My Third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry did not start off well. Just on the trip to school I had an unpleasant interaction with a Dementor of Azakaban, which made me hear my fathers last moments and dying at the hands of Lord Voldemort. Something that carried more fear for me now that I knew it was real and not a dream. I then learned that Dementors were stationed around the school for its protection from Sirius Black, a mass murderer that had escaped Azkaban and most likely wanted to kill Harry for nearly destroying Voldemort as a baby, and myself for being the child of a traitor to Voldemort. This meant I would most likely relive my fathers death over and over again.

The trend of this year sucking continued on our first day of classes, as first off was Divination, and our teacher for the class, Professor Trelawney, was quite the oddball. Making outlandish predictions right off the bat, including one of our number leaving us forever around easter. Our first task had been to partner up. Harry and Ron partnered up, and Hermione and I did the same. I read her tea leaves first "Well uh... looks like an arrow... pointed down... that means.. Like.. Wrong direction or focus... and uh.. Damn looks like Harry's glasses underneath.. Which means uh... Education and learning... so I guess you are unfocused in your education.. Or maybe are about to me shot in the eye and need glasses?" Her lips pursed and I quickly said "Or something completely different!" She then focused on my tea leaves and flipped through her textbook and said "Well this is a butterfly.. Its got to be, which means.. Transformation.. Or major change.. And that has to be a Lock.. Which just says obstacles here.. Utterly ridiculous, what does that mean? You will have obstacles during your transformation?" she rolled her eyes. I took a quick glance "Ha! That looks like our house crest.." She flipped through her book "I uh.. Didn't notice that... but the book says it means influential friends.. Well that might actually be accurate.. Harry is our friend after all." I chuckled at that.. Until Trelawney proclaimed that Harry's cup had the Grim.. A black dog of death.. Omen of sorts. SO she basically ended the class saying my best friend was going to die.

So that was on our mind during the next class, Transfiguration. The subject of the class being Animagi.. Witches and Wizards who could turn into animals and back at will. I tried my best to pay attention as that was a very interesting concept.. But I couldn't fully pay attention to the lesson since I was focused on Harry's omen. Normally I wouldn't worry about a death omen but seeing as we knew Sirius Black was after Harry.. It was scary. McGonagall demonstrated her animagus form and back and the class didn't react much (Of course she also did the same thing in our first Transfiguration class so the surprise wasn't there this time.) She then said "Really what is with you all today. Not that it matters, but my transformation is usually greeted with applause. " Hermione then explained we had our first Divination class, and McGonagall cut her off "I see, no need to say any more Miss Granger. Tell me, who is going to die this year." Harry raised his hand. "Me." She then nodded "Ahh.. We rest assured, Professor Trelawney has predicted the death of a student every year since she started. I think it is her way of greeting a new class. None of those students have perished. Divination is a very imprecise form of magic, and is incorrect more than correct. So forgive me Mr Potter, but you look in excellent health So I will insist you still do the homework tonight. However rest assured if you die you need not hand it in." He smiled somewhat "Thank you Professor" She nodded "Very well, let us get back to the topic at hand.. Now an Animagi can take many forms.. From a Rat to a Lion.." The rest of the lesson I paid attention, now having a least a little peace of mind.

After Lunch we had our first Care of Magical Creatures lesson, which we were excited for since Hagrid was the one to teach it. However I had to admit I was a bit nervous as well.. Not that Hagrid didn't know his creatures because he knew them better than anyone I knew.. Perhaps even Dumbledore himself, but because he underestimated the...danger... of these creatures. He did name a giant 3 headed dog "Fluffy", plus tried to raise a dragon in his wood hut.. AND sent 3 2nd years after a Giant man eating spider.. And most of those instances almost ended in our deaths. Hopefully nothing of the sort would happen during Hagrids first class.

