"We've been waiting for this day for a long time. Now it's here."
"I know, I can't believe the boss is finally coming."
"Of course he will. All the pieces are in place."
"They will once we enact the plan at least."
"Theirs no stopping the Dark Scorpions!" they all called raising their weapons together.
Meanwhile...
A ship is approaching, and it's passenger was a guy coming to the island.
"Time to get to work." the man said to himself staring at the island.
At the Academy...
Jaden was having a match with Chazz while the others were watching.
"Alright Shining Flare Wingman light up his world!" His ace which has a bright light up flew destroying Chazz's dragon being lighting up brightly.
"Ahhh!" Chazz cried as his monster was destroyed and he lost the last of his life points.
"Shining Flare Wingman... always one of his signatures." Kevin chuckled at this sitting beside Camula while shaking his head.
"True, it's certainly a useful card." she chuckled.
"Well nothing like training for the Shadow Riders right?" Jaden grinned to them.
"About that, I doubt any amount of training will be enough." Camula told him.
"About Abidos, and Amneal right?" Kevin asked her.
"Yes, compared to the others... you all have zero chance of defeating them." she nodded.
"That's why we're doing this to avoid that." Jaden gestured to his recent match with a fuming Chazz.
"Jaden, you're a very skilled duelist. But Abidos is undefeated, he's never lost a duel in his life and he was one of the pharaoh's of ancient Egypt." Camula told him. "As for Amnael... there's something about him that... unnerves me."
"So I gotten break his undefeated streak is all." Jaden told her.
"It obviously won't be that easy Jaden." Zane told him.
"Who say it is?" Jaden asked him.
"Just be careful, each Shadow Rider is more dangerous than the last." Zane reminded him.
"We already know that." Bastion nodded a bit at this.
"Not to mention we're outnumbered. Three Spirit Keys and four Shadow Riders." Kevin recalled. "Who still has one?"
Jaden, and Alexis revealed their keys.
"Professor Banner has one too." Alexis told him.
"Well now, it might be better for our to increase guard here for the Shadow Riders to have a more harder time getting to us." Kevin suggested at this.
"Already done, apparently Chancellor Sheppard got in contact with a private investigator." Bastion mentioned.
"Do you know who?" Kevin asked him hearing that.
"No, I don't." Bastion admitted.
"Well we should probably meet with the Chancellor." Kevin suggested before turning to Camula, "And it's getting late Cami, you should head back to the castle, and wait for me."
She nodded at that before giving him a gentle kiss. "I'll see you at home."
With that she walked off. With that the rest of the cast walked together before Bastion's phone started to ring. Blinking he answered it. "Hello?"
"Big brother?" was the sound of a little girl.
Bastion's eyes widened hearing that. "What, are you alright? Did the doctors tell you to call?"
"I'm okay Bastion..." the voice said to him with a smile, "They just told me, that I'm well enough to come see you at Duel Academy."
"You... absolutely not, you are not coming to the island!" Bastion practically shouted. "Am I clear?"
Everyone turned over to him surprised. And Bastion's tone was a little harsh cause he heard a slight whimper. Bastion frowned at that. "Look, I'm sorry sis... it's just, things are complicated but it's too dangerous for you to come to Academy Island right now. Believe me if it were possible I would be thrilled to see you but... you could be hurt if you come now, I'm sorry but it's just not safe."
"But... I really wanted to see you after this long." she told him with a slightly cracking voice.
Bastion looked down at that. "I'm sorry, you just can't."
With that he hung up before frowning.
"Please... excuse me, I need to go."
"Bastion what was that?" Jaden asked him concerned.
Freezing he looked down. "That... was my younger sister, she's in the hospital and has been for some time."
"The hospital? What happened with her?" Alexis asked shocked.
"She was very sick as a young girl." Bastion answered.
"Let me guess you want to leave the Island so that she can see you so she wouldn't have to come here." Kevin said to him.
