WAW Training Gym
"Alright you reprobates listen up, It's nearly christmas so i got you guys a present" head Trainer Zack Knight Said to his group of Child trainees
"Is it Alcoholic" One Lad asked Zack frowned
The door to the gym opened and In walked Hadrian and Paige Both wearing their Championship Titles
"No you may not drink the World's Heavyweight Champion, but what you can do is drag your cocky little backside into the ring and spar with the champ" Hadrian said mockingly He handed Paige the ten pounds of gold kissing his fiancee and stepped into the ring.
Zack chuckled as Hadrian schooled the young trainee, In reality he was a bit of a class clown and Zack needed to calm him down so asked a favour of his soon to be brother in law, Hadrian was happy to oblige quickly finishing the upstart off and Covering him.
"Hey Jimmy listen, Zack knows what he's talking about alright so please do yourself a favour and simmer down and listen to him alright"
The young trainee smiled and shook hands with the Champ and Apologised to Zack.
"Right you lot class dismissed, I'll see you all at the arena Friday night for the weekender alright"
Zack said the group of trainees all rushing off
"Cheers for that mate, he's been a right tosser needed a slap but the right kind of motivation, and with you and my sister being around I had to take advantage" Zack said with a chuckle
"Hadrian's Happy to do it, plus I get to see his fine backside in action, bit of a turn on watching you work in the same ring i trained in" Paige said With all the subtlety of a brick pinching her 0fiance's backside
"Hey, I'm happy for your Sis I am but please could you not do that in front of me?"
"I Can hardly do it when mum and dad are around Zack, We've been here a week I'm feeling neglected" Paige Whined quickly stopping when Hadrian whispered something in her ear about silencing charms.
"You need a lift back to mum and dads, I take it you're coming for dinner?" Zack offered the trio sharing the van back to the family home.
Later at Dinner
"Everyone looking forward to another big Festive Weekender?" Ricky asked looking around the table to his family
"About that actually dad" Paige cut in.
"Hade and I were talking, We've got an idea, we'll happily do an appearance, but We'd actually quite like to do a bit more?"
Ricky looked perplexed
"I'm here I'm the NWA World's Champion why not put me on the show, In fact You and Me Friday Night I'll put The Championship up"
Silence crossed the table Ricky was shocked then nodded "We didn't know you could do that"
Paige cut in "Yup spoke to the Office NWA's position is for the champions to travel and put on title defences, How about it Mum Saturday Night?" Saraya looked shocked for a moment laughing "I'm going to kick your arse".
The dinner was full of chat and hype for the weekender shows. Finally coming to an end with Hadrian and Paige retiring for the night.
2 days later WAW Weekender Friday Night
The announcer was in the ring welcoming everyone to the show when Hadrian's music played
The NWA World's Heavyweight Champion walked out, taking the microphone.
"Evening Norwich, My name is Hadrian Black the NWA World's Heavyweight Champion.
I'm the most sought after wrestler in the world today, and if it wasn't the home to my beautiful future wife, I wouldn't be caught dead in this Hell Hole."
Hadrian was cut off as Ricky Knight walked out trying to hide the grin on his face he told Hadrian to shut up, and stop talking about his home.
Hadrian asked him what an old man like him was going to do about it, Ricky unloaded a punch on the cocky young champion. As Hadrian powdered out up the ramp He promised he'd ruin Ricky later.
Backstage Paige and Saraya waited "that was brilliant They can't wait to see you and Ricky go at it" The older woman gushed.
"I'm glad he's not taking it easy on me but blimey he doesnt half pack a punch, felt like the earth moved" Hadrian Mock whined Paige Shutting him up with a Kiss the cheeky young champion doing a comic book grin. Both women laughing as Ricky appeared from ringside.
"That was top notch Hadrian my son, They absolute bleedin' ate it up, they are going to boo the everloving hell out of you later I'd watch out for what they chuck at you I love these people but some of them are absolute filthy hermits." The Head of the Knight family said with a knowing smile.
Hadrian and Paige slipped off to a changing area to relax as the main event was in an hour
Paige changed into her gear and added a shirt as she was going to rush her mum after a match
To set up tomorrow's match.
