A month later and I return. Sorry for the wait. In July I had to finish exams and I spent most of August on vacation, not to mention I was writing other things.
Usually I would comment on reviews, but im seeing something here that needs to be addressed: the Enterror deck.
No, Noa will not use the Enterror Deck, for several reasons:
A) I already have some ideas for his deck and the Enterror deck would destroy the synergy.
B) I'm still not sure on the existence of Enterror. There are so many 'Entertainment' decks (Gimmick Puppet, Abyss Actors, Entermage, Entermate for Yuya and Yusho), so adding a new one with more unique cards would be a bit more difficult. Not to mention we already have a bit of an 'evil' Entermate with the Ghostrick, which I tried to write a different story with it. I have also tried creating the entire Deck before properly using it, so even if I used it, it would take a while.
C) As you know, I'm prone to write multiple stories and not update them and im trying to change that. Between the previous chapter and this one, I have gone through multiple stories ideas, one of which include Enterror. So, I'm still trying to use it in different stories. Of course, I have a rule to not post any new stories until I write their tenth chapter, so don't worry.
Without further ado, let's return to the story.
I decided to wake up early and make breakfast. As I did, my mind began to wander, like… why am I here? And not in a philosophical way like 'What is my purpose?'. I mean why was I literally brought into the world of Arc-V by Zarc.
The means don't really matter, since it was possible to split the dimensions and all the crazy things this anime has done, it's not too far-fetched to believe it's possible to bring someone from a different world/dimension.
But what reason did Zarc have for bringing me here? In the anime, he, or in this case she, revives without an issue. Unless Zarc knew she was going to be defeated again and brought me here to prevent that, I don't see any reason to bring someone new into the fray.
Did something happen that was different from the anime that made Zarc feel the need to bring someone else? Or was it to make sure nothing went wrong?
I sighed. "Guess these are one of the things I will find out as the plot progresses…" I muttered before I looked out the window and saw-
"Teacher!"
-Sora with his face smashed up against the window.
I chuckled and merely opened the door, allowing him to enter. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "As a matter of fact, how did you know where I lived?"
"I followed you!" Sora said.
Wow, stalker much?
"Okaaaaay." I said, not sure how to respond. "And what do you want?"
Sora gave me a pout, "I was hoping today you would teach me Pendulum Summon." he confessed.
I smiled at him, "Oh wouldn't it be better to learn from the Pioneer of the Summoning Method, instead? Why did you choose me?" I enquire about him.
"Because Teacher's Pendulum Summon in that Duel electrified me. That Pendulum Summon was incredible." Sora tells me.
I chuckled at Sora's cheery attitude, "All right, tell you what. We'll get something to eat then maybe we can duel. How does that sound?" I asked Sora.
"And you'll teach me how to Pendulum Summon?" Sora asks.
I shrugged lightly, "Well, you do need Pendulum Cards to Pendulum Summon." I told him.
Sora pouts slightly "Then I'll just have Teacher show me again." he says with a grin.
"Also, call me Senpai. Teacher makes me sound old." I said with a wave from my hand.
"Hai, Senpai."
I chuckled, "Also, Pendulum isn't my main Summon Method for my deck." I tell him
Sora tilts his head curiously, "Then what is?" he asked curiously.
"Well, one of them is Xyz." I confessed.
A look of disgust flashes over Sora's face too quickly for anyone not looking to notice if they weren't expecting it. "Fusion is better Xyz is a weak Summ-OW!" Sora begins to say before I pile drive my fist into his head, "What was that for Senpai?" he asks, rubbing his sore head.
"Sit down." I tell Sora pointing at the table in front of me.
"But.." Sora pouts at being scolded.
"Now, Kohai." I say in a firm tone.
"All right." Sora says with a pout sitting down as I take a seat next to him.
I put my hand on his shoulder, "Sora it's okay to have a favorite Summoning Method. I'll admit that while I use Xyz in my deck it was just fate that I had it, I don't have a favorite Summoning Method." I told him.
Sora frowns, confused, "B.."
I hold up my hand to stop his retort, "I'm not saying having a favorite or a preferred method is bad, that's fine." I say pulling out a poxy box from thin air and opening it and holding out one of the sticks to Sora as he takes it, "But when you see something as trash and ignore its potential, every other Duelist who would learn and accept those methods would grow stronger than you over time." I tell him, biting the Poxy.
"I don't get it." Sora says, confused.
