I'm posting earlier than expected due to recent events. Please read the reviews on my fanfic "Bloodlust: Grievance and Denial". I need help. I did what they wanted but I'm still afraid. I have never been in this scenario. I don't want my account deleted, and I don't want to find out what the "consequences" are. Just support would be fine. Maybe a PM or something. Anything similar. Please don't lash out at these people. Please don't report these people... that is all. I won't be replying to reviews right now, I'm not in the best mood (aka I'm honestly terrified). I only posted this pre-written chapter to get the word out. I really hope this doesn't trigger them. o_o
Everyone looked at Lloyd in shock, but the Green Ninja wasn't focused on that. He was focused on Kai, who still looked furious despite also being shook by Lloyd's appearance. Lloyd couldn't help but think about how much he missed his time, where Kai didn't act like an impulsive jerk.
Well, he's still impulsive, but not as much of a jerk anymore.
"Wh- who are you?" Cole asked, staring at Lloyd with confusion and slight disappointment.
"I still can't tell you," Lloyd snarled in an icy tone, still refusing to take his eyes off of Kai, just in case he tried anything else.
"You don't look like any of us… but the prophecy said that one of us was gonna become the Green Ninja!" Kai growled, frustrated.
"I don't know, maybe he's Zane! He's got blonde hair…" Jay suggested, and Lloyd shook his head in disbelief.
"Zane?" Nya asked rhetorically, looking off into the distance.
"Yeah, Zane. You know. White Ninja. The smart, strange one," Jay described, but Nya shook her head.
"No, Zane!" Nya emphasized, pointing at the white ninja as he emerged from behind a cliff.
"Zane!" the ninja shouted in joy, running up to the nindroid and leaving Lloyd to sulk and immensely regret his decisions.
"Zane!" Jay cheered, squeezing his friend. "Why'd you leave? Don't ever do that again!"
"My apologies," Zane chuckled.
"But seriously, why did you leave, Zane?" Kai asked, breaking free from the hug.
"I saw the Falcon again and I followed him," Zane explained, and the group laughed.
"That's our Zane," Cole joked, patting the ice ninja on the back.
They're completely fine when Zane follows the Falcon, but when I do it once it's the end of the world.
Ugh, I need to calm down. It's not their fault. They don't understand that the monastery was meant to burn. They can't see the bigger picture. I shouldn't get mad at them.
Nya approached the group with a smile on her face, Wu hovering behind her.
"We're happy to have you back," Nya beamed, and Zane made a confused face.
"Why? Is it my turn to make dinner?" Zane asked, genuinely stumped. The group cracked up again.
"Yes, Zane. We would love for you to make dinner," Wu laughed, and Zane grinned.
"But I already made it. Come, I want to show you what I've found. I think you'll all be pleased," Zane smiled, leading the others along a path. Lloyd followed them, but at a distance, still sour about the fight prior to Zane's arrival.
I'm not even that mad with Kai. He doesn't know who I am, where I came from, or if I can be trusted.
Honestly, I'm mad at myself. I shouldn't've provoked him. I shouldn't've contributed to the fight. I shouldn't've let him get to me. But I did, and now I only have myself to blame.
Soon the ninja arrived at a large, flat desert space.
The Sea of Sand
In the middle of the scorching, dry plane was a large red ship with a beautifully decorated wooden dragon mounted as the figurehead at the front. Lloyd immediately recognized the ancient boat as the Destiny's Bounty.
"Our new home," Zane grinned, and the ninja gasped.
"Do I smell pie?" Jay asked, intensely sniffing the air around him.
"Cobbler berry. Oh, and I made myrtle berry and apple and—" Zane started, but the ninja dragged him along to the Bounty, rushing to get to the pie.
After some time passed of just Sensei Wu looking out at the Bounty, the old master finally addressed the elephant in the room.
"I think I know who you are," Wu stated, refusing to turn and look at Lloyd. The Green Ninja slowly made his way over to his uncle, standing next to him.
"Who am I then?" Lloyd asked, glancing at Wu and hoping he didn't guess correctly, while also genuinely curious if his uncle had indeed noticed who he was.
"You are much like your father, in both appearance and personality," Wu claimed, and Lloyd knew then and there that Wu knew who he was. "So it's true, you had to fight your father?"
"Several times, actually," Lloyd sighed, not meeting Wu's stare as the sensei turned towards his nephew.
"I am quite sorry," Wu apologized, and Lloyd frowned.
"You don't have to apologize. It's not your fault," Lloyd muttered, watching as the ninja stumbled aboard the Bounty and rushed to the bridge.
There was a moment of silence before Wu spoke again.
"You have matured well. I would've never known had Kai not removed your mask," Wu stated, readjusting his grip on the FSM's staff. Lloyd nodded but didn't reply. "Is something bothering you?"
"It's nothing. Just… future stuff. Nothing important right now," Lloyd sighed, running his fingers through his hair.
"If you say so," Wu shrugged, grabbing Lloyd's hand. "Come now. It would be a shame to let them eat all that pie."
Please review, I need some positivity after being scared half to death.
