to it, I pressed the power button, and it turned on. "Looks like it's still functional." I say, before taking out my Moedex again. "Let's see if we find anything, Laby."

"Alright, Master." Laby says as she goes back into the Moedex. I take out a cord that I bought before coming to Cinnabar and plug my Moedex into the computer. And now, we wait and let Laby do her thing.

It takes a while for Laby to complete her search. In the meantime, we looked around the lab some more and found some papers detailing the Mewtwo Project. "The world's most powerful Moemon, huh?" I comment, though I already know about this, the girls with me don't.

"I really hope Laby finds something about my daughters." Cherry says, her voice filled with anxiety.

I was gonna speak to her, but before I could Laby announced her return. "I'm back!" She called.

We walk back to the computer. "Did you find anything relating to Cherry's daughters?" I ask. "Or perhaps this 'Mewtwo Project'?"

"I did find three pieces of information regarding that." She says slowly. On the computer, we see scans of a fossil along with a bunch of words that were in Unown dialect. "According to the data I've found, the scientists here were hired by Team Rocket to create a clone of Mew that would be superior to the original."

"So, Team Rocket is involved." Sabrina speaks up. "I take it this fossil was what they used to create Mewtwo."

"No, actually." Laby replies. "They did indeed to create a Mewtwo from this these fossilized remains..." The screen suddenly beeped, and the fossil was outlined red along with two words: 'INSUFFICIENT MATERIAL'. "But the fossil proved to be insufficient."

So, they wanted to create Mewtwo, but the fossil didn't cut it for them...

...

... Those bastards.

"So, the project ended up being a failure?" Diantha asks.

"No." I say in a deep, low voice.

I could feel all eyes turn to me. "What do you mean, Ash?" Serena asks, beginning to sound worried. "Wh-Why do you have that dark look on your face?"

I look on the screen and see that my face has formed into a dark glare, and the girls were looking at me with worry. But I push that aside to focus on the current situation. "Laby, what other information did you find." I ask, dead serious.

"W-Well, the other two pieces of information I found were a entry logs." Laby reveals, sounding nervous. "They're told in different perspective, but they seem to both be relevant."

"Open the first one."

"Very well, but the first one is actually a series of logs." A new screen appears, showing the first entry log.

"Entry Number 1:

I've been tasked to study this Mew closely. Learn her patterns, her habits. I'm so excited! To be able to observe such a rare Moemon is a priviledge!

My supervisor said that this will be a way to get a better understanding of not only the Mew species, but possibly their connection to other Moemon.

After all, they are said to hold the DNA of every other Moemon out there. Fresh out of an apprenticeship and study the elusive Mew? I must be dreaming!"

"It doesn't sound bad so far." Serena comments before the next entry is played.

"Entry Number 2:

If it weren't for the numerous trackers and cameras they planted, I'd never be able to get a glimpse of her. She's so fast! She also doesn't seem to have any home base. She just goes where she goes."

"I did have my own adventures before meeting Ash." Cherry confirms.

"Entry Number 3:

Wow, Mew sure do eat a lot."

"Is he calling me fat?" Cherry pouts.

"You do tend to eat the most out of all of us." Sabrina points out, to which Cherry pouts more. I couldn't help but chuckle at her childish behavior.

"Entry Number 4:

No sighting."

"Looks like you avoided them this time." I comment now.

"Entry Number 5:

No sighting."

"And this time." I add.

"Even with a bunch of preparation, you can't find a Mew that easily." Cherry says, showing some pride.

"Entry Number 6:

I was beginning to think she had moved on. I almost got fired for it even. But was I ever relieved to see that Mew again after a year and a half of nothing.

Supervisor says research isn't going well. Won't say what, that it's 'need to know', but I hope I can recover something special for them. After all, this is for the betterment of Moemon."

"A hint on the Mewtwo Project." Sabrina points out.

"Betterment of all Moemon... Yeah, right." I scoff under my breath.

"Entry Number 7:

Mew's habits were always so erratic, but recently that's started changing. Now she seems to keep returning to one area we triangulated. There's a lot of food and fresh water, so I guess she wants to settle down for something.

(Didn't think that was possible, honestly.)"

"That was when I started to become pregnant." Cherry says with a frown.

"And because of the pregnancy, they were able to map your location." I say as well.

"Entry number 8:

Something's not right with her. She's far less energetic now. She's stopping to rest in the mapped area for longer and longer. She's also eating more often. I guess that explains why it looks like her belly is getting wider(?)"

"Signs of pregnancy." Diantha pipes in.

"Entry number 9:

I almost didn't recognize her at first, but the Mew has suddenly changed into a more adult form. This came as a complete shock. I didn't Mew were capable of changing appearance beyond transforming into a different Moemon.

She looks...very beautiful right now. Like a young mother. Those wide hips, that supple bottom, and those breasts...

I need a moment to calm down my erection."

"Wait a moment. Pause." I quickly tell Laby to pause the logs, and we all look at Cherry with surprise. "You have an adult form?"

Cherry chuckles nervously, rubbing a hand on the back of her head. "Oh yeah, I forgot about that bit. Since we Mew give birth like normal humans, our childlike form isn't really suited for such occasions. So, we change into a more adult form seven months into our pregnancy." Her body glows white and grows larger and...

...

Holy shit. That researcher wasn't kidding.

Cherry right now looks like a bonafide MILF. She had grown to be 6'3", which was pretty much my height, and wide, child-birthing hips and plump DD-cup breasts. Her hair had also grown to fall down her back.