"It's fine... besides I need to be here to help you all for when the remaining Shadow Riders arrive. I may have lost, but I can still help in some way." Bastion answered.
"Bastion you should go check on your sister personally. She might try to come here herself if you don't." Syrus mentioned to him.
"She's hospitalized Syrus, she can't come to this island. Just... I need to be by myself right now." Bastion told him before walking off towards the Ra Yellow dorm.
"That wasn't what I mean..." Syrus trailed off.
"Right now Syrus before we deal with his sister, we gotta see this officer Chancellor Sheppard brought here." Kevin told the younger Truesdale.
Syrus looked unsure but nodded. With that they walked before Kevin knocked on the door.
"Come in." Sheppard's voice answered.
They walked in at this. They saw Chancellor Sheppard along with a man in a detective's outfit and an eyepatch.
"Chancellor." Kevin nodded in respect.
"You must be Kevin Yuki, I've heard quite a bit about you." the detective mentioned. "I am detective Zaloog, your chancellor has requested my help with this Spirit Key business, he was just informing me of the situation and I must say I got here just in time."
Kevin blinked looking at him seeing his eyepatch before nodding, "Yes sir."
"Detective Zaloog is here to help with security, I expect you all to cooperate with him." Chancellor Sheppard mentioned calmly only to pause. "Where's Bastion?"
"His sister had called, saying she wants to visit the Island." Kevin answered.
"I see." Sheppard nodded just as Kevin noticed a bat at the window.
Noticing that Camula is getting into contact he walked over opening the window while raising his arm for the bat to perch on. The bat screeched at him which to his brief surprise he found he could understand the bat as it informed him Bastion had called his sister back and after an apology and long list of rules he relented and agreed that she could come to the Island and that he would be waiting for the helicopter when she got there in a few hours.
With that Kevin nodded before telling the bat, "Thanks for informing us Cami. We will be at the Helicopter Landing Zone in a few hours for her."
"Kevin?" Alexis asked hearing that.
After it flew up he turned to them saying, "That was Cami. She just let me know that she convinced Bastion to let his sister come as long as she follows some rules."
"Sweet, I can't wait to meet her." Jaden grinned.
"Professor, why don't you guide Detective Zaloog around while we prep the place for her?" Kevin suggested Banner.
"Of course, please come with me detective." Banner nodded.
With that they walked over.
Over the course of the next few hours, and permission they prepped a small room for Lilly to stay in, in the Ra Yellow Dorm close to Bastion's while also doing some cleaning around. Kevin in his part had him, and Camula dress up in new clothes for Lilly to not feel scared as she will be around 2 Vampires, while Zane, and Syrus informed the chefs in Ra Yellow to prep some special food for Lilly.
Soon at the helicopter landing zone they waited patiently. Hearing something they looked seeing a helicopter was approaching.
"Jaden do not challenge her to a duel. Chazz behave yourself." Bastion instructed as he was clearly nervous.
"Don't worry Bastion, everyone is at their best behavior." Kevin assured him with a smile.
"I trust you, Alexis, and Zane. It's Jaden and Chazz I'm worried about." Bastion admitted just before they noticed the helicopter landing.
After opening the door a doctor climbed out before turning around helping someone off.
It was a small black haired girl wearing only a long white gown that has blue eyes gently climbing out with blue socks. Seeing her Bastion looked nervous before closing his eyes. "Lilly..."
While standing close to her the doctor guides her to where Bastion is before nodding, "Bastion, your sister's condition is at it's best for her to see you here on Academy Island. So far there had been no problems with her health, but treat her well she's really delicate."
"I understand completely." Bastion nodded taking her hand. "Well, this is Academy Island Lilly."
She takes his hand with a smile looking around before the doctor handed Bastion a pack, "It's her medication, and syringes for her to take. At any time something about her health pops up or before bed be sure to inject her with one of these."
"I understand." Bastion nodded only to pause and sigh. "Lilly, I think some of my... classmates are eager to meet you."
