Chapter 19: Lessons Begin ~ How to be a Celestial Bodyguard
As Keith explained, he finished up as he began to have his breath again. Luther stared with eyes full of irritation, "Okay," Luther rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Let's get this straight."
"You agreed to the terms to be Violet's new bodyguard," Aurora spoke. "To pay your debt to her, including for us to teach you to get ready before her name day?"
"Yeah, pretty much." Keith shrugged.
"Well, if you're going to be a new bodyguard for the Royal One Heiress," Luther crossed his arms. "We got a lot of teaching to do for you to learn, including that you need a weapon to do so."
"Well, I want that. But I kind of doubt that your weapons are supposed to wield by Celestial Beings themselves," Keith spoke. "Not to a Galra hybrid such as I am."
"True," Luther nodded. "But we will think of something for you to wield with."
"Like what, cousin?" Aurora asked.
"Uh…" Luther tries to think.
Chuchule squeaked.
"Huh," Aurora looked down. "What's that? You know something for Keith to wield with?"
Plachu squeaked happily as it nodded. Suddenly, Plachu, Chuchule, Chulatt, and Platt scampered to a satchel and snuggle into it. For a few ticks, the Altean Mice came out with a knife in their paws.
"My blade," Keith smiled. "You guys sneaked it in, didn't you?"
The Altean mice nodded.
"Did you know about this?" Luther asked Aurora.
"No," Aurora replied. "But they are completely clever though."
"Indeed," Luther agreed.
"Thanks, you guys," Keith thanked the mice as he picked up his sheathed knife-blade.
The Altean Mice squeaked happily as they scamper back to Aurora.
"So that's your weapon, huh?" Luther crossed his arms.
"Uh, yeah." Keith nodded, "What about it?"
"It doesn't look much like a blade, and it doesn't look very effective."
Keith narrowed his eyes at Luther as he pulled his knife out. As he points the blade to the ground, the knife glowed and expanded to the size of a sword-blade.
Luther's eyes grew widened in shock, "How…?"
"Only a Galran Blade or a Blood of Galra could wield a Blade of Marmora," Keith answered as his sword blade turned back to the size of a knife blade. Carefully, Keith put his knife blade in its sheath and hook it to his belt.
"Okay, now he got his weapon." Aurora shrugged, "Guess it's time to teach him how to be a bodyguard for the Royal One Heiress."
"But…did I offend you when I…?" Keith was about to ask Aurora.
"Not at all," Aurora shook her head. "She was fine when she has me around, guessed it works the same way with you."
"Guess so," Keith shrugged.
"Well, she did claim him after all." Luther shrugged, "It makes it more understandable."
"Okay, what is everyone keep talking about this claim thing?" Keith asked, "And what does that mean?"
"That pendant that you wear around your neck," Luther pointed to the locket pendant. "Is a marker of the Royal One Heiress, and with the power that lives within her. Shares her power upon both you and that pendant, the pendant will protect you at all costs. The pendant won't be able to come off you, until either when you are ready to leave, or she lets you go, or till you lay your life for her."
Okay... Keith thought. Not what I'm expecting about…
"But the way of that pendant's power to activate it is with a seal of the Heiress's kiss," Luther continued. "But either willingly or accidentally."
"Huh?" Keith tilted his right ear.
"Luther!" Aurora scolded her cousin.
"What?" Luther shrugged incidentally.
"Wait," Keith spoke out loud. "You said…a kiss?"
Luther nodded.
"And when Twilight said that when Violet fell for me…or on…by the name of Alfor and the blessed Altean Heavens of Allura!" Keith's purple-fur face turned bright red which would put Red Lion's color to shame. Covered his mouth in embarrassment.
"Oh, so no one has told you about it. Huh?" Luther raised an eyebrow.
"I was only given by hints," Keith panicked within his growl.
"Okay, okay," Aurora spoke. "Since you got that done and understood how it happened. Let's start focusing on the task that is at hand."
"Yes, well…" Luther cleared his throat, "Before we could get started, could you tell us your name."
"Oh, I've already known his name is," Aurora spoke.
"How?" Luther asked his cousin.
"The mice told me what it is from the day since I met them," Aurora pointed out.
"Okay, then." Luther turned to Keith, "Introduce to me, instead."
"Uh sure. My name is Keith Kogane," Keith replied as his color came back. "I am a Blade-Solider and Blade-Piolet from the Blade of Marmora, once we were rebellion community during the Galran War. But we are now a peaceful society to everyone in the galaxy."
"Hmm, interesting. But the very good choice of path that you and your community have taken." Luther spoke, "Now let's get started, we've got a lot of work ahead of us." Luther and Aurora took Keith and the Altean Mice to the next room and began to do their teaching.