Hagrid greeting the class, which consisted of the Gryffindors and the Slytherins. He then lead us into the Forbidden Forest, which got my heart racing.. Not because I was afraid of the forest and I had been in the darn thing and night twice now so day time did not scare me. However it was because the forest tended to carrying dangerous creatures. He then lead us to a pasture where I saw the weirdest creatures of my life. Almost like a Griffin from myths (Which I guess was based on magical fact) but backwards, the back half a horse and front half an eagle. "Hippogriffs, Beaut'ful Aren' they?" He then wanted someone to attempt to pet the Hippogriff, and Harry volunteered first. Harry earned the Hippogriff (Buckbeak)'s respect, and was allowed to pet the creature.. And even ride him. After that the class got to try on different Hippogriffs. Malfoy, Crabbe and Goyle made for Buckbeak so I decided it was best for Hagrid's first lesson if I joined them to ensure they didn't muck anything up. Malfoy of course drawled "I'm shocked you are so quick to do this Shuter.. I expected you to have run out of the forest with crying for mommy." I scowled at him and said "You mean like you almost did? 'The forest? we can't go in there, there are werewolves and such!'" I put a quiver and high pitch in my voice, mimicking what he sounded like a little over a year before when we served detention with Hagrid together. I then said "I'll go first, don't want you traumitizing Buckbeak with your drivel."

I then walked forward to stand in front of the creature and he looked at me curiously. I then bowed my head, keeping my eyes on his front claws so I could see if he either bowed or made to attack me. I didn't dare move until I saw him bow his head. I then stood up straight and approached the hippogiff slowly. I then began to pet him. I then whispered "Whos a good hippogriff? Buckbeak is!" Malfoy then drawled "Well now that Shuter has completed this simple task, I feel totally safe in doing it. Out of the way Shuter." I sighed and whipsered "I'm sorry" I then backed up and let Malfoy take his turn. Which he did well until he said "This was easy, it had to be if Potter and Shuter could do it, you are not dangerous at all are you you big ugle brute." I saw Buckbeak's eyes widden as he then swiped at Malfoy, getting his arm. Malfoy yelled out in pain and fell back, rolling yelling "He's killed me He's killed me" I then rushed forward and stood in front of Malfoy Saying "Woah! Woah Buckbeak!" I then knew I had to do something to regain his trust so I bowed my head and held my hand out, showing blind trust. Buckbeak calmed down and pressed his beak into my hand. I then lead him back to his collar and buckled him him saying soothingly "I'm sorry.." Hagrid then took Malfoy to the hospital wing, most of the Gryffindors defended Hagrid to the Slytherins.. However it wasn't looking good that Hagrid was going to keep his job. The First day back was just as bad as the trip to school. This Year really wasn't looking good for me.. The only plus side was no Dementors today.

Malfoy didn't return to classes until later that week. Where he blatently admitted to us that he was milking the injury to get Hagrid sacked. It hadn't worked so far.. But it also meant he could get other people to do most of his school work for him. There had also been a Sirius Black sighting not far from Hogwarts.. Just a few towns over, which made me nervous. It seemed he was coming from Harry and I.. And he had already slipped past the Dementors once. How I don't know.. But it was still a sobering thought. Plus with Harry's Grim, it did not bode well indeed. Hermione also seemed to have learned to disaperate early since she seemed to be in two places at once a lot, considering she had been able to attend all her classes somehow despite being double booked.

The best class we had was Defense Against the Dark Arts. While the class had fasinated me in first year, I had dreaded it in second year since we learned nothing. This year Professor Lupin started the year with a practical lesson. We had never had one. So this was exciting. It even involved a field trip of sorts to the Staff room. Professor Lupin was pretty cool considering he took the time to mess with Peeves on the way, using a spell to send some gum he had stuck in Filch's broom cupboard up Peeve's left nostril. Our mood was only slightly soured when Snape was in the Staff room "In case you weren't aware, Neville Longbottom is in your class. I would advise you not to entrust him with any difficult task, unless of course Miss Granger or Mr Shuter is there to do it for him." Snape drawled. Lupin simply raised an eyebrow "Well I was actually hoping for Neville's assistance for the first stage of this operation." Neville went beat red and came forward. I grinned. Lupin stood up to Snape AND EVEN got the better of him.. I was going to like this Professor.

