Hey everyone. I hope y'all enjoyed the last chapter. I may or may not have answered a few questions you all may have.

My kids are back in school so it is easier to write now but I can't guarantee how often I will update so please bear with me.

As always S.M. owns all things related to Twilight. I just like to add my own twist to it.

Now onto the story…

Edward:

"Edward, are you even listening to me?" James yelled from across the room.

God I hated him but I do what I am told to do day in and day out by Aro.

I sighed. "What?"

He chuckled. "Stop daydreaming and listen. This future seeing chick was last rumored to be in Massachusetts. Salem specifically. Get your shit together and let's roll out."

I growled. "I can't go there. You guys can go without me."

Victoria spoke up from next to James. "Grow up Eddie and move on. You are always a sourpuss." She laughed.

"Yeah. You are like the only person I know who hates what they are. You need to embrace it, especially your mind reading ability." Laurent said from the doorway. "That ability is like the greatest one yet."

"Maybe for you. You have no idea what it's like to hear everyone everywhere, all at once." I growled out as I grabbed my bag and headed outside. "Let's go"

Driving would have been faster but James needed to be able to smell the environment to track. I hated being around these three because all they ever think about is feeding and sex. Victoria thinks that James is her "mate" but James thinks otherwise. He is only using Victoria for her escape techniques. Laurent hangs with them because they are entertainment for him. They let Laurent watch sometimes when they have sex. I tend to run off on my own when that happens.

We work for Aro. He is a vampire hunter of sorts. However, he doesn't stop at hunting vampires. Oh no, he hunts anything supernatural really. Except witches. No those he needs. He needs them to perform locator spells, binding spells, and a spell for jewelry so those he deems fit can walk in the daylight. Otherwise, one can only walk from sunset to sunrise.

Why Aro wants to kill all vampires is beyond me considering he is the reason they exist in the first place. Well actually, he is one of the reasons we exist. Him, his wife Renee, and my mother are the reason. It's hard to remember the past so clearly but I do remember him making her and my mother use magic to create a spell to make him and his sons faster and stronger than the creatures he hunted in the forest.

The thing with spells is that when one messes with the natural course of nature, nature will try its damndest to correct itself. So when Renee and my mother turned Aro, Jasper, and Emmett into vampires, nature decided to use the loophole in the spell, making the sun deadly to them. They were also reborn with a thirst unlike any other they've ever known.

I do remember when it happened. I remember hearing my mother scream as Emmett sank his teeth into her neck as Aro did the same to his wife. Jasper was holding his head as he cried, repeatedly asking why. I looked to Jasper's feet and there on the floor laid his sister.

I was injured from a hunting trip gone bad so I could not run fast enough away. Emmett caught me by the throat and for the first time in my life, I was afraid of him. His face was completely different. His eyes were jet black. He had fangs and he was much stronger than before. I remember the pain in my neck as he fed off my blood.

The next thing I remember is waking up to my new life.

I am considered an Ancient One just like Aro and his children because we are the first of our kind. Emmett took my human life and Aro gave me my immortal life. This is why I have stayed with Aro all these years. He says I owe him for saving me.

Saving me? Saving me from what? Who knows.

Maybe he was saving me from my human life. There are some gaps in my human memories. Like someone was in them but I can't make out who it is. One thing I do know is that Salem, Massachusetts was once my home. It was where my human life started and ended and where my immortal life started. I have some good memories from there but also some really bad memories.

The one thing I need to know while in Salem is who is Alice Brandon and Isabella Swanson and why does Aro want them so bad?

Bella:

Charlie's house was really nice. Like many other older houses, this one had a greeting foyer. Parlor sides were on either side of it with a hallway that led into the kitchen. There was a nice grand staircase. Charlie led us into one of the parlors and told everyone to take a seat.

"May I have a word in private Bella?" Charlie asked.

I smiled, "Sure. Lead the way."

Charlie led me down the hallway from the foyer into his office. "Have a seat." He said as he gestured to the couch. "What's your poison? I have a variety over here."

"You do realize that I'm only eighteen, right?" I laughed.

He laughed with me. "Physically, you are eighteen."

"I'll have a whiskey please." I laughed.

He was right. Physically I am only eighteen. Mentally is a completely different story.

"Thank you." I said as he handed me a glass of whiskey. "So what is it that you would like to talk about?"

Charlie's cheeks turned pink. I could feel my teeth start to slide down. I did my best to control them. It has been a few days since I fed. I should probably go tonight.

