Chapter 13: Meeting the Celestial Council ~ Keith's Explanation Story
Part 1

When Keith, Twilight, and Violet have entered the Council Chamber. It was quiet, at first. Suddenly, a man stepped forward before the lights turned on. "Welcome," he spoke with a near a hiss tone. "We have been waiting for you," suddenly, the lights lite up and Keith can finally see the council members in their seats. Ready to do their duty.
"Pleasure," Twilight bowed.
"Sorry to keep you waiting," Violet bowed.
"Apology accepted," King Duncan bowed his head.
"Keith," Violet turned to him. "This is our uncle, a Celestial Being that is a Bearer of Three Wings. Who is actual a Celestial Being that is a Great-Ancient Warrior of Heaven. He's also both Royal One and Ancient One, an Arch Angel to your knowledge. He is the King of Heaven, Duncan."
"Uhh...nice to meet you, your majesty." Keith bowed, nervously.
"Hmm, very well manners. Interesting," King Duncan nearly arched one of his brows.
If I haven't, Coran and Shiro lecture me. Keith thought as he nearly gulped. Along with a slap in the head by both Kolivan and my mother. Keith stood up. So, I better be careful while I'm here, or I'll be in deep trouble.
"Tell us, Galra." One of the council members spoke to him, "What's your name?"
"My name is Keith," Keith replied. "Keith Kogane."
"That's an odd name for a Galra," another council member spoke. "Including you having that type of name, it's very odd."
"Been there, done that before." Twilight shrugged as she crossed her arms.
"Twilight," Violet whispered in worry. "Please."
"Fine," Twilight whispered in defeat.
"That's because I was not born and raised in the Galra Community," Keith spoke. "I was born and raised outside of that community. Yes, I was born out of a galra. But my other parent lives on another planet. Or was, when I was little."
"What planet do you come from?" Another council member asked, "Where were you born and raised?"
"I was born and raised on a planet that is called Earth," Keith answered.
"Your other parent is an Earthling? A Tau'ri?" The same council member asked.
"Yes," Keith nodded, curiously.
"So you're a hybrid," King Duncan spoke. "A hybrid who walks and lives among the Tau'ri. A Galra hybrid who hides among their shadows before beginning to strike?"
"I didn't look like this back then," Keith protested. "I used to look like them, before discovering who I was and where my heritage come from. That was before I look like this now."
"I see," King Duncan raised a brow.
"So what community is your Galra parent from?" One of the council members asked.
"The Galra Community that my...other parent was from a rebellion group that is known as the Blade of Marmora." Keith replied, "That's where the galra community rebelled and fought against the Galran Empire. Their jobs are secret undercover work, spying, and taking notes to pass on to our leader to find ways to stop their scientific plans by using quintessence. Including we free the slaves in secret and stop conquering from other planets."
The council spoke to one another, with faces of impression that are well hidden behind their hoods.
"Big deal," Twilight spoke. Everyone remains silent, "He's probably lying to us."
"I'm not lying," Keith protested. "It is the truth."
Twilight huffed, "If you are, you're probably distracting us while you are leading Zarcon and his troops right towards us." Twilight growled as her eyes turned red.
"I would never do that," Keith shook his head. "And how did you know that tyrants name?"
"Because of your kind," Twilight's eyes turned blood red. "They have nearly destroyed the purpose of what we are supposed to do and exposed us to who we are. We couldn't go out into the field, heck, we could no longer go out of our planet. It's all because of your stupid war! With that mess, there is no one else on any planet to guide us whenever we tried to go out. Now we're stuck here while you are leading your troops or allies right to us, heck, I bet you took something to trick the forest that you are good. And I doubt that."
The council nearly gasp as they nearly began to panic.
Oh, sister... Violet thought sadly. If only you knew.
Keith sneakered as she burst into laughter, holding his sides to stay on his feet.
"What?" Twilight growled, "What is so funny?"
"I'm sorry," Keith lightly laughed. "I cannot believe that you are blinded by pride and don't know the whole truth. Man, guess that you guys didn't hear the news from the outside of your planet."
"What are you talking about?" Twilight arched one of her brows as her eyes showed the colors of red and hazel.
Keith slowly stops laughing. Began to regain her breath as he stood up. "The war, it's over," Keith answered.
"What?" Twilight's eyes turned indigo.
"The 10,000-year-old war and Zarcon's tyranny, it's over." Keith spoke, "There is peace within the galaxy for over two years now."
