Chapter 9: The Royal Explanation ~ Flashback Story
Part 3: The Unexpected Claim ~ The Black Lion's Spirit Enters

Within the Council Hall, the guards throw the Galra to the floor with his claws bound to his back. Shaking in pain, still couldn't find the strength to open his eyes to wake up. "Your majesty," one of the guards spoke. "We brought you the galra, just like you have asked."
"Good work," the voice belongs to the king. The man has gray hair with pale skin and cold blue eyes and stares at the galra coldly. He wears a royal black suit with a silver-gray cape, hiding his broken wings from one of his previous battles. He also wears dark navy-blue jeans, a pair of solid black boots, and a black belt. This man is the Duke-King of Heaven, a Celestial Being with two wings, King Duncan. The uncle of his nieces and concerned about their safety for them before giving his crown to his youngest niece for the future. King Ducan sat upon the throne, knowing the takes that he is ready to act. Around him is the high council, wearing white and platinum cloaks with hoods covering their heads and faces. They too stared at the galra but with curious eyes instead. "Did he bring out a fight?" King Duncan asked.
"No sir," the guard shook his head. "The galra is unconscious when we got there, so he did not fight back or anything. Just shakes in pain."
"I see," King Duncan stares at the Galra again. At least there is no mess to clean up. King Duncan sighed as he held his head up high. "Now, wake the galra up. Before we..."
"Stop!" a voice shouted in the room, he and the council turned to the entrance. There, stands the youngest princess with her sister and Dr. Albert behind her. "Do not harm that Galra," Violet demanded.
"Violet," King Duncan firm staring at his niece as his eyes started to warm up. "Twilight, Dr. Albert. What's the meaning of this?"
"You can't bring any creature that is not our being into the Court of the Council," Violet spoke as she nearly trembled. "Not since he did nothing wrong," then Dr. Albert went past his princess and went to the Galra's side.
He's still out of condition. Dr. Albert thought. At least he's still out for a while. Slowly but carefully, Dr. Albert began to untie the Galra.
"Have you lost your feathers, young Lady?" King Duncan spoke, "I can understand Twilight doing this, never you. Do you know any danger this is? This Galra has snuck into this palace..."
"I brought this Galra to the palace," Violet argued.
"What?" King Duncan jumped, then the Council Members remained silent.
Violet sighed as she began to explain her truth, "I saw his ship crash into the forest, and the forest did not burn along with him. I alone, I have gone to the forest and begun to investigate."
"Without Aurora by your side? No guards or Twilight's guardian?" One of the high councils asked her.
"I want to prove myself as a true heir to the throne, not by what my title has given me or stated me from birth," Violet spoke.
The council shrugged and nodded as they fully understand that trail.
"If I remind you," Violet continued. "The sacred law has stated that it those who have landed within our planet that is alive from another planet. They must hold a good soul or have redeemed themselves, they shall not be burned and punished. But welcomed. This galra is considered to possess a good soul and has not been harmed. And he is also alive, not dead."
The council muttered one another as they nodded for approval of the sacred law that has been given for many years.
"But he has a broken leg," King Duncan spoke. "How did that happen instead of being burned?"
"She found him that way!" both Twilight; showing light red eyes and Dr. Albert shouted.
"From my experience and a short examination," Dr. Albert spoke. "The galra was unconscious when our princess brought him here. And for that state, it looks like he was injured before the crash happened. But to the bump on the back of his head, he has a mild concussion around both when and after the crash occurred. So, there's no need to worry about it."
"Then why is he...?" King Duncan began to ask.
"I've been asked to help him and bring him to the safety of our palace," Violet answered. "And as a princess, I should not turn down a request."
"Who or what have asked you to do that, Violet?" King Duncan slightly growled at his niece.
"A Spirit of the Black Lion has asked me," Violet replied with a half lie.
"A Spirit of a Leon?" both Twilight; showing bright indigo in her eyes and King Duncan have asked.
The council remains silent. A Spirit of a Leon, they haven't heard that Guardian Spirit for many years. Now it has appeared from its deep slumber and absence.
"The spirit has stated that the galra is a Warrior of Good and he has a very good soul within him," Violet explained. "And the lion have wished me to help him the time he gets his strength back."
"Do you have any proof of that to make it true?" A familiar voice asked her, "Or should we know that you are hiding something."
"I'm not hiding anything, Aurora." Violet turned around and saw her guardian, Aurora. Standing like a mother figure that could not easily describe. "And it is the truth."
"With what proof," Aurora crossed her arms with the stare a mother would give to her child.
Violet remain silent for a moment as she began to worry. If I tell them who or what the Galra is... Violet thought in worry. It will expose the truth about Voltron being here. I couldn't tell them that, my uncle and the council won't believe me. Oh, what should I do? Suddenly, they heard the sound of dripping water has hit the ground. "Huh?" Violet turned to the center of the room. Seeing a light flickering within the room, suddenly, it started to take form.

The light has formed into a lion that is strangely a size of a Grizzly Bear. Its fur is black and white, decorated with jewelry that is gold and red rubies. Attached to its back as wings with feathers that are painted white and galaxy-like. Standing tall and protective, it stared at Violet. Violet gasped as she stared at its golden eyes. It's you. Violet thought as she nervously bowed. "I've brought him here as promised and he'll be in good hands."
The lion nodded as turn its head to the galra. Purring loudly as it sees that the Galra is indeed in good hands. Then turned to Violet's guardian, purring loudly with satisfaction.
Violet's guardian nearly blushed as she stared at the lion. Slowly, but study. The lion turned to the council and stare angrily at King Duncan.
The lion began to growl.
"Umm...nice kitty," King Duncan nervously spoke.
The lion roared. All at once, every area in the Council Hall has begun to shake.