He then began to instruct us on a Boggart. The creature which as a self defense mechanism would turn into the person it was encountering's worst fear. I then wondered, what would my worst fear be? Voldemort was the obvious answer, but I had never really faced him down except for in the Mirror room at the end of my first year at Hogwarts. Perhaps my old friends, insulting me and calling me a liar? Was I about to face Robert.. Or Meghan.. Or even Jack (Although Jack didn't scare me.. Never really did.) But then I of course thought to the train.. The dream.. The fear of that dream.. Hearing my father's last words.. The father I had believed was evil who turned out to be good all along.. Who was righting the wrongs he committed under Dumbledore's order by sacrificing his life to save the Potters.. Total strangers to him.. Perhaps the Dementor is what I truly feared.

I then began to think of how I could make a Dementor less frightening. Maybe making the cloak have pokadots.. Or give it some kind of weird feather costume as Neville had given Snape.. But honestly I didn't know how to make them funny.. And I had to do Something with the Riddikulus spell. I also was running out of time. I watched as each person faced their worst fears and turned it into something funny. A snake into a jack in the box, giving an acromantula rollar blades.. And then it was my turn, I stoodin front of the Boggart, picturing a Dementor doing jazz hands and dancing and then the Boggart appeared.. And immediately I heard "You have no more tricks. I shall now kill Harry Potter and his family! What you tried to stop" I stumbled back at Voldemorts words, raising my wand, shutting my eyes to try and shut out the sound "You shall not live forever. One day you shall die, and I.. Shall have my dignity back!" "...Dad.." I murmured, trying to fight past the wave of nausea hearing those words again knowing the true meaning behind them. Lupin then stood in front of me yelling "Here!" The Boggart changed in silver white orb of sorts. He then said "Riddikulus!" He then lightly pushed me, and then Harry back saying "Finish it off Neville!" Neville gave Boggart Snape his dress back then puff went the Boggart. Lupin smiled "Good job everyone. Facing ones fears is one of the hardest things we all have to do. I say 5 points a piece for everyone who faced the boggart, David included. 10 for Neville since he did it twice.. And 5 a piece for Harry and Hermione." Harry and I left that class feeling as if we didn't earn those points.

The next month was pretty uneventful. Defense against the dark arts became my favourite subject, seeing as Professor Lupin was actually hands on in his teaching. Divination and Care of Magical creatures became bland.. And Ancient Runes was just difficult. I should have realized that after hating French Immersion that Ancient Runes would not be my subject, but the lure of possibly finding old forgotten spells had gotten the better of me. What had surprised me though, is that Oliver Wood waited until October to start training for Qudditch. Perhaps after getting such an early start last year to have it amount to nothing discouraged him which is why he waited until a little over a month out from out first game with Slytherin. That theory went out the window at our first practice however.

"This is our last chance, MY last chance, to win the Quidditch cup. I'll be leaving at the end of the year, I'll never get another shot at it. Gryffindor hasn't won the cup in 7 long years. Ok, so we have had the worst luck in the world, injuries.. Matches getting cancelled.. But we also know that we have got the best-ruddy-team-in-the-school! We've got three superb chasers, one on the fastest broom in the school.." Katie, Angelina and I smiled at eachother "Two Unbeatable beaters.." Fred cut him off saying "Stop it Oliver, you are embarrassing us" Oliver cleared his throat before continuing "And we've got a seeker who has NEVER failed to win us a match... and we've got me" George smiled "We think you are very good too Oliver" Fred grinned "Cracking Keeper" I chuckled. Oliver looked at them before saying "The Quidditch cup should have had our name on it the past two years. Since Harry joined the team, I thought we had it in the bag. But we haven't got it. So this year is our last chance to see our names on the thing." He did sound a little defeated. So Fred said "Oliver, this year is our year." "We'll do it Oliver" Followed up Angelina. Harry nodded "Absolutely" I nodded as well "I've been researching plays all summer Oliver, we'll deliver you that cup!" And with that determination we practices hard and with enthusiasm. This would be our year.. The year I could join my father by having my name on a Quidditch cup as a Gryffindor Chaser.

