This chapter is moving slow and due to my computer dying on me (it completely crashed) everything I wrote was literally re-written. I went to upload it, which is didn't AND it deleted everything. So all of this was written with the past week or two. I am a little upset that it couldn't have been up when I wanted it to be. I am so sorry to everyone who was waiting. Please enjoy this next part.

-Frostbite-

The hero and the princess walked in silence while leaving Zora's Domain, as Navi hovered above them. Link seemed to be out of sorts, as Zeruda bit her lower lip. The poor lad hadn't rested and she knew that when he got hit by the stalatite earlier. As Zeruda was about to talk to him, she noticed him swaying. She wrapped one of her arms around his waist to steady him. "Are you alright?" Her voice was soft and filled with concern.

Link regarded her with a small smile, "Yes, I'm fine." He swayed a bit, as Zeruda held him steady.

She looked at him, perplexed, "Are you sure you're going to be fine?" He didn't look fine in the slightest. His face seemed a little pale to her and he was growing a tad bit colder to her. 'Perhaps his wound got infected from the cold air, but it also could have been enchanted.' "Link, maybe we should.." Before she could finish her sentence, Link fell into her arms, unconscious. Zeruda was pushed against the railing in the middle of Zora's River. She felt his chilled body against her own.

'Oh no, Link,' she thought. 'I need to get him help and fast.' She looked up at the blue fairy, who appeared stunned. "Navi?" The fairy shook her head, looking at Zeruda. "Go to Kakariko Village and find either Sheik or Impa, please." Navi seemed hesitant on leaving them alone. "Please." Something in Zeruda's voice made her change her mind. She nodded and began to head to Kakariko Village. Seeing Link in that condition made her fly faster to Kakariko Village. She had no idea if Link was going to be okay. And all she could do was just hover there. Navi darted with all her might and managed to make it to the Village. It took her nearly an hour before the staircase came into view. Upon entrance, a gasp fled her lips. A band of moblins were attacking the villagers and lighting some of the houses on fire.

"Navi!" A voice shouted. She turned to the voice and saw Impa knock a moblin away. She darted towards her and landed on the Sheikah's out stretched hand. "What are you doing here? Where are the others?"

Navi was trying to catch her breath, as Impa gracefully leaped onto the top of her house for safety. "When we were in the Ice Cavern, a stalatite hit Link in the head and now he is unable to stay awake. I was asked to get help." Impa nodded, as she gently placed Navi in a pocket.

"Stay out of sight," she ordered. The sheikah executed a perfect landing, flipping through the air. Navi heard the shriek of moblins and heard Impa growl in anger. Impa then pulled out her dagger and began to defend her village. Impa growled, as a Moblin tried to raise it's club against her. The creature brought it down, as she rolled out of the way. The moblin was desperately trying to pull it from the ground. Then as Impa placed her hand on the ground, she kicked the Moblin in the back, sending it into another one.

From the entrance of Kakariko Village, another sheikah appeared. Sheik's eyes widen, when she saw what was happening. Then she saw Impa running towards the entrance. A moblin raised it's club to hit her in her blind spot and Sheik shot a needle in it's neck. The moblin fell and Impa made it to Sheik. Their eyes met, but without a word, the two dashed down the stairs of Kakariko Village. Once they made their way down the stairs, Impa retrieved Navi. "Take us to them," she whispered. Navi nodded, leading them both to Zora's River. It was an hour trip, but they managed to cut the time down to half an hour. Sheik said nothing; just following Link's fairy companion and Impa was behind them to ensure no harm came to either one of them.

Once they rounded the area, snow flakes fell down around them. Sheik shivered slightly, as Impa watched. Then once she caught sight of Link and Zeruda, she caught Sheik's attention. "There, hurry." Sheik and Impa ran to them. Zeruda had a cloak wrapped around Link, as well as one underneath his head. Impa knelt down beside them, as she placed a hand on Link's cool cheek.

"He looks cold," Sheik whispered to them.

"He is in a slight hypothermic state," Impa informed them. "I am guessing the stalatitie that hit him was enchanted and it is causing his body to freeze from the inside out." Sheik looked at Impa in alarm, as Navi gasped.

"That was my guess as well," Zeruda whispered.

Sheik looked terrified, "Will he die?"

Impa shook her head, "No, we can prevent that from happening."

"How?" Sheik whispered, her hand on her chest.

"We need to get him to the Gorons and quickly," Impa ordered, "They have a hot spring nearby. His wound needs to be in the healing waters, which will get rid of whatever the stalatite did." Sheik nodded softly, watching the older Sheikah pick up Link with ease. Zeruda wrapped a cloak around Link to keep him warm.

The group of women, along with Link, made their way towards Death Mountain. Sheik mentioned the ocarina, which Impa declined, stating it may make the travel worse for the hero. Impa was holding Link in her strong arms, with Sheik on her right and Zeruda on her left. Navi was flying over them all, emitting a soft blue glow. The following morning held a slight breeze, causing Zeruda to wrap her cloak around her. Sheik had one for herself and Impa. Upon reaching the devastated Kakariko Village, the tips of Link's golden hair were covered in frost.

Sheik bit her lower lip, seeing as his golden locks frozen. "We need to hurry Impa," she whispered. Impa glanced down at the hero, noting how cold he appeared. She only nodded increasing her pace. They looked around the village, as Zeruda looked around.

"This is terrible," she whispered. Sheik looked at her and only nodded. Zeruda gave her a small smile, following the Sheikah who led the group. Impa then led them up the dirt path along side of Death Mountain, avoiding the boulders that rolled by.

"We're almost there," she whispered, walking into Goron City with the girls. Navi flew down to Link-goro.

Upon seeing the hero, Link-goro gasped. "What happened to brother?"

"He was attacked in the Ice Cavern," Zeruda whispered. "We need to get him to the Hot Spring." Link-goro nodded, leading the group to a secret room. When the door opened, the warmth and steam brushed against their faces.

"Take as much as you need to make sure brother is alright," the little goron whispered. He left them alone, as Impa gently placed Link down by the spring. Sheik and Zeruda removed everything, but his white pants. Then Sheik gently pulled Link into the water and Zeruda grabbed handfuls of spring water, dumping it on the hero's head.

"How long before it takes effect?" Zeruda asked, as she continued to wet the unconscious hero's hair, but looked at Impa.

Impa looked at Link, who still looked pale, but also looking a little better. "It's already starting too, but don't stop. We need to make sure he is completely cleansed of the enchantment spell." The girls nodded, as they carefully dripped the back of Link's head into the water.

After a few minutes, Impa simply nodded. "Okay, you can get him out." Sheik, with Zeruda's help, pulled Link's body from the Spring. Impa presented a towel from them to dry him. "Now all you can do is wait for him to wake up."

Author's Note: I greatly apologize for the extensive wait. My original chapter was long, but I figured I give this to you all for the wait. So I am really sorry, but I hope you all forgive me. Please enjoy.