"How do I look?" She asked, Hadrian gave her an incredulous look
"Babe when have I ever not told you how Gorgeous you look?" He asked the obvious rhetorical question hanging for a second.
"You look great now go get out there your mums setting up to put that poor girl down"
Ringside
Saraya Grabbed her dazed opponent and dropped her with a samoan drop
Covering her for the pin fall.
As she was celebrating Paige ran through the crowd into the ring and Speared her.
The Crowd went silent before Paige removed her hood to show who she was.
The Crowd were genuinely torn
This was their home town girl attacking her own mother.
They eventually joined in and started booing
As Paige exited ahead of the Night's Main Event
Standing behind the Curtain Ricky Warmed up
For arguably his biggest match
Hadrian walked into the area but was stopped by Paige, Saraya and the Hooligans
"Babe, my brothers wanted to…"
"Thanks for this mate, You have no idea what an NWA Title match means to our dad" Zack said
"When Ricky was coming up the NWA championship the same title you're wearing was the pinnacle of wrestling, he almost had a chance at it but noone wanted to let a bloke from England have a shot, it always bothered him" Saraya explained
"You guys are my Raven's Family, So far as I'm concerned that makes you part of mine too, Tonight Ricky is my enemy and I'm not going easy on him"
"Mate Dad told us he's planning to give you everything he's got left" Roy said With a smirk
Hadrian kissed Paige and Headed for the curtain.
Ringside
Ricky made his way to the ring
The local audience loudly cheered for him as he Waited for his opponent.
Hadrian came through the curtain holding the NWA World's Heavyweight championship in the air. He entered the ring and passed the title to the referee.
Facing Ricky in the centre of the ring the two men shook hands
The match was a ten minute spectacular
Ricky overpowered the smaller wrestler with his brawler game Hadrian kept battling back with speed based offence.
The finish of the match came as Ricky Grabbed Hadrian and went for the Goodknight Slam Hadrian got free of the Grapple and Caught Ricky with the Black Death Neckbreaker.
Covering Ricky for the 3 Count.
Hadrian Stood and took the title from the referee.
He quickly approached the fallen Ricky and offered his hand helping his Father in law to his feet.
Ricky raised Hadrian's hand.
The fans cheered the two men who shook hands.
As if out of nowhere Hadrian crumpled to the floor. Nick Aldis had entered the ring with a steel chair and levelled the champion.
From behind Ricky Thom Latimer and Royce Isaacs rushed the older wrestler, beating the Knight Family Patriarch down.
The trio continued a beatdown on Hadrian and Ricky until The Hooligans Barrelled down the ramp both holding kosh batons.
Roy and Zak ran off the trio of men as Hadrian crawled to his knees Blood running down his face.
He crawled over to the house Microphone
"ALDIS DON'T LEAVE, NO ONE JUMPS ME LIKE THAT"
Zak and Roy had helped Ricky to his feet
Aldis and His group were in the crowd having been joined by Kanille
Ricky put his hand out for the Microphone Hadrian obliging.
"Listen here you ungrateful punk. I helped you start in the game and you do this to me, you bring your little scout troop with you tomorrow night and We'll see how the four of you handle…"
"The Black-Knight Dynasty" Hadrian supplied a brief look of shock crossing Ricky's Face before he nodded and smiled.
The Following Day in the Dressing room the New version of the Dynasty got ready
Ricky stood in the middle of the Room.
"Tonight we put Aldis in his place.
We show him that he can't walk into our house and mess with us.
He might not be blood but he's spending the rest of his days with our Paige, he makes her Happy so he's one of Us"
Hadrian looked to Ricky for permission to speak.
"Rick I appreciate you saying that, The only Family i ever knew was my godfather who died when I was 15.
Until I met all of you, I've not felt wanted like this before and I don't want that to change.
A/N
I wanted to have a bit of fun with Paige's Family, and this felt like a nice way to do it.
I've based the Knights off their characters in the Fighting with my Family film.
So Ricky very much is Nick Frost from that film.