The other exciting thing that was going to happen in October was on Halloween was to be our first Hogsmede trip. The sad thing was Harry could not join us, since his Aunt and Uncle hadn't signed his permission slip, and McGonagall wouldn't make an exception, most likely due to Black being on the loose and wanting to kill Harry. I almost did not get to go as well, when I handed in my permission slip, McGonagall looked at it and said "Ahh, yes. Given the current situation, Mr Shuter, I do believe it is not a wise decision for you to leave the castle." I looked at her and pleaded "But Professor, My Mom signed the form. You just told Harry a signed form allows for going to the village. I have my signed form right here! That's the rule, right?" I could not tell if she was angry, flabergasted, impressed or proud. She simply said "Very well Mr Shuter, however if there are any issues, of the kind I am sure you are aware of, there will be no further trips to Hogsmede. At least until things have returned to normal, understood?" I nodded "Understood Professor, thank you!"

The trip to the Village was interesting. Save for Diagon Alley and Hogwarts I had never been to a fully wizarding location. It was nice to see wizarding folk not having to hide.. And I couldn't help but think THIS would have been my life if my father had not been killed by Voldemort.. If Dumbledore hadn't sent him to play double agent.. Of course then I probably wouldn't have the same appreciation I have for magic, so positives and negatives to both possibilities.

Ron, Hermione and I spent the day exploring the village, from Zonkos, to huneydukes. Ron really liked Zonkos, and I had to admit there was some cool stuff that could come in handy if I decided to get back to my rule breaking ways, however since there was no need to break rules this year I figured I had no need for them. At Honeydukes I made sure to buy as much candy as we could carry so we could munch out with Harry tonight after the feast. We finished off our trip in Hogsemede by going to the Three broomsticks, a pub of sorts, but one who served child friendly drinks, even though a "butterbeer" did not sound child friendly at all. Hermione and I were both hesitant to drink it in the moment, until Ron told us "Oh yeah, these are the best. I've only had the canned versions when mum and dad could afford to get us some. I hear Madam Rosmerta adds something to her brew to make it even better." Hermione looked at me "I guess it is like rootbeer? No alcohol content?" I nodded "I mean.. Considering in the wizarding world we are considered of age at 17.. They might allow for some alcohol.. However I won't tell your parents if you don't tell my mom." I smirked at her, she furrowed her brow "But your mum is so sweet... alright.. In the spirit of our first trip to hogsmede" She then raised her glass and I clinked it with mine before taking a sip. It was sweet.. A soft butterscotch taste to it.. But not so in your face with the taste. It seemed to warm your insides too. I grinned "This almost beats Dr Pepper right here!" The three of us then began to joke around and laugh, however not as loud as we might have without Harry there.

When we got back to the castle we found out Harry had spent some time with Professor Lupin, and apparently Snape gave Lupin a potion which he drank, so we then began to speculate whether Snape would poison Lupin, and I was of the same stance as Hermione having said "Yeah, there is no way Snape would try such a thing in front of a student.. Or with Dumbledore in the store. I mean its basic detective work, who has motive, Snape and Snape only. Like I doubt anyone like Sirius Black could get past the Dementors to murder our Defense against the dark arts teacher." Of course I pretty much had to eat my words as after the feast we returned to the Gryffindor tower to find the Fat Lady gone, and her portrait cut up, and Peeves having told us Sirius Black had tried to get into the tower. Dumbledore had all of us sleeping in the great hall that night, and I had to admit, I was beginning to get a little scared.. Sirius Black had been in the castle, trying to get into the tower probably to ambush Harry and I after the feast. At least that night we had a group of Professors to protect us... but we weren't about to spend the rest of the year sleeping the great hall.. So it was probably a matter of time before Black caught up with us.

