A storm was raging outside this evening, the sky turned black with streaks of light blue. Then around 10 clock that night it was really windy outside, the family were settled in the living room.
Muriel was in her rocking chair with Courage snoozing in her lap, Shaggy and Scooby were on the couch were Shaggy had set him and Scooby up were they both feast on chips, Scooby Snacks, salsa, ranch dip, onion dip and sodas. Eustace was watching his show called, 'Wild Dilly Kingdom.'
Muriel was sniffing, she had a box of tissues on the floor next to her in case she needed to blow her nose. Muriel had been having allergies all day. The wind outside was howling outside, making it difficult to hear the TV.
Muriel sniffled, "It sure is a dreadful night out there boys."
"That darn storm is messing up the RECEPTION! And it's my favorite show! 'Wild Dilly Kingdom,'" Eustace complained, as he pressed the buttons continually on the remote.
Shaggy ignore his uncle's complaints, as he turned to his aunt with concern, "Like, are you okay Aunt Muriel?"
"Oh, I'm fine dear, it's just the sni-" Muriel assured her nephew, before letting out a loud sneeze, as she took one of the tissues from the tissue box, to blow her nose.
Muriel's sneeze was so loud, it made Courage jumped awake. He instantly sat up, concern filled in him immediately, as he hopped down off his owner's lap and went to the kitchen.
Shaggy and Scooby seeing this, both sat up from the couch and walked towards the kitchen to check on their best friend.
"Rare you okay Rourage?" Scooby asked.
"Yeah Scoob, just got startled by Muriel's sneeze," Courage responded with a nod, "Speaking of which, poor Muriel."
"Like, we could make her some tea for her cold," Shaggy suggested.
Courage nodded with agreement, "Doesn't hurt to try Shaggy."
Five minutes later, the cowardly trio got Muriel's tea ready, as Shaggy handed over her cup.
"Why thank you boys," Muriel sniffled.
Eustace meanwhile was trying to fix the TV reception, but no luck was on his side.
Eustace turned to the trio and yelled, "Alright you stupid dogs and stupid nephew, you can make the tea, but ya can't fix the reception?!"
Scooby sprang to his paws at once, "Rey! Re're just two dogs and a human! Rot TV fixers!"
Eustace ignored him and started to hitting the TV set, "C,mon…I just wanna watch my favorite show!"
Shaggy rolled his eyes and sighed, "Like, angry old Uncle dude, that's not gonna fix the TV-"
Before Shaggy could finished his sentence, something boomed outside, the farmhouse suddenly went sideways. The farmhouse was shuddering so wildly, it felt like someone had taken Shaggy, Scooby and Courage by the shoulders and was shaking the lives out of them.
"Goodness!" Muriel yelled.
The rest of the family screamed as the farmhouse shake violently.
Everyone tumbled to the ground and then they were still.
Courage landed on Muriel's face.
"Mmmfff..Courage…" Muriel muffled.
Courage immediately jumped off his owner, "Oh sorry Muriel," he apologized before turning to his two best friends, "Are you guys okay?"
"Reah, we're okay Rourage," Scooby said, with labored breathing.
Eustace who landed on the TV on his head stated, "What've ya down now, you stupid dogs and Shaggy-haired-fella?"
"Wh-we didn't do anything Uncle Eustace!" Shaggy wailed with annoyance.
Courage had grabbed a headlight behind his back turned on, as the power went out.
"Good thinking Courage, it is awfully dark in here," Muriel said.
"Thanks little pink dude," Shaggy replied, he was glad to have Courage round, being the smartest of the five. Courage sometimes remind him of Velma, although she was definitely smarter than Courage, that didn't mean Courage had any intelligence. The thought of Velma made his heart flutter.
"When I find ya, I'm gonna get you stupid dogs!" Eustace threatened.
After helping Eustace get his head out of the TV, the family went to the door and opened it to see what happened outside, what they found was….bizarre to say the least.
"Zoinks," Shaggy gasped.
"Where in the world are we?" Muriel asked, she was in shock of what she saw.
"I don't know, and I don't like it! It looks DISGUSTING!" Eustace responded, really grossed-out.
"Holy…" Courage began.
"….Rose," Scooby finished.
What they saw what they appeared to be in was inside of a NOSE.
"It is kind of damp, do you feel that warm breeze?" Muriel asked, not understanding what's happening.
Shaggy looked at the nose tunnel with fear and disgust, "Like, oh man, do we really have to go in there?"
Eustace turned to the cowardly trio and demanded, "Get in there and lead the way!"
Courage whined with complaint, but sighed, "I know I'm not gonna like this."
