It was shortly after Chazz lost to Tania and everyone was currently in Jaden's dorm room to try and figure out what to do now that they only had three Spirit Keys left.
"Camula said she'll talk with Tania to allow her to duel Lex, or her." Kevin admitted to them.
"Assuming she says yes." Alexis mentioned before sighing. "Even if we duel her though her Amazoness cards are powerful."
"Able to banish cards, deal piercing damage, multiple attacks, prevent damage, and replacing monsters through battle." Banner said rubbing Pharaoh's head worriedly, "It's almost as if the Battle Phase needs to be forgo for us to have a chance."
"Is there a way to do that?" Jaden asked him.
Banner shrugged which they all gave thought before Syrus then mentioned, "Hey... maybe, I can try?"
Hearing that they all turned to him.
"You?" Camula inquired.
"I... may not be strong but... it was my fault that Zane lost his key so... I decided to give it a try to get stronger." Syrus admitted.
Jaden grinned. "Sure thing Sy."
"Jaden are you sure?" Atticus asked him having not known what kind of Duelist, Syrus is.
"Yeah, Syrus is a great duelist. He's the reason we took down the Paradox Brothers after all." Jaden smiled.
"Wait you mean Para, and Dox?" Kevin asked shocked hearing that.
"Yeah, we told you about that remember Kevin? They were almost expelled because of being caught at the Abandoned Dorm." Alexis reminded him.
"Oh yeah." Kevin remembered at that before saying, "And Zane said he still has a lot to learn but now thanks to Jaden he's on his way to be a duelist as strong as he is."
Syrus looked down blushing a bit embarrassed at that before Chumley then asked, "Would Tania even allow Syrus to duel her? No offense to you Syrus but you look a bit-"
"Weak?" Syrus guessed before sighing, "Yeah, I know, but despite me not looking much it's what's inside that matters. Besides I'm more then my size."
"Well, we should come up with strategies no matter who she duels." Alexis pointed out.
They all nodded agreeing at this.
Later that night...
Syrus was making last minute changes to his Deck before pausing looking at a Dark Magician Girl card before he frowned, "Oh... I wish you would be here to help me out. I could really use your support."
"Maybe kiss her for good luck." Chumley suggested. "I mean, it's not like Dark Magician Girl would help your deck right?"
"W-What?" Syrus asked surprised hearing that before blushing bright, "T-That would be kind of silly wouldn't it?"
"Can it really hurt anything?" Chumley asked him. "I mean... if you lose it's not that big a deal since you don't have one of those Spirit Keys right?"
Syrus turned back at that looking at the card before sighing, "Well nothing to lose I guess..." He leaned kissing the card at that.
Chumley just chuckled before rolling over to go to sleep.
Syrus sighed looking at the card again, "I would really appreciate if you would help me out." He placed the card at the side continuing to work on his Deck not noticing the Dark Magician Girl card was glowing.
Soon he was done before sighing, "Well done... I just hope it's ready for tomorrow."
The next morning...
Syrus was walking to the colosseum himself to join the others holding his Deck.
"Well, hopefully things work out this time." Alexis mentioned only to frown. "Is everyone at least ready in case?"
"Yeah." they all nodded before Kevin turned to Camula, "So what did Tania say, Cami?"
"She said she'll look over you all and make up her mind." Camula answered. "Well, everyone except you Kevin."
He nodded at that before he asked everyone, "Is everyone ready?"
They all nodded before they walked in where they find Tania was there with Chazz already at the audience seat with crossed arms.
"Chazz, what did you do to my beloved Tania?" Bastion questioned glaring at him.
Chazz glared back, "Ah shut up, she's the one who tried to do many of things with me! She finally decided to stop!"
"Such a shame honestly, he was too whimpy." Tania admitted with a sigh, "Well now, I can check over again for who."
"Tania, about what we discussed last night." Camula mentioned.
"Hm? Oh yeah, what we talked about." Tania nodded at this before saying, "Well now, after some discussion, I decided I'll be giving the fellow girls a chance against me but I'm still looking for my dream man, except him of course." She gestured to Kevin at that, "So any brave duelists that want to face me right now, come forward."
"Oh your new." Tania said seeing Syrus, "So are you a hidden Key Holder?"
"Uh, no not really." Syrus shook his head.
"Then why are you here?" Tania asked.
Syrus gulped before sensing something, and turned over slightly noticing someone in the stands which everyone else don't see. The figure smiled and gave a small wave. He stared before blushing turning back, "I... I want to prove that I can fight too."
Tania grinned at this, "Well then, I'd say you might be what I'm looking for. He'll be my opponent for today. The rest of you can go sit with that guy."
"You'll do a great job Syrus." Jaden grinned.
"I'd hope so..." he admitted walking to face Tania, "I'll... face your Deck of Knowledge."
Tania grinned readying herself after placing the Deck in.

