"Oh! excellent work, this draught of living death receives full marks," said Slughorn to James and Lily. "Now, as you are already a member of my club, you are invited to the Christmas Party along with the other members which I am holding on the last day of term, you all can bring a date along with you too. And Mr Potter though you have denied my previous invites, you can't decline this as two guests will be very interested to meet you, and I am sure you would want to meet them too."
"Who professor?" asked James.
"Well I can tell you one which will convince you but the other is a surprise, so your father is a special guest at my party, and I want you to be there," said Slughorn.
"Sure I will be there, professor," replied James smiling but the moment Slughorn was out of earshot James groaned, "I will miss the end-of-term prank, but now I have to go because of my father."
"You were coming anyway, I was not going without you, as I am not interested in that stuff, and going back home will suck," said Lily sadly remembering that she would never see her aunt again.
"I will visit you," said James.
"But only on boxing day," groaned Lily, and before James could say anything, Sirius came to him.
"Now, Prongs we need your help with the prank, let's hurry up," said Sirius pulling James with him, James mouthed to Lily that they will talk about it later before leaving and she nodded slightly.
Lily sat on the chair sad-faced as she collected her things and a few of James' things he has forgotten to take in a hurry, she was lost in her thoughts that she didn't notice the class emptying.
"I warned you that Potter and his friends are not good people and now you have faced it," someone said behind her and she turned to see Snape.
"What?"
"I have seen Lily how you were begging him to talk to you but he left you, I saw that you were not talking with him and his cousin, I heard that you and Mckinnon had a row that day, how she shouted at you. You see, now you are all sad because of him while he has got a new girl just last night," said Snape.
"What are you even talking about?"
"I am ready to be your friend again, Lily if you want, you don't have to be friends with that arrogant git and his cousin, I will be your friend. See, he made you sad and left, this is how they are they don't care about others. But I care, be my friend again like the old times, we both hate that Potter he first did that near the lake to me and has now made you all sad. You will see how I make him for what he did to me and to you."
"Really, do you think that? You will make him pay for making me sad but not your dear friends who commented on me that day? You were there and you didn't said anything to them, you just stood there, do you know what they called me?. THEY CALLED ME A 'MUDBLOOD WHORE'. BUT THAT YOU DIDN'T HEAR." shouted Lily.
" I couldn't that day but I promise I will make Potter pay fo..." Snape began but was cut by Lily.
"STOP! JUST STOP! You are such a hypocrite, you are saying you care but on the other hand, you are just doing the exact opposite, choosing those death eaters. So, you better leave me alone and stop pretending that you care, and leave me alone," she shouted throwing her bag over her shoulder and storming off. "AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION JAMES DIDN'T HURT ME AND HE NEVER WILL" she yelled before leaving the classroom.
Why he always has to make her life more miserable, why can't he just leave me alone and stop hurting me? Can he ever see what she wants? That she likes her friends Marls and Mary, and that she likes James. He is so blinded that he only sees bad things.
She reached the common room to find the four boys sitting together in a corner, Remus was looking paler and ill, it is a full moon tomorrow night. James saw her and gave her a smile which she returned before proceeding to Mary and Marls. She noticed that Mary was examining the Marauder's map carefully while Marls was writing an essay.
"What are you looking at in that?" she asked Mary.
"I am clearing my suspicions," said Mary.
"About?"
"I can't tell you, I am not still clear and it's not my place, but it's nothing to worry about," replied Mary.
"Okay," replied Lily looking suspiciously at Mary.
"So, whom with you are going to Slughorn's party?" asked Marls with a mischievous grin.
"I haven't decided yet, but maybe I will ask Benjy or. . Sirius," said Lily with a knowing grin and Marls turned red and then buried her head in her essay.
Mary wasn't focusing on them, she was following someone who wasn't moving much except during the night. Why?
The next day they were all sitting at breakfast, Lily had been already asked by two boys, a Ravenclaw seventh year and a Hufflepuff sixth year to go to the party with them but she had turned them both down.
The same was true for James a Hufflepuff seventh year had asked her but he too had turned her down.
"Very less girls are asking you because half of them think you are with Keeva and few are under the impression that you are with Lucy and few of them think you are with both," pointed out Mary after a fifth-year Gryffindor girl had just asked him and he had turned her down.
"I will suggest that if you will find someone soon then you will be freed and they will stop disturbing you," said Marls with a mischievous grin. "And the same goes for you Lils."
