A month later before the meeting Ace, Tegan, Nyssa and Yaz are all out together. "Come on Ace, you need to try on this one." Tegan holds out a big white dress.

"I only want a simple one, I know this is my first marriage and all, but I don't need a big white dress. All I want is a simple dress."

"Oh come on Ace."

"Tegan, we are just having a simple wedding, I am having you three stand up with me, Graham is having Ryan and trying to decide on two others. We only want those who matter the most to us involved in the wedding. We are going to have a few more guests. We are probably going to see if someone we know can be an officiant."

"Try Kate."

With a big laugh, "So someone who is basically our boss." Ace grabs another dress and heads into the changing room with Tegan, her matron of honor helping her into it.

Ace turns around and Tegan just stands back silently, and pushes the curtain aside, she walks out to see everyone's jaws go to the floor. "Wow, Ace, that is the one."

"Really," she turns to the full length mirror to see how it hugs her curves and has a bit of blue in it, "Wow." Tears form in her eyes, "This is the one." She turns around to see Tegan and Nyssa taking a whole bunch of pictures. "Can't you guys wait for that until the wedding?"

"There will be a lot more pictures that night. You remember our wedding."

"I do, I was your maid of honor, and Neeka was Nyssa's.''

"Wait Neeka?"

"Did you not know Neeka was my daughter from my first marriage."

"No, I didn't."

"I wonder why, she told us on Christmas she started seeing you and we told her that we knew you."

"It probably slipped her mind."

"Please don't tell me how," Nyssa says remembering her little run around before she got trapped in E-Space.

"Or me," the stepmother in Tegan says, "I know I met her as an adult, but still."

"Or me, I know I am only like an aunt to her, but still no. Tegan, can you please help me get out of my dress?" Ace shouts from behind the curtain.

"Of course I can."

After Tegan and Ace go back to help her change. "How do you feel that Tegan is her matron?"

"I knew it was going to be her?"

"Yes, those two have been like sisters longer than I have been back here on earth."

"Oh."

"You know on a different day I will have to talk to you about your intentions with my daughter."

"I know."

"Just so you know I am happy for you."

"Thank you." Tegan and Ace come out and Ace goes up front to buy her dress. The other three meet her at the entrance of the store.

"So Ace, how does it feel to have your dress?"

"Good and our date we are thinking of late September or November."

"Why those two months."

"We met in September and said I love you in November."

"Why not go in between and do October?"

"I want him to be able to visit Grace's grave then."

"You really have a place for her don't you?"

"I do, she was special to Graham so she is special to me."

"What are you two planning to do on Monday? I noticed that you aren't scheduled to come into UNIT and Nyssa said you weren't coming into A Charitable Earth."

"Did he have another scare?"

Ace turns to Yaz, "No he didn't. He just likes to get check ups and I wanted to go with him."

"Good." Yaz relaxes. They arrive at Tegan and Nyssa's real quick so Ace can drop off her dress. After the dress is out into the closet they head to the meeting.

The four of them enter the room where they have all their meetings laughing. "I take it that the dress search went well?"

"You know, Graham will be happy with the dress she picked."

"I have no doubt about that Tegan," he smiles at Ace who sits next to him. Tegan and Nyssa take their seats next to Ace.

"Before we start, there is a family right there."

"What do you mean Ian?"

''We have the wives, who are sisters to the future married couple, who sometimes act like parents to Yaz."

"Even though Ryan isn't here today, he is my grandson."

"And I will be whatever Ryan is comfortable with."

"He won't call you Gran, but something else. He has appreciated all who have done to make sure Grace has a place with Graham still."

"Of course I would do that." Graham grabs her hand and kisses it, eyes sparkling. "You're welcome, now can we actually get to talking about some more of our adventures."

"How many of us have talked about our firsts?

Graham leans over "Are you sure you want to talk about yours," Ace nods her head yes.

"I suggest we go in order of companions here."

"Two of us will have the same story." Everyone laughs.

"It's a good thing that Ryan isn't here, because three of you would have the same story."

"I think it is a good idea that we go in order of meeting the Doctor too." Ace relaxes into her chair knowing she will be in the middle.

"At my first meeting he kidnapped Barbra and I. We were worried about Susan as she was saying everything we didn't understand because of her knowledge of the future. He took us to the Stone Age where I had to show cavemen to make fire. We were being held hostage. We did escape eventually though."