Sage charged a magical attack before Syrus grunted calling, "Well, I activate Shuttleroid's ability! Whenever he's selected by an attack, he can dodge the attack by banishing himself!" Shuttleroid at that vanished missing Sage's targeting sight.
"That's a good move, it protects his monster for later." Kevin noted.
"Well you might've done that but I got an effect." Tania grinned, "When a Warrior on my field is involved from an attack, then the effect of Reinforcement of the Army's Troops activates." The spell glowed before Tania explained, "I can summon another Warrior from my hand that's level 4 or lower to my hand."
"Huh?" Syrus asked looking shocked.
"So now come from my hand, Amazoness Trainee!"
At that a Amazoness holding a chain that has a spike on it rose up readying it's chain.

'Okay last that...' Syrus thought placing a hand on his Deck to draw as he grunted before noticing the figure from earlier seeing it.
The figure frowned before smiling supportively. Syrus blushed before looking back to Tania saying, "First since Shuttleroid was banished by his ability he comes back."
Shuttleroid rose up again at this.

"Then you lose 1000 life points!" Syrus added as Shuttleroid fired an attack at Tania which she moved defending herself. (Tania: 3000/Hand: 1)
"No way, this Slifer Slacker is going to pull it off?" Chazz questioned in shock.
"Next I..." Syrus takes a look at his drawn card widening his eyes, 'No way, of all draws, I drawn this...?' It was a Field Spell of his own.
"That doesn't look good." Alexis frowned.
Syrus soon looked at Tania, and she's surprised to find what looks like a confident face.
'There's more to him than meets the eye.' she thought before smiling. "What are you up to cutie?"
"This card! My own personal environment! Megaroid City!"
At that alongside Village appeared what seemed like a futuristic city of cartoonish machine monsters.

Now at the Main Phase 2, Syrus said, "Well now, I use Megaroid City's first effect. I can destroy a card on my field, to add a roid to my hand. I destroy the Amazoness Sage equipped to Truckroid!"
The equipment card shattered shocking everyone. Without Sage, Truckroid lost it's boost.
Truckroid: (ATK: 2400 - 1400 = 1000)
"Are you sure you want to do that? Now your monster is weaker." Tania asked just as surprised.
"Someone said before, no-one accomplishes anything by playing it safe." Syrus answered taking a card to his hand before setting it, and a second card, "I place 2 cards down. And that will end my turn."

"Well your quite a risky type aren't ya? I like my men willing to gamble for big plays." Tania grinned winking flirtingly.
Syrus shuddered a little seeing this before looking at the figure. The figure was pouting slightly only to blink before looking from Syrus to Tania curiously and then back to Syrus. Syrus blushed before looking back, "Well show me what you can do."
"Very well then." Tania grinned drawing looking before grinning, "This might look familiar. Polymerization!"

Syrus gave another glance at the figure for support. The figure looked slightly nervous but smiled at him.
"What does he keep looking at?" Chazz questioned looking over.
He sees nothing was there before hearing Tania call, "Now Pet Liger attack that Shuttleroid!"
Pet Liger growled charging at Shuttleroid before Syrus called, "Sorry but don't you remember! Shuttleroid banishes himself to protect himself from your attack!"
Shuttleroid vanishes which Pet Liger's attack missed but Tania smirked, "Maybe so, but Pet Liger can attack again. Go!"
Pet Liger charged at Truckroid before she called, "And due to her ability she gains 500 attack points during battle!"

