Chapter 27: The Ball
Part 4: An Assault Discovery
Outside of the ballroom, in the gardens, Keith keeps on sniffing the air for Violet's scent. Every time he sniffs, Violet's scent is getting stronger along with other scents that he is picking up. Suddenly, his ears pricked up as he heard movement from his side. "Stop it," Violet's voice cried out. Keith nearly halted as he crept up quietly towards the sound.
"Oh come on now, princess." A voice that Keith was not familiar with has spoken, "Just one kiss, it is a lot faster and painless." Keith looked at the corner from the tree, he saw De' Montrae and Violet, who has been held by a boy that he has never seen before. Keith examined him, he can tell that the boy is a few years older than Violet and De' Montrae. However, the boy has African American skin, a pair of dark brown eyes, light peach lips, and black hair at night. The boy is wearing a black and white royal tuxedo, navy-blue bow tie, a black belt, black jeans, a crest that is stitched onto the tuxedo's suit, and solid black dancing shoes.
As Keith has finished examining the boy, he listens quietly before he makes his move. Violet tenses up as she angrily looks at him, "For the last time Bayamon," Violet spoke. "I said no! Uh, let go of me."
"Bayamon, let her go." De' Montrae spoke, "You have to accept the fact of the word "no" means…"
"You stay out of this brother," Bayamon growled. "If I won't have my fun tonight with her, then I force her to be with me instead."
Violet gasped.
Keith growled.
"What?!" De' Montrae jumped, "Bayamon no! You can't do that. You'll be sinned and you will lose your wings for sure."
"Then she has thought about it 1600 years ago instead of telling me no," Bayamon shouted. "So, I will be king with a beautiful queen by my side."
"N-no!" Violet panicked as she struggles.
"Mother and father won't accept this," De' Montrae shook his head. "Including her sister and the king."
"Then I'll make sure that she wouldn't tell," Bayamon brought Violet closer to him. Cupped her mouth, preventing her to scream. "Including you brother," he brought his mouth closer to Violet's neck.
Violet was about to scream as she shakes in fear. Her pair of orchid-pale rose eyes pleaded for help towards De' Montrae. Helplessly doing nothing but watch, wishing that he could help but not be alone. His strength alone is useless unless a miracle could happen.
"Hey!" Keith shouted as he stepped out of the shadows. Having his ears flat and eyes shooting daggers at Bayamon. "Release the princess."
"And you are?" Bayamon raised an eyebrow, suddenly, De' Montrae looped his arms around his brother and pulled him back. Dropping Violet to the ground.
Keith jumped as he watches what is happening.
Violet breathes heavily as her knees buckle in fright.
"De' Montrae," Bayamon growled. "You little…"
"Go!" De' Montrae ordered Violet.
Violet shakes as she stood up and ran toward Keith.
"Violet," Keith's eyes full of worry turned to her. "Are you alright?"
Violet hesitantly nodded as she still shakes in pain and fear. Keith examined her, seeing the red mark on both arm and face where Bayamon has his full grip on Violet.
Keith nearly growled as he shielded Violet from Bayamon's sight. "What type of quiznaking idiot are you?" Keith nearly held his snarl as his ears flatten, "You who is the one who was harming the princess?"
"Just having fun," Bayamon replied.
"It was her night brother, not yours." De' Montrae whispered in his brother's ear.
"Buzz off," Bayamon tries to shake his young brother off him.
"If that is what you called fun," Keith spoke. "You are making her more scared and being more disrespectful towards her, to her family, and her kingdom. There's no wonder she wouldn't go out with you."
"How dare you?!" Bayamon growled.
"Woah, easy brother." De' Montrae tried to hold his elder brother back.
"What makes you have the right to speak to me with such tongue, filthy purple peasant?" Bayamon hissed.
Purple? Really?! Keith thought as he held his growl. "The one who has a debt to pay," Keith answered. "And being more loyal and respectful to those that are equal to your well-being," Keith turned to Violet with his ears relaxed and his eyes softened. "Come on, let's get that arm of yours to fix up a bit."
Violet nodded as she and Keith started to leave the area of the garden.
"Hey," Bayamon shouted. "Don't you dare walk away from me and with my future bride," slowly, both Keith and Violet stopped. Violet didn't look but breathed as she nearly clutches her fists.
"With what proof of bride do you have if is not by the council or an arrangement itself," Violet spoke with near confidence without even looking back.
Both brothers jumped as they stared at the princess.
"Think about it," Violet spoke. "Before I decide to bring upon your crimes in the future," Violet began to breathe again as she started to walk away as Keith followed. Leaving the brothers all alone in the garden.
As both brothers watched Keith and Violet walking to the different sections of the garden. De' Montrae finally lets go of Bayamon, "Well that's over," he sighed. "Now we can ta—" Bayamon punched De' Montrae in the stomach. De' Montrae coughed as he almost clutched his stomach, but Bayamon grabbed the collar of De' Montrae's shirt and held him close to his face.