"Well look who is coming," pointed Sirius at Lucy who was coming towards them and then took a seat next to James.
"Hey James, I heard you are invited to the slug club as well, I am also in it and I am looking for a date too, so I think we should go together," said Lucy.
James looked at his friends, towards Mary who shook her face when James pleaded through his eyes, Marls just grinned, and then he looked at Lily who was looking at her food determinedly. "Actually sorry, Lucy, Lily here asked if we can go as friends together yesterday and I said 'yes', so I am going with her. She asked me first," said James and he kicked Lily with his leg but instead hit Peter who cried in pain.
"Oh! so you are going with her as friends?"
"Yes," said James.
"Okay, I should have asked you earlier, but anyway I will see you tomorrow at the party," said Lucy and after kissing his cheek she left.
"I would have said yes to her anytime," said Kevin who was sitting nearby, in place of Remus(who was in the hospital).
"I don't like her," said James.
"Well, James she is under the impression that you are kind of dating her," said Nancy Robins, Gryffindor beater who was sitting next to Kevin.
"What?"
"Yes, she even had a row with Keeva the other day," said Nancy.
"Why can't they leave me alone," said James throwing his hand in the air.
"Because you are single mate, the moment you get a girl they will all stop this," said Sirius, and others agreed except Lily who didn't look up from her food.
"I agree, Lucy and Keeva want to get a shot with you," said Mary.
"I don't like them," said James.
"I have a plan to help you," said Sirius excitedly.
"How?" asked James.
"I will talk to Moony first and then we will tell you," said Sirius. "And I think you will like it."
"Anyway thanks, Lily for not denying it, I had no other ideas to escape her," he said concealing his grin.
"It's okay, James, I don't like her myself," said Lily.
"Wonder why," said Marls but no one except Lily and James paid attention to her shooting her looks.
The next day passed in a blur, with an hour spent with Dumbledore, and now it was time for the Christmas Party. When Lily reached the common room where she was to meet James, she found people making their way to The Great Hall for the end-of-the-term feast, except for Slug-club members and their dates.
James descended the boys' staircase soon, Lily saw that he looked tired and had dark circles under his eyes, but he grinned when he saw her.
"You look tired," commented Lily when they were walking to Slughorn's office hand in hand.
"The lesson with Dumbledore was tiring and then today evening was quidditch practice, besides I didn't get much sleep at night," said James and then regretted it.
"Why? Remus, I understand but you?" asked Lily looking at him.
"We all, Padfoot, Wormy, and I, stay awake every full moon night to make sure nothing wrong happens, or no one goes that side to prevent any mishap, and besides we can't sleep when our friend is in pain," said James telling her only half-truth.
"Oh, I am sorry for that, you are really great and others too, you all care for Remus very much," said Lily and then leaned into him and whispered into his ears, "this makes me like you more."
It send chills to James, for a slight second he wanted to tell her more about what he does to help Moony, but he controlled himself. Though after making sure they were alone he kissed her.
The sounds of laughter, music and loud conversation were coming from the Slughorn's office. The ceiling and walls of the office had been draped with colourful hangings. It was very crowded.
"Lily, m'girl! and James m'boy!" boomed Slughorn, almost as soon as they had entered through the door, "Come in, come in, I have few peoples I'd like you both to meet!"
James gripped Lily's arm as Slughorn led them into the party.
"Here, meet Ludo Bagman, the rising star, and R. J. H. King, the captain of Puddlemere United and a core member of the Welsh National Quidditch Team, the national Quidditch Team of Wales," said Slughorn pointing at two men.
James' smile widened as he shook King's hand, "I have seen you play a lot, I like your spiral dive and knuckleball. I am a big fan of you."
"Thank you very much and I too heard about you from Ludo here and from Slughorn and many others too," said King. "I will put in a word for Puddlemore United, we are already looking for a chaser."
"Thank you," said James and after talking for some more minutes, James and Lily moved into a corner.
"You are so lucky, he just said he would put in a word for you, and with your skills, they will select you for sure," said Lily happily, she too had heard of King.
"It is great but I am not interested in that now, not with the war going on," said James. "Anyway now you can meet my father, there he is."
Meeting with Fleamont Potter, was very exciting for Lily even though she had met him before, but wasn't aware of who he was.
James and Lily were standing and enjoying the drinks when Lucy came up to them and after talking for 10 minutes to James she left hinting at meeting him soon or possibly during Christmas.
