"He used the Magic Card: Fusion, to fuse together his two monsters, and create a far more powerful monster! It's an incredible skill but they only recently just started teaching it at LDS…is he a part of LDS too?" Shuzo asked as he looked at Sora's newest monster.

"I don't know. We just met him today." Yuzu answered.

"Here goes, Senpai! I activate the Quick-Play Spell Card, Cyclone, to destroy your Scrap-Iron Scarecrow! Battle! Death-toy Scissor Bear, attack Doomstar Magician!" Sora Scissor Bear thrusted his palm towards my monster, destroying it.

Noa: 4000 - 400 = 3600 LP

"And now, Scissor Bear's effect activates! When it destroys a monster and sends it to the Graveyard, he can equip the destroyed monster as an Equip Card!" Sora revealed.

"What?!" Yuya gasped.

The portal to the Graveyard opened and Scissor Bear reached into it and pulled out a very weak Doomstar Magician. "I equip the destroyed Doomstar Magician onto Scissor Bear!"

Scissor Bear then ate the monster whole, much to everyone's horror. Sheesh, how did Sora convince the others he wanted to duel for fun?

"And Death-Toy Scissor Bear's Attack Points go up by the Attack Points of the destroyed monster!" Scissor Bear grew in size as it powered up.

Scissor Bear ATK: 2200 + 1800 = 4000

"It's gotten bigger!" Shuzo exclaimed.

"And it has 4000 Attack Points!" Yuzu got worried.

"Scissor Bear is now the strongest monster on the field!" Tatsuya trembled.

"So, even Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon is gonna get destroyed." Futoshi looked nervously at Scissor Bear.

"A monster that gets stronger the more it destroys other monsters…Death-toy Scissor Bear…what a terrifying monster." Shuzo observed.

"I set one card face-down and end my turn." Sora said.

I began clapping my hands, much to the confusion of everyone. "So you're a Fusion user, Sora? Interesting. Perhaps you'll provide a better challenge than Sawatari." I said.

"You're talking as if you won already, Senpai." Sora said, pouting.

"My victory is but a foregone conclusion. How we get there is entirely dependent on you." I said. "My turn! Draw! Using my set Pendulum Scale, I Pendulum Summon! Come, Dice Magician in Defense Mode!"

(LV:3 SC:3 Spellcaster/Pendulum/Effect/Earth ATK: 1600 DEF: 1100)

"Dice Magician effect, rolling a dice and drawing equal to the result!" I said as my monster rolled a dice, landing on a… one. Wow, my luck sucks.

"I draw one card. Then I activate Shrink, halving your Scissor Bear ATK!" I said as Sora's monster's size was halved.

"Battle! Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon attacks Scissor"

"I activate my Trap, Jack in the Box!" Sora stated. "When you have two or more monsters and you declare an attack, this little fellow allows me to negate it, send another monster you control to the graveyard, in this case your Black Fang Magician, and decrease your Odd-Eyes ATK equal to its ATK!" Sora said as a box appeared, sending a glove on a spring towards my magician and hurled it to my Odd-Eyes, stopping him in his tracks.

(Odd Eyes Phantom Dragon 2500 - 1700 = 800 ATK)

"Tch. I end my turn and your monster ATK returns to normal." I said.

"My Turn! Draw!" Sora says, looking at the card he drew and smiles almost evilly, "I activate Death-Toy Parade! Now my Scissor Bear can attack for every card equipped to it."

"But Scissor Bear only has one monster equipped to it?" Futoshi said, confused.

"That's not exactly true." I said, gaining everyone's attention. "Because of his monster's effect, he can equip my monsters and attack one more time, sort of in a loop."

"Nice of you to notice, Senpai!" Sora said. "Battle!"

"Go get an Action Card, Noa!" Yuzu shouted, but I didn't budge.

I mean what I said about not using Action Cards, dammit, and I'm not about to break my vow against some kid with a sweet tooth!

Scissor Bear swung at Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon, sending both him and I into the pool of… I wanna say caramel?

Noa: 3600 - 3200 = 400 LP

I quickly surfaced. Damn that was a lot of LP. Well, at least all requirements have been met, so now I can finish this duel.

"Now, I will equip your Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon." Sora said.

I began laughing. "Actually, you are not." I said, much to everyone's confusion. "You see, Pendulum Monsters have one more ace up their sleeve: When they are destroyed, they are sent to the Extra Deck!"

Everyone gasped, before Sora laughed. "I see. Since it went to the Extra Deck, Scissor Bear effect won't apply." He said. "This is getting more interesting, Senpai! I end my turn!"

"My turn. Draw!" I said, drawing my card. "Sora, it's been fun, but it's time to close the curtain on this duel. Now, with my set Pendulum Scale, I Pendulum Summon! Return from the Extra Deck, Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon and Dice Magician!"