"Roh joy," Scooby whimpered with sarcasm. Not looking forward to go through a nose tunnel.
The family all had been walking down in the nose tunnel for ten minutes and they're not close to even finding a way out.
"Like, how long have we been walking?"Shaggy asked, getting sick of walking inside of a nose.
"RI don't know, five minutes maybe?" Scooby guessed, not knowing how much time has passed.
Shaggy heavily sighed, not knowing how much he was gonna take this, "I hope we find a away out soon, like, this place is really grossing me out man."
"Don't worry Shaggy, we'll find away out," Courage assured, but he didn't feel comfort in his own words, "I hope."
Then there was a slurping nose, and a hurricane like wind blow all the family off their feet, they manage to grab nose hairs that were on the ground. But unfortunately, Muriel was not so lucky, as she blew away, like a car picked up by a tornado.
Muriel scream with fear, "Boys help me!"
"Oh, we gotta save Muriel!" Courage cried with urgency.
"Re're coming Ruriel!" Scooby called out, climbing up, with his best friends.
"Move it you stupid dogs! I don't wanna get stuck in this goop!" Eustace yelled.
The group manage to find Muriel stuck in mucus.
Muriel sneezed, "Help!" she kept sneezing violently, making the trio worked up their speed to free her.
Getting to her, the family started to pull Muriel out of the mucus' grip, but it she was stuck than they originally thought.
"Put some backbone into it!" Eustace grunted.
"Like, what do you think we're doing!?" Shaggy asked, grunting, trying to get his aunt out of her predicament.
Suddenly Muriel let out a loud sneeze, "Watch out!" she warned.
"Ugh! Don't fall on me dogs and nephew!" Eustace shouted, losing his balance.
Suddenly, the family heard an very loud 'AHHH!'
The family quickly grab the nose hairs, as mucus ran down the tunnel they just walked.
"Rook out below!" Scooby cried out, with alarm.
"Like ew!" Shaggy commented with disgust, "You think it's kind of funny when your nose it's kind of runny, but it's snot!"
"Shaggy, can you do quips later!? We gotta get out of here!" Courage shouted, not in the mood for Shaggy's jokes.
Then, there was a super loud… 'AAAACCCHHOOO!"
The family were jerked up, feeling like they're in the rolling down, looking down, the good news was they're almost out. The bad news is they're far up in the sky.
"Goodness boys, how are we gonna get down from here?" Muriel asked.
"Like I don't know Aunt Muriel, but we better think of something quick!" Shaggy cried, fearing they might not get down in time.
Courage try to rattled his brain, to figure out on how to get his family safely down, then an lightbulb popped in his head. He grabbed a anchor from behind his back, "This ought to help!"
Courage then lasso the anchor like a rope and it latched onto the bridge of the nose.
"Gotcha nose!" Courage triumphly cried.
"Good thinking little pink dude!" Shaggy cheered, feeling happy that Courage was here, without him, he was sure he and his family were goners.
The family were out of the giant nose that they're in and now were holding onto the chains of then anchor for dear life.
"Good job, Courage!" Muriel said.
"Now what you stupid dog! We're far away!" Eustace shouted, with either annoyance or fear, the trio couldn't tell.
Scooby, looked down and his stomach almost plummeted with fear, on how far the ground was. But he knew there was only one thing they could do, "Re gotta jump!"
Shaggy and Scooby grabbed onto their torsos and Courage grabbed onto Muriel's boots.
"BOMBS AWAY!" Courage shouted.
"Darn it! I don't wanna jump!" Eustace screamed, but after a moments of hesitation he let go and plummet with his family shouting, "WAIT FOR MEEEEE!"
Eustace grabbed onto Muriel, as the family all scream falling all the way to the ground and fell through the roof of the house and landed in the living room.
Muriel sighed, looking seemingly relief that they're out of danger, "Home sweet home."
"What so sweet about it?" Eustace groaned.
"Like, what a night," Shaggy stated, feeling bewildered of what they went through tonight.
"Rou could say that again Raggy," Scooby breathed with fatigue.
"Well, at least we're out of the nose," Courage breath heavily, relief his love ones we're out of harms way.
The family got up and went outside to see the giant nose flew farther up to the sky, until they couldn't see it anymore.
"Well, it's better than being in outer space on a giant nose," Muriel said.
"A nose, is a nose, is a nose," Courage stated.
"Like, you could say that again little Courage guy," Shaggy agreed, with the pink beagle's statement.
Just then, when everyone just started to relax, Eustace let out a sneeze.
"Stupid dogs and nephew!" Eustace complained, now having the sniffles.
"Roh boy, here we go again," Scooby sighed, this was gonna be a long night.