"What do you guys think?" Cherry asks in a more mature voice. The girls and I could only stare blushing at Cherry's current form. Oh, damn, now I'm getting an erection.

"Wow. You look amazing, Cherry." Serena gives her compleiment.

"You certainly have an enviable figure." Diantha adds.

"I would've never aniticipated this." Sabrina comments.

Cherry giggles as she faces me, then looks down at my crotch. "Well, you certainly love it, Ash." She gives a seductive smile. "Perhaps we could have sex with me in this form." Oh god, why do you put that image in my head now?

"Cherry, please, not right now." I say, earning a giggle from her.

"This is certainly a new experience." Laby says. "I hope you don't mind me sending this information to Professor Oak."

"I don't mind." Cherry gives her approval.

Taking time to calm myself down, I turn back to the computer. "You can continue, Laby." I say, and the logs resume. Considering the last one was about Cherry's appearance change, the next one must be her giving birth.

"Entry Number 10:

I.

Don't.

BELIEVE IT!

Science Jargon aside, (It's not like I've been that formal anyways) but now cares!? I didn't know this was possible! It's so rarely seen with Legendaries as it is but a Mythical like Mew giving birth? This changes so much of what we know about the species! We had to use a remote camera to get a glimpse, but Mew delivered twins at some point in the night. They weren't even eggs either."

"That was when I had my twins." Cherry says in an audible whisper.

"Entry Number 11:

I could watch these baby Mew all day. So glad this is my job. This is a once in a lifetime - heck maybe more experience, and I'm not wasting a moment of it. Not only that, but the higher-ups are really excited about this, too!

I can't wait to see them grow up."

"It sounds like he really wanted to watch you raise your daughters." Serena comments.

"I suppose." Cherry replies.

"Entry Number 12:

Boss is calling me into a meeting, so I didn't have much observation today. I'll have to make up for that tomorrow."

Then came the final entry.

"Entry Number 13:

...

I've been lied to."

Four simple words, yet it was enough for my mood to darken once again. Not only that, but the girls were feeling very nervous.

"So, Team Rocket hired that researcher to keep watch on me..." Cherry spoke up, "only for him to find out that they were using him this entire time."

"The researcher was innocent." I speak. "He honestly wanted to watch you grow into a family, but he was hired by a less-than innocent group."

"They were able to find Cherry and her daughters thanks to that researcher, and then took the infant Mew." Sabrina lists how the events happened.

I turn to the girls. "When you piece together what we've learned, it becomes obvious what happened to them." I say grimly. I give them a moment to think about it, and Cherry was the first to figure it out, as evident from her eyes widening with horror.

"N-No..." She says weakly. "It... It can't be... Tell me it isn't true."

The human girls look extremely worried and turn to me, but I say nothing as I turn back to the computer. "Laby. Play the final log." I tell her.

"...Very well." She replies in a tone that tells me she also realized the same thing. We all stare at the computer as the last log plays.

"Failure

Failure, failure failure. It's just like the previous tests. Even with a Mew fossil, its DNA is simply too unstable to create a viable clone. Not with so many gaps, not even when we fill them with other species.

I'm afraid the project is doomed to stay a pipe dream, no matter how many years we've invested in it."

"February 6th

Mew gave birth. We named each newborn, 'Mewtwo'.

None of us had stock in that intern, blabbering on about what Mew likes to eat.

But a discovery has been made.

I pride myself as a scientist, a respectable Moemon Researcher. But I suppose I surrendered my right to call myself respectable when I agreed to join this project.

The fossil wasn't enough, but the infants. Embryos would have been preferrable, but we didn't have a hope of catching it before it delivered.

An extraction team will be deployed within the next 24 hours.

We will do what we must. In the name of this scientific breakthrough, we will see this project to the end.

We will have our 'Mewtwo'.

I will not fail again."

As the log ends, I slowly turn to the girls, gauging their reactions. Serena and Diantha looked horrified, Sabrina was trying to keep herself calm so her psychic powers wouldn't rage out and send us all flying, and Cherry...had a broken look on her face. "You all see now?" I ask, knowing the answer was 'yes'.

"So then... Cherry's children... They weren't just stolen." Serena began to say.

I narrow my eyes. "The fossil was deemed a failure, but infant Mew have all the materials twisted humans could ever need."

"They were also used." Sabrina speaks through gritted teeth.

I nod and look over to Cherry, who was the most effected by the grim news. Tears begin to form in her eyes as she falls to her knees. "Why...? My babies... Not even a week old..." She sobbed. "How could this happen to them?"

I kneel down to Cherry and give her a comforting hug, letting her cry on my shoulder. "Because that's just how sick and twisted Team Rocket is." I say, not even trying to butter it up. "They would go so low as to subject infant Moemon into their gene-splicing experiments. It doesn't matter to them how many innocent lives are lost in their schemes, as long as they get their living weapon." I growl in anger at the thought. "They are far too dangerous to be left alone. They must be destroyed, before any more people or Moemon suffer because of them."

I could tell from the looks on their faces that the girls were in complete agreement.

Giovanni... I swear I will bring you to justice.

Have any of you read the Mew and Mewtwo comic series? That's basically where I'm going with this right now.

Now, the time gap doesn't make sense at first, but that's because I'm mixing game elements as well. At this point, Mewtwo has already escaped and is currently hiding in a certain cave.

So yeah, the next chapter will have some major action. Be prerpared for it.

By the way, I would highly recommend reading the Mew and Mewtwo comics. Or if you want, there's an audio version on Youtube you can watch and listen to.

Also, this chapter took way too long and I'm sorry for that.
