Riku decided to check on Naminé's progress with Sora's memories. He was still a little weary of her being incapable of feeling emotions. Still, he cared about Sora much more than the acquaintance responsible for putting his best friend into this comatose state in the first place.
"How close are you to being done, Nobody?" he snapped.
"Please don't talk to me like that," Naminé pleaded.
"It's not like you can feel hurt. Why do you care?" Riku huffed.
Naminé pondered how best to explain that, somehow, she was hurt by his harsh words. She seemingly could, strangely enough, feel hurt regardless of whether or not she had a heart. She chose to convey this by singing.
"You think I'm an ignorant savage
And you've been so many places
I guess it must be so
But still, I cannot see
If the savage one is me
How can there be so much that you don't know?
You don't know
You think you know everything about me
That Nobodies are dead things you can claim
But I know regardless of if we have Hearts
We have life,
We have spirit,
We have names
You think the only people who are people
Are the people who look and feel like you
But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger
You learn things you never knew you never knew
Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon?" Naminé gestured to a drawing of a moon.
"Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned?" She opened her notebook to a drawing of the Cheshire Cat.
"Can you sing with all the voices of the mountain?" The blond danced from one picture to another.
"Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?
Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?"
Naminé snuck outside without DiZ noticing, and Riku followed. She started running around the forest.
"Come run the hidden pine trails of the forest
Come taste the sun sweet berries of the earth
Come roll in all the riches all around you
And for once, never wonder what they're worth
"The Nobody and human are my brothers" An image of Sora and Roxas appeared in Namine's head.
"The Hero and the Princess are my friends," Riku looked away as she smiled up at him.
"And we are all connected to each other
In a circle,
In a hoop that never ends"
"How high does the sycamore grow?" Naminé asked, climbing up one of the trees in the forest.
"If you cut it down, then you'll never know" A pack of wolves could be heard howling in the distance as she sang.
"And you'll never hear the wolf cry to the blue corn moon.
For whether we have Hearts or are has-beens," the young Nobody told Riku, taking his hands.
"We need to sing with all the voices of the mountain
Need to paint with all the colors of the wind
You can bear the burden, still,
All you hold is that until
You can paint with all the colors of the wind"

speedster101: I'll try to do that, although normally I don't do songs unless they were sung by a character, but it's probably about time I get out of my comfort zone. Also, I haven't seen Zootopia yet and don't want to have spoilers so I'm going to hold off on any Zootopia songs until I see Zootopia.
Xandyflare: I know, but based on the situation it was easier to use Master Eraqus than Master Xehanort.