After a nod the doctor left while Bastion guides Lilly to his friends who were waiting. Alexis smiled to her nodding, "It's really nice to meet you."
"It's nice to meet you two." Lilly smiled back to her.
"Lilly, these are my classmates." Bastion told her calmly. "Kevin Yuki, his younger brother Jaden, Zane Truesdale, his brother Syrus, Chazz Princeton, Chumley Huffington, Alexis Rhodes, and her brother Atticus."
"And this lovely lady is my girlfriend, Camula." Kevin answered with Camula wearing a blue dress.
"That's so romantic." Lilly smiled hearing that. "You look so beautiful miss Camula."
"Why thank you." Camula smiled back to her hearing that, "How are you feeling today?"
"I'm ok, the doctor said I'm better than before." Lilly mentioned.
"Lilly, do you mind telling us why you were at the hospital?" Syrus asked.
"My health... it's really weak, and my immune system is complicated." Lilly admitted to him.
"Can we do anything to help?" Chumley asked her.
"I'm doing okay right now." Lilly said with a smile.
"Well, why don't we get you settled in your room and then Bastion can give you the grand tour." Zane suggested calmly.
"I'd like that." Lilly smiled to him while taking Bastion's hand.
Bastion held her hand slightly tighter to make sure she was ok as they went to the Ra Yellow Dorm. Soon arriving at the room Lilly looked around before smiling, "This is pretty spacious."
"I'm glad you like it." Alexis smiled.
"If you need anything just ask your brother." Jaden grinned to her.
"I will, thank you." Lilly smiled.
Later that day...
After some tours they then get to why Detective Zaloog was there. He was sent to better enforce Security to the students with the Spirit Keys, and advises them to hide their's in same places. Taking that advice, they went to the Slifer Red Dorm for Jaden and Banner to hide their keys.
Jaden hide his in a drawer filled with clutter, and Banner hides his in a safe. Alexis' meanwhile is hid in a shelve filled with jewelery during of which four people were there conveniently Gorg, CK, and Cliff each a Janitor, a new student, and a Security Guard along with Meanae the School Nurse's assistant, and afterward Detective Zaloog advised them to head to bed where through the night the rooms were broken into where the schools were taken as under the Academy they were placed with them others but nothing's happening.
Later at night...
Kevin's PDA started ringing which stirred him awake confused, "Huh...?" he takes it answering with a loud yawn, "Hello, this is Yuki Kevin..." He was so tired so he made that mistake in his name.
"Kevin they're gone!" Alexis's voice said waking him up. "The Spirit Keys are gone!"
"What?" Kevin looked shocked at that, "Did you all lose them in matches?"
"No, none of us have dueled anyone but I had a bad feeling and checked where I hid my key. It wasn't there, I messaged Jaden and he said the same thing." she answered. "I know she's not working with them but do you think Camula might know what's going on?"
Kevin at that turned over shaking Camula, "Cami, Cami wake up!"
Shifting slightly she slowly opened her eyes. "Kevin?"
"Alexis said the Spirit Keys are stolen!" Kevin explained.
Camula sat up in shock at that. "Kevin, do you remember what I told you about the remaining Shadow Riders?"
"You mentioned that Abidos, and Amnael are strongest while their are 2 that aren't." Kevin answered.
"Yes, and while I don't know much about Titan I do know about the others. The Dark Scorpions." Camula reminded him. "Better known as the Dark Scorpion Burglars. They're thieves."
"Do you mean, what I think you mean..." Kevin asked trailing off having a clear idea what's going on.
"If the keys were stolen, they were the ones who took them." Camula nodded.
"Did you hear all that Alexis?" Kevin asked her from his PDA.
"Yeah, I'll let everybody know." she answered.
Kevin turned to Camula standing up, "Come on Cami, we're meeting up at the Slifer Dorm."
She nodded. "Right."
