Chapter 31: Confront
Part 2: The Mirror of Truth

As Luther carries De' Montrae in his arms, he grunts as he enters the ballroom. "Call the medical team," Luther ordered. "This boy needs healing."
The rest of the guards nodded and hurried to the Medical Wing.
Everyone gasps as they muttered to one another.
"De' Montrae," a voice of a young woman came through the crowd. Running towards both Luther and De' Montrae's side. "Is he...?"
"Still alive, but barely," Luther answered.
"Cousin," Aurora spoke as she went to Luther.
"Quickly," Luther spoke. "I need a strong fabric of cloth to slow down the bleeding on his back."
"Right," Aurora nodded. She ran to the table, grabbing the tablecloth. With one pull, she swiftly pulled the clothes off the table. Leaving everything else standing unharmed.
Aurora quickly went to Luther, laying the clothing down. Luther settled De' Montrae on the cloth, beginning to wrap the cloth from back to chest.
"What happened?" Keith asked.
"When Bayamon came and claimed that you attacked both him and his brother," Luther spoke. "I was begun to have suspicious thoughts around that time, so I went into the southern garden to check it out. Yes, there was a blood bath but there was no evidence that you would have done it within that area of the garden."
"What do you mean?" Bayamon barked, "There's evidence all around it, including on my brother."
"No there isn't," Luther spoke. "I've looked, and all that I could find is broken branches, and pools of blood, and found De' Montrae's wings are severely cut off from his back and body."
"De' Montrae's wings were cut off," Violet shivers in fear.
"Is it damage or lethal?" Keith asked.
"The pendulum can swing both ways to either the wings were cut off by force," Aurora spoke. "If wings were cut off by those that aren't Arch, Royal, Ancient, or Legend; it could have been either one. If it is damaged, they would live as an angel but have no wings to fly. The wings would become a secret crest of the families' name, as a reminder of its redemption forever."
"And...?" Keith nervously asked.
"If it is lethal," Aurora continued. "It would kill the angel within seconds. The wings turn to weapons and never be useful for redemption itself. But vengeance will take place with honor and justice."
"Like the fallen type?" Keith tries to understand it clearly.
"Pretty much, yeah." Aurora nodded.
"Okay, I have forgotten to mention that part." Bayamon scratched his chin.
"For the last time," Keith held his growl. "I never touched either you or your brother."
"Well tell that to De' Montrae," the young woman weeping as she held De' Montrae's hand. "The one who you cut his wings down."
"Keith isn't the one who has created the cause," Luther shook his head.
"How could you say that?" the girl spoke, "He's..."
"His wings are indeed cut," Luther interrupted. "But not his weapon. His wings were cut by the weapon of a Celestial Being."
"What?" the girl jumped in shock.
"Only a Celestial Being wields a Celestial weapon to harm another Celestial Being," Luther explained. "Keith, however, does not have a Celestial weapon. He is a living being and has a Galran blade. He is not capable to wield such a weapon, because his weapon only stung a Celestial Being for a moment. Not to harm or to kill, and that only proves that he is innocent, and someone is playing a blame game to prove that he is not innocent."
"Are you saying that one of us has harmed my son?" Butch asked.
"That is correct," Luther nodded.
"Okay," Keith's left ear twitched. "Umm...before we could go any further into detail, Aurora. Can you explain why one of your mirrors that are a reflection of a blue color surface instead of regular color like the rest of them? It's starting to bother me whenever I look behind the crowd."
"Oh, that mirror." Aurora nearly jumped, "That's the Mirror of Truth, it can easily reflect a person that is lying or has sinned when either their eyes or bodies are glowing red. But only works if you asked a question to it and it will reveal your answer to you."
"It used to be in the Council Chamber," Luther added. "But since everyone was being truthful within the chamber, they did not need it to be there anymore. So, they hung it somewhere else within the palace. But never knew that they..."
"That's it," Twilight pipped up as her eyes turned to rainbow.
"Sis," Violet nearly stuttered. "Don't even..."
"Mirror of Truth," Twilight spoke out loud as her hands are raised in midair. Suddenly, her command of the shadows surrounded the mirror that reflects the blue surface. Suddenly, it disappeared from the wall and reappear in her hands.
Keith jumped as his ears went straight up high. "Guess that someone has forgotten to mention to me that she can do that too."
"Sorry," Violet apologized.