They were interfered with again by a young man who took James aside and talked to him, Lily noticed that James was being uncomfortable and angry too with the conversation.
James returned back to Lily, his already tired face was looking more tired.
"Can we go back?" he asked her and she nodded. James put his arm around her waist.
"What was that man talking to you about?" she asked and saw James shift uncomfortably before sighing.
"He was talking about all the pureblood shit and how I have a bright future. I think he was indirectly hinting to me to support the idea of blood purity," said James.
"Ohh,"
"Hmm, I got angry at him but for sake of Slughorn and the fact he was a friend of my father from the office, I didn't said anything that I wanted to say."
"How are you feeling?"
"Tired,. . . . . but you can cheer me up, and also we will be away, so we can make up for all of it."
"Let's cheer you up then," said Lily grinning as James led her to an empty classroom. After Merlin know what time, they sat silently on one of the tables in the room.
"Lily, can I request you something?"
"Hmm,"
"When you are at home, please avoid leaving your home and if you do so, don't be out alone and always keep your wand with you and be alert," said James.
"Why?"
"Because of Snape,"
"I am not afraid of him," said Lily.
"I know, and I also know you are very strong, but it's good to be precautions and to have your wand with you,"
"I don't always need a wand, I can do a little wandless magic," said Lily and James jumped in front of him.
"Really?" he asked happily as well as shocked. Lily nodded. "Can you show me?"
Lily removed her wand and handed it to James and then after concentrating for a few seconds she pointed her hand at a chair in front of them and it rose in the air and started revolving.
"Lily, that's amazing and it's hard magic to do," exclaimed James. Lily smiled and put down the chair.
"It came more naturally to me like quidditch and transfiguration to you. I was able to do it before I knew that I was a witch, many young witches and wizards are able to do it but they aren't able to control it, but I was and when I came to Hogwarts, I read about it and by the end of the third year I was able to do some wandless magic, though it's difficult and exhausting and I am able to do only simple spells."
"Who else knows?" asked James.
"Just you. But, Snape saw me do it, when I was unaware of the magical world, he said it was natural for kids like us, but I didn't tell him that I had mastered it even more, and I never showed it to him," said Lily.
"Why?" asked James. "I mean he was your friend."
"Yeah, but here at Hogwarts, Snape always wanted to be better than me or anyone, he gets jealous easily, I had a doubt that if I tell him that I am good at wandless magic then he would get jealous and might affect our friendship," said Lily. "And besides I didn't tell anyone because I didn't feel like telling anyone, and I do not show off like you," she teased.
"But you showed me," said James.
"Of course, I showed you, I trust you and I felt like sharing it with you." James kissed her temple as he hugged her.
"I hope, I will tell you everything about me to you soon. I also trust you, but now is not the time, but someday I will," said James.
"It's okay and it's up to you, you can tell me when you are comfortable. Anyway How many secrets do you have?" asked Lily.
"Just one important one, and there's a few more," replied James. "Now, I come to think of, you know more secrets about me than anyone else, and soon I will tell you my other secrets too."
"Well, then I am a lucky one," grinned Lily.
"Yes, but I am luckier to have you," said James. "But Lily promise me you will be alert when you are at home and will have your wand with you too."
"Why are you so worried about it? I can handle Snape," said Lily.
"I know, but I am afraid I... I will tell you about it when I am confirmed about it, but until then please promise me you will do all the things I said and you will be alert."
"Okay, I will be alert," promised Lily.
"I will miss you," he said kissing her.
"Me too,"
The next morning before leaving, Peter and James were summoned to the headmaster's office,
"I have decided the heist to be on new year's eve at midnight to be precise, as that will be the time when most of them will be relaxed and drunk," said Dumbledore.
"We are fine with it professor," said James, and Peter nodded, though both of them looked sad.
"I know it's the night to enjoy but that's our only best chance," said Dumbledore.
"How will we convince our parents and friends?" asked Pete.
"You both will tell others about this lottery V.I.P. tickets you won together for a muggle party at Somerset house on new year's eve, these are rare tickets to get, so no will stop you. I will be your driver and we will meet at Pettigrew's house. Okay?" he said handing them the tickets.
"Perfect sir," said Peter.
"How did you get these tickets? They are real," asked James curiously.
