The Irony was not lost on the former director of Star Labs Emil Hamilton as he was staring into the ceiling of his cell at a Federal prison in Nevada State Prison even though he didn't like it. He was serving a life sentence for his illegal cloning experiments at Cadmus, the judge wasn't lenient in his sentencing and to top it off, he was not allowed to visit Galatea who was placed in a special cell equipped with red sun generators under any circumstances at Stryker's Island.
A bittersweet but not unjust fate. For all the accomplishments he made during his longlife, it was swept under the rug the moment the FBI stepped into his office. At that moment as he was convicted in court, he had a horrid realization that he became the very thing he opposed; A villain.
Not only did he broke the trust between him and Superman when he joined Cadmus and used both his and Supergirl's DNA to create clones out of fear but also he groomed essentially a young girl into becoming an stone cold assassin for Cadmus. The term laying on the bed he made was never more appropriate in this moment of time. Yes, this was what he deserved.
With a dejected sigh, he closed his eyes as he took a nap, thinking about his sins.
