Maggie, who was going on two, screamed at Tanya's feet clutching her mother's dress. Tanya was getting ready to head to the saloon where she still worked much Billy's dismay, Billy is Jacob's father and the chief of the Quileute tribe. Jacob didn't care, he even knew she was still messing around with other men. He didn't love her and she didn't love him.

He wanted Leah, it had started as sex but had turned into more. He loved her, it had shocked him at first, the understanding of what he felt. She had given him a son, one he couldn't claim because he was stuck with Tanya. He'd loved her before he knew she was with child, but it had excited him to know she carried his child.

He hoped that Jacob Junior would be enough for Billy to allow a divorce from Tanya, but it hadn't. Maggie was the reason, Billy still believed Maggie was his, though she didn't look like the tribe members. Hell, she didn't even look like Tanya. Tanya was tall and blonde with blue eyes, Maggie was red-haired with blue eyes, though the shade was lighter than Tanya's. He didn't know who'd fathered her but it hadn't been him, it could've been anybody in this town.

He sighed as the child screamed louder as the door to the cabin closed behind Tanya. He stood from the table, where he'd been sitting, and picked her up. He left the cabin, all the while Maggie screamed and took her to Sue and Charlie's place. Charlie wasn't there, he was at the saloon teaching his daughter Isabella how to run the saloon.

Leah was waiting for him when he arrived, she wasn't shocked at the scram toddler. Maggie always cried when Tanya wasn't around. Sue quickly rushed toward him taking Maggie from him hushing her gently. Jacob Junior, who was in Leah's arms, reached for him. Jacob smiled at his son taking him into his arms.

"So you're replacing Edward as the second bartender?" Leah asked. "How does your wife feel about that?" She said wife like it was an insult.

"She doesn't know," he answered handing the babe back to his mother. He leaned down kissing Leah before saying, "I have to go. Bella might not hire me if I'm late."

She nodded standing on her tiptoes to kiss him goodbye one last time.

When he arrived at Swan Saloon he saw it was already packed. Emmett was at the bar pouring drinks for the saloon girl Kate, he had an angry look on his face. Toward the back, Charlie Swan and Isabella Masen were arguing it looked pretty heated. Tanya was serving a table with James and several others he didn't recognize, though one looked oddly familiar with red hair.

He walked to the bar just as Kate walked away and Rosalie, Emmett's wife, replaced her. Emmett filled her tray and she left shooting Jacob a glare. He wondered what that was about.

"What can I get you?" Emmett asked him.

"Actually, I'm here for the bartender position." He explained.

Emmett's eyebrows drew together, "I didn't know there was an open position."

"Charlie offered it to me yesterday. Said Bella need another bartender since Edward quite." Jacob explained.

"Edward quite!" Emmett yelled and several patrons glared at him.

It seemed Emmett was out of the loop on this. Before Jacob could answer Bella and Charlie approached the bar still arguing. She turned to Emmett and Jacob then anger still in her eyes as she smiled at them.

"Your right on time Jacob, you can jump behind the bar and Emmett can teach the ropes," she told him.

"Edward quite?" Emmett asked her.

She sighed, "yes, didn't he tell you? He works with Jasper as deputy now."

"We haven't been on speaking terms lately," Emmett admitted sheepishly.

"Believe me, I know," she answered snorting loudly.

"Bella, I think you should consider getting help," Charlie said.

She turned on him, "I told you I can do this. If you didn't think I could why give me the saloon?" They walked away still arguing.

Tanya made her way to the bar and glared when she saw her husband, "What are you doing here?"

"I work here now. And who are you question me?" he answered smirking at her. "I've told you before I don't care what you do."

She stormed away from the bar not replying. Things went relatively smooth for the rest of the evening. Emmett talked him through the job and turned out to be a pretty cool guy. Things were good until his father, Billy, walked in with Leah, JJ, and Maggie in toe. Sue followed quickly behind them and went to a table where Charlie and Bella sat going over some kind of paperwork.

Jacob glanced at Leah ensuring she wasn't hurt before turning to glare at his father. "What do you think you're doing?"

Billy ignored him calling to Tanya when she hesitantly approached he handed her Maggie who he'd been carrying in his arms. "Rumor has it your whore is expecting again."

The entire room gasped. Jacob squared his shoulders facing the older man, "This is news to me."

"Tell him!" Billy demanded Leah throwing her forward. Jacob almost didn't catch her before she and the baby hit the floor. "Tell him!"

"There's nothing to tell!" Leah shot back brave now she was in Jacob's arms.

Before Billy could say anything else the man who'd looked familiar to Jacob stood shocked. He was looking at Tanya and Maggie. It suddenly dawned on him that he looked just like Maggie, that's why he's looked so familiar.

"Tanya you have a child?" he demanded.

"Not now Liam!" she yelled at him nervous.

Billy turned from his son the man. Jacob knew when Billy looked at this Liam he'd see it too. The older man's eyes widen as looked from Liam to Maggie. It was clear Tanya had known all along who her father was. Why had she lied?

"Who are you?" Billy demanded.

"Liam O'Brian." He answered looking from Tanya to Billy. "Why didn't you tell me? We've been together for three years and you never said anything?"

"Three years? She has been married to my son two and half!" Billy said now turning his glare to Tanya.

"Married!?" Liam yelled.

"I can explain!" Tanya said to both of them. "Jacob do something!" she demanded of him.

"Do what? I'm just as shocked as them. I mean I knew she wasn't mine, but you said you didn't even know who her father was." He said shaking his head but he was smirking.

Billy looked over his son, shame on his face as he did so, "I… Jacob I'm sorry." He turned to Leah, "I owe you one as well… I'm sorry."

"I didn't expect any of that," Edward whispered loudly to his wife and Charlie, Jacob hadn't known he'd showed up.

It was then Jacob remembered the entire saloon had just witnessed the airing of the Black family's dirty laundry. He looked to Edward, who had spoked to Bella. He was standing behind the chair Bella still sat in his deputy badge pined just above his breast pocket on his right side. Next to him was Sue standing behind Charlie's chair her hands on his shoulders. Jacob turned from them looking at the faces in the crowd, they just witness Tanya's shame.

Billy seeming not to realize the audience said hung his head said, "I'll allow the divorce."
