-Imprisonment-

Rinku let out a soft groan, he began to cough, and took in a deep breath. The mesmerizing azure hues slowly, taking in the darkness. What happened? He was sore, the pain he was feeling was persistent and wasn't going away. He tried to move his arms and realized they were tied securely above his head and his ankles also had chains around them. He still wore his clothing and boots, but noticed his sheath containing his sword was gone and his pouch containing his weapons was gone. He wondered where his was.

Then the door opened, allowing a bright light enter the room in front of Rinku. He immediately shut his eyes, as a headache pounded against his head. Ganondorf let out a laugh, that sounded like a cough. He opened his eyes slowly, his eyes finally adjusting to the light.

"Hello there, hero," he whispered. "So it does seem like Link has family, even if you are from the future." Rinku trembled slightly, the color draining from his face. Heart pounding, he stared at Ganondorf. "Yes I know all about you, Rinku." Rinku swallowed, staring at him. "Let me tell you, killing you would be too easy, so instead of doing that, you will work for me."

Rinku let out a shocked laugh. "Like hell I will. You can't make me do anything!" Rinku glared at him defiantly.

Ganondorf simply chuckled, causing the hylian to raised a brow in confusion. "Let me ask you, hero. Do you honestly think Link cares about you?"

"Of course he does," Rinku replied, obviously annoyed. "He is a humble, kind hearted individual who cares about his loved ones." He was visibly shaken.

"You look disturbed," the large man snickered. And then, leaning in he whispered into the hero's pointed ear," Is it because deep down, you knew that you were just a toy to your friend? He simply used you to defeat the temples and he was going to toss you aside when he was done!"

You're lying!" Rinku screamed at him. "Link is not like that at all! He would never use someone that way, especially someone he cared about."

"Then why are you still here?' Ganondorf commented. "It's been a whole week and Link hasn't made the attempt to save you."

Rinku felt his heart leap, thinking about what Ganondorf just said. Was it true? Was Link only using him to finish his quest and then toss him aside? He shook his head. "No! You are lying. Link would-," his voice trailed out.

"Shouldn't you know the truth, hero?" Ganondorf whispered softly. He was standing close to Rinku.

"The truth?" Rinku blinked blankly. "No, you have to be lying."

"Heh. I thought you'd say that. But that's rather hypocritical of you, considering the bearer of the Triforce of Courage is too scared to confront the truth."

"I'm not sacred!" Rinku retorted in anger. Ganondorf grabbed his head and slammed it against the wall behind him. He grew disoriented, feeling himself getting punched in the stomach. The strength in the blow was powerful, and he spat out some blood.

"Look at you!" Ganondorf jeered. "Are you that afraid to know what you were all along to your friend? Or were you so ignorant and naive for believing that Link cared about at all in the first place?"

The words struck like knives through Rinku's heart, and the hero trembled with rage and anger. "Shut up! Just shut the hell up, you monster!"

"Well look at that, it looks like I've upset you. But I suppose it's quite understandable." Ganondorf grinned, enjoying the sight of the hero becoming noticeably distraught. It would be easy to make him his.

"Let me see, who used you to do some dirty work for him and what did you get back in return? Ganondorf continued. "You were just tossed to the side just like a toy once he was done using you!"

The words shattered Rinku and Ganondorf smiled widely at the sight of the devastation in those blue eyes breaking apart like beautiful fragile glass. Ganondorf launched a large fist into the hero's face. Rinku's head slammed into the wall again, cracking the back of his skull open. Blood trickled down the back of his head, as he felt blood trickling out the sides on his mouth. He suddenly felt a hand grip his neck tightly.

"He enjoyed using you," Ganondorf laughed.

"You're...wrong," Rinku gasping, struggling to get air in his body. "You are just lying about Link. He would never use me."

Ganondorf felt as though he talked enough and released his hold on his neck. Then he elbowed Rinku rather hard in the chest, knocking the wind out of the hero.

Ganondorf punched him in the face, which Rinku uttered a word cry of pain. Ganondorf continued his assault on Rinku. He punched him again and then again, smashing him in the ribcage and pounding him with full force.

Rinku couldn't fight back, as he bit his lower lip. Each blow Ganondorf struck the hero devastatingly. After a few minutes, Ganondorf ended his assault. The once green tunic and silky locks of ash blond hair were smeared with blood, the distinguishable green cap was missing, and the blood was completely battered and possibly broken. The hero hung from his wrist, his face bruised and swollen beyond recognition for Rinku was unconscious.

Author's Note: Another short chapter, but straight to the point. The way I see it is if Ganondorf can toy around with Rinku and throw him off guard, it would easier for him to turn him. I do hope you guys enjoyed this chapter.