"I guess that makes me next, we must have no one from the one face in between." Jo laughs, "My first one was on earth in the year we met, the Autons. He didn't want another assistant. At the time he was stuck on earth trying to fix the Tardis."

Ace chimes in, "He definitely fixed it."

"After the Time Lords gave him what he needed after he did something they wanted. Who's next."

"That would be me," Nyssa starts to talk, Tegan knows how hard it is to talk about it sometimes, "The first I met the Doctor was our first adventure. It was also when I first met the Master. The Master ended up killing my father and until I snuck away I was keeper of Traken, because we found out that my stepmother who never liked me was working with him. Tegan, now it's your turn."

"Mine was on earth, the Master made his Tardis look like the Doctor's and caused him to regenerate. The Master shrunk my aunt. You guys already know most of that story from a previous meeting."

"I don't know if there is anyone before me. I didn't meet Peri, but I know she ended up being a queen somewhere. I knew she traveled with two of his faces. So did I, the one I met had curly blonde hair. He got me not long after graduating from University and took me to a planet that had problems with some of their thermal demitics and I am a specialist in that area. After that we had to do so much running." She looks towards Ace.

"I guess that is my que, I was 16 stuck on an alien planet when the Doctor, Mel and Glitz," she tries and fails to hold back anger while saying the last name, ''The group of us, even though Glitz thought there was no room for a feeble woman to go running with the Doctor. Mel and I did more than he did."

"You blew things up Ace."

"And it was wicked."

"I am so glad to see that there is still a part of you that hasn't changed, Ace." Ace just smiles in thanks.

"Who is next?"

"Mickey, you met the Doctor before I did."

"That one didn't like me. I didn't go on the Tardis at first, but when we first met, Rose was working in a shop and I was a mechanic. We also fought the Autons, one took on my looks."

"Martha dear, that makes you."

"Juddon kidnapped the hospital that I was finishing my education at. The Doctor posed as a patient. I was freaked out when I found his double heart beat. The person they were after drank human blood. To confuse the Judoon the Doctor kissed me. I can't believe I fell for him then."

"It took years of working for UNIT for me to meet him. It was number 11, during the year of the cubes. I kidnapped the Tardis. He was not happy at all. Walked him through. The Black Archive couldn't walk past a fez. I believe we have you to thank for their ever ending love for those hats." Ace sticks out her tongue at Kate, "I then showed him and his then companion Clara a painting of what turned out to be Galifrey. A time portal opened, then when he came back his 10th and an unnumbered one came back. This was the Doctor that fought during the Time War. We found out it was Zygons, and one of them after the Doctor didn't use The Moment stayed behind because she became good like Osgood. Though that wasn't the first time I had met him. I met him when UNIT and I burst into Amy and Rory's house when the earth was flooded with cubes."

"So your second time was with three of them, that is wicked."

"All of you have artifacts from your time with the Doctor. I can't really say more."

"I understand being the head of something as important as UNIT, you have to keep secrets."

"You have to keep secrets about your foundation?"

"Yes, only a few people know everything."

"One of them being Graham?"

"Yes Tegan, as my future husband he does know all. If something happens, he has to know."

Graham worriedly asked, "What do you mean if something happens?"

"With how some adults act with those they 'raised' one day something might happen with the help I do for those teens and kids."

"I hope nothing happens. I don't think I would be able to deal with something happening to you again."

"It's just a precaution. Can we talk about other things?"

Looking at his watch, Graham's eyes go wide, "we don't have much time left. Yaz while I am cleaning up why don't you tell them about our first meeting."

"They already know about ours." Graham gives her a look.

"Then we all can clean up together," Ace gets up from her chair. After they clean up Ace and Graham head to the car. "They know that we are both off on Monday."

''They do?"

"Yaz is worried."

"I know, a scare is why I left the TARDIS. Though this is not one, just a check up."

"I know, and I am glad you are going in for one."

"Me, too, and the fact I am not going alone."

"You never have to go alone to one of these again. Speaking of going to things alone, I forgot that I have an event coming up that has been on the books for a year, well it is every year."

"Ace, stop rambling. I would love to go, and every year."

"You will need a suit."

"I will pick one up, how about after my appointment we go pick up a suit."

"That is a good idea."