"Yeah I admit I'm not good at explaining philosophical things in words plus this is something that's best learned by experience." I told him.
A grin spreads across Sora's Face, "All right Tea…"
I give him a look.
"Senpai." Sora says, bashfully.
I chuckled at him.
"Yosh lets do it." Sora says pulling out his Duel Disk
I put my hand on the Duel Disk and pushed it down.
"But aren't we gonna Duel?" Sora asks me, confused.
"Sora, there are three reasons why we aren't dueling right away." I said, raising a finger to prove my point. "1. It's 6AM and I haven't even had breakfast. I would like to have a full stomach before a duel and actually duel at proper hours. 2. I would like to have an audience, so we should duel at You Show with the others. 3. We are currently in an apartment complex where I'm living rent-free and I'm not gonna risk it with a duel. Not to mention Yuya is still asleep and I do not want to test her patience."
"Fine." Sora said, pouting.
"So how about you eat something and leave?" I asked. "I don't think Yuya would be happy if she found you here."
Sora nodded and I gave him some pancakes. After he ate, he left.
"What's all the ruckus?" I heard a sound coming from the hallway. I turned around and saw Yuya in her PJs.
"Nothing, I was just making breakfast." I said, trying hard not to stare at her. She was kind of cute the way how casual she looked.
"Oh…" Yuya said, oblivious of me. "You didn't have to do that."
"Nonsense, you're letting me stay here. It's the least I could do." I answered.
"Okay then." She said, looking at the food on the table and smelling it. "Wow, everything looks so good!"
I chuckled. "Not to brag, but I'm a pretty good cook."
We ate our breakfast and Yuya left for school.
"Okay, maybe I should have made Sora duel me early..."
I was now in You Show sitting on the couch. I was thinking of taking a nap, but Shuzo had other plans and basically forced me to clean the bathrooms. If I wasn't living rent-free in Yuya's place, I would have thrown that bucket on his head and shoved that broom where the sun doesn't shine.
I heard the elevator door open and the group appeared alongside Sora.
"Hello, Senpai!" Sora greeted me.
"Oh thank Ra..." I muttered, getting up. "Yuzu, your old man is a real pain in my..." I looked at the kids before shaking my head. "If I have to clean one more toilet, I'm going to scream."
"Yeah, sorry about that." Yuzu apologized, rubbing the back of her neck. "Anyways, Sora told me you two were going to duel."
"Yeah, let's go." I said, basically dragging Sora along. I had some pent up anger.
Sora and I faced each other on the field while Yuzu, Yuya and the kids watched from the sidelines and Shuzo was in the control room. I blinked. When did he get there?
"Alright, let's get this Duel started! Action Field On!" Shuzo pressed a button the control panel. "Field Magic: Sweets Island!" The Solid Vision machine activated and it produced an island full of every kind of sweets in the world. From cake to pudding to ice cream, it was every kid's paradise.
Wait, didn't anime create some sort of Wild West Field first? Why did it immediately switch to this one? Is this what they call a butterfly effect?
"This is amazing!" Sora jumped around. "Thank you, sir!"
"He's so cute." Shuzo gushed.
"The duelists meet at the battlefield!" Yuzu begins the chant.
"Along with their monsters..." Tatsuya continued
"they'll kick the ground and fly through the sky…" Futoshi continued.
"to Move around the field!" Ayu added.
"Witness dueling's greatest evolution, Action…" Yuya finishes
"DUEL!"
Noa: 4000 LP
Sora: 4000 LP
"My turn." I say looking at my hand. "I summon Purple Poison Magician." A magician with purple and green robes and holding a whip appeared.

"I set one card face-down and end my turn." I stated.
"But I wanted to see Pendulum Summon." Sora pouted.
"Patience, little one." I said.
"All right. My turn Senpai. I draw!" Sora says, picking up his card and looking at his hand, "I activate the Continuous Spell Toy Vendor." Sora says as a gachapon machine appeared behind him. "Next, by discarding a card, I can draw a card and if it's a Level 4 or lower monster I can summon it. Come on." he says, grasping the top card of his deck, "Draw!" he says, picking up the top card of his deck.
"Did he get it?" I wondered.
"Yosh, I drew Furnimal Bear, so I summon it!" Sora says placing the card down, a stuffed pink bear with wings appearing.

"Not bad." I say to Sora.
"I'm not done. I summon Furnimal Leo!" He said as a stuffed lion with wings appeared as well.