"Wait, what?" Twilight jumped as her eyes showed indigo and hazel. "Are you saying that there is peace within the galaxy? Like right now?"
"With new democracy?" Violet asked.
"Yup," Keith nodded.
"B-but…but what about Zarcon?" Twilight asked as her eyes turned indigo and light brown, "Is he…?"
"Zarcon is dead," Keith answered. "He was slain by his son, Lotor."
"Zarcon have a son?" Twilight's eyes turned bright indigo and hazel.
"Never knew that he has a son," Violet nearly rubbed her chin. "Or neither or never heard that he's married."
"He was married with an unexpected child before being possessed by dark quintessence," Keith held his growl. "Then we have to defeat Lotor because he was corrupted with power and secrets that he kept from everyone. Including that his brain was so messed up, he used the surviving Descendants of Alteans for their quintessence to have that power. Including he used one of my closest friends for the new battle structure. We had to make a choice, live underneath his rule or defeat him. With our choice, Lotor was too defeated."
"Ouch," Twilight winced.
"Then there was another war," Keith continued.
"Against who and what?" King Duncan asked.
"Against Lotor's mother, Honerva." Keith answered, "Who was Zarcon's wife and have been disguised herself as a Duine after she has lost her memories. After she regain them, she vowed to avenge her family by using the Descendants of the Alteans. Using both dark and light quintessence, she can easily enter many realities and destroy them."
"Why would she do that?" Violet asked.
"Because she has failed to achieve the goal that she desires," Keith answered. "To be in a perfect reality to be with her family. In a place that has no war or any quintessence to be corrupted with, she would have found peace. But failed when it was slowly destroyed and fades away while she was there. In revenge, she decided if she would have that perfect reality. No one would. So, she began to destroy the thread of each reality that she found."
"That explains it," Twilight realized as her eyes turned pearl white.
"Explain what?" Keith asked.
"A few years ago," Twilight began. "Everyone in Heaven has felt a strange feeling that would almost tear us apart. Including Violet, she had almost disappeared while our kingdom began to turn into ruins. We don't know the cause of it until the destruction just suddenly happened."
"Not only our planet," King Duncan added. "The sister planet, Pit. The fallen have felt it too as their home has started slowly turned to dust."
"When the realities are being destroyed," Keith's eyes widened. "Your lives have been connected to it."
"That's right," one of the council members nodded.
The rest of the council members began to mutter one another.
"From that destruction," Twilight sighed. "It would have caused our lives and the planets, including Violet's."
"It had felt like the apocalypse have started all over again," Violet spoke with her arms around her, trying to calm herself. "But…suddenly, I have felt it has halted for some reason. Do you know the reason why Keith?"
"I think that I do," Keith nodded.
"Then what is it?" Violet becomes curious.
"If I remember right," Keith rubbed his head. "There was a last strand of reality left, Honerva began to realize that she was spreading her misery towards others and began to feel her pain. Honerva wanted to redeem herself by fixing every reality with her gifts of quintessence. But not alone, she had been helped by the last Royal Bloodline of the Altean people. The Last Princess of Altea...the Princess of Galaxy...the Voice of Reason, Peace, Hope...both Pilot, a Warrior...Princess and she is a very good friend to all. Princess Allura." Keith's throat almost become dry with sadness. "Both Allura and Honerva use their gifts to repair every reality that has been destroyed and earned a new start for all planets to enjoy. New hope and peace within the galaxy have begun."
"That would have explained how I got stronger and better," Violet spoke. "Because the damage had been repaired."
"Including both of our planets," Twilight added.
"A true sacrifice and redemption," one of the council members spoke. "The souls of True will earn and gain new life to the end."
"Amen," all council members spoke in calm voices.
"Galra," King Duncan spoke.
Keith's right ear flicked, "Yes?" Keith replied.
"How did you know all this?" King Duncan asked.
"I was there, during and within the times of the war." Keith answered with half-lie, "And a friend of mine has told me about the rest at the end."
"I see," King Duncan narrowed her eyes.
"So there is no more war?" one of the council members asked, "No Galra Empire or Emperor conquering other planets? No more slavery towards other planets?"
"All of that events are gone now," Keith replied. "There's only trust, hope, peace, and great alliance that forges friendship to many planets. All that events have been living within the galaxy for the past few years now."
"So that means…our people can finally go out," Violet smiled.
"We can finally guide our clients once again," Twilight's eyes turned bright yellow. "Yes!" Twilight jumped up and down for joy.