Of course after all this, It became hard to have alone time ,as Professors found excuses to walk with Harry and I everywhere, and Percy (who Harry and I expected was acting on his mothers orders) began following us everywhere like a pompus guard doh. In fact one day Professor McGonagall called us both into her office one day to say "There's no point in hiding this anymore Potter, Shuter. I know this may come as a shock to you, but Sirius Black-" Harry cut her off saying "I know he's after me, I heard Ron's dad telling his mum. Mr Weasley works with the Ministry of Magic." I added "And its obvious he is after me as well. You know I know that my father was a spy in Voldemort's camp, who betrayed Voldemort before he went after Harry and his parents. Sirius Black will be looking for revenge from both of us." McGonagall nodded "Very well, then you understand Shuter, that I must revoke your access to Hogsemede until Black has been caught.. I'm sorry but that is not up for debate, you and Potter must remain under our watchful eye for your own protection. And I believe it is prudent that both of you no longer practice Quidditch in the evenings. Being out on the pitch with only your teammates is very exposed.." Harry cut her off "But we play our first match on Saturday Professor! We've got to train!" I was aspirated as well "Professor, this is our last chance to win the Quidditch Cup, you know it should be in this very office already, last year should have EASILY been ours. The only ones in Danger are Harry and I, and lets face it, we are used to it by now. We have both faced Voldemort ourselves, I think we can hold off Black until a professor arrives!" Harry nods his agreement. McGonagall considers this "Goodness knows I would like to see us win the cup at last. Very well, you two may train, but I will have a professor watch over your practices."

The week held more surprises. One was that we weren't facing Slytherin in saturday's match, but instead hufflepuff on account of Malfoy's (Totally faked) injury. This did not bode well for us since we had been practicing plays taking advantage of my broom's speed to overtake the Slytherin's Nimbus 2001's, and not working on plays were I would stay with Angelina and Katie. Plus the new captain Cedric Diggory was apparently an excellent seeker and put together a strong team. The other surprise was Snape taking over Lupin's class the day before the match, where he decided to cover werewolves, which was supposed to be the last thing we studied this year.

The day of the match against Hufflepuff I had to admit I was nervous. I had only really ever played one real match before, and that was in perfect weather conditions. It was close to tornado or hurricane weather outside. I had done really well in my first match but that was mostly due to the fact Slytherin did not take me as a threat. I knew Hufflepuff would not make that mistake. I was going to be a target. This was not going to be a fun match.

When we got on the pitch, it was a mad house. Ran so thick you could barely see, winds so loud you could barely hear, my heart feel into my stomach at the thought of trying to run plays with my team mates when we couldn't see each other. I could faintly hear Madam Hooch Yell "Mount your brooms" I then mounted my firebolt and kicked off, raising faster than everyone else. I then faintly heard the commentary (Which honestly could have just been in my head considering how hard it was to hear anything) "And They are in the air. It will be interesting to see how Shuter performs in this match after the stellar first match of his career!" I shook my head, struggling to keep my broom in place in the winds. I heard the whistle and saw the Quaffle get thrown into the air. I then dove for it, this being our game plan since I had the fastest broom. I caught it and the game had officially began.

I Zoomed to the left of the pitch, aware the Hufflepuff chasers were trying to tail me.. Of course my broom far outstripped theirs so I wasn't too worried about it. I then saw a blundger coming towards to so I rolled to avoid it. Succeeding in that I rose to the height of the Hufflepuff hoops. I then began to fly horizontal with them, their Keeper flying with me to stop any shot I made. Just as he thought I was going to the far right (His left) hoop, I pulled up in a loop de loop and threw the quaffle mid loop while upside down towards the second hoop, scoring. Bringing us up 10 points. It wasn't long before Hufflepuff had the quaffle and were zooming towards our goalposts with the other two chasers running interference.. A good play.

I quickly fly up to one of the Weasley twins (Couldn't tell which one in this weather) and yelled "I'm going to cut them off, hit one with a blundger!" George then replied "Smashing!" I then put the full speed of my Firebolt to use and rushed towards the chaser, I then cut in front of him to stop him. I then watched as blundger hit him and set him tumbling off his broom, he hung on to it but dropped the Quaffle, which Angelina caught and began passing between her and Katie before Katie got the goal. I smirked slightly, perhaps we had little to worry about facing Hufflepuff.