Once they arrived they find everyone with the exception of Bastion, and Lilly probably cause Bastion will keep his sister safe from this are in Jaden's room discussing this chain of events.
"So these Dark Scorpions have the Spirit Keys?" Chazz asked in annoyance. "What now?"
"Not to worry." They looked to see Detective Zaloog has entered with Gorg, CK, Cliff, and Meanae, "I rounded up some possible suspects."
"You have?" Jaden asked. "Wait, them?"
"It's possible but we will get to the-" Detective Zaloog started only for him to freeze seeing Camula.
"Hello Zaloog, it's been a while." she mentioned with an icy stare.
"Wait you two know each other?" Jaden asked confused looking in between the two.
"Of course, I may have left them but I was a Shadow Rider if you recall Jaden." Camula mentioned. "Just like they are."
That made everyone look at them alarmed which made Detective Zaloog sighed, "So much for the big reveal... What she said was correct for we are...!"
The shed their disguises showing black sleeveless jumpsuits with black scorpion tattoos on their arms in poses, "The Dark Scorpions!"
"Where are they keys you creeps stole?" Chazz questioned.
"Right here." they dropped out where Zaloog holds up the keys they took, "We tried to use them the nice way by taking them but they weren't working, so we have to figure out how you kids know."
"The keys can only be earned by winning a duel." Kevin pointed out to him, "In short you, and your gang wasted precious time taking them instead of getting them fair, and square."
Hearing this Zaloog gave thought before saying, "No wonder they didn't work. We have to beat them in a duel first." He pulls out a Duel Disk with a smirk.
"Apologies for the delay, I had... what's going on?" Bastion inquired arriving with Lilly though he was holding her hand close.
"Another Shadow Rider tried taking the Spirit Keys by stealing them instead of winning them." Jaden explained to him at this, "Well now, we're just about to school them."
"So, who are you dueling?" Zane inquired staring at Don Zaloog.
"I'll take them this time." Kevin said to them stepping forward, "This should be easy."
"... Wait please."
Kevin turned over confused. Lilly was looking at him. "Bastion was teaching me and... I asked to come. Can I help you guys? I just took my medicine so I should be ok."
"Lilly?" Bastion asked hearing that.
"I want to help." she said turning to him. "You taught me how to duel remember?"
Kevin looked over to Camula, "Camula, is Don Zaloog someone she can handle?"
"He's the weakest of the Shadow Riders." she replied. "Assuming she's halfway talented at the game she should be able to win."
Kevin nodded before turning to Bastion, "Bastion this will be a Shadow Game, and your sister should be alright with them but it's your choice if she gets a shot."
She turned to him. "I want to help big brother."
Bastion looked to her before turning to Kevin who gave a small nod. Bastion closed his eyes before turning to Lilly, "Before I give my answer, let me tell you, you are about to embark in a Shadow Game where the pain from dueling becomes real. And also if you lose, you will lose your soul. Will you keep going?"
She looked slightly nervous but nodded. "You always do so much to help me... I want to do something to help you too."
"Alright. Then you can take this." Bastion nodded at this.
"Seriously? SERIOUSLY?" Don Zaloog laughed at this while Cliff, CK, and Cliff smirked while Meanae frowned a little before the leader laughed, "Your seriously placing a small shrimp like her against us? Whatever, this just makes getting those keys to work a hella lot easier!"
Outside...
With them outside they got ready in the night. The group was behind Lilly while the Dark Scorpions were on the other with Don Zaloog taking on the dueling with a smirk.

"That was the first combo I taught you." Bastion smiled. "You did wonderfully Lilly."
Kevin walks taking the keys before saying to Banner, Jaden, and Alexis, "Be best to keep these with you at all times."
"Right, we won't fall for that again Kevin." Jaden mentioned as the three of them took the keys.
"How many are left?" Chumley asked.
"Three." Kevin answered.
He then sighed, "Well we better get back to bed."