The Pendulum Portal opened up, showcasing all of my monsters.

"You can also Pendulum Summon from the Extra Deck!?" Ayu asked, surprised.

"Shivers!" Futoshi yelled.

"That's awesome and all, but how are you going to beat my Scissor Bear?" Sora asked.

"Simple. I will use my opponent's gimmick and make an even more dazzling performance." I explained, holding up a card.

"My gimmick? You don't mean…"

"I activate Fusion and fuse my two Magicians on the field!" I began chanting as my two monsters swirled in a multi-colored vortex.

"Magicians from another dimension! Merge as one and awaken the venomous dragon! Fusion Summon! Appear, Level 7! Starve Venemy Dragon!"

(LV:7 SC:1 Dragon/Fusion/Pendulum/Effect/Dark ATK: 2500 DEF: 2000)

A purple dragon whose bottom half resembled a plant and the top resembled Starve Venom Fusion Dragon, appeared, roaring, shaking the field and cracking the glass. SOMEONE is excited.

I looked at Sora and sure enough, he looked like he was having Vietnam flashbacks, probably having seen Yuri at some point.

"That's an impressive dragon, Senpai, but it still cuts short of my Scissor Bear!" Sora said with a fake bravado.

"Are you sure about that?" I asked, confusing him. "Starve Venemy Dragon effect activates! I target one monster you control, steals its effects, decreases its ATK by 500 and deals you 500 points of damage!"

Starve Venemy swiped both at the monster and Sora, making him wince.

Sora: 3100 - 500 = 2600

(Death-Toy Scissor Bear 4000 - 500 - 1800 = 1700 ATK)

"Battle! Starve Venemy Dragon attacks directly! Acid Poison Stream!"

My dragon opened its mouth in an unnatural way and releasing a stream of purple poison, melting Scissor Bear and a few strays hitting

Sora: 2600 - 800 = 1800

"Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon attacks you directly! Phantom Strike Burst!" I said as Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon fired a blue beam, hitting Sora and sending him flying.

Sora: 1800 - 2500 = 0

WINNER: Noa

The Action Duel disappeared as I walked over to Sora and helped him up. "That was a fun Duel we had." I said

"Fun?" Sora says like the word is alien to him.

I smiled at him, "Yeah, it was."

Sora is silent for a few moments pondering some things, "I did have fun, Senpai. Thankfully you didn't use Xyz Monsters." Sora tells me.

I sigh a bit. That hatred wasn't going to disappear anytime soon, was it? But it was a start.

Soon the others joined us. "That was an amazing duel!" Tatsuya said.

"It gave me shivers!" Futoshi added

"I didn't know you could Fusion Summon, Noa-oniichan!" Ayu said.

I chuckled. "I can actually know all of the Summoning Methods." I said, much to the shock of everyone.

"What!?" Everyone screamed.

"Ow, my ears…" I said, rubbing them.

"With this, You Show can rival LDS in terms of curriculum!" Shuzo yelled out. "No, with Pendulum Summon, we can even surpass them!"

"Dad, you're drooling…" Yuzu said with a sweatdrop.

I then noticed Yuya looking at me funny. "You okay?" I asked.

"Uh, y-yeah." Yuya said, a bit uneasily.

Guess it's going to take a while for her to get used to someone else using Pendulum Summon. Or was it the fact I could use other Summoning Methods on top of Pendulum Summon?

Oh well… We decided to celebrate Sora's joining You Show with cake.

(3rd Person POV)

Unbeknownst to Noa, he was being watched, his figure being displayed on a monitor on some sort of floor. Around said monitor were multiple figures sitting in a chair, hiding in black cloaks.

"So, it seems the Supreme King has gotten a new comrade."

"And here I thought nobody could be as crazy as her."

"Should we intervene? He could be a problem later on…"

"No, leave it to us. You cannot leave your position." One of the cloaked people said, pointing at them and the person next to them. "We should be more than enough to stop him, considering he doesn't have access to the Heavenly Dragons."

"Not to mention he is not a fragment, so most likely he cannot receive her power."

"Let's not rush ourselves. For now we should observe. If he becomes a threat to the world, then it's our responsibility as the Legacy Guardians to stop him."

You know, I liked asking you guys ideas last chapter so much, I decided to do something interesting. Rather than a Question of the Day, how about an Idea of the Day? Where I give you an idea for a story and you give an opinion on it? Since I keep having new ideas and instead of posting a chapter, I can discuss with you. So here is the first one:

-OC has terminal illness (like in many animes, it will remain unamed or will be made up). Doctors state he will be lucky to reach 18. At one point in his life, he entered a competition by Industrial Illusions to create your own Deck and Summoning Method, aka Link Summon. He won the contest and received the first batch of cards, either the Cyberse cards or the Borrel/Rokket Archetype, alongside Link cards.