(LV:4 Fairy/Effect/Light ATK: 1600 DEF: 1200)
"Using his Continuous Magic's effect, he got two monsters out already." Shuzo observed.
"This kid might be stronger than we thought." Yuzu said.
"But those monsters…" Ayu smiled.
"Are so cute!" Yuzu and Ayu gushed.
Yuya sweatdropped next to them. "I prefer Noa monsters..." She muttered.
"Battle! Furnimal Leo attacks your Purple Poison Magician!" Sora said as his monster jumped at mine.
"I chain my trap, Scrap-Iron Scarecrow." I said as the monster was stopped by a metal scarecrow appearing. "I negate your attack and this card is set face-down once again."
"Furnimal Bear has the same ATK, so I'm not going to risk it." Sora said. "I end my turn."
"My turn! Draw!" I say, drawing my card. This duel was a bit more tricky. I had to show that Pendulum monsters were sent to the Extra Deck when destroyed and I had to let Sora Fusion Summon. Meaning I can't exactly go all out. "Guess it's time to start with our main act!"
"Is it coming?!" Sora asked on top of a candy house he climbed with his monsters. Woah, was I really that lost in my thoughts? Anyway...
"I, using the Scale 1 Odd-Eyes Mirage Dragon and the Scale 8 Odd-Eyes Persona Dragon, set the Pendulum Scale!" I said as my monsters appeared. "With these, I can now summon Monsters between Level 2 and 7 at the same time."
"Cry of my soul, surge across time and space and resonate to those sleeping in the fifth! PENDULUM SUMMON, Come forth, my allies!" I chant out as the Pendulum Gate opens as two surges of light hit the field, "Doomstar Magician and the dichromatic eyes from the Underworld, Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon!" My dragon appeared along a magician in dark robes with shiny ornaments.

"Battle! Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon attacks Furnimal Leo!" Phantom Strike Burst!" I said as Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon fired a blue beam, destroying his monster.
Sora: 4000 - 900 = 3100 LP
"Doomstar Magician attacks Furnimal Bear!" I said as my next monster attacked.
"I activate the Action Magic: Candy Shower!" Sora says as a shower of candy literally fell on my monster, crushing him. He seemed unharmed as he quickly got out of the pile in shame. "This changes your monster to Defense Mode."
"I end." I say, finishing my turn.
"So cool!" Sora said on top of the mountain. "Your Pendulum Monsters are amazing, but I'll show you something much better! My turn! Draw!" He looked at the card he drew. "Since I drew this, it means…it's time for my deck to show its true strength."
"What? He has been holding back?!" Yuya asked from the stands
"Bring it, Kouhai." I said.
"First, I use Toy Pot's effect!" Sora discarded a card from his hand and drew another card. "I Special Summon the Level 3 Edge-Imp Scissors!" A pair of multiple scissors with demon eyes appeared.
(LV:3 Fiend/Effect/Dark ATK: 1200 DEF: 800)
"And now, I activate the Magic Card: Fusion, from my hand!" Sora revealed the card he drew on his Draw Phase.
"Fusion!" Yuya said, her eyes widened.
"I fuse Edge-Imp Scissors and Furnimal Bear!" A colorful vortex appeared behind Sora and both Furnimal Bear and Edge-Imp Scissors entered it.
"Claws of the demon! Fangs of the beast! Become one and reveal a new form and power! Fusion Summon! Appear, horrifying beast that shreds everything! Death-toy Scissors Bear!" The cute Furnimal Bear had now become a demonic bear with scissor blades sticking out of his stomach.
(LV:6 Fiend/Fusion/Effect/Dark ATK: 2200 DEF: 1800)
"H-Hey, what is this?" Futoshi asked.
"Fusion. He combined both his monsters together to call out a more powerful monster from his Extra Deck!" Tatsuya was getting excited.
"So, that's a Fusion Monster." Yuzu was getting disturbed from seeing this new monster.
"I'm scared, Big Sis!" Ayu hugged Yuzu in fear.
"Awesome!" Futoshi smiled.
"It's the first time I've seen one!" Tatsuya got excited.
"Now, Senpai. Let me show you how powerful Fusion is." Sora said with confidence
I smirked. If he wants to see how powerful Fusion was…
I heard a roar and in my mind, the image of a purple dragon appeared.
…I'll show him just how terrifying it could be.
So I decided to split this duel, due to it being very long. Next chapter we have the rest of the duel.