"Well, there was this beautiful woman I met when I was young, we are still friends, her family organizes this event, so I get lucky," winked Dumbledore.
The train ride back to King's Cross was an eventful one, with everyone talking happily of holidays and Sirius talking about coming of age on the 23rd. Though both James and Peter were looking on the edge, the entire journey.
Due to the crowded station and not getting the chance alone, James and Lily weren't able to say a proper goodbye, but while hugging everyone, and then each other, they got a moment.
"I will give you your gift when you will come," whispered Lily.
"Okay, I will do the same, and be cheerful," whispered James.
The Christmas at The Potter Manor was less cheerful than it was in past years, James was missing Uncle Ben and he saw his parents were feeling the same. James was grateful to have Sirius at home. Sirius has come up with the task to cheer up everyone, he knew this is what that was needed. The Potters celebrated his birthday and gift him a helmet(whose meaning he didn't understand), Remus, Peter and Marls came too. On Christmas eve Sirius begin singing carols, though out of tone, it was funny, James joined him in this one:
I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus
Underneath the mistletoe last night.
She thought that I was tucked
up in my bedroom fast asleep.
Then, I saw Mommy tickle Santa Claus
Underneath his beard so snowy white;
Oh, what a laugh it would have been
If Daddy had only seen
Mommy kissing Santa Claus last night
This led to Euphemia chasing them, though she was laughing.
Before going to bed they all sang together:
Joy to the world, the Lord is come
Let earth receive her King
Let every heart prepare Him room
And heaven and nature sing
Joy, unspeakable joy
It rises in my soul
Christmas day was spent with joy, Sirius' gift package was the smallest box, and contained a key, but it meant everything to him, it was the 'Harley-Davidson Super Glide'.
The excitement and happiness on Sirius' face was proof to The Potters that he loved the gift, he had tears in his eyes when he hugged Euphemia and Fleamont.
Though he was warned to not get in trouble in the muggle world.
James knocked on Lily's door the next morning, after making an excuse at home about going to watch a musical, and the door burst open instantly and Lily emerged grinning madly.
"Hello," said Lily her cheeks turning red.
"Hi, were you waiting just behind the door?" asked James with a smirk, Lily nodded before turning even redder.
"Who is it dear?" came Rose's voice.
"It's James," Lily shouted back.
"Invite him in dear," said Rose.
"He will come later, we are late, we are going out now," Lily said back winking at James.
"Take care, dear," said Rose, and James and Lily left.
They walked into the neighbourhood, every corner was decorated with Christmas lights and decorations, many children were out playing with snow, few elders had joined them as well.
"This area looks more beautiful in winter than in summer, with snow and all these decorations, it looks as if it has come to life," commented James slipping his hands in hers.
"That's what I think too, summer is peaceful and silent, and in winter it's all festive, celebration and happiness all around," said Lily, she lead James to a park with swings and other rides, it was empty as it was morning time, they sat on a bench. They talked about all things that happened since the last they met and today, they talked about parents and friends and about Sirius crying with happiness.
"Here this is the gift for you from me," said Lily, as she took out a red and gold scarf, and handed it to him. It had the number 7 written on it(James' quidditch number), there was a drawing of a snitch, and antlers in gold on it. "I made it myself with a little help from my mum," she said as James put it around his neck.
"It's awesome Lily, there are antlers drawing," he breathed.
"Yes, I made them, don't you like them?" she asked worriedly.
"I love it but how did you know about antlers?" he asked.
"Remember in Hogsmeade, when I asked you about your nickname and you said you like the antlers, so I made it," replied Lily sheepishly.
"You remembered,"
"Of course, I remember you, idiot,"
"It means a lot Lily, I loved this scarf."
"Thanks, I am glad you loved it."
"Now it's my turn to give you the gift," he said and took out a small square box. Lily's eyes widened in shock, James looked at her and laughed, "It's not what you think it is, relax Evans," he said and Lily relaxed and was embarrassed. "That day will be more special than this," he added quietly but Lily heard it, and she turned redder. "It's a kind of bracelet . . . . more of a wristband, but it's magical." He said opening the box, inside was a purple colour bracelet with a Lily flower at its top.
"It's beautiful," she said.
"I brought it from Diagon Alley, it has the magic of protection, it uses the power of love, at least that's what the witch told me, it's ancient. Can I put it on your wrist?" Lily nodded moving her hands forward. "I dunno how real the witch's words but it was looking beautiful and I added that lily on it."