While teaching, Keith becomes worried. "So..." Keith rubbed the back of his neck. "How do you become a bodyguard? If you never were a Celestial Being?" The cousins eye each other with a concerned look.
"Keith," Aurora smiled. "Look, take a deep breath."
Keith breathes for a bit.
"Close your eyes," Aurora ordered. Keith slowly closed his eyes. "And imagine another time...Another world of stars..."
Aurora:

"Well, obviously." Keith chuckled.
Aurora:

Keith:

Keith suddenly remember a few generals that gave him that similar look.

Suddenly, books appeared with an erase board in the center.

Now, eyes straight forward and back straighten

Keith:
Can I use the bathroom now?
Aurora and Luther/(Chulatt, Plachu, Plat and Chuchule):

The scene changed with lots of notes in front of Luther and Aurora. Testing Keith's knowledge in a short time.

Keith left the room while steaming up. Aurora and Luther realized the pressure that they put on him is too much. Suddenly, the Altean Mice friends went after Keith.
While Keith is alone, the Altean Mice carefully approach his side.

Keith turns to his little friends.
Plachu:

"Sure," Keith nodded as the Altean Mice went to his shoulders. He stood up.

Keith walks back into the training room. Luther and Aurora quickly apologized to Keith. Keith forgave them and willing to try again.

The notes began to pile as the erase board shows the groups from different celestial heritage. Role. Etc.

(Panicking)

In excitement, they continue helping Keith with his new studies at his own pace.

A few hours passed, Luther and Aurora taught Keith the basics, the strategies, the defenses, and the History of the Celestial Beings. Including how to respect the Royal Ones and other Celestial Beings that have different titles along within Heaven. Although, Keith's leg still aching while he keeps on walking and standing. But no fighting or wrestling with anyone. However, he keeps on hoping that Doctor Albert won't come barging in while coming looking for him and drag him back to the hospital bed so he and his leg could recover. Including a lecture to him, Luther, and Aurora about what quiznaking idea that Keith has gotten himself into. Keith is trying not to think about it as he is taking every step slowly as he carefully stretches his leg and progresses on other stuff that he needs to learn.
While the part of the lesson is over, Luther sighed as he checks the time and began to pack his bag. "I'm clocking out," Luther spoke.
"Is it over already?" Keith asked.
"Not by a long shot," Luther shook his head. "You still have a lot to go for another day."
"Great," Keith exclaimed. "That means that Doctor Albert will soon lecture me about what I am doing."
"Probably," Luther shrugged.
"Well, you better go." Aurora spoke, "Before your wife gets mad at you for being late."
"Wait, you're married?" Keith asked.
"Sure am," Luther nodded. "What do you expect? A male virgin?"
"No, that's not what I'm meant." Keith shook his head, "I just...didn't know that Celestial Beings are capable to get married."
"And fall in love," Luther nodded. "Yes, it does happen around here as well."
"And do you guys have kids? I mean to produce?" Keith becomes curious.
"As a matter of fact, yes." Luther nodded, "I do."
"How many?" Keith asked.
"Luther has eight children," Aurora answered.
"Eight?" Keith jumped.
"Four boys, four girls." Aurora replied, "That is the last time when I saw them."
"Well actually, I have six girls and six boys, Aurora." Luther corrected her, "My wife and I are expecting our thirteenth child around the upcoming summer solstice."
"Twelve children?" Aurora jumped.
"Whoa, that's a lot of kids," Keith exclaimed. And a lot of mouths to feed too, Keith thought.
"I thought that you have eight children, Luther." Aurora nearly growled.
"I do," Luther nodded. "I've been a father eight times already, soon giving to have our ninth soon."
"And what about the other four?" Aurora's eyes narrowed.
"My wife and I have adopted them," Luther answered. "One huge great pair of a family thou."
"No kidding," Keith muttered.
"Now you're making a lot more sense," Aurora nodded.
Luther nodded, "I better go, I'll see you to tomorrow morning."
"Alright," Aurora sighed. "Say hi to Grace and the kids for me."
"Well do, and Keith." Luther turned to him.
"Yes?" Keith jumped.
"Be here at eight o'clock sharp," Luther ordered.
"In the morning?" Keith nearly panicked.
"Yup, and don't be late." Luther left the room, leaving Aurora, the Altean mice, and Keith alone in the room.
"Can't make any promises," Keith muttered. Great, it's the Castle of Lions and the Blades training all over again. Keith mentally snarled.
Aurora giggled, "Don't worry, I'm sure that he will understand." Aurora stood up, "Come on."
"Where to?" Keith asked.
"To the Chamber of Prayer," Aurora answered as the Altean mice got onto her shoulders. "I want to show you something."
"Uh, okay." Keith carefully got up to his feet, "Well, lead the way."
Aurora nodded as she, the Altean mice, and Keith left the room and headed to the north side of the palace.
