Hadrian Black - WWE's Next Superstar Book 3, Chapter 6: WAW Weekender Night 3
Strictly Business (Aldis, Latimer, Isaacs & Kamile) vs The Black Knight Dynasty (Hadrian, The Hooligans & Paige W/ Ricky): 8 person intergender Tag Match.
Aldis and his squad stood in the ring. The men all wore expressions of disgust as the local fans told them exactly what they thought of them. Hadrian's music played as the entire family walked onto the stage as one. Ricky took a step back, letting Paige and Hadrian step to the front to raise their championships. Putting the belts down, the Dynasty ran to the ring, sliding in and starting to brawl with Strictly Business. Referee Tommy Cornell couldn't do much as six men and two women kicked lumps out of each other. The Hooligans worked in tandem, as did Isaacs and Latimer. The match never really got under control until extra referees entered the fray to try and get some level of control. The Hooligans and the Latimer/Isaacs pairing fought to the back, leaving it as a tag team match.
Hadrian and Paige vs Aldis & Kamille. Paige picked up the victory over Kamille after stereo Blackdeath Neckbreakers. Ricky raised his daughter and son-in-law's hand to the delight of the fans. During the celebration, music played and standing atop the ramp was Ricky Knight Jr. His dad, Roy, stood behind him. Over his shoulder was WAW's World Heavyweight Championship. Ricky Jr raised the title over his head, pointing at Hadrian & The NWA Worlds Championship.
Later backstage, Hadrian was changing when Roy and Ricky Jr entered. "Hey Champ, I come in peace. Sorry about the surprise, but I figured you beat the OG Ricky Knight, why not give the new one a try?" Hadrian smiled and walked over. He looked the wrestler not much younger than him over. "Alright, sure. Title for Title, the winner takes all," Hadrian replied. The WAW champion shook his future uncle's hand. (Yeah, I didn't know about Ricky Jr until recently. He's 28.)
The match took place the following week. Hadrian had Paige in his corner, whilst RKJ had the Hooligans in his. After both had entered, their corner teams left for fairness reasons, leaving the two mid-20s champions alone in the ring. The younger Ricky had limitless stamina, or at least it felt like it as he kept coming at Hadrian. Hadrian hit three of his Neckbreakers, but the younger wrestler kept getting up. Hadrian channelled his strength and kicked RKJ low. The younger man bent double, and Hadrian bounced off the ropes and delivered a Black Doom Stomp. The cover was inevitable: Hadrian Black had won, retained the NWA Title, and won the WAW Title. Hadrian raised both belts as Paige entered and put her arm around her love.
Hadrian and Paige left Norwich later that night, heading back to London to Grimmauld place. Draco and Emma had been living there with the now-toddler Tenille. Emma hugged Paige as the two cousins shook hands. Hadrian showed his former manager the two titles he now held. "You going to collect those?" Draco joked. Hadrian grinned. "I think I might. There's a few I could look at…" Draco cut him off. "Hold that thought." Hadrian looked confused, but Draco handed him a letter. After Hadrian read the letter, he handed it to Paige. "