"I love it, it looks beautiful," she said happily.
James pulled her onto his lap and they began snogging, knowing that they can kiss here far away from their friends in the empty park. The bracelet glowed slowly from the love, not the physical but the real love.
Both of them were free from worries of getting caught by prefects or any students and teachers as they continued their session and deepened it further.
But their assumption was wrong as a greasy-haired boy watched them, he was first shocked at this, he was in the park like every day to see her, to get a chance and say sorry, but she never turned up, but now she does but with the last person, he wanted to see. He remembered being there when he had first seen Lily and when he had first informed her that she is a witch and about Hogwarts. He remembered last year, at Christmas, meeting with her here, they had fought then and she stormed off, but he had always thought about this place as theirs. But now watching the person they had both hated, was kissing her, at their spot and she was letting her kiss him. He was shaking with anger and jealousy, it was taking every effort from him to stop himself and hexing and cursing that boy. He has neglected it till now but now he knew the first thing he had to do when he reached school, 'hurt Potter as badly as possible.'
He sat there hidden, and as he saw the two of them, talking and laughing, he saw how she laughed at something stupid he must have said, there was that brightness and happiness in her eyes. He hated this sight. She shouldn't laugh with that Potter, it should be him.
Potter, first took Hogwarts, then quidditch and girls followed him. Snape was jealous of him, he had everything he wanted, but Snape was happy to have Lily by her side and topping potions, enjoying insulting and hating together with her, but slowly that Potter had taken Lily also, and with that, with her help Potter had started getting top in potions too, emerging at the top. He has taken everything from him, everything.
But Snape knew all of this was foolishness and Lily would come back to him in end, when she will come to her senses and realize how powerful he was and that Potter was nothing in front of him.
Snape has felt connected to The Dark Lord, Avery has told him in the third year that he knew from his father that the real name of The Dark Lord was 'TOM MARVOLO RIDDLE'. Snape had searched this name and after searching a lot has found that The Dark Lord was a 'Half-Blood' just like him, both of them had a witch for mother but a muggle a fucking muggle for father. Snape since then has felt more connected to The Dark Lord and was sure that in summer The Dark Lord must have felt the same.
Snape shares the views of The Dark Lord, why should others get the gift of magic, the muggles are not worthy and don't deserve it at all. The wizards are higher than those normal muggles and the wizards should rule the muggle world. He believed just like The Dark Lord in 'Pure-blood supremacy .'
Snape watched the pair getting up, walking away together, very close to each other. He too left, he had more important things, he had to meet The Dark Lord before returning to Hogwarts and was to get 'the dark mark' as he was going to come of age soon, and then he will become powerful, he would be one amongst The Dark Lord's circle.
"What are we going to do next?" asked Lily.
"To our first date, but we are not following the suit, we are going to do it in our way," replied James.
"And where are we going?"
"First to 'Blackpool Pleasure Beach', it has Christmas decorations on, lots of rides, and games to enjoy. replied James and grinned when Lily shrieked happily and jumped to hug him. "Then to the London Dungeons',"
"Please tell that we will get on roller coasters too," said Lily excitedly and James laughed at her childish behaviour.
"Of course, we will now come, hopefully, the knight bus will be less crowded today so we will reach there faster," he said.
After an hour(thanks to the very fast speed of the Knight Bus) they reached The Blackpool Pleasure Beach. They first took a ride on The 'Grand National' then on 'Big Dipper' and then 'The Ghost Train.' Then to 'The Gold Mine Ride' which according to James was slightly like Gringott's Vaults, but Lily hasn't been inside Gringott's. They roamed around enjoying rides and then playing some games in fun zones. James beat Lily at balloon shooting, while Lily beat him at bowling.
"Let's go have lunch before going to London Dungeons," said James.
After having lunch at a restaurant, both of them went to London Dungeon, The trip to London Dungeons took them about one and a half hours, there was a group of young girls who were all getting scared very easily and shrieking at top of their voices, this made the experience more real for James and Lily, they had been holding hands tightly throughout the trip.
"The Torture Chamber was very scary and adventurous, I got goosebumps, but I liked it," said Lily.
"I personally liked The Whitechapel Labyrinth, it was tricky," said James.
"Yeah, it was," admitted Lily.
"But after being friends with a werewolf and sneaking at Hogwarts and the Forbidden Forest, it wasn't that scary," said James slowly.