"It's alright," Keith spoke. "I kind of guessed that deep down that I wasn't prepared for the see Celestial Beings power's event either."
Violet smiled softly, "I'm glad that you understand."
Keith smiled in return.
"Why didn't we think of this before?" Twilight spoke as her eyes turned white and yellow. "Now we can solve this mystery game once and for all." Twilight uses her shadows to hold the mirror and begins to levitate the mirror in thin air.
"What is she doing?" Keith asked.
"Just watch," Violet spoke.
"Secret Mirror of Truth," Twilight spoke. "Show us the reflection of who is the one who has harmed my sister, Princess Violet?" Twilight commanded in a question.
Everyone remained silent as the surface of the mirror faces Keith. Showing his reflection with light blue glowing eyes. Everyone has waited for a few ticks, but reflection of Keith shows nothing.
"Huh, guess that you didn't do it after all," Twilight spoke as her eyes turned white and hazel.
"You're innocent alright," Aurora smiled as she nodded. "I didn't doubt a tick, and you vowed not to harm the princess. So that declares of your innocent."
Told you, Keith thought as his ears and left eye to the eyebrow twitched in frustration.
"But if Keith didn't do it," Twilight scratched her head as she accidentally dropped the mirror. Moving it to a different direction. "But who did it?"
Violet nearly jumped, "Umm...Twilight," Violet trembled.
"Yeah?" Twilight turned.
"Look," Violet pointed as she held Keith's arm again. Twilight turned, looking at the mirror's surface. Seeing everyone's eyes are light blue but one is glowing deep red. Darker than Twilight's anger could put to shame. Twilight turned in the direction of where the mirror is facing. His eyes turned deep blood red as she looks at the one who claims the attack. "Bayamon!" She growled, "It was you...this whole time?!"
"Bayamon?" Lavender is in shock.
"My son?" Butch jumped.
"It wasn't me; the mirror must be broken," Bayamon exclaimed innocently, hiding a smirk on his face.
"Oh really?" Twilight harshly grinned, "Secret Mirror of Truth, show me the reflection of the one who has harmed De' Montrae?" Twilight turned the mirror to Keith, reflecting his eyes light blue and his body glowing white.
"If you ask the mirror the second question," Aurora spoke. "It reflects both eyes and body to show who is innocent or not once again."
"So, with that color, that means that a truly innocent?" Keith asked.
"Yes, yes it does." Violet nodded.
"This purple fur ball is clean," Twilight demanded.
"I resented that," Keith slightly growled as his left ear twitched and his eye twitched with irritation.
"However..." Twilight spoke, "Bayamon is declared..." she turned the mirror to the crowd. Showing everyone has light blue eyes and glowing white bodies. But Bayamon's reflection is showing red eyes and his body is glowing in the color of red-orange.
The crowd; except Bayamon gasped.
Bayamon began to sweat.
"Bayamon," Butch clutched his fist, "You...you harmed De' Montrae...your brother? And...you attempted...to harm the princess...? The Heiress of all Heaven?"
"Father...I-I was..." Bayamon spoke, trying to think of something to turn his luck around.
"Enough!" Butch yelled.
Violet jumped as she hugged Keith's arm.
Bayamon jumped in shock and his eyes widened.
"We'll discuss this further while we are in our quarters," Butch spoke.
"Interesting," a familiar voice spoke within the crowd. The crowd moved, seeing King Duncan. Standing with a head tall and starting to walk to the scene. "A young guest that has been sinned with lust and luxury, would go this far. To throw down the blame on the princess's new bodyguard whom he barely knows. Wanted something that is out of his rank, how foolish of him." King Duncan turned to Butch, "Tell me, Butch, do you remember the rules of this commit?"
"Indeed," Butch nodded. "He is not allowed to leave from either his quarters or the palace. Not unless he is with the escort or permission to do so."
"Very good," King Duncan nodded with satisfaction. "Guards, escort Sir Bayamon to his quarters and make sure that you will guard him well."
"Yes, my lord." The guards bowed. Three of the guards began to surround Bayamon and escort him to his guest quarters.
"Why that little...?" Bayamon grunts angrily in his breath as he's been escorted to these quarters.

As Bayamon has been escorted to his guest room, the medical team has rushed into the ballroom. Getting everything ready for De' Montrae to be escorted and rushed to the Medical Wing.