"How could you De' Montrae?" Bayamon growled, "I almost had her."
"But Bayamon," De' Montrae shakes in pain. "You were hurting her, and you were being aggressive…you can't just force her for your bidding. She's the heiress to…"
"And that's exactly why I want her," Bayamon shouted. "I want to be king, and to do that allow her to carry."
"Brother please, you must stop this action to keep on going." De' Montrae spoke, "It will lead you nothing but ambition, loneliness, and sorrow. So, you must turn back now before it's too late."
"Turn back, no. I won't turn back," Bayamon threw his brother to the ground. "I've come this far to be the next king, instead of having a queen as a ruler. Plus, you were planning to do something with her as I was."
"Nothing that is sickening as yours," De' Montrae struggled to stand up. "I was about to talk to her about something very personal, and I was about to ask her about something for my future."
"Personal…future…that's what is all about," Bayamon grunted. "You and your girlfriend, instead of you being with the princess…what a sick joke. There's no way I am allowing that to be in our family's tradition."
"I will tell mother and father to stop you for doing such madness you are in," De' Montrae spoke. "And I will spill the beans towards the king, so we won't be at war."
War huh? Bayamon smirked wickedly, "If you do, then I must do something about it. Before I would have a bigger fish to fry for my plans to stir," Bayamon pop his knuckles as he grinned at De' Montrae.
De' Montrae jumped, "W-what are you going to do?"
Bayamon chuckled, "You'll see soon enough," Bayamon approached his brother.
De' Montrae gulped as he knows that his brother is up to something and he won't like for a moment where he stands in the dark of the garden.

Confrontation
Inspired by: fanfiction of My Little Pony ~ Trixie Sparkle, and Musical Play of Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde
Within the dark parts of the garden, a cold breeze has blown in the air.
Bayamon:
The time has come to act
Bayamon smiled evilly. De' Montrae began to shake frightfully.
Bayamon:
Our chance to be great
In Violet's grace we can bond
With all her power
The star we never seen
Or go to her side, embrace the power
Unite our two households
By Sacred Father's light
We'll be a perfect pair
We'll make it so
And let our ranks gone
Bayamon crept towards his brother.
Bayamon:
Come with me brother
Join the plan brother
We'll work together and share the power to...
De' Montrae decided to rebel.
De' Montrae:
Do you really think that I could ever join your side?
Do you really take me for a fool?
All that your plan offers me is fear inside Violet's eyes
That is not the way I wish to go
Bayamon began to lose his patience.
Bayamon:
Why can't you see all that power that she controls?
This is a way we can rank up
De' Montrae:
All I can see is the ambition that blinds you
Keep your dark plans away from me
Bayamon:
It's not about me you can get involved too
She'll be crowned without a king
Don't you believe she will pick you as her king?
De' Montrae felt the urge of tears.
De' Montrae:
This is the path of sin brother
I know how this will end
Ranking up cannot bring you to satisfaction
Bayamon:
I decide what ranking brings
It's my means to bring respect
With or without you I shall not cease
De' Montrae decides to try to pursue his brother from ambitions.
De' Montrae:
No angel's perfect Violet's no different
You must let go of your dark desires
Bayamon:
It's too late turn back and I'll make Violet mine
So, her people will give me respect than her
De' Montrae:
I'll spill the beans from this darkness
I'll pay the price if losing my wings to do so
Forsaken our sicken ways, I'll redeemed myself once for all
Bayamon lost his fuse.
Bayamon:
I won't allow you to
Bayamon punches De' Montrae in the abdomen.
De' Montrae:
{Oof}
Bayamon:
I will rule as king with Violet as my bed slave!
De' Montrae:
NO!
De' Montrae becomes more afraid.
Bayamon:
And I'll be greater than Sacred Father if we can reject him
So we will only have one king to bow!
De' Montrae gathers courage within him as he stands. Decide to try again.
De' Montrae:
Can't you see it's over now, time to redeem yourself
Bayamon:
Redemption is for the weak, I'll shall not!
De' Montrae:
Don't let ambition take over you
Bayamon:
Ambition is what fuels me; it feels great!
De' Montrae:
Please Bayamon, turn away!
Bayamon approaches De' Montrae.
Bayamon:
Dearest brother, we'll have some fun!
De' Montrae:
NO! I refuse...
Bayamon:
It's our move now, come help me
De' Montrae:
NO NEVER
Bayamon:
YES FOREVER
De' Montrae:
I won't brother!
Take all your evil biddings and ROT INTO THE PITS OF TARTARUS!
Bayamon:
So be it then, De' Montrae!
Both brothers stared at each other as a cold breeze whispered within the garden before remaining quiet.

As the brother are arguing, they never realized something within the grass is watching them. Quietly and suspiciously, the eyes within shadows witnessed what Bayamon was about to do.