At this Syrus called, "Well I have two effects! First is the Trap, Supercharge!"

"Maybe not, but I got the second effect of Megaroid City!" Syrus mentioned, "By sending a roid from my Deck to the graveyard," he sends a card from his Deck to the graveyard, before revealing, "Truckroid's attack, and defense points are switched!"

"It may not be enough but he still reduced the damage a bit." Jaden said seeing that before Pet Liger swiped at Truckroid destroying it while Syrus winced a bit. (Syrus: 2800/Hand: 3)
"So far so good, but if she plays her Amazoness Empress Syrus will be in major trouble." Professor Banner pointed out.
"Well little sugar plum you are proving to be resilient." Tania grinned to him winking which Syrus shuddered again, "Well that's all for this turn."

'I'll not let her words that distract Bastion, and Chazz effect me... I already got someone.' Syrus looks at the figure again before smiling at them.
The figure's eyes widened slightly before pointing to herself. He nodded. She smiled at that before nodding confidently. He turned back before saying, "I draw!" Syrus looked before calling, "First up, Shuttleroid comes back!"
At that Shuttleroid rose up again attacking Tania. (Tania: 2000/Hand: 1)
"Alright, I'll summon Expressroid from my hand!"
At that a train rolled up.

"Well now, that sounds pretty impressive." Tania smiled.
"Well now you remember Truckroid, and Drillroid that I added back?" Syrus asked before showing them with a third roid, "Well they along with Stealthroid in my hand, and Expressroid on my field are all gonna combine together!"
At that the three four flew up fusing together.
"Fusing four monsters?" Kevin asked in surprise. "That's going to make something powerful."
"Four Robotic Automatons! Form together into a base of operations to create a new form of robotic power! Fusion Summon! Level 9, Super Vehicroid - Stealth Union!"
At that what rose was a large robot made out of different vehicles raising up.

"I take 1 Amazoness from the graveyard, and summon it in attack mode!" Tania called, "So now you have to face an Amazoness before you finish me off!"
The graveyard portal appeared before Amazoness Tiger starts to emerge out.
"Not good." Alexis frowned.
Syrus only grinned, "Sorry but I never gotten a chance to show the card, I added with Megaroid City's effect."
"Huh?" Tania widen her eyes at that.
"Go Emergeroid Call!" Syrus called.

"Awesome!" Jaden cheered.

"And now Stealth Union finish her!" Syrus called pointing before Stealth Union charged a fist, "When Stealth Union attacks, it's original points are cut in half!"

"Even if they're halved he still wins." Kevin smiled. "Zane would definitely be proud of this duel."
Stealth Union launched the attack as Tania stepped back before she grinned to Syrus, "Well well... You were right that no-one accomplishes anything great by playing safe."
"Well... I try." Syrus admitted.
"I mean it. And now my search is over... but I'm not your woman. She is." Tania smiled before closing her eyes glowing.

Tania transformed into a white tiger similar to Bass shocking them before she growled softly at Syrus, and turned to Bastion before walking off with Bass herself out of the colosseum.
"Such a shame, she truly does deserve to find someone special." Camula admitted as they walked down.
"No way, how did you pull that off?" Chazz questioned staring at Syrus.
Syrus didn't listen only turning over where the figure was. Syrus blinked before Jaden asked, "Hello earth to Sy!" Syrus blinked before looking, "Oh uh... sorry, I... had seen my true love..."
Jaden blinked hearing that. "Wait, really? Well um... I think you can still catch her? How fast are Tigers again?"
Syrus blinked before blushing, "Hey-hey-hey, wait-wait-wait-wait, I didn't say Tania was my true love, n-n-not that I really have one, I mean do but-wait what am I talking about?"

Alexis only smiled at this, "Sure, I would like that. We can take it in my room too once I tell Miss Fontaine."
Jaden nodded with a smile. "Ok, I... well I'll tell you when I get there."
They walked out at this before Chumley asked Syrus, "Say Syrus what exactly do you keep looking at? During the duel you were distracted by something."
Syrus looked down blushing big, "Well... it was who I said. My true love... And besides you won't believe me if I tell you who."
Chumley blinked before shrugging.
