PERCY POV
I am standing on Olympus, anxious about the coming of Kronos. I have not overlooked the moment on the ship or the look in Kronos's eye. I have not told them, anyone, how I feel. I never can. I never will. I rest my face on the unbending blanket of the wall. I'm petrified. I don't know if I can even do this. I must: for Beckendorf, for Luke, for Silena, for everyone. I must put my family in front of love and desire. I can never have Kronos. That is the cold, bitter truth. I will kill my love or my family . " a single choice shall end his days' ' perhaps. My fatal flaw is sneering at me. it has reared its ugly head. Athena and Annabeth were right. I am a coward. The cold, bitter truth. I am sorry.
Here he comes. He looks me directly in the eye. With a jolt, I see no evil in them. Still Kronos, however. He looks at Annabeth's knife, then points to himself and shakes his head, then me and mouths "ally and rebuild". Bizarrely, I understood. I knew what I had to do. He knew he had to act.

I grab the knife, tell Luke everything will be ok and chuck the knife off of Olympus. Luke looks astonished, and Grover is hurt. Annabeth is angry. She launches herself at me as Luke begins to glow. Luke wheezes " he is becoming more powerful!" Annabeth hisses at me "see what you have done, are you a traitor?" I shake my head and tell her to wait and see.
Suddenly, there is a huge explosion. A handsome titan has taken Luke's place and a couple of metres away sits Luke, bewildered but safe. Annabeth hissed angrily at me and ran over to Luke. Grover looks torn between me and Annabeth but I nod my head in Annabeth's direction. He trots off. Kronos takes a few steps forward and me a few backs. Kronos says "Now, now beautiful, don't be scared, it's me and I'll keep you safe. I promise.`` I ran into his arms and wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him. I hear a huge gasp from behind me.
Behind me stands Annabeth, Luke, Grover, the gods and a few demigods. All looking booms " Percy, what… what is this ?" hesitantly, I look at Kronos. He smiles and kisses my forehead. " I had a plan. We had a plan. We decided we are going to work together with you to create a better world. Besides, I love Kronos with all my heart.`` Zeus opens his mouth but hears all people shut it. They agreed to the plan and Kronos became my boyfriend and I became a titan.