Hufflepuff once again had possession of the Quaffle, But Katie was quick and intercepted a pass to a teammate, rushing towards the goal post, myself on her tail. At the last second she threw it back to me, which I caught and finished off the pass to Angelina which scored on the middle post. Already up 30 points. However there was still no sighting of the Snitch, and in this weather I doubted it would be spotted any time soon. The game continued for a while, neither team getting points due to hufflepuff moving their strategy to straight defense, occasionally switching to offense. I was finally able to put a break in their defense after Oliver saved their latest shot. He past it to me yelling "Make me proud David!" I smirked and muttered "For Gryffindor." I then shot forward, pushing my broom to the max. I then deaked out the first chaser, quickly passed the Quaffle to katie to avoid the second chaser, the third going after Katie, who passed it back to me. I then ducked as a blundger was hit towards my head by a Hufflepuff beater. I then went for the shot at the left post, aware of another blundger being hit towards me. One of the Weasley twins hit it away from me and I got the goal. I punched my fist in the air, very impressed with that play.

The Hufflepuff chasers began to pass off from one to another almost as soon as they caught the quaffle, and it was seemingly at random. This did confuse us as we didn't know who to steal the quaffle from, so I doubled back to our goal post, ready to play defense while Katie and Angelina attempted to steal the Quaffle. I watched closely, flying back and forth along the width of the pitch. I then decided to take a leap of faith, and shot forward, aiming for the lead chaser, who was about to toss the quaffle to either the teammate on the right or left, I chose my right and intercepted the pass, leading to cheers that I could hear over the sound of the wind. I then was cut off by that teammate, so I passed the Quaffle to Katie. I then watched as the two girls passed the quaffle to eachother back and forth, meanwhile I ran interference. Angelina was the one made the shot and got the goal. That was when there was a flash of lightning and Madam Hooch's whistle went off.

The team met under some umbrellas. Harry asked "Whats the score?" Wood replied "We're 50 points up, but unless we get the snitch soon we will be playing into the night" I shivered. Harry then said "I've got no chance with these on" He was wiping off his glasses when Hermione appeared inside the huddle "Harry! I've had an idea give me your glasses." She then pulled out her wand and pointed them at his glasses "Impervius" She then handed them back "There, they should repel water now." I shivered again "Great Hermione.. Now do you have a spell to keep me from getting a cold from this damn rain." She shook her head "Sorry David." I rolled my eyes "Well then Crookshanks will just have to keep me company when I'm bedridden with a cold for the next week." She rolled her eyes back "boys." She then left. Wood grinned "Great! Now David you've done an amazing job this game, some of those plays were legendary.. But now I need you to focus on keeping an eye out for the Snitch, so you can tell Harry and we can win this game. Our 50 point lead should be enough that the girls can keep Hufflepuff from catching up." I nodded "You got it Oliver." He grinned "Smashing! Lets do this team!" We then kicked off into the air and got back into playing.

While playing I switched my focus to looking for the glint of the Golden Snitch, so whenever I did end up with the Quaffle it was a quick pass to a team mate. It wasn't long before I saw the glint of the snitch, and unfortunately Diggory had too. I then yelled "Harry! Harry Behind you!" I then saw him turn and dive for the snitch. I couldn't help but think if he had my Firebolt instead of his Nimbus he would have easily beat Diggory to the snitch. However as soon as I thought that I found myself getting cold.. Colder than before.. A different kind of cold... I then heard it "You should know.. I have taken measures to never die, and killing Harry Potter shall seal it! Goodbye Ernest Moore.. Such a waste of pure Magical blood... AVADA KADAVRA!" I squeezed my eyes shut and could swear I could see the flash of green light "No... No.. Not again.. DAD!" I yelled as the echo of Voldemort saying "Avada Kadavra" continued to ring in my head. I began to swerve on my broom. I opened my eyes to see hundred of dementors swirling around us, and I saw Harry fall. I couldn't concentrate as I heard an echo of my dad saying "..dignity back" I then forced myself to keep my eyes open and focused on Harry falling before yelling "No.. HARRY!" I then dove for him, blowing past dementors, the white mist fogging my mind "I have come to make things right!" I shook my head and pulled out of the dive in time to launch myself off my broom and tackle Harry, helping to break his fall, and quite possibly saving his life.