Charlie rubbed the back of his neck. "Well, see, the thing is." He blew out a breath.

"Dad, spit it out already. I am not getting any younger." I laughed.

"You're right. Uh, I am getting married next week and I would love for you to be there." He said.

I smiled at him. "Really? To whom?"

"Her name is Sue. She is a member of my pack. Her and her children needed a fresh start and came here. We have been together for five years."

"I think that is great. I would love to meet her."

"That's good because they will be joining us for dinner." He said.

"DAD."

"What?" He asked, looking sheepish.

I laughed. "A little more of a warning would have been great. I look like a mess." Which to myself I did.

"Nonsense. You look beautiful." He replied.

I waved my hand. "Fine, fine. Anything else?"

He shook his head. "No. That was all I wanted to talk about. I wanted to know how you felt about it."

"I am extremely happy for you. You deserve happiness, Dad. I can't wait to meet her and my future siblings." I said as I stood and hugged him. "Now, let's get back out there before Emmett tries to entertain himself." I laughed. "Trust me, that wouldn't be good."

"I heard that." Emmett responded.

"Of course you did." My dad laughed as we walked into the parlor room.

Alice flew into my dad, wrapping her tiny arms around his waist. "Congratulations."

Charlie wrapped his arms around her small frame. "Thank you." He kissed her head. "Now on to other news."

We all sobered up for this. All the laughing stopped.

"Buzz kill, man." Emmett laughed.

"So Charlie, can you explain how you knew that Aro sent someone for Alice?" Jasper asked.

I narrowed my eyes on my brother. "Is he who you heard from?"

Jasper smiled at me. "Who else would have told me, Bells?"

"Asshole."

"Isabella."

I laughed. "Sorry. Continue."

My dad tried to keep a straight face but even he knew it was hard to do around us.

"An alpha from another pack contacted me. She overheard a few vampires talking about tracking a vampire who could predict the future. Said that Aro was looking for her. I asked her why she would contact me specifically and her reply was that they also spoke of you." My dad said as he looked at me.

I looked down. "Eight hundred years and he is still after me." I whispered.

"Bella, honey. He doesn't want to kill you anymore." Charlie said.

My head shot up to meet his eyes. "How do you know that?"

"You are special among both werewolves and vampires. Not because you are a hybrid but because of your shield. He needs it more than ever now." Charlie sighed before continuing. "He has vampires out tracking and hunting members of the original packs, not just sub packs."

"Holy shit. He's after you as well." Jasper said.

"Exactly. I am an alpha of the first pack. Bella would be chosen to take over if something should happen to me unless she didn't want it. Then it would go to my second in command, my beta." Charlie answered.

"But why?" Asked Emmett.

A voice spoke up from behind me. "His witches need the blood of the alpha of each original pack for a spell to bind Isabella's wolf side because after all, werewolves were cursed by a witch." spoke a woman in the doorway.

Ah, this must be Sue. She had a kindness in her eyes.

"Sue honey. When did you get home?" Charlie asked as he kissed her on the cheek.

She smiled at him. "A few moments ago." She turned to me. "You must be Isabella. I've heard so much about you."

"Bella and they are all lies." I smiled.

She waved her hand. "Nevertheless. It is really nice to finally meet you." She pulled me into a hug.

Her hug felt magical. Motherly like. Something I hadn't had in a very long time.

Sue took a seat next to my dad after introductions were made. She explained her children would be home from school soon. Her daughter Leah was on the soccer team while her son Seth was on the football team.

"Do you know why he wants to bind my wolf side?" I asked.

Sue shook her head. "Not fully. I can only speculate. I'm thinking that his reason could be one of two things. A, he wants to get rid of your wolf side so he can control you and your shield fully. B, he wants to get rid of the wolf so he can kill you as a vampire."

"But we can't die." Jasper said.

"Exactly. We are the Ancient Ones, the originals. No one has been able to kill us for eight hundred years. Why would he think we can now?" Asked Emmett.

"That is the question. We don't know."

I turned to Alice. "Why Salem? Why did you bring us back here?"

Alice stared at me. Her eyes turned white before she spoke. "It ends at the beginning." Her eyes turned back to normal.

"What the hell does that mean?" Asked Rose.

Okay so we got a little into Edward's mind. I know it's not much, but I promise there will be more of him.

Some questions were answered while others remained unanswered.

Until next time. Take care of each other.