Lily hit his arm playfully, "Hey, don't spoil the fun."
By the time they left the dungeons, it was 4:30, and lights were on around the streets, Lily recommended walking around London and simply enjoying the colourful and wonderful lights and decorations around the city, eating food, and drinking hot chocolates. After thirty minutes James stopped Lily.
"Lils, we have to go now or we will be late," said James.
"We have a lot of time James, we will reach home before 7," said Lily.
"No, actually we are going somewhere else, our last place tonight, and it's nearby so let's get a cab," said James, Lily nodded and then they took a cab.
They reached Primrose Hill, and Lily's smile widened. They sat on the grass and enjoyed the beautiful scene in front of them.
"So, Lils you liked our first date?" asked James.
"Nah," replied Lily honestly, James ran his hand through his hair as his smile faded.
"You didn't liked it? I shouldn't have taken you to these things, I should have taken you to places like other people go on dates and not on rides and dungeons, I was stupid, I tried to change this, I am sorry," he said.
"James, I didn't liked it because 'like' is not the correct word, I loved it, it was the best day in my life and my best date, and I am very grateful you didn't go for normal stuff like others, because I am not normal, and neither are we, we are different than others, this is the best date I could have asked for," said Lily and James grinned.
"Thanks, Merlin, you loved it, I thought a lot about this. So, it was better than what I had planned before which Remus and Mary did?"
"That was good, other girls will love it, me too, it was very amazing but this what we did today is far far better than that at least for me, and this place, here is great," she said looking around, many other couples were there too.
James pulled her closer and kissed her. After a long kissing session, they sat watching the scenery and listening to songs on the walkman and singing along with them.
"So, will you visit again?" asked Lily as they walked towards her home.
"I dunno, maybe, I will try," said James putting his around her shoulder and she leaned in.
"How about New Year's eve or New Year's day?" asked Lily excitedly.
"I . . . I am sorry, Lily, but I will not be able to make it on that day," said James sadly, the thought of the heist was giving both him and Peter nervousness, and the fact of it being on New Year's eve was more depressing.
"It's okay, you too need to spend time with your family," said Lily smiling at him but there was a hint of disappointment in her tone. "So, what do you all do on New year?"
"Not much sometimes we celebrate it among ourselves and some friends of mum and dad come too or usually my parents go to The Ministry party and I tag along with them," said James, "This year we are celebrating at home, just us, no one was in the mood to go to a party this year."
"I see, I am sorry it must be hard, without him," said Lily.
"Yeah, but Padfoot cheers us all with his acts," chuckled James, "One day we both woke up early to make breakfast and surprise them, Pardey, our house elf was asleep as well, we were cooking and we ran out of salt, so we used baking soda," Lily burst out laughing,
"Why wouldn't you? They're both white powders. Of course, they're interchangeable," said Lily and again began laughing.
"And when mum and dad tasted our food happily, they tried to hide it that it was horrible, they asked us to eat before taking another bite, and it was really horrible, my father and mother laughed all day at this."
"I wonder why," said Lily controlling her laughter.
James stayed at Lily's house for half an hour, talking to her parents, Petunia herself was out to meet her local friends.
"Have a happy new year James," said Lily hugging him, they were at the doorsteps now.
"You too, Lils," said James hugging her tighter, he was now feeling afraid, what if the heist failed or something goes wrong? "I want you to know that I like you a lot Lils, and I hope that we meet soon."
"Why are you talking like that?" she looked up at him, there was sadness and a hint of fear in his expression and eyes. "James, is everything okay?"
"Yeah," his grip loosened around her but Lily now tightened her grip.
"No, there's surely something," said Lily and then whispered, "Tell me."
"It's just a bad feeling about a few upcoming days, it's going to be hard, but if I will be lucky everything will be alright," said James.
"Think positive and you will be lucky, and also you have your lucky potion now, you can use it to get lucky whenever you want. But don't let those feelings interrupt your life, those are just feelings," said Lily to lighten his mood. The idea of Felix Felicis will ensure their success, thought James, and beside Dumbledore will be with them to protect them.
"Lily, you are the best, and now I am sure everything will be fine, just give me a kiss for luck" he grinned. Lily relaxed when he grinned and stood on her tip-toes to kiss him.
"I will see you soon," whispered Lily.
"See you soon," said James and then he walked to the road, raised his hand and The Knight Bus materialized in front of him after a minute and he left.