Unfortunately we had lost the match. Diggory had caught the snitch because the Dementors had caused Harry to pass out. I had to admit Diggory was quite the graceful winner about it, even trying to get a rematch because of the unfair condition. However even Wood had to admit that Hufflepuff won fair and square. Of course this basically shot us in the foot for winning the cup. Harry was shipped off to the hospital wing, and most of the team followed.

It wasn't long before Harry woke up. I had just finished my first chocolate bar and was on my second when it happened. I stopped chewing and said "Harry Mate! You Alright?" He looked around confussed "What happened?" Fred then said "You fell off.. Must have been.. Fifty feet." Angelina then said "We thought you died." George than added "You would have if it wasn't for David.. He was all over the place but seemed to snap out of it and pulled a crazy rescue manouver.. It was mental." Harry looked at me "Really?" I shook my head and muttered "It was nothing mate..my father.." I then trailed off, not wanting to continue in front of the team. Harry got the message and then asked "But the match, what happened? Are we having a replay?" We didn't say anything, and then Harry asked "But we didn't... lose?" George then said "Diggory caught the snitch just after you fell.. He didn't realize.. Even tried to call for a rematch.. But even Wood admitted they won fair and square." Harry looked around "Where is Wood?" Fred then said "Still in the shower, we think he's trying to drown himself." Harry then put his head in his knees grabbing his hair. Fred then said "Hey mate, you've never missed the snitch before!" George nodded "There had to be one time you didn't!" I nodded "We still have a chance..sort of.." Fred looked at me and nodded "We lost by 100 points right? SO if Hufflepuff loses to Ravenclaw and we beat Ravenclaw and Slytherin" George then added "They would have to lose by 200 points.." Katie then said "But if Hufflepuff wins" Fred then said "No way Ravenclaw is too good, but if Slytherin lose to Hufflepuff" I cut them off as said "First off... Hufflepuff stands no chance against the Nimbus 2001's, second off is this REALLY good for Harry right now? Come on!" They nodded and noticed Harry beating himself up..Fred then said "Well we'd better go.. Don't beat yoruself up Harry, you are still the best Seeker we have ever had." They then left

Hermione and Ron came forward, Hermione then said "Dumbledore is really angry.. He came onto the field and waived his wand, slowing both you and David.. Then waived it again and shot some silver stuff at the Dementors, sending them all away. He was furious they were on the grounds.." Ron nodded "He magicked you onto a stretcher.. Everyone thought you were.. Well.." I nodded and looked at Harry.. Having a feeling we were the only two who knew what really happened.. At least I thought he witnessed his parents death same as I heard mine... He then asked "Did somebody get my Nimbus.." Ron looked sheepish "Well.. Uh, when you fell off it kind of got blown away.." Hermione then added shakily " It blew... oh Harry it blew into the whomping Willow!" I then added "Yeah.. Uh.. You know what it does...Sorry Harry..." We produced the pieces of his broom. He looked crestfallen.. So I decided now was not the time to bring up what I hear when the Dementors were near.. Not yet anyways.

Things were not looking good for us this year. Dementors apparently were able to enter the grounds, and my 'visions' were getting worse. So I needed to figure out how to defend myself, perhaps with this spell Dumbledore used.. Perhaps he would even teach me. Plus Sirius Black could get in the castle and he was hellbent on killing Harry and me... and our hopes of the Quidditch Cup had fallen to pieces the same as Harry's broom. It did not seem like we could luck our way out if this like we had with the Philosophers stone and the Chamber of Secrets.. And I wasn't sure how we were going to do it otherwise..
